Choosing Frozen Exposure for our wedding photography/videography needs was one of the best decisions we made! We knew from our initial conversation with her that we were working with a top-notch professional. My husband and I both felt a bit shy and awkward about having to be photographed so much, but Tanya helped us to feel totally relaxed. Within minutes of meeting her for our engagement photoshoot, we were joking with her and enjoying ourselves. We were so pleased with how the engagement photos turned out that we added on videography and photobooth services for our wedding day! On the big day, Tanya and her team were the perfect mix of being relaxed and professional. They took the time to capture so many beautiful shots of every detail of the ceremony and reception. Tanya was extremely generous with her time and her services, even including extra time at the end of our reception to make sure they captured our sparkler exit. It's taken me years to write this review as I was absolutely devastated by our experience with Tanya and Frozen Exposure. I should have known when Tanya, herself, did not show up to our initial meeting and sent her husband (Bobby) instead. A good friend of ours recommended FE and the work we saw was gorgeous, so we went forward and booked them for our wedding photography. We met Tanya for the first time when she did our engagement photos. She was kind, fun, and posed my husband and I beautifully and naturally. When the photos came back, they appeared washed out, and I requested them to be adjusted to show more vibrant and true color. Once adjusted they were exactly as we dreamed. I reached out to Tanya in the months prior to the wedding to discuss details and concerns for our wedding date, to which she had Bobby respond to me. He told me that he handled the business side of things (again odd). We decided to add on videography with a promo they offered. At our initial meeting we were told that if we had videography, there would be 2 photographers, and one person for filming. One photographer (Bobby) to go with my husband, and one to stay with myself (Tanya) as we got ready. The night before our wedding I attempted to contact Tanya to solidify the plans for the next day. There was no answer and no return call. I finally heard from Bobby the morning of the wedding, as I was wrapping up hair and makeup at the salon where I had hoped to have the photographer. They told me they had gone to the hotel where my husband had been, and were going to the venue. This whole time I was under the impression that Bobby was with Tanya. Imagine my surprise when he told me Tanya couldn't make it because of a wedding she did the night before, but that they subcontracted a stranger instead. There was also no third person for video. This was after hair and makeup, on my wedding day, at the venue with no prior notice or discussion. There goes my make up. The person they brought along had her own business, and was not associated with FE outside of my event. The images taken went to Tanya to edit, and they were atrocious. We didn't get images requested. There was one photo of my husband and our children alone. The poses were forced and rigid. There were 3 photos of our first dance, and they were all awful. There was a point where her flash died mid family photos and they kept snapping... and that shows. They weren't edited to brighten. These were not the dreamy, romantic, gorgeous photos I had viewed on her page. These were amateur quality at best. I was devastated. Later on, we were told that Tanya was concerned about how I requested a different style of editing during our engagement shoot, so they brought a different photographer that they thought would "fit my style". I chose FE because of Tanya's ability to capture moments. Her work is beautiful. I have no doubts that our photos would have been gorgeous had she chosen to show up. Her lack of professionalism, remorse, or apology was something I hadn't anticipated. It's for these reasons I could never recommend FE. If you do choose to work with them, make sure the name of your lead photographer is in your contract. Meet the back up in case of emergency. And if your gut tells you to get out of it, just do it. I will live with this regret forever.

As a bride, I felt very comfortable and stress-free with Frozen Exposure as our photographer/videographer. They are wonderful people, lots of fun, and know how to get the job done in a very excellent manner of high quality. Highly recommend you use them for your next wedding or big event!

Frozen Exposure has made all our photography dreams come true. Tanya and her team members have gone above and beyond to provide us with the most memorable photos we could’ve ever asked for. Frozen Exposure did the most fantastic, wonderful, magical job photographing our wedding! I felt like our photographer, Megan, was as excited to be there as I was. And the actual product, hundreds of beautifully taken and edited photos, blew me away. Seriously, I could not have asked for a better experience. My husband and I got the pleasure of working with Frozen Exposure again at a model shoot a month or so after our wedding. We met the company owner, Tanya, and she was just as joyful and dedicated to her craft as Megan. I cannot wait for the next opportunity I get to interact with this incredible company. Tanya and her team did an amazing job at my wedding. They really went above and beyond to get the most amazing shots. We did the video too and got it back last night and it was absolutely perfect. She captured so many beautiful memories. We received our sneak peak photos back after only a couple days and those were perfect too. I highly recommend using Frozen Exposure. We also did an engagement shoot with them on Broadway (which isn’t easy) and she did fantastic with those photos too! I really cannot recommend Tanya and her team enough!

I absolutely adore tonya and her crew they truly dig deep into their work and put their full heart into their photos. Tonya shot our engagement pictures before my husband deployed and got them quickly back to us right before he left as she knew he was leaving shortly after we did our photos. She also shot our wedding and I couldn’t be more obsessed with how it turned out. Our wedding photos and video have gotten nothing but amazing comments!

Tanya and her team were so supportive of our three canceled dates due to Covid from 2020 until our special day in June 2023. Tanya and Megan were accommodating and made photos flow effortlessly. She even ensured I got my requested "special" photo that I had asked for in my final survey before the big day. The photobooth was a huge hit also!! I didn't know what I was looking for in a wedding photographer - there are so many options out there. But Frozen Exposure came through in every possible way and I could not be happier! :) Tanya was amazing to work with the day of - I was worried about not knowing how to "pose" but she made both my husband and me feel really comfortable. When we first started planning our wedding, we knew right away that having photography and videography was a really important element aside from the venue. I was referred to Frozen Exposure (FE) from a good friend who was also a Nashville bride so they already had a leg up. I knew from the moment I first met Tanya on the phone that FE was going to be the perfect choice for us - subject matter experts with a beautiful creative eye, organized and planful, and overall warm and kind people! Tanya and Bobby are a wife and husband team who have been in business together for many years. Their playful yet professional dynamic put you at ease on your wedding day. We had the benefit of working with Tanya for our engagement photos (which I highly recommend as a good way to get to know your photographer before the wedding) so we knew we would be in good hands on our wedding day. My husband and I are naturally awkward picture taking people. It was so nice to have experts to help with posing, creative picture ideas, etc. And they do an amazing job at making you feel comfortable and relaxed. They honestly felt like an extension of our friends and family at our wedding! The back of the camera shots we were shown were incredible and our post-wedding sneak peeks were stunning. We cannot wait to get your final wedding gallery and video so we can relive what ended up being the most perfect day. We also opted for their photo booth which came with a team member to run the booth and print pictures; the booth itself was beautiful as was the photo printout design. Highly recommend if you are looking to add a custom touch to your reception. We had the not so fun task of getting married during a global pandemic. The team at FE went above and beyond with their COVID protocols keeping us, our wedding party, and guests safe. Our wedding ended up being the BEST day, even if there wasn’t a global pandemic. We will have these memories for a lifetime thanks to Frozen Exposure.

We loved working with Tanya! We had our impromptu engagement photos taken by Tanya back in July and our wedding photos this past weekend (October) and her personality is the absolute best and her photos turned out amazing. She will make you feel so comfortable especially if you are not confident in front of a camera. She has the sweetest giggle and "Aweees" and "Ooos" she utters when shooting and it made us enjoy getting our photos taken. Plus she is so funny!

Frozen Exposure was one of the very first vendors I knew I had to have for my wedding after seeing only ONE shot of theirs. Their "light and airy" style was identical to the aesthetic I hoped to create for my wedding day, so I met with Tanya ASAP because I knew I had to lock it down! Tanya and Bobby are an amazing team to work with. The bridal party's hair and makeup ate up some of our photography time, but Tanya and Bobby were ready to roll with the punches right alongside us. They made sure all of our special moments and then some were captures! It didn't feel like we were working with another vendor but instead it felt like we were working with our friends. We loved having Frozen Exposure do our engagement, Christmas, and wedding photos. We met with Bobby and Tanya at a catering event where they had a booth set up. After talking with them, and looking at their photos, we decided they would be a perfect fit to do our wedding photos. We liked that they had multiple styles of photography that they incorporated during the wedding, so that we could have a good general feel of the wedding itself and not just the "setup" shots. We did our engagement shoot with Tanya, and we liked it so much that when our parents wanted to do Christmas pictures we decided to work with Tanya again. We got our Christmas and engagement photos from them on not only and online gallery, with tons of access to the photos to print and download and share, but also on a wood engraved USB drive. This is a great keep sake for us. We haven't gotten the full album from the wedding yet, but we did get our "sneak peak", even before the wedding was over, Bobby and Tanya brought out a computer to show us the pictures so far, and they are great. We got a link to those sneak peak pictures, two days later so we could have some initial pictures to show around. I would highly recommend Frozen Exposure, you won't be disappointed.

Bobby and Tanya are BEYOND AMAZING! We had a destination wedding in Destin, FL and the working with them was such a pleasure! They are incredibly skilled at their craft and easy to work with. Frozen Exposure is second to none in the wedding industry. I feel like I'm almost a 27 Dresses kind of girl. I was a bridesmaid in 11 weddings within 3 years and I remember watching every wedding vendor work during each of those weddings, thinking in my mind, which of these are my dream vendors. Frozen Exposure won that competition hands down. They even had my friend's wedding published in a magazine that is sold at Target- it was AMAZING seeing her face light up when they revealed the magazine to her. Frozen Exposure is all about love and being true. The day my fiance proposed, I will never forget. He know I followed Frozen Exposure's Instagram page, and he had surprised me in hiring them to hide and document him proposing to me so that they could incorporate that proposal into our wedding album and video. We also booked their luxe photobooth which is SUCH a blessing because most other Photo Booths are so gawky and awkward- theirs is so wedding reception perfect and makes the scene look even prettier. I know what it's like to google search for the perfect photographers, videographers, and Photo Booth and wonder what you're getting. It was so scary wondering who would be at our sides on our wedding day capturing moments that go so fast. Please know that I 100% stand behind Bobby and Tanya Macks taking great care of every couple they work with. They are amazing, they don't discriminate, they just love people and that love and passion for what is good and true coupled with their incredible talent that stands the test of time and is custom to fit each couple's needs and style- it just makes them untouchable and one of a kind in the wedding industry. Tanya is amazing. I can't speak enough about awesome she is and her photos are stunning! I have only had the opportunity to do "fun" photos with her when she came to visit New Mexico and haven't be able to book, but can't wait 'til I can! As a groom, I admit that the thought of photography and videography made me nervous. I imagined cameras in our faces and strangers behind them but I was very wrong. It took just a few minutes of talking to Bobby and Tanya on the phone before our wedding (we planned a Bridge Building wedding as a destination wedding from our home in New York) and we instantly felt like they would be a perfect fit as part of our wedding day. We were right. From our hot wedding day to the usd drives and keepsakes they gave us, my wife and I can do nothing but rave about them! We are even hoping to book them for an anniversary session here in Nee York soon! Keep doing what you guys are doing!

We cannot say enough good things about this vendor. Their work is superior, they love what they do, they know how to make a great moment better. Choosing FE will be the best decision you can make.

My husband and I got married on November 4th (almost a month ago now) and rented a Photo Booth from Frozen Exposure, which wasn’t the greatest experience. Him and I both, can NOT believe that we are STILL dealing with them (Bobby & Tanya Macks) and what this situation has turned into. They have not made any attempts to “make this right” with us, like they claimed they would. Still waiting on our print outs too, that they said would be mailed to us... Instead, Bobby & Tanya have done the complete opposite and have taken this to extreme unnecessary levels. They’ve fought and argued with us back and forth through email, constantly throwing the contract that I signed in our faces. We don’t have a problem with the contract. We have a HUGE problem with how they have handled this: Threatening to sue us if we leave a bad review, defaming us on social media, calling us “crazy” and that we were trying to scheme them. They even went as far as having a family member threaten us. My husband and I have NEVER, EVER in our lives been treated this way by ANY vendor and are truly disturbed by their behavior. Out of hundreds of clients they may have had, we truly don’t understand why they have chosen to treat US this way. We also don’t understand why they continue to try and get rid of OUR reviews, wherever we may choose to leave them. It just feels to us that they care much more about their image & 5 star rating than they do people. We are in absolute shock over this and hope that no other couple or family has to go through what we’ve experienced. Frozen Exposure has left a stain on our Wedding day and I wish we never would’ve had them. We have so many friends that just recently got engaged or are getting engaged and we probably would’ve recommended them if they didn’t treat us so poorly. There is NO WAY we will be recommending Frozen Exposure to anyone, EVER. Could our photo booth experience been better? Yes. It went down a few times throughout the night (which apparently it states in the contract that, that could happen) and ended up interfering with special moments at our Wedding. It upset me. It upset my husband. And it even upset some of our guests. The camera was angled too low towards the ground, requiring all of us to stoop down, bend knees, do the splits, etc, to get in the frame of the photo. We have many pictures of our guests heads or hats cut off, which of course, is disappointing. Contract or no contract, the photo booth experience was disappointing. Unfortunately, Bobby and Tanya have taken this much further than it ever needed to go and it’s not just about the Photo Booth anymore. We just want to have our freedom to speak our opinion and leave our reviews of what we experienced without being harassed or threatened by Bobby, Tanya, their family and their friends. We will not be intimidated into NOT leaving a review and we hope no one else will either. This by far has been THE WORST vendor experience.

Other than my husband, choosing Frozen Exposure to document our engagement and wedding is the BEST decision that we made regarding our wedding day! We booked their photography, videography and photobooth package and the way they work together is MAGIC! Tanya and Bobby are fantastic photographers. Our wedding package included engagement photos/video and wedding photos/video. I wasn’t sure about an engagement video but I cried watching it, I loved it so much. This was my first opportunity to see what everyone else saw when it came to our love for each other and it was such a special experience. They were so helpful in planning our wedding. They have an awesome questionnaire that helps get things all in one place and helps them to know exactly what you want and expect from your day. We had some trouble booking other vendors and they had great recommendations for people we ended up working with and loved. Tany and Bobby are relationship and business goals. They work so well together and clearly love each other very much. They are not only skilled photographers but they also have the business side under control as well. I needed their assistance with something right after the wedding and they rushed some stuff to me right away. Having a good relationship with your photographers is incredibly important and we all worked together so well. One of the things I was excited about on the wedding day, aside from getting married, was getting to see Tanya and Bobby again. I felt completely at ease on my wedding day. Tanya and Bobby were a big part of that. They are true professionals. They even kept a big secret about a fireworks display my husband had planned for me. I can’t recommend them enough. They are in high demand so don’t wait around to book them!

Like most couples hours and hours and maybe even days were spent researching and meeting with various vendors when scheduling for our wedding. It was basically love at first sight when we first saw FE’s booth at an event and it was cemented even more when we met and got to know Bobby and Tanya. They are so personable and easy to work with. They way they play off each other and lean on each other to get the vision their clients are looking for put us at ease. They truly are a great team. They were so much fun to work with and let us be us when shooting the engagement photos instead of having to direct every pose and angle. Most importantly they can keep a secret. I planned a professional firework display as a surprise to my wife that only the they, the DJ and venue knew about. She had no idea it was happening and the shots they got were perfect. I can’t thank Bobby and Tanya enough for everything they did to make our special day more than either of us could’ve dreamed. There are other amazing photographers in the middle Tennessee area and FE’s pictures/videos speak for themselves but you will not find a company that can touch the love and passion that FE brings to the table.
