They also constructed my Grooms cake which was a life size version of my best friend (french bulldog) wearing a gator jersey. People actually thought it was my dog. I didn't even want to cut it. Cannot say enough about Ashley and her staff at Frostings, if only every business was run like hers and could exceed all expectations!

Also working with the baker at Frosting was an amazing experience....she was so helpful in the decision making process of how much cake I needed as well as what my tastes were for preparation of the cake...they have so many flavors and fillings to choose from. They are the best.

esign. I had a beach wedding in the FL Keys and she suggested doing a Key Lime, Coconut, Mango cupcake flavor. I LOVED the way it turned out. The cupcake tower was truly stunning and better than anything I had ever expected. We still laugh about how quickly the cupcakes went lol. I vote Frostings now and always.

le. We came up with a 7 foot, 5 tier cake, with hundreds of handmade flowers. It's was GORGEOUS and beyond my expectations. Everyone wanted a photo with it, and no one had ever seen a cake so breathtaking. I still get compliments from people who either saw a photo of it, or someone who told them how spectacular it was. It was truly a dream come to life.

services. I had them do a simple vanilla cake with raspberry filling and I have to say it was the most delicious cake I've had! I couldn't have been happier with both the way it looked and the way it tasted! I'll continue to refer them to my clients and will most certainly use them again myself for future cakes. I showed her photos of the cake I wanted and we went over the type of cake I wanted. She told me to email her the photos and all of my wedding details, which I did that day. I received no reply for over a week, so I resent the email to make sure she received it. Still no reply. I called and spoke to the same employee, who said she hadn't received the photos but got the email they were attached to, so I resent the email once more. No response AGAIN. Finally, I spoke with a friend who is very close to the owner of Frosting, and told her my problem. The employee emailed me the next day, apologizing for her delay, which I assumed must have been a miscommunication. All was well; the cake was on schedule and I was happy. In February, my mom and I went back to order a special cake for my bridal shower. There were no communication problems this time, as we made sure to take care of all of the details before we left. I picked up the bridal shower cake at the designated time (30 minutes prior to the start of my bridal shower) and it looked amazing. My mom managed to sneak a taste of the frosting and said it was great. We were really looking forward to it...until we took our first bite. It tasted stale and dry and could have been three days old (it's possible an ingredient was missing). Most of the shower attendees took a couple of bites and tossed their pieces without finishing them. We didn't even save what was left of the cake, we just threw it out. I was so embarrassed. I waited a few days to calm down before I called to state my concerns. The same employee I'd been working with answered. I asked to speak to the owner. She wasn't available (as usual), but the employee asked if she could help. I explained what had happened. She apologized and told me the cake had been baked the morning of my shower, but agreed to give me my money back for the cake. I also cancelled my wedding cake order (there's no way I was going to worry about my wedding cake being stale!) and the employee said she or the owner would call to work out a refund (the cakes were paid for in cash). It took days to get a call back, and it was the employee (not the owner) that called to say she'd mail a check…which I had to call to remind her about when I still hadn’t received it over two weeks later. I finally messaged the owner on Facebook, letting her know that I’d rather tell her about the situation personally than have her read a negative review on Facebook or The Knot or Google…and I didn’t get any response at all. Clearly she doesn’t care about unhappy customers. I think I'll stick with a tried-and-true Publix cake.

We only had one meeting and they took it from there, not even bothering us on the wedding day. We walked into our reception to find a gorgeous masterpiece with absolutely no fuss. The cake was moist and full of flavor. I have tried to find cake similar to theirs but have had absolutely no luck. It is incomparable!

Keeping "IT IS OUR DAY" on our mind, we decided to stick with the original plan of a sundae bar and have a cake pop for each guest at their perspective table to appease the "cake" tradition. As soon as I entered Frostings, I was greeted by Denise and felt a sense of relief as we started talking about the perfect cake pop. After explaining my day and what I envisioned for my wedding and OF COURSE showing her my dress, she told me she understood how I wanted everything to be "elegant," including the cake pops. Even though she did not have any prepared at that moment, she told me she had a cake pop order in the coming week and I could pick up a sample of what she thought I would like a couple of days later. She also shared her thoughts about flavors, colors, and what worked and tasked best. Sure enough, two days later Denise called and told me she had a few cake pops for me to taste (chocolate and vanilla) and possible designs to choose. They were exactly what I was looking for and they tasted incredible. Needless to say, Frostings prepared my cake pops for my wedding, took care of the delivery, set up, and put me at ease! My guests also enjoyed the tasty treats at their seats.

They also surprised my groom with an awesome Harley Davidson, Chocolate Chocolate, groom's cake. He was so surprised! It too was amazing! About three weeks or so later I read an article in our local paper that they were closing and moving out of state. I was to say, at the least shocked. I had attempted to email them, no answer, called and called over and over again. Finally the wife returned my email stating that they were moving after my wedding date and that they would be able to fulfill my cake contract. I was relieved, but something was still nagging at me...Why wouldn't they notify their customers beforehand? I emailed the wife and she finally relented that they had decided to move earlier and that they would not be able to do my cake. At this point we were just a few months out, we were devastated and promptly we dived back in to the search for a new bakery. My sister suggested Frosting, my husband lived out of town at the time, so my sister accompanied me to the tasting. Frosting is what I imagine the inside of a child's wildest sugar dream resembles; candy, ice cream, and cupcakes line the walls. Ashlee and her entire team were instrumental in not only composing the most delectable, fresh, and gorgeously understated cake I'd ever seen; they listened to my requests, offered suggestions, and even special ordered my champagne cake mix. The tasting completely set my mind at ease, in fact what they offered us far surpassed the wares at our original bakery. Frosting's was incredibly easy to work with and not only made my cake and treats beautiful to look at, fifteen minutes after the cake was served, not a piece remained. It was the most incredible combination three tier cake with alternating champagne and chocolate ganache cake with layers of fresh strawberries and raspberries all covered in a whipped, but decadent french vanilla bean icing. We were bowled over by the compliments we received from our guests. I wholeheartedly recommend and praise Frosting for their professionalism, promptness, and genuine care and concern for their customers, whatever the occasion your sweets will always be perfect.

o good there. We ended up going with cupcakes and three different flavors. Our theme was tie dye, they made tie dye frosting for us on some of the cup cakes. They brought them to the reception for us and set them up. It was a wonderful experience and I recommend them to anyone getting married in the Vero Beach area that wants not only a beautiful but also a delicious experience.

d little airplanes out of fondant for the sides and crafted the perfect runway on top of the cake for the little porcelain airplane with a bride and groom in it that we found. Then when we thought it couldn’t get any better they gave us little battery operated runway lights to plug in at either end for the perfect overall look. But that wasn’t even the best part! We’ve been to weddings where the cake tasted like it came from a grocer’s freezer, but Frostings whipped up a white chocolate raspberry cake with butter cream frosting that was out of this world! There wasn’t a half eaten piece left in the house. Every single bite was gobbled up. My wife loves cake and I knew it would all be eaten, so I secretly had a second cake made just for us and had them write on it “More Cake” on it. I snuck it on the flight to Freeport, Grand Bahamas where we had our ceremony. Well unbeknownst to me, she had them make a groomsman cake just for us out of the same flavors as well. And she snuck it in. So Frosting actually made three cakes for our wedding, each one delicious and fresh and beautiful. We’ve bought cupcakes from them every year for my wife’s birthday and any other occasion we can come up with since they’ve opened their doors and this was the first (and second and third) full size cake we had tried. Since then we’ve upped our purchases, calling them every time we get a hankering for decadence. The best place in Vero Beach for all your scrumptious needs!

Ashlee is so talented, she also made bride and groom cupcakes that sat at our table that were adorable, and make engagement ring cookies for all my bridesmaids the day before the wedding. My mother in law also ordered some italian desserts from them for the rehearsal dinner- and everyone raved about them the entire night. I would highly reccomend their services- they were so sweet and creative, and willing to work with you for whatever you want!!
