Their mother was a passionate baker, which led her and the founder’s father to establish their own business, called Jimmie’s Bakery. After the two of them retired in 2008, the founder realized the continued demand for exceptional wedding cakes and treats, and along with their loved ones, began Frosted Cakery. With care for artistry, these professionals delight in crafting delectable sweets that leave a lasting impression. Cakes are customized at Frosted Cakery, from the flavor to the visual elements, to suit the clients’ needs. Through tastings and consultations, the team helps couples determine their ideal wedding cake. They are able to bake and sculpt cakes, cupcakes, and a range of other desserts, like cookies and strawberry pizzas. Dietary restrictions, such as gluten and dairy-free as well as vegan, can also be accommodated. Delivery and setup services are available as well.

The cake was incredible! The service was lacking. We chose Frosted Cakery as our cake vendor because when my husband and I first moved in together we lived in an apartment right behind the Tower District location and we really wanted to incorporate those early days of our relationship into the big day. The cake itself was beautiful and delicious. We chose honey butter and lemon as the flavors and guests loved both! We had so many people taking pictures of the cake which was the perfect combination of our inspiration photo and made for a great backdrop to our sweetheart's table. The customer service was spotty. We had a great cake tasting and we left the appointment confident that they understood our vision. A few days after the final payment was made I checked-in via email to confirm our flavors see if there was any additional questions. I never received a response. My mom called both locations and never was able to talk to someone about our cake. My planner also emailed and called. Finally, our planner go ahold of someone who claimed to have left me several voicemails which was simply untrue. They finally called me and once again claimed they had left voicemails but my call log showed that this was the first call I had from them. I was very nervous that the cake would just not show up on the day of, but my wedding planner added them to her follow-up list and confirmed all the details so I didn't have to worry about it anymore. Without my planner that interaction over the phone would have sent me into full-blown panic mode. In the end, the cake was perfect! I just wish their communication was as great.

Hands down best cake in town. This is a local vendor that is near my sister's house. Over the years we always would treat ourselves to there amazing and delicious assorted desserts, especially their cupcakes. I have always known that I wanted them for my wedding. I made sure to book them way in advance as I know they are very popular. They were very responsive when inquiring about setting up a meeting and flexible with accommodating our requests. They had such a great gallery on their website that it was easy to choose one of those cakes for our wedding. It was absolutely perfect and delicious!

We wanted to find a bakery that does dairy free and does it well since my new husband is allergic to dairy. This led us to Frosted Cakery. We did a small cake and then cupcakes and everything turned out beautiful! They forgot the chocolate filling in the cupcakes but they were still delicious! We would definitely recommend them!

Frosted Cakery is pretty good! Their flavors are elevated and delicious. The reason I gave 4 stars is overall their prices are a bit high for the Fresno market. Overall the color, the design, and the flavor of the cake were on point!

We ordered 4 dozen cupcakes and Chantilly vanilla bean cake as our centerpiece for our small Yosemite . They let us customize the chantilly cake by removing a layer to make it a little shorter and added extra frosting to the outside. Frosted was incredibly easy to order from, the desserts were ready on time and it all tasted amazing!

Everyone loved our dessert table at our wedding! The macaroons, cannolis and kuga were gone so fast! We had several different kinds of cupcakes and a sweetheart cake and everything was delicious. Their table set up was gorgeous, I just cannot say enough amazing things! Thank you Frosted Cakery!

I truly cannot say enough good things about Beverly and her staff at Frosted Cakery! From our initial meeting all the way through our wedding day, everything flowed smoothly and I never had to worry about a thing. We chose a small 6" cake (for us to cut) and an assortment of cupcakes for our guests (Salted Caramel, Red Velvet, Vanilla Bean Raspberry) and everything was perfect. On the day of our wedding, our cake and cupcakes were delivered and set up right on time, they matched the coral color I was wanting perfectly on our cake and the cupcakes were definitely one of the big hits of the evening. Thank you Beverly and everyone at Frosted for making our wedding so sweet! We will definitely be using Frosted for our next big celebration!

This is a review of the Frosted Cakery in the Tower District of Fresno. We were recently married and we decided to go with the Frosted Cakery because they have the hands down, best icing in Fresno. There is no doubt in our mind that they make the best wedding cakes and cupcakes around. If you are looking for a sweet treat or even a perfect and extremely beautiful and to top it off, quite delicious, then the Frosted Cakery is your place. We gave specific instructions for what we wanted for our wedding cake, and it was beyond what we dreamed of. At the end of the night, there was not a slice left. We even, ate the top of the cake when we got home from the Honeymoon instead of saving it till the next year. It was too good to pass up! Thank you Frosted Cakery for meeting and exceeding our expectations!

I absolutely love, love, loved my cake!!! Not only did it look gorgeous, it tasted fantastic. Sooo yummy! I got a three layered cake and thought it may not big enough but it was huge! I would definitely recommend Frosted Cakery. Not only was my cake awesome, I can go in to their bakery and get yummy cupcakes and desserts.

I was going to use Frosted Cakery for my wedding cake, but they did not want to make my cake. At least that is how my husband and I felt. Our consultation for the cake lasted less than 15 minutes, and did not have anything to do with the cake flavors. The wedding being on a Monday meant that we would have to pick up the cake Saturday. Ok that would be fine. I told the lady I wanted a naked cake, and she told me it would be ugly, and she would not make it. We had a back up plan of a triforce cake, we had a themed wedding. The lady asked us if our guests would get it, because a cake like that would not look good in her opinion. She was more concerned with us having a cake that she approved of, and not what we wanted. At this point she said she would call us wit h a price for the cake. There was not talk of flavors. That was the point that was most important to me. When we asked about the cake flavors we were told to just by cupcakes. That we did, and I was not impressed. I have been baking since I was able to walk, and have won many awards for my cakes so I know a thing or two about baking. These cupcakes, we tried 4, were overcooked and had an excessive amount of frosting. I had them with my in-laws and they agreed that it was like they used the frosting to cover up the poor cake. Again the cakes were pretty, and if that is all you want this is your place.

Frosted Cakery just did my wedding cake and groom's cake and both were so good. The cakes were so fresh at the wedding and very beautiful. They are very skilled in the details, they made our cake look like it had lace on it. Our cakes were strawberry marble and chocolate marble.

My cake was exactly what I wanted. I'm taking a star off for when I contacted them a week before to ask about renting a cake stand they returned my call the day before my wedding to come in and look at cake stands and they had told me they were going to call back earlier in the week. They stressed me out by waiting until the last minute and then by asking me if my cake was being delivered.

Frosted Cakery really outdid themselves when it came to designing and making the cupcakes for my wedding. Every person I have talked to since my wedding has commented on how great the cupcakes were. The flavor was incredible and the design of the cupcake tiers were beautiful. They dust the icing with a special glitter that gave them that extra sparkle and they photographed well. I would recommend this bakery to anyone looking for quality desserts.

Our cake turned out absolutely perfect! The design was exactly what I had in mind and the flavors were so yummy! We had very little cake left over and I heard tons of people asking where the cake came from because it so delicious!

I loved my cake, It was 5 tiers and tasted amazing. We had two different flavors and it came out exactly as we imagined. Its so hard to put trust in someone to have the same vision as you and they definitely knew what we wanted.
