Extremely professional and lovely to work with! I highly recommend his service
Doug and Geraline handled the photography for our wedding. They arrived promptly and got straight to work. They covered several aspects of the day, including the preparation at our hotel, the setup at the venue, the ceremony and the reception. They also shot several videos, which can be a large cost with many photographers but was included in our reasonably priced Emerald package. They were very accommodating and on stand-by the entire time. The photos and videos came out fantastic, and with the Emerald we received several USB copies of all the photos and videos as well as a link to our online gallery. All told, this was more than we can ask for, and I'm glad my wife tracked down Fullerton Photography for our special day.

Doug and his assistant were both extremely helpful and great photographers. We had a very small wedding, and the pictures turned out great (turn-around time was fast too). Definitely gets a double thumbs-up from us!

Getting married during a pandemic is not the easiest thing we have ever done. Masks, social distancing, fear, stress, but so much love.
One thing we didn't have to worry about was our photos. Doug was suggested to us by a friend and oh boy do we have them to thank!
From the start Doug was super supportive, professional and kind. I had never had a professional photographer for an event. So I needed quite a bit of hand holding. He always had a suggestion or kind nudge to get me where I needed to be.
For our engagements photos we had no plan at all. A few props and a whole lot of looking at Doug. He came in with a smile and the perfect location to give us a magical shoot. (Our wedding was Harry Potter themed. Lol)
The day of the wedding was beautiful. He captured things we didn't even think to ask for. And because he took the time to get to know us, he took pictures we really would love. Including allowing so may goofy photo bombs. Which we will always smile and laugh about.
His assistant was a lovely person who helped so much on that day too. Her calming affect on the bridal party was appreciated and so was she.
I honestly cannot thank Doug enough. We have beautiful pictures, a super cool wedding slideshow/video, and so many memories to thank him for.
His price is low and his quality is amazing. If you have the chance to work with Doug you should!

Doug did a fantastic job! We weren't sure that we wanted a lot of pictures with us being an older couple getting married, and inexperienced with photographers. But, Doug knew just which shots to get to make it very memorable! He was very patient and more than willing to get the shots we wanted, and knowledgeable enough to know which shots to get, in addition. Highly recommended!
I am so relieved that we hired Doug! He was responsive and professional throughout the planning process and really fun to have around during the day. Although we have not received the photos yet(wedding was just yesterday) I trust that they'll be amazing because he showed them to us on the display as he was taking them to make sure we approved. And they looked incredible. He has amazing equipment and a great eye for the right shots. I cannot say enough great things about Doug and will highly recommend him to everyone. We were blessed with the most amazing vendors.
Doug was wonderful. He joined us at Walden Woods on 8-13-17, and was very patient, organized, and mindful. He took all of the photos we requested, and some that we wouldn't have thought of. He made quality use of all of our time, and was extremely nice and charismatic.
My wife and I just got married, and about a year ago we found Fullerton Photography on The Knot, and decided to give Doug a call!
I can tell you that calling Doug was one of the best decisions that we made regarding our wedding!
Beyond that, I don't even really know where to begin, because there are so many FANTASTIC qualities about Doug and his business, but I can assure you that if you choose Fullerton Photography, you will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
I guess to start, Doug is very prompt, very thorough, and has a wonderful artistic style which makes for extremely beautiful and elegant photos.
Our wedding was held at a Christmas tree farm on July 23, 2016... And it was literally the hottest day of the year (high 90's and humid) - But, do you think that deterred Doug and his assistant? NOPE!
Doug stayed at our wedding for roughly 8 hours and in the end, snapped 3,742 pictures.. Which were incredible!
Extremely high resolution photos, and high resolution video (of our dances). Expanding off of this for a moment, Doug took the time to edit the photos in a manner that left their natural beauty, but at the same time.. cleaned up imperfections, that would have otherwise taken away from the photos. (For instance, my wife's Grandfather spilled something on his bright white shirt... And Doug cleaned that up in the editing stage, so that it would not take away from the family photo when it was all said and done)
In addition to this, Doug got everything, and I mean, everything! Which was awesome, because my wife and I were so busy that night, we didn't get to see everything that went on... And looking at those pictures now, it is very rewarding knowing that our guests utilized everything that we had worked so hard on over the months and months it took to prepare for the wedding.
And, while I could sit here for hours and go on and on about Doug and his professionalism and great attitude towards the event and his photos... I can also sum it up quite simply with: My wife and I HIGHLY recommend Doug / Fullerton Photography for any occasion that you might have. Like I stated previously, you will NOT be disappointed!!!!

Doug at Fullerton Photography was nothing but wonderful for our wedding. He is very courtious and took pictures of anything we wanted. He was very prompt in letting up know how the pictures were progressing and when we would have them back to use. He was nothing but a professional the entire time. On the day of our wedding he was nonstop taking pictures of everything and anything. I highly recommend Doug if you want a small team pf photographers at a great price. Perfect for weddings on a budget.
I was impressed with Doug's professionalism and knowledge of shooting weddings from our first phone conversation. He was diligent and prompt with his communication which gave me confidence that all would go well on the big day, and it did go very well. He was very knowledgeable and professional at the wedding and his assistant was equally so. They encouraged any photos we wanted and were very flexible. Additionally they knew all the photos combinations that we would want with our family and friends and directed us through those photos with ease. I was very pleased and received compliments about how good they were working with the group. I would recommend Doug to anybody, I was thrilled with his work!

He is so professional and helpful. He was calm and very detail oriented.
I sent him some pictures before the wedding of shots I would like and he made sure that I had everything that I wanted! Doug has great attention to detail and you can really tell that he has experience! It was such a relief knowing that I could trust him to get not only all of the important typical shots but candid and creative ones as well. I would like to start out by saying that at first Doug was very kind, professional, and answered all my questions. I had initially booked his photography services for my wedding well in advance of the day. Unfortunately, three months after I booked Doug, he called me to say that he could not photograph my wedding because he was going on vacation to Dubai. This was an unexpected vacation he said, a gift from someone else. But that does not negate the fact that Doug broke his contractual agreement with my fiance and I and decided to go on a personal vacation instead. It was very disappointing and caused stress on us to replace him. What was more, he spent our deposit so he wasn't able to refund us our money right away. I would only suggest to be cautious with booking Doug. Fortunately for us he remained professional and refunded us our deposit back.

Thanks so much for your feedback. I’m sorry you were inconvenienced by this situation, however, hearing suggestions and criticism is beneficial to the improvement of my business.
First, I’d like to lay out the timeline this happened in. You ...
contracted with me on 8/7/14 for your wedding on 9/19/15. We discussed wedding details via phone and email but never had an opportunity to meet face-to-face. I notified you on 12/26/14 that I had unexpectedly been afforded an opportunity to go to Dubai during the time that your wedding was going to occur. It was wonderful that you were so understanding and accommodating, as this was gifted to me and would cost hundreds of dollars to change. I attempted to shift travel dates to still be able to shoot your wedding, but was told that was not possible without significant cost.
As such, since your wedding date was so far away, I regrettably had to bow out and offered you a refund. My refund policy stated in your contract specified that you would receive not only your deposit back, but DOUBLE your deposit back if I didn’t shoot your wedding due to a controllable issue on my part. While this was intended for unexpected occurrences the day of the wedding, I understand how you interpreted this to mean ANY cancellation on my part.
As such, I did honor this stipulation in my contract and gave you $600 back, instead of the $300 you had given me. Fortunately, this has been my ONLY refund to date, in my seven+ years of photographing many weddings.
Secondly, I sent you your refund check in a 3 week timeframe, as it was a slow time of year in my business. I explained this as soon as I made the phone call to alert you to the date conflict. I stated that refunding your deposit was my utmost priority, and that, while evaluating the financial needs of my business in this slow period, I refunded your payment as soon as was possible. Since then I have modified my contract to reflect any deposit will be refunded within 30 days, so that if this would ever happen again, my intent is fully understood.
I personally felt very upset about needing to cancel, but I let you know as quickly as possible after the issue occurred (the day after Christmas when I received this gift) and I thought we had reached an understanding that you were comfortable with. My primary focus was on giving you, the client, immediate notice to be able to select a replacement studio. I'm very sorry that we could not have reached a more amicable resolution.
You have my best wishes for your September 2015 wedding.
Has to be one of the best photographers around. He pays special attention to the details with not being pushy. He did our wedding and the photos turned out great and I would refer him to everyone that I know. All said and done at the end of the day the price was right and everything looked great.
Doug Fullerton (Fullerton Photography) was wonderful to work with! I was having an evening wedding/reception and didn't need the amount of time generally available in most photography packages, but he also provides a Freelance package with an hourly rate, so I was able to select the number of hours that I wanted. Doug and his assistant arrived prompted on the day of the event and managed to get some wonderful photographs of both the girls and the guys before the event started. They were very attentive and imaginative with the photos after the ceremony, and we were blessed with a great venue with a lot of photo ops. The photos taken during the ceremony, after the ceremony during the cocktail hour, and during the reception were all wonderful, and I loved Doug's attention to detail. He made sure to ask if there were any photos that I wanted specifically. After the wedding was over, he began processing the photos immediately, since I was his first wedding of the season. The proofs were available quickly, and I received my CDs with the high quality digital negatives within a few days after the online proofs were uploaded. I was also able to purchase an extra disc of photos for a small cost.
The best decision I made when planning my wedding was choosing Doug as my photographer. He went above and beyond any wedding photographer I have ever come across. He not only stayed the entire night (until we left!), but he provided us with hundreds and hundreds of professional and usable shots.
Doug was a dream to work with on such a important (and stressful) day! I would recommend him to any couple looking to get the most bang for their buck!
Not only is Doug an excellent photographer, but what he offers is amazing, especially for the price. He's great to work with and provides high quality work along with tons of beautiful photos. I was completely happy with everything! Couldn't wish for better!
From very early on in the beginnings of perfecting my own, personal wedding, I knew that Doug was the photographer for me. To me, pictures are VERY important, and I would not have entrusted to capture me and my husband's special day in any other way. I had a very unique, medieval style wedding, and Doug immediately catered to my special needs and wants without hesitation. He could understand exactly what I wanted; and being an experienced model, I can tell you that it is very difficult to actually find professional photographers who know what they are doing and have "vision." I enjoyed that I didn't have to explain to him what I wanted to capture in every picture. HE knew the beautiful points and he caught them perfectly. I am an EXTREME perfectionist. It is very difficult to meet my standards and expectations, but I honestly could not be happier with all of my photos. I love them, and I am so happy and thankful that I found one of the best photographers around to be there for me on my special day. Professional, with an eye for capturing the unique beauty of a single moment- that's what makes a photographer great. Doug is all that and more.

We hired Doug (Fullerton Photography) for our wedding held on August 14, 2010. From Day 1 Doug was nothing but professional and helpful. He consistently made me aware of what was going on, which as a stressed out bride, I appreciated. He was very dedicated to providing me and my husband with what we envisioned. The day of the wedding he and his brother were great. Every shot I asked for and dreamed of, I had. Even after the wedding, Doug kept us updated on status of photos, etc. What was also great about Fullerton Photography is they provide you with a $100 print credit which allowed me to get some great prints. When our print order was ready, Doug actually drove in the pouring rain to deliver our prints, even when I told him he could just mail them because I live about 40 minutes from him. I would recommend Fullterton Photography to any bride looking to get great service, great shots for a great amount. Thank you Doug.
Doug's skill speaks for itself when you see his pictures. What you can't see from the website is the experience he creates. From the first time we spoke with Doug about shooting our wedding he carried himself like an absolute professional. The entire process he is 1st class. I started my photography career ironically not dabbling with photography but studying Architecture, History, and Philosophy at Detroit UDM. While studying art and endeavoring with college life, I met friends who were encouraging in developing that artistic talent behind the camera. While I had focused on Architectural study, computer oriented literature and building, anime, video gaming and other time-fillers, friends recommended I dabble with wedding photography. After genuinely taking suggestions to heart, I launched my business and have successfully worked nearly 90 weddings to date.
