We are so glad that we chose Fruitlands Museum for our wedding. The venue was beautiful and we loved the chance to explore the grounds for our first look and take in the gorgeous s...
unset across the valley during dinner. The staff at Fruitlands was also top notch. Andrea was incredibly helpful in the planning process and helped us think through all the details for the day. On our wedding day, the Fruitlands team handled everything, from setting up decorations to packing everything up, to keeping us on schedule and making sure we started our golden hour photos on time. We didn’t have to worry about a thing; we just got to experience the day and enjoy time with our loved ones. Our guests are still telling us about how helpful everyone at Fruitlands was and how much they loved the food.

ur big day felt seamless and organized. Highly highly highly recommend!!
We had such an incredible day with Fruitlands and Fireside Catering. They were so easy to plan with, and provided us with all of support we needed going into planning. They helped ...
us plan each moment and make sure that we had everything we needed going into the wedding, even small things we wouldn't necessarily have thought of.
We can't say enough great things about Andrea. She did such a great job running our day and keeping things on track for us. As little issues arose, she came up with a plan to fix it and lightly touched base with us to make sure it was okay, but never put anything on our plate that would add stress to our day.
It rained our wedding day, and we were so anxious that we would lose the beautiful ceremony pictures we were planning on and that our cocktail hour cornhole ceremony would have to be canceled. The ceremony actually wound up being even better than we could have hoped for - you could still see the mountains, but we still had our beautiful arch and background. Andrea made sure that adjustments could be made to our cornhole tournament so it could be done under the tent.
Our reception space was converted in minutes after the ceremony, while our guests were inside getting their first drinks. The dinner service was absolutely impeccable. Amanda was our bridal attendant, and she made sure our drinks were flowing and that we got all the food we wanted - our hors d' oeuvres, our dinner, and our dessert. We got so many rave reviews about the food!
My husband and I had an incredible wedding day and we couldn't ask for anything better. Thank you Fruitlands!

ering staff. Laura’s experience planning weddings was very clear throughout the entire process, and it was so helpful to have someone at the venue to communicate with throughout the planning process and to be there the day of to make sure everything went as planned. We were able to enjoy the day because Laura and her team handled everything, and their attention to detail was apparent and very much appreciated! Fireside has an extensive menu to choose from and the food was delicious - we heard from many guests how much they enjoyed their meals. Also, early in the process Laura provided us with a list of recommended vendors and we exclusively used this list and were very happy with all of the vendors we chose. If you are looking for a full service venue with beautiful scenery and views, then Fruitlands is a great place for your wedding!

Fireside Catering is so delicious and all our guests were raving about it. And big shout out to Laura who is the coordinator of the venue! She is absolutely amazing and made our planning process so stress free and fun. We had such an amazing wedding day at Fruitlands Museum and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor New England venue space!

s, we worked with Laura who is the coordinator through Fireside. She was very easy going and helped us create our dream wedding. The event manager Shaun and attendants who worked our 10/8 wedding provided the most incredible service. They were on-top of every single detail, organized and so kind. Everything ran so smoothly and it truly just felt like a dream. We had guests rave about the service that was truly the best we’ve experienced at any wedding. The food— phenomenal. It was so delicious, all of our guests raved about the quality of the meal. We all know the couple rarely gets to sit down and enjoy their meals but we got the opportunity to sit and eat because of how wonderful and timely the service was. our attendant Shannon brought us snacks and champagne to the bridal suite and appetizers during cocktail hour photos and worked tirelessly the whole night to make sure we had every thing we could possibly need. She was AMAZING. Her timing was impeccable and would meet us on the dance floor with a drink so we didn’t have to stop the fun. We are so grateful to the entire staff and couldn’t be happier with our experience of having our wedding at the Fruitlands museum.

are looking for a wedding venue, I cannot recommended visiting Fruitlands Museum enough!!
The Fruitlands Museum was the most perfect venue for us. We had a medium-large sized wedding with 150 guests. The spaces were perfect to accomodate our crew: from the ceremony on t...
he lawn to the reception under the tent. The tented reception was complete with space for our 6-member band and dance floor. We also got super lucky with weather (it was pretty perfect) but even in the rain it would have been gorgeous)! Food was great, drinks were great, and the staff above all were so kind, attentive, and organized.
A note for our coordinator, Laura. Since I did not use a personal event planner, I was so lucky to have Laura be our Sales Director for the event. Laura is both organized and flexible and was able to accomodate even our quirkiest of requests. Many thanks to Laura and the Fireside Catering team!!!

vened and instead we had an absolutely magical ceremony under the tent amidst the rains, thunder and lightening! Laura Blessington, Sales Director and Wedding Coordinator Aficionado for Fruitlands Museum was so lovely to work with as she is attentive, warm and informative and fun! The food (Fireside Catering) was exactly as we hoped - delicious - and our guests concurred! Would definitely recommend getting married (or having any event really) at Fruitlands Museum!

everyone was raving about the food. Laura, the event coordinator at Fruitlands is the most wonderful person ever, she’s the nicest and easiest person to work with. she was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. She responded timely, answered every single question I had, and provided me with peace of mind. I was not stressed at all planning the wedding because of how organized Laura is, she made the process so easy. It was raining on and off on our wedding day so we ended up having our ceremony inside of the tent instead of outside on the hill and the team transitioned from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception so seamlessly. The entire team at Fruitlands was so kind and attentive. We could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else. This is the most perfect all inconclusive venue and event team you could find.

oing attitude that made the whole wedding planning process incredibly seamless. It's hard to imagine going through it without them!
My husband and I got married on one of the few rainy days in May. Laura and her staff made sure the rain plan went off without any issue and you would've thought that that was the original plan all along. Many may choose to get married at Fruitlands for its outdoor scenery, but we were able to have an a stunningly beautiful and perfect wedding day while still staying dry. Our guests have not stopped singing the praises of our rainy day wedding since the date. Don't let the possibility of rainy weather deter you from choosing to get married here!
The food was incredible and our guests were very impressed with the options and details to each course. The burrata bar was an especially big hit for guests of all ages and people are still talking about it. Many people say that they were unable to eat on their wedding day due to the business and feeling overwhelmed throughout the day - but the food was so good my husband and I couldn't say no!
I could not imagine getting married at any other venue, and a large part of that is because of Laura and her entire staff. I highly recommend you choose to get married at the Fruitlands Museum!!

She, and the rest of the day-of staff, truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect, and we are so grateful for her. ALSO, the venue and view were absolutely spectacular and the catering was delicious!!! Guests are still raving about our wedding today.

e wedding day in person. She was so organized and eased all our small worries leading up to the day. Everything was seamless and we lucked out with the most beautiful sunset the night of which is amazing with the views on the hill.
This venue was the absolute best! We loved the view, the space and the staff was super professional and helpful. We would highly recommend the Fruitlands Museum!
Every parent wants to see their child's dream come true. To be witness to the wedding dream unfolding in real time was one of the most joyful days of my life.
Fruitland's fairy ta...
le, naturalist setting was the panoramic backdrop to the wedding tent, filled with adorned beauty everywhere.
The tables were beautifully set, with centerpieces created by the team at the "Rose of Sharon at Blossom Hill" in Dunstable.
Every lovely flower and attractive piece created for the bouquets had a part of the bride's sentiment in them!
The food, created and served by Fireside Catering is still being raved about by our guests. Everything was artful to the eye scrumptious to the taste.
The service staff was exceptional, serving flawlessly and pleasantly ready to deliver upon any request.
Three names to give the highest accolades to are Laura Blessington and team, (event planner, sales director, hospitality coordinator and composed- tranquility coach), DJ Dave Riley, (had all guests, movin', groovin' and laughin' to a great selection of music with his witty words and engaging personality) and Dan Aguirre and team(photographers, whos photos capture not only the beauty of the scenery, but the beauty of the guests in every shot). Their photos are truly artfully divine and they are forever immortal treasures. Thank you to everyone who helped turn an ordinary early morning into an extraordinary, dream fulfilled day!

helped make our day feel incredibly special. Laura worked with us throughout the entire wedding planning process and made sure that we were happy on our wedding day. She was very organized and coordinated our ceremony beautifully. Angie, if you're reading this– thank you for making sure we got our favorite cocktail, apps, our entrees, and a to-go box full of desserts to take home... you certainly took care of us and we appreciate you. We and all of the guests were amazed by how beautiful this space was. The Fruitlands Museum was the first venue we checked out during the early stages of planning and we kept going back to it... we're SO happy we did!

food at a wedding or been more impressed with a wedding venue. Fruitlands was communicative and had an excellent rain plan for our wedding. Even though it poured through the dance party at our reception, you would never have known, because the tent kept things dry and warm, and the staff blocked off any areas that got damp. Our wedding went smoothly, and the staff helped us make sure things ran on time and without any issues. What an amazing place to get married.

ould one ask? Elderly attendees pronounced it "the best wedding ever," and young guests had a lot of fun.
We planned a small micro Covid (30 people at first) wedding not knowing what was going to happen; my parents were members of the Trustees of the Reservations in Massachusetts, so I...
gave them a call and I was referred to Fruitlands Museum after going through a few options. Kat our contact - the Sales Director for Fireside Catering | Fruitlands Museum | The Barn at Gibbet Hill was amazing and made the process as seamless as possible (I did not have a wedding planner). I saw the venue in the dead of winter and booked it for June 4th, 2021. Michelle, our day of contact was outstanding in getting things set up and keeping the day running smoothly, whilst I was in makeup and essentially partying (I had a great time). It was a wonderful venue, the food was phenomenal and despite some small glitches here and there the wedding went off so extremely smoothly thanks in part to the staff at Fruitlands Museum. The location is beautiful - overseeing mountains in Massachusetts and NH. Our 40 person wedding (it grew by 10) was not what I entirely imagined at first, but what it did become was absolutely perfect.
Our original wedding venue shut down due to COVID-19. With less than 6 weeks before our wedding date, we booked a micro wedding with Fruitlands. From that moment on, everything s...
eemed possible. The venue is truly gorgeous with incredible foliage in the fall, stunning elevated views (you can see Mount Monadnock in the distance), epic sunset and a beautiful tent complete with elegant lighting. We got stunning wedding photos and our guests also loved getting amazing photos with the foliage and the incredible sunset too. Tim and the staff at Fireside catering were fantastic, they did a really great job of ensuring the safety of our micro wedding. We were nervous about having a wedding during the pandemic, but us and our guests felt very safe and comfortable with everything the staff did to ensure everyone's safety. Tim was super helpful with all the planning leading up to the wedding and on the day of went above and beyond to make our wedding run smoothly. We loved everything about our wedding and had the best experience at Fruitlands.

- Tim is AMAZING. Seriously, he made the whole planning process so smooth by keeping us organized with all of the necessary decisions, offering his very experienced opinion when we asked, and always being available and responsive when things came up. Even the day before our wedding we had a few last-minute issues, but Tim figured everything out behind the scenes and the reception was executed flawlessly. Really the whole staff at Fruitlands are incredible, and they made us feel like our wedding was the first wedding of the season for them, based on their hospitality and attention to details.
- The beauty of the venue - I mean COME ON it's gorgeous! We were insanely lucky because the weather gods behaved on our day and we were able to have our ceremony outside, with a beautiful sunset and fall foliage as our backdrop :) Even the inside option is pretty- the clear siding of the tent allows you to see the amazing views.
- The food is delicious! Fireside Catering does not disappoint, and each of their dishes are the highest quality (without being too fancy/pretentious). We also visited the restaurants that are part of the same restaurant group, Gibbet Hill and the Bancroft, you know for "research," and found they were all fantastic.
One drawback of the venue:
- If you go with Fruitlands, you will need to keep in mind that you won't be able to host other weekend events on the property (due to it being a public museum and because of other weddings) and the closest hotels are about 15 minutes away. So it may require a little bit of creativity and extra time to consider where you would like to host the other events of your wedding weekend and where to book lodging for your guests. All that being said, definitely book Fruitlands - it will be the BEST!!!
What a beautiful venue! We got married Oct 11 2019 - It was slightly chilly with a chance of rain so we opted to have the ceremony in the tent. It went so smoothly! Our guests were...
glad to stay warm but still enjoy the view beyond (they rolled away the clear parts of the tent behind us).
Tim was always responsive and thorough answering my MANY questions. He made everything run very smoothly.
And did we mention the food?! Our guests could not stop talking about the food!! And not because they needed to. Some of our guests are picky eaters and we even received compliments from them. A+ service!

and super easy for us.
Fruitlands Museum was absolutely the perfect place for me and my husband's wedding! We got married on October 6, 2019. First off, the view and the buildings are absolutely beautifu...
l, and even though our wedding day was cloudy, the ambience was still very bright and green (it was one less thing to worry about, how weather would affect the day). We also really liked the rain alternative to the ceremony place, inside the tent, since you can still see the hilly backdrop (some other venues we saw had a great sunny ceremony site, but a mediocre rainy alternative, and we really didn't want to depend on our actual date being a sunny day). The tent is very simple, well maintained, and classic, and many of our guests complimented us on how nice the tent decor was, and how romantic it felt. The buildings also feel very rustic and woodsy but also very classic, definitely very versatile for whatever style you'd want for your wedding.
Second, the food was delicious, like actually amazingly good and by far the best wedding food I've had. We were absolutely taken in at the food tasting months before the wedding, and the day of, the quality was just as we expected. Everything Fireside Catering cooks is also sustainably sourced and locally grown, which was a huge plus as well. Since the catering service comes with renting the venue, we had a lot less to worry about since Fireside Catering took care of everything for us.
Third, and probably most importantly, the staff and especially Tim were AMAZING to work with. He responded so quickly to all our emails, was so patient with questions (and repeat questions), and was super friendly and accomodating. Both my husband and I are introverts, but Tim made us feel very comfortable from our very first meeting, and gave us very organized and comprehensive information to help us as we planned our wedding. He was also very honest and straightforward, which I appreciated especially since some other vendors/people we met for our wedding seemed to want to push us to spend as much as possible, while Tim was very aware of our budget limits and gave us tips and tricks to try to save. Our last meeting before our wedding, our brains were starting to fray a little and he went through everything with us and made us feel like we did in fact have it all together, and had nothing to worry about, which really helped and really shows how he goes above and beyond to take care of the couples who get married at Fruitlands. You can have a beautiful venue but sub-par staff that add stress to an already stressful day, which is really something you don't want to have to deal with on your wedding day. Tim and his team were so friendly, knowledgable, available, and helpful, they actually absorbed all the stress away from me and my husband every time we interacted. I would give ten stars if I could, just for our experience with the staff at Fruitlands. They really made all the difference!

ponsive, flexible, and fun to work with. He made us feel calm! And the Fireside team was great- the food was delicious. More than one guest explicitly told us that they couldn't believe that all of the steaks were cooked so well and all came out at the same time!
Every detail was attended to and we had a wedding that felt totally “us.” We can’t recommend getting married at Fruitlands more highly.

dding 3hrs away. We came across Fruitlands and were amazed to see exactly what we were looking for so close to home. Working with Tim was a breeze and made the wedding planning so easy. People never believe me when I say that our wedding wasn't stressful to plan but with Tim it was so easy. He coordinated all of the vendors and reminded us of timelines. Also the food is amazing, you can’t go wrong with anything you select. I can’t recommend this place enough and we will be back to cafe for our anniversary going forward.

ere a perfect backdrop for our ceremony. (The photos from our day are stunning!) The food was incredible - honestly, everyone was complimenting us on the food, how often does that happen at a wedding? Most importantly, Tim and the other staff at the Fruitlands were so friendly, accommodating, and knowledgable. Wedding planning is stressful, but they made things so easy, and the day was magical. I'm so happy we chose to get married here! I highly recommend this venue.
You cannot go wrong with the gorgeous setting and impeccably maintained grounds at fruitlands. The view is a show stopper and the sunsets do not disappoint. The staff is profession...
al and light hearted from initial planning up through the end of the big event. The planning was low stress and the staff really worked to bring our vision to life. Tim is fantastic! He provided a real time proposal and quote with every change in menu or guest count. He was always a quick email away and diligently answered all our questions with an incredibly rapid turn around. The day of the event was perfectly curated. We still have guests talking about the unreal caliber of food, drink, and amazing scenery.
The personal server was by our side all night keeping us well fed, and offering a fresh beverage as needed.
We were so happy to have our June 2019 wedding at Fruitlands Museum for so many reasons!

ding incredible. We live in Chicago and working with Tim made it so much easier to plan a wedding from 1,000 miles away. An additional staff member helped us with the scheduled events during the ceremony and reception. It rained heavily right before our ceremony and we were able to hold off on making a decision on ceremony location until the last minute. The rain stopped right before guests arrived and the staff dried off the ceremony chairs and tables. When we asked our guests if the chairs were wet, they had no idea it had even rained at the venue! It is also important to note that the staff sets up personal items beautifully (e.g. guest favors, Polaroid photobooth, framed photos, etc.).
Venue: The tent with its gathered canopy, chandeliers, and fairy lights was beautiful. The tent also has clear walls that can attach to the ground for inclement weather. The tent attached to the main building that provided additional rooms guests can mingle in, several clean restrooms, and a private bridal suite upstairs. The grounds were beautifully cared for and allowed for guests to check out the surrounding statues, fountains, etc. The overlook onto Nashoba Valley was stunning during the day and night but made for incredible sunset pictures.
Food: I think everyone says their wedding has the best food… but Fireside Catering at Fruitlands Museum is truly the best wedding food we’ve ever had! Our guests gave the food theirs highest praises and admitted they also thought it was the best wedding food they had ever had too.
Our June 2018 wedding at Fruitlands Museum was beautiful and we are still, over a year later, getting compliments on the incredible food and how beautiful the setting was. Tim work...

I can't recommend Fruitlands Museum enough - it is such a gorgeous and unique venue with incredible people who will go above and beyond to make sure that your special day is perfect!

about this venue. The food, the view, the service, just wow. They coordinated everything perfectly. Everyone told me, oh you won’t eat on your wedding day, but no, they made sure my husband and I had all the appetizers and got time to eat dinner. Everyone at our wedding gushed about how perfect it was and how great the food was. They were incredible with all of the food allergies. I can’t think of anything negative because everything was perfect and I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
Our wedding was exactly as we imagined -- a beautiful view (and yes, the rain held off so that we could have the service in the meadow!!); excellent food (people said the beef was ...
the best they ever had); a classy venue; and lots of attention from the staff so we could relax! Fruitlands and Fireside Catering's Tim do such a great job, we could not have been more pleased. Comments from our guests were that the wedding was classy, elegant and fun!! What could be better. Check out Fruitlands!

ndoor space and outdoor space are equally as beautiful. We ended up having our wedding under the tent due to rain, and it went off without a hitch! The guests had no idea it was supposed to be outside. The food is outstanding as well as the service, and our guests are still talking about the Lobster rolls. Tim and his staff's attention to detail made me feel at ease on my wedding day. He is wonderful to work with and responsive and accommodating down to every last detail. I HIGHLY recommend having your wedding day at Fruitlands! Fruitlands is truly a special place :)

as the place we would get married because it had everything we were looking for- an absolutely gorgeous and functional space, the “wow” factor that would make an impact on our guests, delicious food, and attentive and helpful staff who helped us every step of the way. From our first meeting with Tim he addressed all of our questions and provided us with insight and ideas on things we hadn’t thought about or considered- he truly knows what he is doing and put our minds at ease! Tim also was in frequent contact with us in the months leading up to our wedding and made us feel like top priority, despite the many other couples he was helping that spring and summer! Tim was extremely responsive, organized, and helpful in the months leading up to our wedding. Our wedding day could not have gone smoother thanks to the amazing staff at Fruitlands and all of the services they provide! It’s been almost 6 months and friends and family are still talking about how wonderful the day was and how beautiful Fruitlands is. I cannot recommend Fruitlands enough!

and all of his staff were at The Fruitlands Museum throughout the entire process. Tim was always responsive and helpful with every question we had, the event happened just how we planned it, and the beauty of the backdrop overlooking the trees and the hills during our ceremony were picture perfect. Seriously. Our pictures are perfect.
The menu we chose from had so many fantastic options, we were so happy we could say the food was locally sourced, and every dish we chose received rave reviews from all of our guests.
The day of our wedding I was genuinely not anxious about the day's schedule or details because I knew Tim and his team were on top of things -- all I had to do was focus on enjoying my day with my husband and our family and friends, which is really all I could ask for. This was such an incredible venue to work with from start to finish and I cannot recommend it more.

ew that we were in good hands with Tim. We were a little overwhelmed with planning a wedding in under 6 months, but the Tim made it easy. Although they did not push them on us, we ended up using several of their suggested vendors and were very happy. On the day of our wedding, everything was perfect. The staff. the scenery, the food, and and venue were absolutely incredible. We know that the Fruitlands has lots of weddings, but they made us feel like ours really was special. Our guests all raved about the food and service. Several people told me that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. I cannot recommend the Fruitlands highly enough.
My husband and I wanted a fall wedding at a place that would give us a chance to be outside with the foliage and Fruitlands was perfect! Not only was it a gorgeous setting for an o...
utdoor wedding, the venue as a whole is wonderful to work with and they did an amazing job making sure our wedding was exactly how we wanted it. Not a single complaint and all our guests loved it! Plus, we were able to have our dog as part of our day and that just made it even more perfect!
My husband and I got married at the Fruitlands Museum in October 2018, and there is nothing I would change about it. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a view of Nashoba...
Valley made even prettier by all of the fall colors. The tent where the reception was held was beautiful, with chandeliers and string lights. Tim, the coordinator, is amazing, and he made the planning process insanely easy. He is very organized, and was consistently in touch with us throughout the process. The other staff on the day-of were also great, and a server brought us hors d'eouvres and drinks after the ceremony while we were taking advantage of the perfect sunset for pictures. The food is delicious (several people told me it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding) and there are so many options to choose from so you can really customize your day based on your budget. Speaking of budget, you get a lot of value for your money. The ceremony took place outside facing the valley with the reception under the tent. Given that we were having a mid-October wedding we were unsure of what the weather would be like, and we loved how adaptable the tent was. Do yourself a favor and email Tim now!

lands. From the moment my husband and I stepped foot onto the property and saw the sweeping views we knew we wanted to get married there. The food (Fireside Catering) and wonderful staff are just added bonuses to the beauty that this venue offers.
Our wedding at The Fruitlands was everything that we wanted and more. As you'll immediately see from the photos, the venue is absolutely stunning and offers great outdoor, tented,...
and inside space. But what really sets this venue apart from others that we looked at is the staff. Tim Holmes is phenomenal. He made the process simple, comfortable, and fun! We had 100% confidence throughout the entire process that our wedding visions would be met, and they executed with perfection. The day off, the staff went above-and-beyond to add additional decorations and was extremely attentive throughout the course of the night. The catering company prides themselves on the quality and the presentation of their food, and they absolutely live up to their reputation. Thank you Fruitlands Museum for everything - it was a night we'll remember forever and will recommend to anyone in the future!
This was the first and only venue my husband and I checked out. I could not be happier with our choice. The venue is beautiful, the staff was amazing, and the food was delicious! T...
im was so easy to work with and he made the process so much less stressful- I would've been lost without him! The staff the day of was so great and attentive. We could not have asked for a more perfect day, thanks to the Fruitland's Museum and all of their staff!

Tim was well organized, helped answer all of our questions and we knew we would feel at ease with Tim and his team taking care of us that day. We were assigned designated wait staff who provided us drinks and snacks while we were taking pictures and helped us with anything that we needed. I would recommend the Fruitlands to any couple who are looking for a stunning backdrop for their big day!
