Emmie and her team are so easy to work with. From Scratch had all my guests raving about how good the food was. The presentation is amazing as well. 10/10 would book with From Scratch again! They make sure all your needs are met for your big day.

From Scratch catered our wedding on 9/14/24. We looked at many caterers in the Milwaukee area, got tons of quotes, etc., and were never impressed with the people we were talking to. The automated messages and copy-and-paste responses made us feel like we were a number to them. It was SO different with From Scratch. Addie and Donna were the first 2 we talked to; they were so wonderful. They take so much pride in their food but also in their service. Every other place we found felt like a mass production. From Scratch makes everything "from scratch" using vegetables and herbs from their garden and meats sourced from locals. The flavors in the food were unmatched- we received SO many compliments on it and there wasn't a single leftover. They did our appetizers as well- phenomenal and loved that their servers made sure the bride and groom got some from every tray :) We did buffet style, which really wasn't what we wanted at all, but because the food was so good during our food tasting, we were willing to settle with buffet. They made the buffet look beautiful- decor, candles, flowers, just a beautiful presentation. Their staff made sure water glasses were full during dinner as well. They also did our mini desserts- they were out of this world. I love the concept of their business. Support small and local. Would book them over and over again!!

From Scratch catered my wedding on August 17th, 2024. I 100% recommend this caterer for any event that you may be planning. The food is absolutely AMAZING!! Not only that, but the staff is incredibly nice and responsive during the planning process as well as the event itself. I have received numerous compliments following my wedding asking what caterer we used because everyone was so impressed with the food. I couldn't be happier with the service I received from them!

One month later and people are still coming up to us and commenting on how great the food was. From the appetizers to the main course, all of the food was incredible and was a unique element to our wedding. The most difficult part was having to choose between what we wanted because everything we had at the tasting was amazing. The staff was very friendly as well. Working with Addie made the planning stress-free and she was accommodating for any changes we needed throughout the process. Dietary restrictions for us and our guests were not an issue at all. We will be contacting Addie and From Scratch Catering for any events in the future.

From Scratch Catering did a fantastic job of accommodating to our various dietary restrictions and needs. Not to mention the food was fantastic! Would strongly recommend.

Let’s just say, I’m still thinking about the food one month after our wedding. We had a wedding of ~85 guests and had struggled finding a vendor without a huge minimum, but also had quality food. From the first tasting, we knew we wanted to work with From Scratch. Addie and her family are OUTSTANDING. The menu is vast, but they do an amazing job helping you figure out what you like and allow you to make changes to your liking. Everything is fresh and it tastes like a homemade meal. You can tell these ladies love what they do. Our guests continuously raved about the food all night and into the next morning. People especially loved the salad with the warmed bacon maple dressing. They had numerous gluten free options, and truly helped make our day absolutely perfect. From Scratch was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

My husband and I are so thankful that we had the privilege of working with From Scratch for our wedding catering. We had a 2 year engagement before our big day and the family/staff from, From Scratch were so helpful. They guided us through food selections, pairing, rentals (linens, napkins, cutlery and plates), and helped walk us through their entire process from start to finish. We chose: Passed Appetizers - Bruschetta & beef tenderloin on a toasted crostini. Antipasta - Trendy chopped salad & bread basket Entree - Lemon chicken with capers & rosemary, stuffed beef tenderloin with marsala sauce, garlic smashed potatoes and roasted root vegetables First off, the food was amazing, even in large quantities it still tasted exactly like our taste test meal. The service was so quick during our wedding - within 15 mins everyone had their plates. They took special care of those who had dietary restrictions and even handled a couple dietary preferences (I - the bride, am a very picky eater). We had so many people comment on how amazing the food was, this even extended to requesting/special ordering their salad dressing for a couple guests. We plan to order this meal again for two for our 1 year anniversary. The family and staff from, From Scratch played a large part in making our day absolutely seamless. Thank you all so much!!

From Scratch Catering did a fantastic job for our wedding this past August. We are still getting comments from our friends and family about how much they enjoyed the food! From Scratch did a great job accommodating our guests with dietary restrictions and the whole night went on without a hitch. Couldn't have asked for better service!

I can't say enough about how delicious this food is. We had so many guests both the day of and in the days after say they've never had better food at a wedding. Plus, Addie and everyone else at From Scratch were some of the nicest people we've ever worked with. They made the planning process so easy and worked with us down to every detail. We had several guests with dietary restrictions who said this was the best vegetarian or vegan dish they'd ever been served at an event. Do yourself a favor and use this company. Then do yourself another favor and put their mac and cheese on your menu. Trust me.

From Scratch Catering provided fantastic food both quality wise and how good it was for our June 17th wedding. Despite small hiccups, they worked hard to remedy any concerns we brought to them. Our guests and us couldn't recommend them more for your wedding or other event and highly suggest their mac and cheese. :)

From Scratch is amazing!! My fiancé and I really wanted GREAT food for our wedding and FSC definitely did that! Our guests are still raving about every piece of food from the appetizers, to the entrees and of course the late night Mac and cheese bar. Addie was an absolute dream to work with during the planning process for catering our wedding. From the moment we stepped into their shop for our tasting, we immediately felt welcomed and knew that these were people who truly care about serving the highest quality of food. On the day of our wedding, we had a plated service for ~160 guests. Addie and her team made the entire dinner service seamless - from plating, to serving, to cleaning up. They truly have it figured out down to a science. We cannot recommend From Scratch Catering enough for any and all wedding catering needs.

I've worked with From Scratch Catering for many years prior to booking them for my wedding. They're extremely professional and the most wonderful women you've ever met. I always told my husband prior to getting married that I never wanted to be that wedding that people walked away from speaking negatively on the food served. So it was a no-brainer for my husband and I to book From Scratch Catering. I worked with Addie for figuring out our hot chocolate bar, cocktail hour and dinner options. So many options are available to you, including the fact that they can make whatever it is you ask of them. My on-site wedding coordinator was Emmie. Both her and her staff were amazing. Things ran smoothly with zero complaints. To this day, we're still hearing from our wedding guests how amazing the food was. I will ALWAYS recommend From Scratch to anyone who asks me.

All I can say is AWESOME!!! I want to compliment, and thank, Addie and her FSC team for the wonderful job they did for my son, and daughter-in-law's wedding. The wedding was in a barn in southern Wisconsin, and she knew just what to do, which eased any concerns we had. The food was absolutely delicious, and the arrangements were beautiful. Addie and the entire From Scratch Catering crew were everything we were hoping for - a full service caterer with a giant heart. We received so much help and so many good ideas for our small wedding at home, that I can only imagine how much a bride planning a larger party would benefit. There was always clear information and good communication, great attention to detail, their vendor affiliates were fantastic, and the quality of all the pieces and parts was perfect. Our guests raved about the food, and all the servers were high quality and attentive and kind. We're very grateful they were with us on our big day.

I cannot say enough good things about Addie and From Scratch Catering. This family went above and beyond to make the entire process a breeze and a dream. On the day of our wedding, they were helping my family set up centerpieces for cocktail hour and taking any extra load off of our plate - so kind and so generous. The entire planning process was easy and clear, and as soon as we had our tasting we knew we made the right choice. We ended up selecting a few items for our menu that we didn't even taste, and our expectations were blown out of the water. The brussels sprouts au gratin and the tomato/onion/cheese tart were absolute smash hits. The food, the service, the experience, all a 10/10. I can't recommend From Scratch enough! I am still wowed with how AMAZING the food was at our wedding. Delicious food was a top priority for my partner and I— From Scratch delivered!! The number of people who came up to me the night of the wedding to say how good the food was felt like a huge success in my book. Our wedding photographer even said it was the best wedding food she’d ever had (she’s been doing weddings for a long time!) Addie and her team made us feel like we’d known them forever and I am forever grateful for them!!!

Addie and the From Scratch team were delightful to work with. Friendly, responsive, helpful, and made a DELICIOUS MEAL for all of our guests. We loved having them cater our wedding!

From Scratch Catering is an amazing caterer that I would recommend to anyone that listens! It has been a week since our wedding and I am still getting compliments on how amazing the food is. It was the best food ever, and every worker at From Scratch Catering took care of the details and made everything easy for the couple! They were responsive and always answered the questions we had. They were so helpful in picking our food, linens, and plates and everyone was so nice. I would recommend this to everyone that wants amazing food at their wedding!!!

We enjoyed every minute of working with From Scratch Catering. Addie was always responsive to our questions. We had 5 caterer tastings and after our tasting with From Scratch there was no question of who we would select for our wedding dinner. Addie was so accomodating on the day of our wedding with making a change for one of our guests, adding extra meals for guests that came last minute, making sure my husband and I had appetizers waiting for us at our table and checking on us throughout the night. All of the food was amazing, we got many compliments throughout the night! We couldn’t have asked for a better catering team to be a part of our day. Highly recommend for any catering event!

We used From Scratch as our wedding caterer. Addie and her family were great to work with. Their food selections are unique and everything is delicious! Our guests are still talking about it two months later! I loved that everything is homemade and it is a family run company. Their display at our reception was beautiful! We will definitely be using From Scratch again in the future for any events we need catered!

Where to begin. If I could give From Scratch 10,000 stars I would. Every single interaction we had with Addie and her mother was professional, responsive, and EXTREMELY helpful. Addie was so much more than a caterer. She handled the linens, helped me order my glassware, and was the point of contact for anything related to the dining experience. (This is NOT common - most caterers will make you handle your own linens, glassware, or if you want anything else special on the table). Addie responded to my MANY, many (and sometimes dumb) questions within a day. She provided her opinion when I asked and always had a smile on her face. They always went the extra mile. For example, this was the first time they had a wedding in our venue, so they scheduled a special appointment to meet with the venue to ensure everything would be set up appropriately, accurately, and on schedule. That wasn't necessary for them to do, but they did it because they wanted to ensure our experience was perfect. When we came in for our tasting it was honestly one of the best experiences I had throughout the planning process! They had a small table set up with candles and made you feel special. You weren't just another wedding to them. Oh, and the FOOD. Their food is simply AMAZING. We received so many compliments from all of our guests. Pro tip: Go with the Trendy Chopped Salad (the dressing is to DIE for) and the Tortellini with Peas and Prosciutto. You will not be disappointed! It is not your standard wedding food. It's flavorful and unique from many other weddings we went to. I honestly wish I could have another wedding just so I could work with Addie and her family again. I cannot recommend them more. They were a key reason our day was as perfect as it was! RUN, don't walk to book them for your upcoming wedding.

From Scratch Catering (FSC) is without a doubt the BEST caterer in the greater Milwaukee area. They are family-owned and operated, have INCREDIBLE cuisine (all made from scratch of course), and their staff is beyond friendly and professional. Donna is truly gifted and Addie is wonderful to work with! They treat you like family! I hired them for my wedding and they executed everything beautifully and beyond my expectations. Addie was so great in helping bring my visions to life too! The rentals, linens, and china/flatware were all coordinated by FSC, which was so helpful! From serving their famous almond tea as our welcome drink to passed appetizers to our fully plated dinner service and everything in between, their team never missed a beat. The moment I walked in for a private tasting a year prior I knew they were the ones that would make the big day so special. I even partnered with them to cater my bridal shower. The ladies who attended were raving about the food that they could not wait to eat more of their creations at the wedding. My wedding guests were highly impressed with the white glove service and were blown away by how delicious the food was. Typical "wedding food" does not exist in FSC's menu options! No one compares to FSC and I hope to partner with them again for future event needs!

From Scratch Catering, and Addie and Donna in particular, made my bridal shower the most beautifully memorable day! From Scratch Catering not only facilitates stunning wedding setups and incredible food, but is also available for your small party needs such as a bridal shower or small gatherings. My shower was stunning from the linens, to the Bloody Mary bar, to the multiple level charcuterie set up. Not only is the food the most delicious thing you will eat, but Addie and From Scratch will do beginning to end set up/ take down of all of your wedding/shower needs. She coordinated tables. Linens, decor, drinks, and food. It truly was a full service event and I could not have asked for a more stunning set up! Addie and her family are also the most kindhearted, loving, and thoughtful people you could hire to help you with all your wedding needs. I would never look any other place for any service related to planning an event. Do not hesitate to book with From Scratch, you will never make a better decision!

Addie was a huge part of our wedding with the catering, and I wouldn't have changed a thing about it! We had to change our location with COVID, which meant we had to find a new caterer within 2 months of our wedding date! We picked From Scratch as they took what we originally had and recreated it, which made the process so easy! They were there for all my questions and made me feel calm as planning a wedding during a pandemic was the easiest thing to do! We even heard great reviews from our wedding guests months after the wedding! We went to another wedding a couple months after ours and when people heard it was the same caterer they were pumped for dinner!

We worked with Addie throughout our whole process and she is incredible. We rescheduled our wedding due to COVID, and she was there every step of the way. We have gotten so many complements on our dinner- from the appetizers to our late night snacks, everyone raved about the food and the amazing service. One personal favorite moment is when my husband and I were sitting at our table and Addie dropped off our desert and coffee, knowing how difficult it is for the bride and groom to enjoy their own meals! Everything was amazing. I can't recommend them enough.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Addie, Donna and the entire staff at From Scratch. Addie was so patient with all our last minute guest changes even on the day of just 30mins before serving dinner. Our guests are still raving about the meal they were served and how moist everything was. The bride and groom did not get a chance to enjoy any of the appetizers during the cocktail hour, but Addie made sure to save some for them to have with their dinner. It was the little things that meant a lot. Planning a wedding during a pandemic wasn’t easy, but thanks to Addie and From Scratch our wedding was flawless! We've been working with Addie and From Scratch for almost 2 years since we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. From the tasting to the day of, the food was delicious and I felt Addie had my back. When one small thing went wrong (out of their control), she already had a solution figured out before she even told me about it. Many guests raved about the food and Addie was so on top of my needs all day (as the bride). They were very cognizant of food allergies / dietary restrictions of guests and wedding party (vegetarian, gluten, etc). I even used them a few more times for friends baby showers. We had a brunch wedding and everyone was in love with the idea, the quiche, the rustic hashbrowns, etc. The presentation of the food was quite good too and it felt like the line moved fast. I had moved 800 miles away from Wisconsin during wedding planning, but I felt was taking couple pics post ceremony so I wouldn't starve - now that is service. Even their day of support staff was warm and kind. John & I would like to thank all of the catering staff at From Scratch for our wedding this past weekend ( Sunday). We couldn’t have done it without you guys! From the food, to the staff presence, to the ease of planning…. This company does it all! I had the luxury of consuming this catering companies food at a friends wedding and I immediately knew I wanted them for my own wedding even though I was single ( lol) . It was THAT GOOD. Addie and her mom are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!. When we had to postpone our wedding due to covid (we found out 2.5 weeks before our original date). Addie went above and beyond to make sure I mentally was doing ok but also was very quick to respond to all my questions. She was very upfront about the day and what that looks like. Their food is BEYOND amazing. Everyone at our wedding fell in love with everything but their homemade Mac and Cheese was by far the front runner of the guests. Addie made sure to check on my husband and I throughout the dinner service and slightly after for Dessert. My family made homemade Greek desserts, Addie and her team went over the moon to make sure that all these desserts were filled out on the stands and helped put them away at the end of the night. No water glass was left empty and honestly, everything went seamlessly with the From Scratch team. My husband and I will for sure be making a special stop at their shop for some more Mac and Cheese! We are so grateful we moved forward with this team. They can be a little more pricey then some other vendors….but you get so much more with the From Scratch team then others! From Scratch Catering provided such a beautiful presentation and delicious food for our small wedding. We were absolutely blow away by the food! Everything was so incredibly delicious and everyone said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. They delivered everything and set it up perfectly which made it so much easier on us. Best food ever had at a wedding. The brussell sprout casserole would even make brussell sprout haters love them. Wonderful mashed potatoes and the tenderest pork loin. The even set up a mini buffet for the kids with kid friendly food like mac n cheese. Plenty of staff but very discreet. Beautiful decorations on the buffet and desert table. Every guest commented that this was not typical wedding food and they so enjoyed it.

From Scratch was wonderful to work with! Not only were they hands on and creative, they were very supportive and diligent in making sure everything ran smoothly at our venue. Our guests loved our food, and so did we!

We had an absolutely incredible experience working with From Scratch for our recent December wedding. We had all intentions of testing out a few caterers as everyone says “it’s the best part of wedding planning”…welp…From Scratch was our first stop and the rest was history! We worked with Addie, who from the first call to discuss our vision for the day and menu, right up until our wedding day, made the entire process seamless. There are so many decisions that need to be made regarding the food and catering and her insight was extremely helpful and honest. We felt like we were working with family who cared just as much about our guest’s experience as we did. Fast forward to the day of, the food and service were incredible. The amount of compliments we received about the food was unbelievable (haven’t you kind of come to expect wedding food to be so so?)! Trust me, not the case with From Scratch…from hearing our guests say the starter salad was the best salad they’ve ever had to others tracking down the staff to get Donna’s recipe for the vegetarian tart, we got compliments all night long…and we still hear about how great everything was, is there anything better than that?! Thank you Addie and Donna, and the entire From Scratch team, for helping to make our day so perfect!

We chose From Scratch because we heard amazing things about their mac n cheese. We were looking for a casual and delicious meal since we both love and appreciate some good food! From Scratch totally delivered the perfect meal for our big day! They worked with us from the very beginning to figure out exactly what we wanted for food and what we needed from them on the day. The only thing better than the delicious food was the presentation! Even the salad was beautiful and looked so good. All of our guests raved about the food for weeks and told us it was the best wedding food they ever had. We are so happy we chose them, they definitely exceeded our expectations!
