he planning before our wedding was fabulous and we knoew that on the day they would take care of ewverything - and THEY did!! Their pictures were great - artistic, one of a kind. They worked GREAT with our 5 year old boys and the pictures were better than we could have ever wished!

HUGE part of that. Their pictures speak for themselves, and are very impressive. I was less than ten pictures into their portfolio when I knew we had to hire them. We shot our engagement pictures with James last November and they came out beautifully. My father, an amateur photographer, was blown away, along with the rest of our families. We knew we were in good hands for the big day, but what impressed us most was how easy and fun it was to work with them and how that made the day, which has the potential for being insanely stressful, worry-free. We called James a week before the wedding as my wife wanted to make sure everything was in order for the big day. James worked with us closely to outline a schedule and coordinate when we would need to be at certain locations. At the end of the call he told us: “On October 29th, you don’t need to stress about the schedule or if everything goes according to plan. If something comes up, we will manage and move on. Just relax, have fun.” This put us at ease, and we felt more confident than ever that we had made the right choice. That Saturday, James worked with the girls as they got ready, and Alice came to take pictures of the guys. James was on time, pleasant, and professional as usual. It was the first time I had met Alice, and I was immediately a fan. We put ourselves in her hands and she directed us effortlessly and covered the whole “getting ready” flawlessly. She laughed at all of our stupid jokes and made the whole process a lot of fun. At one point, as I’m not used to being photographed, I would hold my position to help her get the shot. She told me: “Just be natural, I’ll get it.” From that point, her camera clicks faded into the background, and produced some really stunning candid photos. Later in the day, when we all came together, James and Alice worked together to cover the pre-ceremony group pictures. At times, they would both be snapping away, at other times, James would set up a really nice shot, and Alice would position the light and keep our energy up, while still laughing at our jokes. They both directed sixteen people with ease and stuck to an incredibly tight schedule. During the reception, they covered every inch of the grand ballroom, took photo requests from guests, and perhaps most impressively, did so without being intrusive. I wouldn’t have even known they were there without seeing them in other people's pictures! My favorite moment came after my best man’s speech. I am big into television and he wrote and delivered a perfect toast referencing some of my favorite shows. As I was praising him for job well done, James came up to get a photo, and told my best man: “The speech was good, but I really think these people need to curb their enthusiasm.” I had thought highly of James before that, but that put him over the top. The bottom line: Yes, the wedding is about the bride and groom. But if you want that day to live on forever, you need great photographers at the forefront. You can look at any of James’ and Alice’s photographs and know they are the right people for the job. Easy. Hired! But there’s so much more to be said for working with photographers who not only put you at ease, but who add to your celebration. They were the perfect people for the job, and they did a perfect job.

ed photos as gifts to our parents, our wedding album- all were truly Breathtaking as they came out much more beautiful than we expected. I was looking for a wedding photographer that did work out-of-the-ordinary. I did not want the traditional wedding photo coverage but nothing over-the-top either. And that is what we got - truly a Fine Art Masterpiece! Classy, Simple and Beautiful! Pictures are so vivid and really a work of Fine Art. As the bride, I teared up just looking at the final wedding photos and it brought me back to my special day. Alice and James are very easy to work with and will work with you through every detail until you are satisfied. They truly understand how hectic and frustrating it can be and the demands that entail throughout the wedding planning process. It was our pleasure working with such an experienced and professional wedding photography team, they will certainly be on our top wedding vendor recommendation! Again, many thanks to Funico Studios for bringing back beautiful memories... that will be treasured for a lifetime. Nicely Done!

From our engagement photo session (at which James stayed about an extra 30 minutes in order to get the best shots possible during dusk) to the amazing photos they managed to get at the wedding to the timeliness of receiving our wedding photos when they had been promised, we were so happy with our decision! At the end of the day, the photos are really the only thing you get to keep (other than your new spouse!), and Alice and James truly captured the day for us! I can't recommend them highly enough!

Alice put together a slideshow for us to share with family and friends while waiting for the rest of the photos, our photographer and videographer did an awesome job easy to work with they make us so comfortable doing all the photos. Words cannot even describe how satisfied I am with James and his wife Alice and the rest of the FUNICO team. I am very impressed with the service this vendor provided to us, and highly recommend them! You just found your BEST wedding photographers and videographers you can find. They are very photo journalistic style, capturing the raw emotion of the day and allowing people to enjoy themselves without intrusive photographers. I was scared to email and ask about pricing as I assumed it would be way out of budget since they were fantastic photos but they were realistic and willing to work with a budget. Alice and James are extremely friendly and grounded people that make you feel right at home when you meet them. I should be getting our photos soon and I can not wait to see them! If they are half as nice as the ones from previous weddings we are in for a real treat.
