AMAZING! That's the first thing I have to say!! Super professional, great food with a big variety of choices, awesome milkshakes, and the kindest most personable owner. If you are having a low key DIY wedding I would definitely recommend From the Ground Up food trucks! They have 2 food trucks so you can pick 2 different menus then for a little extra per person, one truck and switch to an ice cream truck. The kids and adults loveddd the milkshakes and we got some super cute photos of us with them instead of a cake cutting. James, the owner, was so easy to work with from the first phone call, to the walk through (where he even helped me more a couple tables for photos) to the day of the event. It was so cool seeing him in the truck and saying hi to him day of since he felt like a close friend by then! TLDR great food, great people, great experience

Our wedding reception at From the Ground Up's cafe was amazing and I could not have asked for a better experience! The food was wonderful--we heard lots of comments from guests saying how much they loved it. As a person with serious allergies, they were super accommodating and careful to make sure I had no issues! The staff was kind, attentive, and welcoming. The inside of the cafe is so cute and well decorated (I love the dark wood tables), it's a perfect intimate setting. We were also able to take photos using the grounds outside! I would highly recommend their cafe if you're planning a wedding or other event.

From The Ground Up is the Hudson Valley's first mobile cafe. Our mainstays are sandwiches, soups, salads, and freshly-brewed espresso beverages. We also have a great range of menus and can create a custom menu for your wedding dining. We're happy to draw on culinary styles such as classic American, barbecue, Southwestern, Hawaiian, Latin American, and more. From The Ground Up offers you a menu tasting ahead of your wedding day. On the big day itself, we can deliver, set up, and clean up your meal. We offer passed appetizers, chef stations, buffets, family-style dining, and seated meals. If you or your guests have dietary requirements, we will work to accommodate these. We can provide dish options that are vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, kosher, nut-free, sugar-free, or organic.

Liana was able to think on the fly and adapt our menu last minute to keep us within budget based on the venue kitchen available. Day-of staff was on top of it, and my husband and I never had to worry about a thing—they handled 120+ guests without issue! Highly recommend!
