our decision. The meal was so elegantly presented, and it was absolutely delicious - very elevated yet still within our budget. So many of our guests told us that it was some of the best wedding food they had ever had. Throughout the planning process, Addie, Emmie and Donna were so helpful and patient with all of my questions and concerns (of which there were many) and we always felt like we were in the most capable hands. The in-person tasting was so elegant and after leaving us alone for a few minutes to try each dish, Donna asked us for any and all feedback and were willing to make tweaks based on our preference, and they also provided a to-go order tasting when we wanted to try a few different options. On the day, the staff coordinated our wedding so flawlessly, and got each table through the buffet quickly. They were so friendly and easy to work with, which made the food aspect of our wedding such a breeze. They were more than happy to accommodate all dietary restrictions and kids meals, which was so great because we had a diverse group of eaters. They also catered my bridal shower with the most incredible brunch spread. We can’t recommend them enough!!!

They took time to get to know us, our vision, our story, and our dreams for our wedding day. Our tasting was top notch. The entire process was simple and easy. They were flexible and so easy to work with. And when it came to the wedding day, we were stunned. The portion sizes were insane. The food was beautifully displayed. And it absolutely floored our guests. Most guests (and even some staff!) said that it was the best food they had ever eaten at a wedding. Thank you so much for an unforgettable evening!

Dinner favorites were the Beef Tenderloin with a Mushroom & Gorgonzola sauce (we are beef snobs) and the best Crimini Mushroom and Butternut Squash Lasagna. Probably the best lasagna we’ve ever had. My guests raved over our late night food selection which was a Chicago Style Hot Dog bar. My father is very hard to please and said it was the best wedding food he’s ever had. The owner grows her own produce and herbs for her recipes and that was a big selling point for us. Don’t hesitate contacting this family for your wedding needs. They will go above and beyond for you.

. The automated messages and copy-and-paste responses made us feel like we were a number to them. It was SO different with From Scratch. Addie and Donna were the first 2 we talked to; they were so wonderful. They take so much pride in their food but also in their service. Every other place we found felt like a mass production. From Scratch makes everything "from scratch" using vegetables and herbs from their garden and meats sourced from locals. The flavors in the food were unmatched- we received SO many compliments on it and there wasn't a single leftover. They did our appetizers as well- phenomenal and loved that their servers made sure the bride and groom got some from every tray :) We did buffet style, which really wasn't what we wanted at all, but because the food was so good during our food tasting, we were willing to settle with buffet. They made the buffet look beautiful- decor, candles, flowers, just a beautiful presentation. Their staff made sure water glasses were full during dinner as well. They also did our mini desserts- they were out of this world. I love the concept of their business. Support small and local. Would book them over and over again!!

Working with Addie made the planning stress-free and she was accommodating for any changes we needed throughout the process. Dietary restrictions for us and our guests were not an issue at all. The menu is vast, but they do an amazing job helping you figure out what you like and allow you to make changes to your liking. Everything is fresh and it tastes like a homemade meal. You can tell these ladies love what they do. Our guests continuously raved about the food all night and into the next morning. People especially loved the salad with the warmed bacon maple dressing. They had numerous gluten free options, and truly helped make our day absolutely perfect. From Scratch was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

They guided us through food selections, pairing, rentals (linens, napkins, cutlery and plates), and helped walk us through their entire process from start to finish. We chose: Passed Appetizers - Bruschetta & beef tenderloin on a toasted crostini. Antipasta - Trendy chopped salad & bread basket Entree - Lemon chicken with capers & rosemary, stuffed beef tenderloin with marsala sauce, garlic smashed potatoes and roasted root vegetables First off, the food was amazing, even in large quantities it still tasted exactly like our taste test meal. The service was so quick during our wedding - within 15 mins everyone had their plates. They took special care of those who had dietary restrictions and even handled a couple dietary preferences (I - the bride, am a very picky eater). We had so many people comment on how amazing the food was, this even extended to requesting/special ordering their salad dressing for a couple guests. We plan to order this meal again for two for our 1 year anniversary. The family and staff from, From Scratch played a large part in making our day absolutely seamless. Thank you all so much!!

From the moment we stepped into their shop for our tasting, we immediately felt welcomed and knew that these were people who truly care about serving the highest quality of food. On the day of our wedding, we had a plated service for ~160 guests. Addie and her team made the entire dinner service seamless - from plating, to serving, to cleaning up. They truly have it figured out down to a science. We cannot recommend From Scratch Catering enough for any and all wedding catering needs.

So it was a no-brainer for my husband and I to book From Scratch Catering. I worked with Addie for figuring out our hot chocolate bar, cocktail hour and dinner options. So many options are available to you, including the fact that they can make whatever it is you ask of them. My on-site wedding coordinator was Emmie. Both her and her staff were amazing. Things ran smoothly with zero complaints. To this day, we're still hearing from our wedding guests how amazing the food was. I will ALWAYS recommend From Scratch to anyone who asks me.

The entire planning process was easy and clear, and as soon as we had our tasting we knew we made the right choice. We ended up selecting a few items for our menu that we didn't even taste, and our expectations were blown out of the water. The brussels sprouts au gratin and the tomato/onion/cheese tart were absolute smash hits. The food, the service, the experience, all a 10/10. I can't recommend From Scratch enough! I think every single guest at our reception complimented the food, and my husband and I couldn't have been happier with our dinner experience for our wedding. Thank you From Scratch family!!!

Addie was so accomodating on the day of our wedding with making a change for one of our guests, adding extra meals for guests that came last minute, making sure my husband and I had appetizers waiting for us at our table and checking on us throughout the night. die was so much more than a caterer. She handled the linens, helped me order my glassware, and was the point of contact for anything related to the dining experience. (This is NOT common - most caterers will make you handle your own linens, glassware, or if you want anything else special on the table). Addie responded to my MANY, many (and sometimes dumb) questions within a day. She provided her opinion when I asked and always had a smile on her face. They always went the extra mile. For example, this was the first time they had a wedding in our venue, so they scheduled a special appointment to meet with the venue to ensure everything would be set up appropriately, accurately, and on schedule. That wasn't necessary for them to do, but they did it because they wanted to ensure our experience was perfect. When we came in for our tasting it was honestly one of the best experiences I had throughout the planning process! They had a small table set up with candles and made you feel special. You weren't just another wedding to them. Oh, and the FOOD. Their food is simply AMAZING. We received so many compliments from all of our guests. Pro tip: Go with the Trendy Chopped Salad (the dressing is to DIE for) and the Tortellini with Peas and Prosciutto. You will not be disappointed! It is not your standard wedding food. It's flavorful and unique from many other weddings we went to. I honestly wish I could have another wedding just so I could work with Addie and her family again. I cannot recommend them more. They were a key reason our day was as perfect as it was! RUN, don't walk to book them for your upcoming wedding.

From serving their famous almond tea as our welcome drink to passed appetizers to our fully plated dinner service and everything in between, their team never missed a beat. The moment I walked in for a private tasting a year prior I knew they were the ones that would make the big day so special. I even partnered with them to cater my bridal shower. The ladies who attended were raving about the food that they could not wait to eat more of their creations at the wedding. My wedding guests were highly impressed with the white glove service and were blown away by how delicious the food was. Typical "wedding food" does not exist in FSC's menu options! No one compares to FSC and I hope to partner with them again for future event needs!

My shower was stunning from the linens, to the Bloody Mary bar, to the multiple level charcuterie set up. Not only is the food the most delicious thing you will eat, but Addie and From Scratch will do beginning to end set up/ take down of all of your wedding/shower needs. She coordinated tables. Linens, decor, drinks, and food. It truly was a full service event and I could not have asked for a more stunning set up! Addie and her family are also the most kindhearted, loving, and thoughtful people you could hire to help you with all your wedding needs. I would never look any other place for any service related to planning an event. Do not hesitate to book with From Scratch, you will never make a better decision!

lt Addie had my back. When one small thing went wrong (out of their control), she already had a solution figured out before she even told me about it. Many guests raved about the food and Addie was so on top of my needs all day (as the bride). They were very cognizant of food allergies / dietary restrictions of guests and wedding party (vegetarian, gluten, etc). I even used them a few more times for friends baby showers. We had a brunch wedding and everyone was in love with the idea, the quiche, the rustic hashbrowns, etc. The presentation of the food was quite good too and it felt like the line moved fast. I had moved 800 miles away from Wisconsin during wedding planning, but I felt was taking couple pics post ceremony so I wouldn't starve - now that is service. Even their day of support staff was warm and kind. Would absolutely recommend them for other Wisconsin brides.... our guests from the East and West Coasts had nothing but good things to say! confident they would deliver and they did. What a Fan favorite! Planning a wedding is hard, especially during a pandemic, and From Scratch made everything easy and worry free. They were beyond accommodating with the change of date. sure I mentally was doing ok but also was very quick to respond to all my questions. She was very upfront about the day and what that looks like. Their food is BEYOND amazing. Everyone at our wedding fell in love with everything but their homemade Mac and Cheese was by far the front runner of the guests. Addie made sure to check on my husband and I throughout the dinner service and slightly after for Dessert. My family made homemade Greek desserts, Addie and her team went over the moon to make sure that all these desserts were filled out on the stands and helped put them away at the end of the night. No water glass was left empty and honestly, everything went seamlessly with the From Scratch team. My husband and I will for sure be making a special stop at their shop for some more Mac and Cheese! We are so grateful we moved forward with this team. They can be a little more pricey then some other vendors….but you get so much more with the From Scratch team then others!
