We booked DJ El Sid & MC Medio Pollo for our wedding on 9/5/26. Fusion Function is an excellent DJ company to work with; everyone on their team is responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. DJ El Sid is well versed in all music genres and will help capture your cultural vision to life. MC Medio Pollo is amazing at hyping up a crowd in both English and Spanish which helped everyone at our wedding feel included. Leading up to the event, Sid and Medio Pollo met with us frequently to ensure all important details would be captured.
Lastly, if you’re on the fence on doing the Photo Booth, please do it! I’ve gotten several compliments on the Photo Booth, and have so many memories compiled from our event.

DJ Sid crushed it.
We used Fusion Function for our wedding this past week, and they did an absolutely incredible job. We worked directly with the founder of the company, DJ El Sid, and he made our night unforgettable. He kept the dance floor packed (hugely important for me personally - I wanted to dance all night!!), and his emcee-ing kept everyone engaged.
We chose Fusion Function because of their mission to honor and blend music and styles and traditions from different cultures in a way that feels seamless and welcoming. My new husband and I come from very different cultures, and DJ Sid did an excellent job bringing both of them to life at our wedding, making both families feel represented and valued. Sid himself has a background in Jamaican DJ culture, which is why we selected him specifically (my husband is Jamaican) - and he got the whole crowd dancing to dancehall throughout the night!
Sid kept the energy going all night, and he did a great job keeping guests informed of anything they may need to know (including making some announcements we didn't even think to ask him to make - like asking guests to sign our guestbook!! Thanks Sid, I am so glad you thought of that when I didn't!). He made the planning process so easy too, meeting with us regularly over Zoom to discuss our ideas and our progress and any questions we might have.
Overall, highly recommend working with this company (and with DJ Sid in particular). We got many comments about our excellent wedding playlist, and one of our wedding guests loved his DJing so much that she grabbed his business card during the reception to remember when planning her own upcoming wedding! Honestly I hope she does use him 😂
Thank you again, Sid - you did everything we asked for and more. The soundtrack to our day was flawless. I want to know every song you chose to pay so I can make a playlist of it to listen to and relive the night!

is Haitian, and he immediately seemed excited about the idea of blending music from both of our cultures. From that moment, we knew that we needed Fusion Function to provide DJ services for our wedding.
Sid and the entire team were amazing to work with from start to finish—super responsive, organized, and just genuinely great people. We specifically had DJ Stix and MC Excell. They kept everything flowing smoothly and made sure the energy never dropped for a second.
Music was really important to us, and they absolutely nailed it. The transitions were seamless, the mix felt intentional, and somehow every song hit at exactly the right moment. Fusion Function gave us everything we wanted. They blended music from both our cultures while incorporating top hits and some R&B classics.
My husband and I also realized we never picked out a last song, but we fully trusted DJ Stix to choose for us. Stix picked a song that matched the vibe of our wedding day perfectly and created such a special moment for us. It’s something we’ll truly never forget.

What really set Fusion Function apart was how much they cared and how responsive they were! From the very beginning of planning, Sid always listened to our preferences, understood our style, and made everything feel so personal. ely DJs at clubs which is exactly what we were looking for. He had everyone on their feet dancing from our younger crowd of friends and cousins to our older family and friends. You know it’s a good party when you have a dachshund do the limbo and the men’s ties transfer to their head haha. We got SO many compliments on the DJ from our guests!
Additionally, Sid did a fantastic job with the ceremony and grand entrances and dances, and MCing. We had 2-3 planning meetings with him via Zoom before the wedding, which were super helpful to get to know each other, ask questions, and share our music tastes and wishes. Fusion function also had an app where we could upload our songs for the ceremony, cocktail hour, entrances, first dances, and reception to keep everything organized and give Sid a vibe for our music style. It’s one thing to get people dancing, but when the little who NEVER dance join in, that takes a keen eye and ear, and frankly a ton of talent from both DJ Stix and Money Mav! DJ Stix nailed every song selection, from the classic beats that had our family grooving to the punk set that got our friends amped up!
But it wasn’t just the music. Mav’s magnetic energy pulled people onto the dance floor and kept the momentum alive (to a point that most of us were sore from dancing so hard the next day!) while Todd managed the photo booth chaos like a maestro, ensuring everyone enjoyed capturing memories in style, and that they had fun while waiting in line. And let’s not forget the vibe that DJ El Sid, Mrs. Fusion Function, and the rest of the team bring. The whole operation is professional, talented, kind, fun, and exceeded our expectations.
The highlight? The bridal party’s walk down the aisle to a very important song to us and our friends. It's a long song and we hoped it could be properly timed out so that we could hear all of it, but we knew it didn't matter all that much. DJ Stix didn’t just play the song; he delivered the entire, emotion-filled piece, hitting the crescendo in all its glory. That moment was more than just a soundtrack—it was magic. That's what they do. Fusion Function created a bunch of these core memories for us that we and all of our people are cherishing.
I cannot recommend the Fusion Function team highly enough. If you’re looking for a team to make your celebration not just good but REMARKABLE, look no further. Fusion Function will deliver.

an expert at engaging with our party. His website is also very user friendly and he checked in with us a few times before the big day. He was also a phenomenal MC. He ran an excellent hora (and one side of the family had never done the hora). Everyone had a blast!
But we saw him go from great to excellent in how thoroughly prepared he was. Only two hours into our reception, the entire town lost power! We were cooked. It was possible that the wedding was over. But if you can believe it, DJ El Sid brought a generator with him. He saved our reception. He also brought a few tower lights that kept the dance floor illuminated so that we could still dance.
Hire him! You will not be disappointed!

ut the entire planning process and the portal was so easy to use. We selected DJ Sid Entertainment services for their expertise and speciality for multi-cultural weddings. Our wedding was a Ghanaian and African-American wedding and the team was able to seamlessly meld both of these cultures together and create a magical experience for everyone to enjoy and have fun.
DJ Stix was great and perfectly curated and set the tone we were looking for. Our guests commented that the music was so good, and everyone had a song that they could vibe and dance to. His live mix throughout the night created the setting and the vibe we wanted playing everything from afrobeat, dancehall, rnb to old school. DJ stix worked with us throughout the process and even created a mixed song for us for our first dance.
MC Excel was wonderful and kept the party moving and kept everyone grooving on the dance floor. My favorite part of the evening was the soul train line and everyone dancing down it.
The 360 photo booth was such a highlight. It's so nice looking back at these videos as a visual guest book and watching everyone have a wonderful time. The 360 photo booth team was great and everyone looked amazing in their videos.
The videographer (Julio) was so nice, and captured our wedding day so beautifully.
We will be recommending your services to everyone we know. When we have another event or party in the future, we will contact and hire you again.
