Thank you Darrin! We are so glad we picked Fun Factory to DJ our wedding. Darrin had people on the dance floor all night! He made sure to play music that we had shared with him that we wanted to hear and he did an amazing job keeping the party going! It was perfect and everyone had so much fun!

I am beaming with happiness to write this review! Darrin was the perfect DJ for our wedding. I can't say enough about how pleased we are with him and his services! He came highly recommended by our venue, and we can understand why. They told us they wished every wedding held there could be DJ'd by Darren, because he is so professional and easy to work with. Everything was on-point from beginning to end. He responded to our messages extremely quickly, answered all of our questions thoroughly, executed every detail exactly as we discussed and is just an overall really nice person. We couldn't be happier and neither could our wedding guests! There was a non-stop party on our dance floor because the playlist was just too good to stop! He was very accommodating and genuinely just wants to see his wedding couples happy.

Darrin was the most kindest and professional DJ to work with. He checked in with us all throughout the night with kind words, hugs, and just a great attitude. He has done many weddings at Highland Manor and it showed by the way he worked with the staff and other vendors. I highly recommend Darrin for a stress free and great experience.

Darrin was so absolutely WONDERFUL! I cannot begin to recommend him enough. From our first initial contact, Darrin was always so easy to get a hold of and was always welcoming to any questions or concerns that I had a long the way. My entire life, my dad has run his own DJ company so we had a lot of expectations when it came to working with a DJ and Darrin far surpassed all of these expectations. Shortly before the wedding after I had sent in all of my songs to Darrin he was sure to set up one last phone call with me to go over all final details. This was the phone call that made me so confident that I had chosen him to be a part of our special day because it was during this phone that I realized that this wasn't just a job to him, he genuinely cared about us and our day. Darrin was sure to ask a lot of questions about my guests to ensure that he adjusted his plan/style to best fit the crowd that he would be working with. I always loved speaking with Darrin because he was so easy to talk to and personable and he definitely seems like a person that I would want to be friends with in life. On the wedding day Darrin was sure to find me before the ceremony to tell me that I looked beautiful and do one final check to see if there was anything I needed. Darrin provided the music for both the ceremony as well as the reception. Everything during the ceremony was timed perfectly and sounded wonderful. Darrin was able to quickly transition into the cocktail hour/reception and the night ran so fluidly without a single fluke. I was so happy that Darrin was able to work with my coordinator so that not a single beat was missed. What really put me over the edge and made me so happy/proud that I chose to work with Darrin was the fact that your wedding day goes by so quickly and there were so many songs that I wanted to make sure were played at some point and Darrin made it a priority to play every single song that I told him was important to me. This made me so incredibly happy that words cannot even explain. I recommend Darrin a hundred times over and thank him so much for making my wedding day such a dream.

Darrin was amazing. He was very responsive during the whole process He made everything go so smooth for two people who have never thrown a party like this before. He took his time to walk us through everything. We had a great day and are going to miss talking with him. I will definitely recommend him and use him in the future.

I cannot recommend Darrin Shifrel and his company enough! They created the PERFECT night for us. Darrin met with us and made sure that he knew exactly how we wanted our night to go... and he executed the plan to a T! He was incredibly professional and fun, and there was no cheesy antics that some DJs do. We were beyond pleased, and I cannot imagine having any better music/entertainment for our wedding day! Plus, Darrin helped us also rent chairs/drapes/uplighting from Orlando Wedding Party Rentals... such a smooth and seamless process! Thanks for making our wedding the GREATEST party of our lives!

Darrin was not only a great DJ, but acted as a second day of coordinator in many ways. He worked closely with our other vendors to make sure our day went smoothly. Planning process was so easy and he made sure our every request was met. HIGHLY recommend!

Darrin was everything we could have wanted plus more from a DJ. He not only provided us with the exact style of music we wanted, but he checked in on us multiple times throughout the planning process to see if there was anything he could do to further help. He was great and a really sincere vendor. He has an extensive list of songs, in which you choose your favorites so he can get a better idea of your style. That helped my fiancé and I greatly. We had so much fun filling out the forms as well. We even had the father of the groom sing the mother/son dance and Darrin never skipped a beat. He was very accommodating and was able to download the song and make that moment even more special for the groom and I. We asked Darrin to play music that would keep our guests on the dance floor and the groom, myself, and guests danced all night long to the perfect selection of music. We were literally sweating, because we were dancing so much! We had a blast and Darrin went above and beyond! We couldn’t have chosen a better vendor for this very crucial task of keeping the party alive!

We were very pleased with having Darrin DJ our wedding at Highland Manor. We first saw Darrin in action as the MC at one of our venue’s food tastings, and we were impressed with his level of professionalism and style. Darrin takes excellent note of type of music you want to hear and make sure it’s played at the event. We liked the level of familiarity Darrin had with our venue (Highland Manor), as he knew exactly how to set up his equipment in the reception ballroom and had worked with our venue coordinator. Darrin smoothly transitioned between the events at our reception, as well as provided sound for our ceremony. We used Fun Factory for lights, heater rentals, and DJ services - all of them were perfect! Darrin was so easy to work with and extremely flexible throughout the entire process. He helped meet our budget and make sure we had planned for everything we might need. Day-of, everything was setup extremely quickly. David was our DJ day-of and was just wonderful! He even went around the tables and asked if anyone needed a drink during dinner! Kept checking in on us to make sure we had what we needed, and everyone had a blast dancing to the extremely fun tunes! He was professional, but still got the party going. It was perfect. I highly recommend using Fun Factory.

Darrin did such an awesome job as the DJ at our reception! He was great with getting our bridal party organized for the entrance and his experience and professionalism just continued from there! He picked the right songs for the right times throughout the night and kept everyone on the dance floor (even people who don't dance were out there having a blast!). Darrin even frequently checked on us to see if there was anything we needed or wanted him to play, etc. We got a lot of compliments on the music and it definitely appealed to multiple generations! Darrin is very friendly and will work with you to customize your playlist so you have what you want (and don't want).

At first, we were hesitant to hire a DJ from a company that handles so many party details (DJs, tents, lighting, linens, etc.). But from our first experience with our DJ from Fun Factory Entertainment, my husband and I knew we wouldn't need to look any further. Our DJ, Darrin, was awesome! He was familiar with our venue and knew exactly where to set everything up. We spoke with him several times prior to our event to work out details so that he knew the music we preferred and what we didn't want to have as well as the types of events and order of events during the reception. We had never hired a DJ before, and he guided us through the whole process and made everything so easy. Darrin always had a positive attitude, was always willing to answer all the questions we had, and was great at getting back to us right away when we contacted him.

Darrin was a really great guy to work with. He checked in by email and telephone numerous times leading up to the wedding. He provided us with a list of songs to choose from and let us add some of our own favorites. He got people out on the floor to dance. He had dance floor lighting and stars that danced on the ceiling. He kept the evening flowing. Really great personality.

It is VERY easy for me to give Darrin 5 stars, I would give him 10 if I could! The wedding music was everything I had asked for and the party was so much fun, I didn't want it to ever end. I couldn't believe it when I found out that it was 10 pm and the night was ending!! We had a very specific music list that we wanted to played and Darrin executed it perfectly. I loved my music so much that I now have an Ipod playlist with all the songs on it that I listen to all the time! As a DJ, he was not cheesy at all. He is extremely professional and so nice to work with. He called and emailed at all the right times to make sure everything was in order. He really wanted to make the night special for us! All night he kept asking me if he could get me a drink! I thought that was so sweet. My family and friends are STILL raving about the music and the wedding was over a month ago. We also used Fun Factory for a photo booth rental. I highly recommend doing that if it is something that you can afford! All of the guests had a great time putting on silly hats and glasses and taking fun photos with everybody. My husband and I had a great time in the photobooth! We have the coolest pictures to show everyone now and you get to leave with an album of ALL the pictures that night! SO awesome! Hiring Darrin was one of the best decisions I ever made. He made the night absolutely perfect and I am so thankful to him!

I used Fun Factory Entertainment for my wedding earlier this month. I had been in contact during the planning process with Darrin, who I believe is the owner but also a DJ. He was very kind and attentive to needs. Once the day got closer I found that I would be working with another DJ in the company named David. He was very nice and helpful during our first and only meeting a few days before the wedding (I lived out of town and it was difficult to meet with him any earlier). He did a very nice job on the day of, although some of the dinner music was not to my liking and not what I asked for, the rest of the night went fairly well. One problem I did have is that I tipped him in the form of a generous check in the beginning of the night yet when my guests asked to request a song (even though we asked him not to accept requests) he told them he would only play their song if they tipped him. I found this to be a bit classless. Other than that, I really have no complaints and would recommend the company to others. While they are a bit pricey, they are good at their jobs.

We decided to go with Fun Factory after meeting with other DJ's because they came highly recommend and the were very familiar with our reception site, Courtyard at Lake Lucerne. I'm so glad we did. They were wonderful. Both Darren and David were super helpful during the planning process, returned calls promptly, and we were able to rent the extra chairs and outdoor heaters we needed from them also. David was our DJ and he did an excellent job keeping everyone dancing. He made sure all our announcements were made and made sure our reception ran smoothly. He truly was a key player in our reception being absolutely perfect. He was also extremely tolerant of our 4 children who kept requesting some very "colorful" booty shaking music. So lucky to have worked with these guys.

Darrin is AWESOME! I really can't say more than that but I'll try. He is super organized and really helped us think about how we wanted the whole ceremony and reception structured musically. The music lists and reception planning sheets were invaluable - we had no idea where to start. He was always so friendly and willing to answer my silly questions throughout the planning process - and I had a lot. He was also quick on his feet during the reception - at the last minute, we had to change the father/daughter dance song as my dad was having some mobility issues and he couldn't dance fast. Darrin was at my dad's table in a flash to lend some recommendations for alternate songs that would still be special. He also kept an eye on my dad during the dance so that my dad could give him "the sign" that the song should begin to fade as he needed to sit down again. There wasn't a dry eye in the house! Dancing went on until the very last moment of the reception and the last two songs had the floor packed with everyone. Thank you!!!!!

Darrin at Fun Factory is great. Very easy and fun to work with. However, we spent over a month hand picking our list of music for our big day, and the DJ we were sent had a little trouble with our list. There were songs played that we did not want played and were not on the list. When asked why he was playing songs not on the list he replied that we had already run through all the songs which was impossible as cocktail hour was not even over and we provided approx 3 hours of cocktail music. Plus, our cake cutting song was played during cocktail hour. Our DJ, David was, however very sweet and accommodating

We could not have asked for a more professional and efficient DJ as Darrin at Fun Factory Entertainment! Darrin at Fun Factory was recommended to us by our caterer. She was spot on with that recommendation. He was quick to return our first call to set up a meeting with him and was great once met with. We also rented our chairs from Darrin and his company which came out wonderfully and made the perfect touch to our wedding reception. Darrin did a great job sending us a complete packet to fill out including stories about the bride and groom. Who was walking with who, who to announce at the reception as special notation like grandparents and also made us fill out the worlds longest list of music to be played while there. I was glad in the long run that we filled it out, but boy was he thorough when he made that list! The day of the wedding, Darrin could not have been more helpful. We did not have a wedding planner so whenever something needed to be done or we needed to be somewhere he would be giving us our 10 min. heads up to make sure that we were where we needed to be, when we needed to be. He went above and beyond, because that wasn't his job but he did it for us anyway - thank goodness. The music he also played was extremely well timed and was very reflective of what Daniel and I were looking for. The dance floor was packed the entire night!!!

Darrin from Fun Factory is a great DJ! He's very easy going but also very professional. He completely put me at ease about the events of the reception. I was a little worried about the flow, but he was the ultimate emcee. The reception was seamless and fun! We danced all night! For music, I was stumped on what to play so I basically told him what I didn't like and he built around that. The music was awesome, we got compliments on the choices! We also used Fun Factory for market lighting (so reasonably priced) and a photo booth, which everyone loved. I loved working with Darrin and Fun Factory!

DJ Darrin and Fun Factory Entertainment made my wedding day even more special than I could've imagined. Darrin made my husband and I feel like we were walking on air all night. He took care of the major details and allowed us the pleasure of just ENJOYING the night (which sounds like no big deal but when your wedding night flies by, which it will, you will appreciate having those extra moments to enjoy it all!). The music selections at our wedding were exactly what we were looking for and the up-lighting provided through Fun Factory Entertainment was just beautiful. I truly believe that my wedding day wouldn't have been what it was without my amazing DJ. I got so many compliments from friends, family, young and old. I would definitely, without a doubt, recommend Darrin and Fun Factory Entertainment to everyone I know!

I used Darrin from Fun Factory entertainment. He was amazing!!!! There is not a single bad thing I could say but rather sing his praises. He was one of our best vendors and went out of his way before, during, and after the event to make sure we had a memorable event with everything we wanted. His customer service was OUTSTANDING!! book this DJ for your wedding and do it early as he gets booked quickly for a year out. We paid a little extra for his services compared to other DJs but SOOO worth it.

DJ Darrin was the DJ at my wedding and he did a fantastic job. He kept the party going and played awesome music and made sure the bridal party had food and drinks before and after the ceremony. Such a nice guy and they are always quick to answer questions and go over all the details of how you want the reception to go.

My husband was the driving force behind the DJ and music. Our DJ was professional yet was able to get people dancing and having fun. My dad didn't care for him but I think it was because he wouldn't play the song he want which was on my do not play list. Additional, we had the DJ take care of our ceremony music. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but he did an amazing job. It was like he wasn't there at all and the music was flowing from the clouds.

Darrin was the BEST DJ! He was so professional and PERSONABLE all the times we talked before the wedding. He really made me feel like he cared about every detail of my wedding, GENUINELY. The day of, his assistant and himself were so wonderful and so many people told me how great they thought he was and how much fun they had. He is very laid back and conveys that vibe to the guests, but also keeping them on their toes and interested in having fun and dancing. He also did a great job of coordinating w/ me and the groom about when it was time to cut cake, etc.

Darrin from Fun Factory was our DJ and he was amazing! He was a huge help during our wedding planning process. He had great advice for our reception with choosing songs. He is a very nice person who truly cares that your wedding day is just the way you want it. He even called me the week of the wedding just to make sure that everything was going well and we were enjoying our final week! The night of the wedding he did not play any of the songs we didn't want played. He was great at choosing what songs to play depending on how the guests were responding. He did not get on the microphone and make anyone come on the dance floor (which my husband really liked!). He did a great job at making sure our reception went smoothly and flowed from one event to the next. Our guests commented many times at how nice of a guy he was and I agree! His personality is great! I would highly recommend him for a wedding!

Darrin from fun factory was so easy to work with and was always very quick to respond to my calls and answer any questions I had.
