Fukushima Flowers

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Terrie @ Fukushima Flowers. My Fianceé and I are based out of California planning a wedding in Maui, Hawaii. As you can imagine, planning a wedding is stressful enough let alone planning a destination wedding. After months of searching for a florist, we connected with Terrie via our Wedding Planner, and couldn't be happier. Terrie put our worries at ease while we talk through the event and worked with our ideas as well as gave great suggestions to incorporate for our event. She went above and beyond to make sure all bases were covered and even went as far as to go to our venue to take photos for us to get a better idea while planning. Terrie's flower collections are breathtaking. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we had to postpone our wedding and we were unable to move forwards with the event. If you're looking for a florist, look no further. Terrie will bring peace of mind and make you feel at home.

Fukushima Flowers did an amazing job with my flower crown.I had a last minute wedding, literally called them 3 days prior to the wedding and they were able to create an absolutely beautiful and elegant flower crown for me. We discussed the colors and ideas over the phone and their work exceeded my expectations. I am impressed with their work and customer service!

Terrie was absolutely AWESOME!! She made my bouquets, Boutonnières and leis just how we talked about. I had only seen her work in pictures on Instagram and she delivers exactly what she promises. The prices were very reasonable compared to other florist in Hawaii (others were priced outrageously). She truely loves what she does and it SHOWS!!

Honestly, a little disappointed. My husband and I decided that we wanted to do a beach destination wedding in Maui, Hawaii. We utilized a planner and he recommended that we use Fukushima Flowers for our flowers. He contacted Terri, the owner, a couple weeks before the wedding with my ideas. Terri reached out to me and we discussed on the phone what I wanted in great detail. Ultimately deciding on a cascading bouquet, a boutonniere, a hairpiece and some table decor. She was very through and helpful...Day of wedding arrives. I recieve my beautiful boutonniere and hairpiece and they are gorgeous. My bouquet arrives and its completely the wrong bouquet and colors not close to what I sent in pictures. I love flowers and I was highly disappointed that I did not get the flowers I was wanting. Especially after we discussed on the phone specifically what I wanted and we were in agreement. Dont get me wrong the flowers I received were pretty, but not what I had envisioned and thought we agreed upon. My table decor turned out beautiful and I was pleased with that. I'm just not sure what happened with the bouquet, but it left me a little disappointed.

Terrie Fukushima is so awesome! From our first phone call I knew I was in good hands. I had an idea of what I wanted but didn't know if it was possible, and I had several conflicting vague ideas floating around. Terrie knows how to ask all the right questions and how to coordinate everything PERFECTLY. The bridal bouquet, groomsmen and groom's boutonnieres, bridesmaid bouquets, and reception floral arrangements were a real dream come true. The decor she included with the wedding was also elegant and helped make my wedding one of the best days of my life. The wedding flowers were really important to me, and could have made or broken my wedding. Terrie was easy to work with and was one of the vendors I most looked forward to meeting. She also gave me a great piece of advice--telling me not to worry (she was on my side!) and to go out and buy a bottle of lavender essential oil to smell when I'd get stressed out. She was right! Terrie was also great about staying in my budget--I had won a bridal bouquet, groom's boutonniere, reception centerpieces, and a pair of leis from her in a wedding giveaway, but I still needed to purchase flowers for one set of parents, for the bridesmaids, and for the groomsmen. Unlike a lot of possible vendors I talked to while planning for my wedding, she actually heard me and really understood my budget restrictions and worked hard to keep me in budget, which is something I really, truly appreciated. She also made my vision a reality. Although I live in Hawaii, I didn't really want tropical flowers, so I was beyond relieved that she was on the same page and willing to create flowers for me like what you'd normally see for weddings in the continental United States. If you need flowers for your Maui wedding, be sure to contact Terrie first before talking to anyone else! She's a genuinely good person, and I would give my business to her again and again if I lived on Maui!

Terrie is an amazing florist, and did the bouquets and centerpiece flowers for my wedding.. She went above and beyond and spent so much time with me over several phone calls and emails while I planned my Maui wedding while living in California.. She even created a lovely bouquet for my room after the wedding as a surprise. She was amazing; my favorite vendor. Her designs were beautiful, and she even tried to help me be cost-conscious. She is talented, thoughtful, sweet, and a pleasure to work with. Would recommend without hesitation.

You will love Terrie Fukushima, but importantly, you will love her exquisitely beautiful floral creations! She is very professional, but also a delight to work with. We used Terrie for our daughter's destination wedding on Maui. We sent Terrie some pins from Pinterest with a picture of a table setting and several pictures of bouquets my daughter (the bride-to-be) liked. Terrie's re-creation of the table setting was beyond beautiful--it was stunning! The flowers in the table settings and bouquet were unique and beautiful! We had have never seen anything like them. In the bouquet she used succulents, roses, eucalyptus seeds, and more. The flowers were magical. My only regret about it being a destination wedding is that we couldn't bring the flowers home with us.

I didn't originally plan for flowers at my wedding, and therefore they weren't planned into my budget but in the end I was very happy to work with Terrie for the perfect bridal bouquet, meilei lei for the groom, and haku (head) lei for our flower girl. I did not have a vision for what I wanted besides simple. She provided a beautiful bouquet that wasn't too overwhelming in size for our simple, beach wedding. She used pins as accents and they were the same color of aqua as our wedding colors. She did a great job on short notice and at an affordable price.

My husband and I were planning our wedding from California, and Terrie made that process very enjoable and easy via phone and email. She provided wonderful suggestions that really added to our vision. Her designs captured exactly what we were going for -- and the quality of the flowers were perfect. We got married at the Sheraton Black Rock Lawn in Maui September 20, 2012. The Sheraton provided us with a list of vendors that we had to choose from. There were three florists we could choose from and I emailed them all to get a feel for them and their prices. Terrie, from Fukushima Flowers, was not only the first to respond, her prices were so much more reasonable than any other florist. I could tell just through emails that she was going to be great to work with. Terrie is truly amazing at what she does, she created my dream bouquet with stargazer lilies, purple orchids and yellow plumerias. My bridesmaids had the most beautiful bouquets with pinks, purples and yellows. My flower girls had white head leis that looked so cute and they had pink, purple and yellow pedals they sprinkled on our white pedal aisle. She was so patient with us, because we did not book our reception site until months before our wedding, so we didn't know we would need centerpieces until late! She really ended up being a God-send to us! Not only did she listen to exactly what we wanted for our flower arrangements she also helped us with other details of the wedding. We were planning our destination wedding from California and were having a difficult time trying to find reasonably priced places to have our reception. She recommended so many places that were not in the search engines online and we ended up finding exactly what we were looking for! She also recommended her cousin, Anela, to do our hairstyles for the wedding and that saved us so much money too... not to mention she came to our hotel room to do it! I highly recommend Terrie and would use her again and again if I could! She really does look out for her brides and she was so fun and easy to work with! Thank you Terrie!!

I had Fukushima Flowers do all my flowers for my wedding in Maui. Terrie, the owner, did an amazing job making my dream and vision come true for my wedding. I was nervous about living in California and having to plan my wedding which was taking place in Maui, but Terrie eased all my nerves. I told her what I pictured in my head and she was able to do exactly that. I was blown away by my flowers. I continue to get compliments on them when people see my wedding pictures. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a florist on Maui to use Fukushima Flowers, you will not be disappointed!

Aloha, From the day we got engaged and reality sunk in that we had a wedding to plan, I knew a big focus was going to be on my flowers. I was going to have limited decorations but I wanted beautiful flowers and something to honor my grandmother who had passed away. Fukushima flowers made this come true. Terrie was so great to work with not only did she get the specific color and flower that were out of season for me but she also sat and met with my fiance and I to go over everything at a nice breakfast. The day of the wedding she delivered the flowers and I did not have to worry at all. She set them all up and handed out my leis and boquets and like a fairy god mother. My boquets were so gorgeous I kept them in a vase in my house for atleast 2 weeks after the wedding. My pictures were amazing. Thank you Terrie for your service and friendliness. Mahalo.

Terrie is amazing!!! she is truly a life saver! For over a year I had been planning a wedding with white orchid wedding (WOW) and my wedding planner Stacey was a nightmare. She left me looking for my own vendors and was very last minute about everything but that is a completely different topic. Needless to say I wond up contacting Terrie asking her about specific leis that I was looking for for my wedding. When I contacted her she was extremely helpful and most important honest! I ended things with WOW because I was extremely unhappy and in panic mode with them and Terrie was there to help. Although she is not a wedding coordinator she went above and beyond for me helping me to plan a completely new wedding and find a new location in less than a month.she was truthful about everything she told me shes not trying to sell anyone a dream or just get your money As a bride planning a wedding thousands of miles away all you can hope for is someone who truly cares about your day and is an honest human being. Now that I've told you what an amazing person Terrie is let me tell you how amazing she is as a florist. The bouquets she made for myself and my girls were absolutely stunning they were exactly what I envisioned. All of the floral arrangements and table decoration were perfect and exactly as we discussed. Terry also makes awesome welcome baskets for you guest with local Hawaii goodies inside and my guest truly loved them. Thanks again Terrie you are awesome & a miracle worker!!!

I loved my bouquet that Terrie made, it was truly amazing!! She also had orchids for my hair that were beautiful too! Would highly recommend her!!

Terrie was great to work with. She was friendly and fun to talk with. I communicated with Terrie over the phone since I did a destination wedding. The lei's looked great and so did the bouquets.
