ve two setups for the ceremony and reception and swapped between them seamlessly. His announcements and MC skill were also fantastic. He learned from our guest speeches and incorporated things he learned into the announcements which further enhanced the experience. Our friends and family were raving about him after the wedding! Would absolutely recommend him for anyone else’s wedding/event. Thank you so much for making our day as special as it could be!!

oever. Toasts were supposed to be sprinkled in every 10 minutes within dinnertime, but over 45 minutes passed before Michael called anyone up to toast. This seriously delayed the flow of events and cut our dancing time very short. The worst part is that my maid of honor was the one reminding Michael about the order of events and eventually took a microphone and started announcing instead. Later in the evening, Michael randomly announced that we would be having our first dance when we were not ready. This caused a huge awkward moment because there was no room for dancing and guests were looking at us waiting for us to have our dance. I’m very confused as to why I would be even asked to provide a timeline if Michael did not follow it. The thing that hurt me most is the fact that Michael completely botched our first introduction as a couple. We asked for a specific song to be played when we entered the room but our song was not played until we were at our seats across the room. This was very awkward and shifted the energy in the room. Next, Michael’s transitions were extremely long, silent and awkward. Michael did not play music or say anything during transitions. These transitions did not flow naturally, were filled with heavy silence and lasted a long time. Things got so bad that we avoided adding in more events/announcements because we knew Michael’s transitions would be uncomfortable. Next, I indicated on the DJ Questionnaire that only clean music was to be played. Towards the end of the evening, Michael played music that was extremely explicit. This was offensive to ourselves, our friends and our family who don’t uphold those values. Next, Michael’s microphone was echoey and guests could not hear what he was saying for most of the night. When Michael announced things, people looked at each other confused and questioned each other about what was said. A few days after my wedding, I reached out to Michael to discuss what happened. I explained why I was disappointed in the service I received and I was met with an aggressive response. Michael told me all the mishaps were my fault and I could seek legal action if I wanted to. This reaction was very hostile, especially because I was simply expressing the things I was disappointed with and I did it in a respectful way. Michael expressed to me that he needs couples to have a day-of-coordinator in order to perform his job effectively. Apparently, the DJ Questionnaire he provides and a timeline of events is not enough for him to know what to do during our big day; he also needs a resource person to tell him what to do. I don’t have anything against this, but it came as a surprise to us because we were never made aware of this before hiring Michael. I don’t think we would have hired him if he had told us he needed an additional person to keep him on track. Finally, Michael blamed us arriving 20 minutes late to the reception as the reason the timeline was off. I understand we were late, but that’s something that happens at weddings (20 minutes is a very small delay). I guess this delay threw Michael off so bad that he gave up on announcing events. I strongly discourage people from booking Fulton Music because you will spend a lot of money to receive a service that one of your untrained friends/family could provide.

y-of coordinator. But of all the money we spent, this may have been the best investment we made. Lia was an incredible help during our wedding weekend. She ran our rehearsal, wrangled our guests from one location to another on the massive property, and helped keep us moving toward our schedule. But most of all I appreciated her warmth, kindness, and genuine investment in making sure our day went smoothly — she felt more like a family friend than a vendor. Her wrangling made it possible for me to just relax and enjoy the day, and she's part of the reason our wedding felt so personal and full of love. Thank you, Lia, for helping to make this a beautiful lifelong memory!

unshine over what could have been a disastrous event. He even got out on the dance floor with us when he realized we didn't remember all the Macarena moves. At one point during the evening, the trench we had dug around the tent to divert the water gave way and a deluge poured in. No one panicked. Mike simply unplugged his equipment, my husband quickly dug a new trench and my son in law swept the water off the dance floor. Within five minutes Mike plugged back in, Janis Joplin continued to belt out Piece Of My Heart where she left off, and the crowd resumed dancing! I think most people would have said "See you later", packed up and left, but Mike continued to spin tunes for another two hours while the guests had a blast. I highly recommend Mike Fulton for any event with a fun-loving crowd!

ved numerous compliments from our guests about how great and engaging Mike was throughout our reception. Absolutely everyone was on the dance floor, and even Mike got out there to teach us a thing or two about our line dancing. We would recommend Mike to any couple planning a wedding!

s!!! I was worried as we had a small guest list that people would not dance but because of Mike's experience and perfect songs choices, this was not a problem at all. He showed up early and was prepared, even despite some rainy weather. My husband and I feel so lucky and could not be more thrilled to have Mike as our DJ.

any questions for me -- but come wedding day, it was apparent that even without ever having to speak with him on the phone or over Zoom or in person, he nailed it. He was so funny and charming, and people were on the dance floor all night. Awesome DJ!

, professional, lively, and just overall an awesome DJ. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with him. He transitioned between each part of the day flawlessly and the guests absolutely LOVED him. Mike was a total hit. Mike followed instructions when it came to genre choices. My husband is from El Salvador and we wanted a lot of Latin music and have that mixed In with a lot of oldies and alternative music…. Mike really blended that beautifully. I can’t wait to refer Mike out for several years to come. Mike pulled out all the stops for us and honestly I feel like our day would have been incomplete without him. We also had three mikes for the ceremony because our ceremony needed to be translated into three languages and Mike really worked with us to make sure that there was no interference. Mike is awesome and y’all absolutely have to hire him for your wedding!!
