For full service (including set up and tear down), she kept it very reasonable and was willing to work with our budget, which we appreciated. he has an incredible eye for all the details and has the most beautiful florals. As a florist, she also has a really amazing assortment of products that can be rented and utilized for the day off. She cleaned everything up and took all the inventory of hers that she used with her! It was SO helpful to not have to add that to our post-wedding day to-do list. I also really enjoyed the range of her products. Anything from rustic farm to black-tie, Gina has you covered! Gina delivered the most gorgeous set of floral decorations and bouquets that perfectly resembled a warm summer sunset, it was a dream come true. I also really appreciated how communicative, flexible, and professional Gina was the entire time we worked together. She never tried to over sell or up-sell us on anything that we didn't need and she always helped serve up ways to bring our vision to life but stay within our budget. She was also incredibly well-priced. I found this to be rare with wedding florists. Gina was a vendor that took stress and tasks OFF my plate not add to it. Gina did more than just create and deliver the flower arrangements though. She put in the extra effort to make sure everything was perfect. She helped to make sure everyone knew how to put on their boutonnieres (and was prepared with a spare just in case). She stuck around to make sure all was well and everything was set up correctly. And she was helpful during tear down to make sure guests were able to take flowers home if they wanted.
Months later and I still get compliments about how gorgeous our wedding flowers were and I couldn’t agree more! Thank you, Gina, for delivering the bright garden look of my dreams!

The planning process was easy and she works really closely with you on the overall vision, asking questions, and iterating on everything to help bring things to life. y, I just can't stop swooning over them. Due to COVID we had to have a small backyard wedding so things were a bit more DIY than we'd originally planned. Then rain caused us to need to change to plan B. Gina was a smooth operator and was ready for anything. My mother commented how sweet Gina was the day of the wedding, how helpful (she added a few extras here and there along with some ribbon I'd left behind). The florals were the quintessential cherry on the cake of our beautiful day.

Gina knows so much about flowers and was able to help guide us to learn what was in season and in the color palette we were looking for. She even took the time to custom order foliage that we had in fallen in love with but we couldn't source locally given the weather. The day of our wedding she made time to custom label the pieces for each member of the wedding party and drop them off at our hotel. With the help of her diligent team they set up our extensive floral décor and even provided rentals for other décor elements like the alter, candles and centerpieces. Gina was a lifesaver arriving early to set up everything up, moving floral elements between wedding sites with a limited amount of time and returning at the end of the night to help break all of the elements down.

r wedding. Gina come up with many ideas to help create the perfect setting for both the ceremony and reception while staying within our budget. She seemed very enthusiastic about working with us and told us she would send a quote right away. My daughter and I left the meeting feeling very excited and looked forward to hearing from Gina soon! 9 days went by and we hadn't heard a word from Gina. I emailed her asking for the quote. I also asked her if she was still interested in doing the floral arrangements for our daughter's wedding. We received a terse message from Gina the next day saying that she would get to us soon and that August was a really busy month for weddings. 6 days later, I reached out to Gina again, hoping for some sort of explanation. We never heard from her again. I can’t tell you how disappointed we were in her lack of communication, honesty and professionalism. We have since engaged a florist to do the floral arrangements for our daughter’s wedding. We would not recommend using Gina or From the Ground Up Floral for any event that needs floral arrangements.

Gina provided us on our wedding day. My bouquet…ugh I can’t talk about it enough. The color palette looked perfect, each flower was beautiful picked and the vines and other pieces placed in there all complimented one another. It’s like she placed each flower in my hair piece with my features in mind because they laid perfectly in just the right spots. The triangle arbor she provided?! You guys. And the flowers and greenery placed on it was to die for! Not to mention her generosity, she had extra greenery from a previous event and offered it to us at no cost and it completely pulled our event together. Her thoughtfulness and passion she puts into each event is unmatched and I truly feel she was the perfect fit for our wedding.

She made it easy to schedule our first facetime and the first meeting she asked me questions to get an idea of what we were wanting. Gina sent me our first proposal right away and I could tell from the inspo pictures she attached that she listened to my ideas and was going to be spot on with what I was wanting. She was more than spot on she was above and beyond! The florals were so much better than I could have imagined! My bouquet was so detailed, it even had little raspberries in it! I LOVED IT! When I got to the venue on the day of wedding, I was blown away! From the bouquets to the centerpieces, everything was gorgeous! We received so many compliments and from the few centerpieces our guests didn't take, we ended up using for our post-wedding brunch the next day.
Gina was also super flexible - I emailed her a couple weeks prior to our wedding asking if she could create an archway for the ceremony and it was no problem at all! The archway was beautiful and even ended up getting moved to our guestbook "photobooth" area for the reception. It was a great backdrop and everyone took pictures in front of it. :)

On the day of, I was actually in a not so great mood due to a few factors not quite fitting into place, but then when I walked into our venue and saw all the work Gina had done I was instantly happy. The blooms were plush and healthy, I had told her I wanted greenery but nothing too wild and she delivered! My bouquet looked relatively large, but actually was quite light simply (I think) because of the plumpness of the blooms. The variety she used also really took my breath away.
