If you are looking to incorporate some beautiful live music into your event, we recommend Front Range Strings! We knew we wanted to do something different for our wedding ceremony and adding live strings was exactly what we envisioned for our mountain forest wedding.
They have the option to request a specific song for them to learn, which allowed us to add a personalized song to walk down the aisle to and made the day even more special.
They do have some specific requirements for weather and temperature in their contract which is important to pay attention to as we had an outdoor wedding in the fall in Colorado. But even with some rain right before the ceremony, they were still more than willing to play (under the tent we provided!) for our ceremony! We were so grateful!
We also hired them to play through cocktail hour which was such an elevated and elegant experience as well. They have a long list of songs in their repertoire that we also were able to pick specifics from to curate the ideal playlist for our cocktail hour. If you’re looking for some wonderful live music for your wedding or event, Front Range Strings is a great choice!

Tori enjoys a versatile career as a freelance violinist, recording artist, and orchestral musician. She has performed with the Vancouver, Charlotte, Charleston, Knoxville, Eugene, and Austin Symphony Orchestras. She has also played with the Carolina Ballet, Central City Opera, and the Colorado Music Festival. She is now a member of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic.

At the last minute, our officiant realized she was supposed to be speaking during a whiskey ceremony that we also had selected music for – the musicians were able to quickly adjust and play softly in the background so she was still able to speak as well. Tori was SO easy to work with, and incredibly responsive. Due to COVID, I had a nearly two-year wedding planning process with two reschedules. Tori was incredibly accommodating and not only honored the original prices in our contract (signed in 2019, wedding ended up being in 2021), but also did not charge any type of rescheduling fee. We are so glad we chose Front Range Strings – we 100% recommend!

Our venue required 2 gondola rides and the musicians had no problem carrying and setting up at each site (we had them for both ceremony and cocktail hour music). Front Range Strings has a series of musical programs to choose from (their website features clips of each piece of music), and the musicians are incredibly talented. My mother remarked at how obvious it was that they love to play music together, as they continued to play after our ceremony had ended and while the wedding party remained in the area for photographs.
