Manny and the entire Fusion DL team were absolutely incredible and people have been raving about our music for months after the wedding! The band pieces playing the instrumental parts of the song were unbelievable and it made it 10000x better and our guests didn’t leave the dance floor. To my surprise, one of the members sang two slow songs during dinner and it was amazing! Everyone was amazed and couldn’t believe how amazing he was! Manny and the entire fusion team had my whole wedding dancing the entire night! The saxophone was also unbelievable and everyone was hyping the band players up all night! ABSOLUTELY book Fusion DL for your wedding and you’ll be sooo happy you did!!

Here's the TL;DR - Fusion DL's selling point is a unique blend between a live band and a DJ. They were doing it before it became a trend, and trust me, they do that well! However, I'd argue that their true strength is the efficiency in which they get it all done. With Fusion, a bride and groom will be able to think less, enjoy the performance, and trust that everything is well in hand! More from the groom: The 2021 wedding season has been PACKED full of weddings that were rescheduled due to the pandemic. Manny and his colleagues were no less busy than everyone else. However, I was happy to discover that Manny was able to make time for calls and emails while we discussed plans for my wedding's cocktail hour and reception. We ultimately booked a pianist for the cocktails hour and a sax, drums, and DJ for the reception. Between an eclectic music selection, last minute instrument additions, and a special request from my sister (who borrowed a keyboard from Fusion for her singalong "toast"), Manny was courteous and accommodating. On the day of the wedding, Fusion worked with the venue to set up early and planned ahead for cake cutting, dance breaks, etc. My wife and I left A LOT of the decision-making to Fusion and we're glad we did! Our wedding suffered from that perfect storm of last-minute cancelations, crowd aversion, and a swath of pregnancies that can only occur on the heels of a global pandemic. I was VERY afraid too few guests would be willing to dance, let alone enjoy themselves. Fortunately, Fusion DL had it covered. They did a fantastic transition from great classics that really showcased the band into your classic "DJ dance music" as more people found their way to the bar and then the dancefloor. My guests were happy and my wife and I enjoyed ourselves (despite friends telling us that the happy couple will be too busy to have fun). Many thanks to Fusion DL for a great time!

Fusion DL was AMAZING for our wedding! Manny and the band exceeded our expectations and were exactly what we dreamed of for our wedding day music. Our guests loved the blend of live and DJed music and talked about it weeks after the wedding. We had to postpone due to Covid and they made it so easy and stress free- they were organized, punctual, and just awesome people. My husband especially loved the sax :) We ordered a photo booth which was so fun as well. I would definitely recommend Fusion DL to everyone!!

Like so many other couples, we are having to change our plans due to Covid-19. That being said, we figured reaching out to Fusion DL would be an easy conversation to get our deposit back DUE TO COVID-19 AKA- A WORLDWIDE PANDEMIC/ACT OF GOD! We were wrong. We emailed Fusion DL when our venue, not us, the couple, canceled since they are not allowing outside guests into the gates due to COVID-19. Fusion's response was we can give you a credit and not return our deposit. Apparently we were the "only couple" that isn't rescheduling for next year. First, don't compare us to every couple since each couple has different circumstances. Second, since our guest list is going from 200 people to 20 people, there's no need for a DJ (awkward am I right?!) We are adhering to NY's mandate of no more than 50 people to allow for proper social distancing. Third, our venue is being renovated as of a month after our original date and won't be available for 2 years. Therefore, unlike “every other couple” we can’t reschedule since we don’t know if the venue will ever be available again even if they said approx.. 2 years. So, we aren't waiting for 2 years. Perhaps Fusion DL thinks we are supposed to contact them to see if they have that date/time/venue available again 2 years down the road? We asked for our deposit back, got a vague email response, then haven't heard from them. We emailed them 3 times, called 3 times, by the way, their phone number wouldn't connect...hmm interesting. This COVID-19 tragedy is neither our fault nor theirs. We were just asking to receive our deposit back so we can move on and have our small ceremony elsewhere. An ACT OF GOD and/or Force Majeure is absolutely valid in this case. Obviously, we would have loved to have our wedding as planned and with Fusion DL. However, that can't happen. How Fusion DL has handled this situation is absolutely terrible. Would not recommend! P.S. Make sure you read the contract really well since they took 50% deposit as opposed to the 30% deposit in the contract.

Fusion DL is such a unique band/DJ combination. We booked them for our wedding after seeing perform at a good friends wedding. We booked the flutist for the ceremony, sax player for cocktail hour along with sax player, procession and guitarist with the DJ for the reception. The planning process was so easily to complete and we felt very comfortable trusting them to do a great job. We loved them and got many compliments on how amazing they were! They really felt the vibe of the guests/party and had great music selection! There were people on the dance floor ALL night long!! Highly recommend!

Fusion was absolutely perfect for our wedding day! We wanted the band "feel" with the flexibility of a DJ, and boy, did they deliver. Several of our guests said it was by far the best wedding music they had ever experienced and these were the same people that hire $15K bands for their kids' weddings. The blueprint we filled out had them playing all of our favorite songs (across genres) - so much so that the groom sweat through his shirt (multiple times). Not to mention that the value simply cannot be beat. Do not pass go, do not collect $200 - book Fusion DL immediately!

John, Manny and team were spectacular. We sat down with them in person more than once, and they were able to share many videos and samples of their work. We wanted real musicians (not just someone ruining a song by playing a tacky electric violin over it in unscripted fashion). It was original, beautiful music with real instruments and singers. They were able to play any song we requested, including "old time road" with Eric singing and playing the guitar. They were very accommodative and flexible, and they were able to play for the ceremony (no need to hire extra trios or quartets) and split up into groups to play during the cocktail hour (we had both indoor and outdoor spaces), and then were seamlessly able to evolve into more DJ/mainstream music for the later part of the reception. Manny (DJ) even stayed an extra hour for us by request so we could keep dancing! Their marketing is a little dated, but don't let that deter you. They are real musicians at a more reasonable price than a full band that all play the same exact unoriginal "wedding songs" you'll hear at every other wedding. THANK YOU JOHN AND MANNY!

Fusion DL made my wedding complete. Mannys company came as a very high recommendation and I couldn't have been more thrilled. Their creativity and the fusion of band and DJ blew my guests away. I couldn't have asked for more. they are also extremely accommodating and easy to work with. Valerie in their office is so sweet and responds back immediately which when you're dealing with vendors is not usually the case. overall loved the experience!!

For my wedding, I had the dream team of vendors....taking center stage (literally) was Fusion DL. From the moment I met with Manny I knew that we had to have them and the Fusion 6 for our special day. And WOW, my expectations were more than fulfilled! Manny and John along with all of their musicians are something truly special and have perfected a real art form. The cross between real musicians and Dj/Mc bring your wedding to an entirely new level of hype. Every single person at my wedding was dancing and loving the music. I want to start off by saying this is the first review I have ever written in my life so for me to come on here and do so must mean that manny and his crew are THAT good!! Let me tell you they were beyond anything I ever expected!!! Unfortunately due to my sick mother in law we had to move our wedding up last minute so i called manny legit a week before my wedding. From the second we spoke on the phone I knew I could trust him to fulfill my wedding music dreams. He was so extremely responsive and attentive. He had me fill out a blueprint that was so well organized. Part of it was a request section for your music. Me and my husband put down probably 8 hours worth of song requests on there ( we are both big music people) from the fun classic oldies to the new age top hits manny can cover it all! drake, Beyoncé, TI, kygo, madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews, Michael Jackson, even the Spanish hip hop ( my husband is Salvadoran) ! I thought since manny and his band only had 1 week to prepare there was no way they could/ would only play the music we requested but I was sooo wrong. Manny and his crew learned every song I requested and did not play a single one I didn’t want!! The band Dj combo was incredible I was talking about the music with one of my guests the next morning and she goes “wait there was a Dj also??? Could have fooled me!!” She thought it was all live music from the band the whole night haha! But really that’s how amazing they are!! They even take song requests from guests during the wedding!!! I can whole heartedly without any doubts in my mind say that if you choose manny and his crew for your wedding day you will not be disappointed!! And your wedding will be a hit!! Fusion DL was absolutely amazing from start to finish! When we first met with Manny he took his time and walked us through Fusion DL 'secret recipe' and showed us videos and answered any questions we had all the way up to the day of the wedding. The music for ceremony and cocktail hour was perfect. Fusion DL had every single one of our guests dancing the entire night! Friends and family were raving about the music to me and my husband all night! We also had Fusion DL provide uplighting, which made the room look GORGEOUS as well as Zap Photos and had our initials in the middle of the dance floor which definitely added that extra special touch. I could not recommend Fusion DL enough! They went above and beyond!

We had the best experience with Fusion DL. About 4 years ago, my brother used the Fusion DL for their wedding and knew we had to do the same! From the very beginning, Manny, John, and staff were super accommodating easy to work with. Not only do you fill out a very detailed/guided blueprint, but you work directly with the owners. Before the big day, Manny took the time to review the music and how the night would flow. They DID NOT disappoint. Everything went so smoothly and went exactly how we discussed. If you are torn between having a dj or a band, DJ fusion is the PERFECT combination of both. They made our wedding beyond awesome. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. Wow, where do I start?! My husband and I used Fusion DL for our wedding on 7/5/19. I originally wanted a DJ due to the fact that my family is Colombian and I wanted specific Colombian music played at my wedding. My husband wanted a band. My husband was recommended Fusion DL by a coworker and when he told me about them we decided to meet with them. We were so impressed they ended up being the first and only company we even considered for our wedding. Thank goodness we found them because they absolutely killed it! They were able to navigate our guests and play the perfect balance of different music. Our dance floor was packed the entire night! We just received our photos back and the happiness on everyone’s faces while dancing are priceless. You can tell everyone was having a blast because of Fusion DL. Fusion DL did a wonderful job for my daughter’s wedding. We had them playing for the Ceremony, Cocktail and Reception. Our guests just loved them. John and Manny executed the whole thing beautifully. I must say John was always available and generous with his time. We met with him several times, he explained every detail from music genre, to technique to logistics, as Fusion DL technique is unique with the combination of live musicians and tracks. We had the DJ, 4 musicians and a combination of 6 musical instruments, which made it easy to meet all our needs for all parts of the wedding event. It was lovely. We even had a special 30 minutes performance from the outside, and I must say Fusion DL team was very cooperative and ensured that everything went smoothly. I highly recommend them with full confidence.

Amazing job. The dance floor was packed the whole wedding. People would only leave to go grab a bite to eat and then run back to dance. The unique mix Fusion offers really hit a home run. Family and friends have gone out of their way to tell me how much they enjoyed the music and how much fun they had. I recommend really diving into the blueprint and finding songs that you and your significant other really want to hear because Fusion will deliver and your experience will be amazing.

The absolute best music ever. The entire staff was professional, punctual, soooooo much fun. They left nothing that we requested out. I can't keep up with the calls and text messages of how great they were. No one was sitting the whole night. We all loved them !

Manny and John and their team were an amazing vendor start to finish. They took the time to get to know us, listen to our likes and dislikes and tailor the music accordingly. Our ceremony and intro music was perfectly on point and our dance floor stayed full from the minute I finished dancing with my dad to the minute we chanted “one more song” .The ad libs they took were with songs we forgot to request and wished we had, so that you guys for knowing what we wanted even when we did not! And I would be remiss to say that the energy created by the band/dj hybrid and the level of talent their team has was like being at the best concert/dance party ever. We are already trying to figure out when we can use them again! Fun, personalized, top of the line music and even better people !

We paid for Fusion DL's highest package and did not regret it for a minute. They were professional and courteous to work with throughout the whole process, and we found their blueprint to create our playlist very helpful in choosing what songs they'd play at our wedding. Our guests raved about their energy and performance and we literally did not leave the dance floor all night. Fusion DL was amazing!! My husband and I couldn't decide if we wanted a band or DJ and wound up meeting with a lot of both types of vendors but were never satisfied. Fusion DL was the answer to all our problems. John and Manny knew exactly the type of vibe we were going for and kept the dance floor packed all night. I can not rave enough about what a superb job the Fusion DL team did at my wedding. From the days leading up checking in and helping with our preference sheet, to not having to worry about ANYTHING the night of. Everyone was dancing the entire night because there was such a great mix of songs from different eras. My favorite thing was the smooth transition from song to song and there were never any unwanted interruptions. The percussionist did a great job and added flare to the whole ensemble. You can not go wrong with this team!

I had Fusion DL at my wedding this past Saturday and they were AMAZING!! They took the time to meet with me and my husband to review any special requests we had, and just to get to know us and see what we were looking for. It was such a personal experience. The best DJ in the business. We are so great full. that Fusion DL was a part of our wedding. All the music was perfect. Manny and John were perfect Master's of Ceremony. They kept our guests entertained and the party flowing. The guests had a great time dancing. All our requested songs were played. The ceremony music was flawless. They deserve to be in the hall of fame. A big shout out to their singer/secretary Valerie who was always on point with emails and processing information. We highly recommend them for any party.

Fusion DL knocked it out of the park. They do the band feel but vocals of any musician or DJ you'd like. It really is like nothing else. My husband and I are huge music people. We go to Coachella Valley Music Festival every year and our expectations were high...and Manny and John met them. They played a bunch of classic rock songs because I grew up listening to that and then would play some of our recommending songs that we didn't know if they would be able to figure out how to play (Alt-J, Portugal the Man, Cake - Short/Skirt Long Jacket) the best part is I am from the bay area (California) and I asked them to play this raunchy rap song and I was like are they going to be able to pull it off....and they played it as the last song and I told them to play a joke on my grandma saying the song was requested by her. It was everything!!!! For those curious the song is called Gangsters and Strippers hahahaha. Anyway they know when to censor songs vs. not....they will work with you on any detail. Fusion DL was one of the best decisions we made for my daughters wedding. We opted for the premium package which included percussion, sax , trumpet ,and guitar. These guys rocked the house as the seating area was largely abandoned due to the fact that everyone was on the dance floor. Aside from the amazing music experience these guys know weddings. The music walking down the aisle was perfectly orchestrated. Put your trust and confidence in FusionDL and get ready to have a blast ! My now husband and I knew that Fusion DL was going to be good from the very start. From the first meeting, to a couple meetings in between, phone calls, emails, and then the wedding day, Manny was attentive, sweet, helpful, fun, and made us feel so comforted knowing that our wedding music was in his hands. As a couple, we LOVE to dance with each other and our friends. It's one of our favorite things to do so we knew that our wedding had to encompass that for us. We were worried that dinner would be too long, or not enough dance music would play and Manny and his team made sure to wash all of our worries away. We had he BEST. TIME. EVER. One of my favorite moments from our entire wedding day was sitting down to dinner in our dreamy backyard tent as Amber by 311 played. It couldn't have been timed more perfectly. It was such a magical moment for not only me, but even some of our friends said the same thing about when that song played. Goosebumps! Not only did Fusion KILL all of the music we asked for, but they also surprised me with a rendition of Despacito on sax!!! Fusion also carried out all of our requests for ceremony music and they sounded so perfect I could cry just thinking about it. Take a picture by filter played as our bridal party entered the ceremony space and for myself, wonderwall on guitar. You know when you watch an awesome movie and it's just so much more awesome because the music in it is so good and you want to buy the whole soundtrack? That's how my wedding day felt. Every moment was enhanced because of a song and it really did feel like we were the stars of the most magical movie. Manny and Fusion DL thank you thank you thank you a million times over! You all helped to make our dream of a special backyard wedding come true. ❤

John and his team were all amazing! There was a point during our wedding when I didn't think the dance floor would be big enough because every single person was out of their seat. The music was perfect from start to finish. Would recommend to anyone looking for the DJ feel, with the live band aspect .

John and Manny were the absolute perfect choice for our wedding, and I can't recommend them highly enough. We'd actually seen them the year before at another friend's wedding, and we had such a good time (on the floor literally all night) that we knew we had to book them for ours. They run an incredible professional, understanding, and low-pressure outfit, and explained everything to us in a thorough and patient way. When we decided to add another band member a few months out, there was no issue at all, and once we explained why we wanted one (for our first dance, to Frankie Valli), they loved the idea. They played every song we wanted, none we didn't, and made sure our guests had an amazing time. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Everyone at Fusion was amazing! They were extremely easy to work with kept the party going all night long!!! They did their thing but played everything we wanted throughout the night. My sister used Fusion Dl for her wedding back in February 2014. After her wedding I knew that I would have to have them at my own wedding. When we first got engaged one of the first things we did was check Fusion Dl's availability because I knew that no one else could make my wedding as spectacular as they could. From the second we walked in the door to "formally" sit down with Manny and John, they just blew us away with their contagious fun attitudes and passion in what they do. We got married in November 2016 and the entertainment was flawless. From the flute player for my ceremony, Bongo drums for cocktail hour, and to the very last song of evening, It was absolutely perfect. Fusion Dl paid attention to every single detail and made sure my wedding dreams came true. They are absolute crowd pleasers and they were definitely the best part of my wedding. People can't stop telling me how incredible the music was. The dance floor was never empty and they did such a great job with engaging all my guests. To this day people are still asking where I found them. I have to give props to my sister on that one because without her I would have never had the wedding entertainment that Fusion Dl was able to provide us.

Manny did a wonderful job with both our cocktail hour and our reception. They had people dancing all night. I cannot tell you how many people came up and commented on what a great job they did. It was more reasonable then a full band, but with the same effect. We loved them!

We used Fusion DL for my daughter's wedding 2 years ago. 2 of her good friends also then used Fusion DL. Manny did an amazing job as DJ, assessing the crowd and getting everyone up to dance. I got married 6 months ago and my husband and I used Fusion DL as well. My daughter is in her 20's, I'm in my 50's, and they were fantastic. The saxophone, the flute, and the percussion made it sound like we had a full band at our weddings. I have no hesitation in giving them 5 stars.

Manny was amazing! We expressed how important it was to us to maximize our dancing time and he made sure of that. I would recommend DL Fusion a million times over. We had the guitarist Ray for our ceremony music and couldn't have imagined anything better. We got so many compliments on the music we chose and how much fun the wedding was. Fusion DL delivered all that was promised at our daughters wedding. The perfect compromise between a band and a DJ. The dance floor was full all night long and the energy level was awesome! My fiance and I are split between band and DJ. Upon researching hybrid options I came across Fusion DL and fell in love. I contacted John, one of the owners and also fell in love with him. John and Manny are great guys, very personable. We met with them in office and they gave us 3 HOURS of their time. They made us feel at home, offering us snacks and drinks while showing us what they had to offer. We were very happy with what they were offering us but had a few concerns. We definitely wanted a band option, and Fusion was giving us this. However, the band component had only done 1 gig and this made us unable to reach a decision and put our trust into the option without seeing them. This was the main reason we didn't end up going with them. However, if you are looking for a Non- full band option and would like the very cool option of having your music re-styled with live instruments, vocals, AND a DJ/MC, we definitely recommend working with John and Manny. My husband and I just used Fusion DL for their djing services at our wedding on 10/16/16. Upon our first meeting with Manny he made us feel at ease, which made the decision to use his services a simple one to make. Fusion DL was the only entertainment company that we met with during our wedding planning process. Manny arrived to the venue early to set up the microphone for the officiant and I knew that the day of I didn't have to worry about anything with the entertainment, he had it all taken care of. Manny was extremely accommodating and professional as I had specific requests regarding the first dance song and he suggested that instead of shortening the song, we invite other couples onto the dance floor to share in the moment with us. This helped to break the ice and get people up and moving, and it also let people share this special moment between my husband and I. Throughout the night Manny continued to play song after song that had people up and moving which was important for us and we stressed in our initial meeting. The dance floor was packed the entire night! He was also very concise and organized with the schedule of events throughout the night. Guest after guest raved about how amazing Manny was and some guests even took business cards for their upcoming weddings. Overall, I am so happy that I put my trust in Manny, he's been in the business for so long and definitely knows what he's doing. My wedding was a blast and I am so thankful for everything Manny did! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a high energy and fun wedding! Thanks again Fusion DL!

If your looking for a great combination of music this is the DJ to book, it's a DJ and band combined! Those regular DJ companies repeat the same thing and nothing is special about them. FusionDL takes their time to work on your wedding specifically for you. I had the DJ with a drummer, saxophonist and trumpist. They were all very professional and new how to play all the songs I requested. They also adjust the volume and bass throughout the night so there are no issues with people saying its too loud or anything. My mother enjoyed the sax the most and when her favorite song came on it made her night. We all had a lot of fun! I keep hearing that I had the best wedding so they certainly had a huge part in making that happen! Thank you FusionDL!

We cannot say enough positive things about Fusion DL. Manny, John, Valerie, and their team were amazing. From the first phone call, to the first meeting, until the end of our last song. Manny makes you feel like family. He was willing to work within our budget & helped us create the perfect look & vibe for our continuous cocktail reception!

Wedding was fabulous everyone was up dancing the whole time. Manny was so easy to deal with and accommodating- i even changed the intro song the day before....highly recommend Fusion DL- rare reviews from my guests- my husband and l couldn't be happier. They helped make our wedding great!
