The founder of this company grew up in the bakery industry. Their mother was a passionate baker, which led her and the founder’s father to establish their own business, called Jimmie’s Bakery. After the two of them retired in 2008, the founder realized the continued demand for exceptional wedding cakes and treats, and along with their loved ones, began Frosted Cakery. With care for artistry, these professionals delight in crafting delectable sweets that leave a lasting impression.
Cakes are customized at Frosted Cakery, from the flavor to the visual elements, to suit the clients’ needs. Through tastings and consultations, the team helps couples determine their ideal wedding cake. They are able to bake and sculpt cakes, cupcakes, and a range of other desserts, like cookies and strawberry pizzas. Dietary restrictions, such as gluten and dairy-free as well as vegan, can also be accommodated. Delivery and setup services are available as well.

behind the Tower District location and we really wanted to incorporate those early days of our relationship into the big day. The cake itself was beautiful and delicious. We chose honey butter and lemon as the flavors and guests loved both! We had so many people taking pictures of the cake which was the perfect combination of our inspiration photo and made for a great backdrop to our sweetheart's table.
The customer service was spotty. We had a great cake tasting and we left the appointment confident that they understood our vision. A few days after the final payment was made I checked-in via email to confirm our flavors see if there was any additional questions. I never received a response. My mom called both locations and never was able to talk to someone about our cake. My planner also emailed and called. Finally, our planner go ahold of someone who claimed to have left me several voicemails which was simply untrue. They finally called me and once again claimed they had left voicemails but my call log showed that this was the first call I had from them. I was very nervous that the cake would just not show up on the day of, but my wedding planner added them to her follow-up list and confirmed all the details so I didn't have to worry about it anymore. Without my planner that interaction over the phone would have sent me into full-blown panic mode.
In the end, the cake was perfect! I just wish their communication was as great.

, especially their cupcakes. I have always known that I wanted them for my wedding. I made sure to book them way in advance as I know they are very popular. They were very responsive when inquiring about setting up a meeting and flexible with accommodating our requests. They had such a great gallery on their website that it was easy to choose one of those cakes for our wedding. It was absolutely perfect and delicious!

We chose a small 6" cake (for us to cut) and an assortment of cupcakes for our guests (Salted Caramel, Red Velvet, Vanilla Bean Raspberry) and everything was perfect. On the day of our wedding, our cake and cupcakes were delivered and set up right on time, they matched the coral color I was wanting perfectly on our cake and the cupcakes were definitely one of the big hits of the evening. icing in Fresno. There is no doubt in our mind that they make the best wedding cakes and cupcakes around. If you are looking for a sweet treat or even a perfect and extremely beautiful and to top it off, quite delicious, then the Frosted Cakery is your place. We gave specific instructions for what we wanted for our wedding cake, and it was beyond what we dreamed of. At the end of the night, there was not a slice left. We even, ate the top of the cake when we got home from the Honeymoon instead of saving it till the next year. It was too good to pass up! Thank you Frosted Cakery for meeting and exceeding our expectations!

I was going to use Frosted Cakery for my wedding cake, but they did not want to make my cake. At least that is how my husband and I felt.

ess than 15 minutes, and did not have anything to do with the cake flavors. The wedding being on a Monday meant that we would have to pick up the cake Saturday. Ok that would be fine.
I told the lady I wanted a naked cake, and she told me it would be ugly, and she would not make it. We had a back up plan of a triforce cake, we had a themed wedding. The lady asked us if our guests would get it, because a cake like that would not look good in her opinion. She was more concerned with us having a cake that she approved of, and not what we wanted.
At this point she said she would call us wit h a price for the cake. There was not talk of flavors. That was the point that was most important to me. When we asked about the cake flavors we were told to just by cupcakes. That we did, and I was not impressed. I have been baking since I was able to walk, and have won many awards for my cakes so I know a thing or two about baking. These cupcakes, we tried 4, were overcooked and had an excessive amount of frosting. I had them with my in-laws and they agreed that it was like they used the frosting to cover up the poor cake.
Again the cakes were pretty, and if that is all you want this is your place.

the cupcakes were. The flavor was incredible and the design of the cupcake tiers were beautiful. They dust the icing with a special glitter that gave them that extra sparkle and they photographed well. I would recommend this bakery to anyone looking for quality desserts.
