Full Flavor Band

Amazing! Just amazing! This is the band you want. They had everyone dancing and having a good time. Their vocalists are spectacular. I'm soooooo happy I found them. Can't imagine what our reception would have been like without them. Our friends still bring up how great the band was. Thank you for making our special day that much more special!

Words can't even describe the phenomenal energy, good vibes and talent of Shea & Full Flavor... their performance at our wedding truly left us speechless. Shea is simply electric when she performs and she and the band had our entire guest list held captive on the dance floor for the entire night. We feel absolutely blessed to have found them for our wedding. Ever the consummate professionals, they took care of every detail on the audio for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and EVERY single one of our guests can't stop talking about it months later. Shea even worked with a family member to collab on a surprise performance together for our first dance - to say she went above and beyond is an understatement. I will save you some time on your entertainment hunt... HIRE THEM NOW! We are threatening to have an annual vow renewal party just so we can get the chance to have them perform again. Cannot say enough good things.

Shea is so professional and talented. She was so attentive to the details of our event. The full entertainment experience with the band is simply amazing. The range of music they perform is incredible and there is something for everyone in your party. I’m eternally grateful to Shea and the band for making our event magical.

There are not enough positive words in the world to express how I feel about Shea and her band. If you're considering booking them, DO IT. They were the best part of our wedding and are worth every penny. The long story - My now-husband and I had to reschedule our wedding 3x due to COVID, and throughout the process, we ran into constant issues with changing vendors, COVID regulations, planning mistakes and missed details - you name it. We had a couple of shining lights that kept us sane throughout the long process - Shea was one of them. She is SUPER warm and friendly, communicative, kind, and overall wonderful to work with. When everything else felt like it was falling apart, a text or call from Shea was always welcomed. But that's not even the best part - she and her band were EPIC at our wedding. No one stopped dancing the entire time and we got so many comments that it was the best wedding people had ever been to - which I know was in large part due to Shea and her band. I told my husband we're going to have to have another party on Maui down the line (10th anniversary maybe? ;)) just so we can book her again. The short story - If you want a band at your wedding - or any event - go with Shea. You will absolutely not regret it!

Shea and her band are amazing! The wedding is all about the band and they killed it! She even had my parents dancing, which is a miracle, lol. Seriously, could not have asked for more!

This band ROCKED THE HOUSE. More than the food, more than the venue, more than the cake, our guests raved about the band! One of the must-have things I always wanted for my wedding was a live band, so when I found Shea Derrick and Full Flavor, saw the list of songs they play, and watched some of their YouTube videos, I was very excited. I spoke with Shea over the phone before booking them, and her warmth and eagerness to work with us sold me. I will never forget dancing my first dance with my new husband to a LIVE BAND playing our song with two singers harmonizing on Sam Cooke's Bring It On Home. Throughout the night, the musicians were completely professional--there was not an off note, each song was soulful, energizing, and beautiful. The majority of our guests danced the night away, even aunts and uncles that I didn't think liked dancing! They played everything from the 1960s and 70s soul and funk we love to modern songs everyone loves, like Lizzo and Bruno Mars. They even took requests! Shea was also an AWESOME emcee for the night. She opened it up for people to sing karaoke backed up by the band, and my brothers performed Sweet Caroline and stole the show (temporarily!). Shea also led us in a line dance and took photos with everyone and danced with the little kids, making them feel so special. I can't recommend Shea and Full Flavor highly enough. If you're looking for a wedding band on Maui, you absolutely MUST hire them. To this day whenever I talk to my friends and relatives who were there, they all say, "your wedding was so lovely. And THAT BAND!!" Followed by more raving.

We absolutely love this band!! They had everyone up and dancing the whole night long at our xmas party a few days ago. All of my guests were asking me where I found them and how much they loved their music. If you are on Maui and thinking of adding on entertainment for your event you need to contact Shea!! You will not be disappointed.

If you plan to get married on Maui, go ahead and book Shea as soon as you secure a date. She was hands down the best live band I've ever experienced at a wedding, and she exceeded our expectations by a mile. My husband and I wanted Shea and her band to sing their our rendition of a Talking Heads song for our first dance song - we had no idea how it would turn out until we were on the dance floor. Just WOW - it was so beautiful, I was brought to tears. I couldn't have asked for better entertainment. My guests got to sing along to various songs and Shea was so interactive with everyone. Thank you SO MUCH Shea and the Full Flavor band!!!!

Words cannot begin to express how amazing Shea and her band were on our wedding day! We are forever grateful for Shea's talents, energy and professionalism. She's both a wonderful artist as well as a rockstar emcee! Shea had our entire wedding reception moving from start to finish and the dance floor was jam-packed. Our guests raved about Shea and her awesome band the whole night. Shea's bandmate/male vocalist, Lawaia, was incredible too! Prior to the wedding, Shea was so responsive to every email and phone call from us (and, trust me, there were many). She was always so eager to hear what we were envisioning, as well as offer her professional advice and tips. We wanted a jazzy, R&B feel for our dinner reception and then an upbeat, super fun dance party right after. Needless to say, Shea DELIVERED and our vision was absolutely realized! We loved Shea's song list, and she worked with us in choosing just the right songs for the night. We also loved Shea's interaction with our crowd -- it never felt forced or over-the-top -- it was absolutely perfect! Being a same-sex couple, discovering that Shea is a big supporter of LGBT rights was the icing on the cake for us. She is a truly special soul -- and you can really feel it when she performs! Thank you Shea, for everything you did to ensure that our wedding went off without a hitch! We'll be re-living the magic of that night for the rest of our lives. -C & B

They were great! They played at my wedding at the Haiku Mill and they were incredible. They got all my friends and family dancing -- a miracle in itself. Very talented musicians. Can't recommend this band enough!

BEST BAND EVER. We were so impressed by them, they had the best energy and enthusiasm and our guests are still talking about them weeks after the big day. If we could hire them for every event we attend/host, we would. Highly, highly recommend them.
