he worked so well with us and our daughter. I absolutely hate how I look in photos and I loved every single one Natalie sent us. She is so easy to work with too! On top of it all she made us the sweetest photo album! We are beyond excited to work with her for our wedding and it is the one vendor I don’t have to worry about at all!!

an overall timeline for the day. She sent me over 800 photos and I am very happy with how they turned out. I loved seeing pictures of details that I was too busy to appreciate on the day of. She is very experienced with how weddings go (obviously) and will give you advice on a lot of things! Originally I thought about just having a friend take my wedding pictures... but I’m so happy I hired Natalie. She worked really hard for 8 hours straight!

lly hate how I look in photos, I hate it *so* much, and this frickin' alchemist, this wizard, made me LOVE MY OWN IMAGE. I'm so used to looking like a weird garden gnome next to my partner, and I couldn't get enough of how great we looked together in Natalie's pictures! He was blown away as well, and kept cycling between commenting on her incredible photography (it's a hobby for him,) and how much he loves the way we look. The end result is spectacular, of course, but it wouldn't have been without her fantastic sense of humor, her patience, and her commitment to capturing the best possible shot. At one point - and this was not a requirement, but it was still impressive - she got down in the sand on her belly to achieve the perfect angle. She's a true artist and a lovely person who knows how to work the environment you're in to showcase your relationship. I feel genuinely lucky to have found her, so lock this one down, guys!

and thoroughly to our communications - She was friendly and flexible, willing to work with us as plans shifted around in the lead-up to the wedding - She went the extra mile to meet up with us when she happened to be in the area after we moved cross-country - this was great! - Very personable and down-to-earth - Well-organized website let us input our preferences for photos with ease and efficiency - She had the flow down great to get everyone through photos pre and post-ceremony The Product: - Absolutely in love! No regrets whatsoever, very glad we hired Natalie. The photos came out even better than I expected!! She caught so many great moments between my husband and I, the guests, the bridal party, etc. - If you like the examples of her work, go for it! Natalie rocks!

appreciated that the photos she brought were not all models, but those of real people. She was able to make me and my husband very comfortable, even though my husband is extremely introverted and I'm not good at posing. Our pictures came out so beautifully - I couldn't be happier! She really keyed into our personalities and got some delightful ones of us being silly and even indulged me by getting a few of us and some otters at our venue. She is incredibly sweet, and she was honestly my favorite vendor that I worked with for our wedding!

She made an effort to relate to us as a couple (and as fellow nerds), which made communicating with her super easy and stress-free. She also put my camera-shy husband at ease, which is no small feat. Most importantly, the photos came out amazing! They're full of life, color, and joy, which is how I'd like to remember my wedding day. Plus, I still cry every time I watch the video slideshow album she put together. She's so, so talented. I would absolutely recommend Natalie to anyone who needs a wedding photographer. You won't be disappointed!

She did an amazing job on the day of -- staying professional and calm, even when navigating family land mines (divorced/remarried parents), getting pics of infants and toddlers and even working through motion sickness! We didn't realize until several months later when she posted our wedding on her blog that she had motion sickness due to our wedding cruise.

Our wedding was a bit non-traditional (no groomspeople getting ready together, no "first look", no photoshoot during "cocktail hour") but she accommodated our every wish and even made the family pictures fun. The pictures turned out amazing!! She caught some really fleeting moments, from my husband locking us out of the getting-ready-location to catching the Muni bus passing behind us to his excited face when he saw the food. She even made us a cute slideshow video with some of the best pictures!

She's there for all the those intimate moments and just felt like having another family member there who also happens to be a fantastic photographer! She was great at corralling my family together for beautiful family photos but most of my favorite ones are the ones where she was just being a sneaky ninja of awesome shots! She captured the real joy people were having and the tender moments that couldn't possibly be recreated. I would recommend Natalie to anyone!! But especially to people like me who want a self-sufficient artist, who will show up promptly and just be amazing than hire Natalie! For the most part I really did just let her do her own thing and I couldn't be happier with the results!! Plus she made the hard to please mother-in-law happy, really can you ask for more!? Seriously though! Just go to her website, if the beautiful pictures don't convince you enough then meet her, because her beautiful soul will!

ew things we were prepared to shell out big bucks on -- because when it's all said and done, all you have are each other, your rings, and your photos. So we knew early on that great photos were a priority for us. And boy, did Natalie deliver!!! I was immediately attracted to Natalie's style: brilliant vibrant colors, delicious buttery golden light, breathtaking panoramas! She has such a marvelous eye for framing and light, and her clean images are delightfully refreshing in this age of overdone Instagram filters. Her shooting style is photojournalistic, so you get photos of events as they unfolded naturally -- not so much the super polished, hyper-dramatic posed shots you see from some other wedding photographers. Nevertheless, Natalie will help pose you for some shots if you need, so you can relax and let your love shine. And although she's billed as a photographer for geeks, she's fully capable of handling a non-geeky wedding. Natalie is totally nonjudgmental and open to all cultures, faiths, orientations, and fandoms. We opted for the engagement shoot in addition to wedding coverage, which I highly recommend. We were absolutely blown away when we got the engagement photos back. To be totally honest, I love them just as much as (or even more than) some of our wedding pics! But even now, six months after the wedding, I go back to our wedding photos and suddenly fall in love with one or two that I didn't pay as much attention to before, which I think really says something about how beautiful all of them are -- so beautiful you can't even take them all in at once. She got pretty much all of the important shots we requested, plus so many lovely little moments we missed in the whirlwind of the day. The compliments have been endless, and it's all the result of Natalie's hard work. Natalie is punctual, well-organized, and cares deeply about getting you the best images possible. We thought that her prices were more than fair. It's an incredible deal for the quality of work she produces, and she could easily charge so much more (although I'm happy she didn't!). Now that it's all over, I still find myself hankering to see more of Natalie's swoon-worthy work, so I continue to stalk her blog and Facebook page. tl;dr: Just go look at her website -- the photos speak for themselves. So hurry up and hire Natalie already!!!!!

shots. When she showed us our photos, my husband and I were completely blown away! She has a tremendous eye for capturing personal moments, posed portraits and large and small architectural details (since we were in SF City Hall). Our friends and family were also so impressed. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I chose her. She impressed me so much due to her organized and well-informed packets that she had ready to go on the very first meeting. It made my job a breeze as all I had to do was check boxes on what pictures I wanted.
