We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Leann! She was such a calming, joyful presence on our wedding day, and the video she created completely exceeded our expectations. Every moment was captured so beautifully—it truly feels like reliving the day all over again. Our friends and family are obsessed! Don’t hesitate—she’s the best of the best!
If you’re not sure if you should splurge for a videographer - do it! We are so glad that we did. On our wedding day, there was so much going on, we were so busy, we can barely remember who was there, what happened, what we said during our ceremony. But having a videographer captures all of that so you can remember the day forever! Fyvie films is truly the perfect choice. Their work looks like better quality than a movie. We got our teaser and we were so impressed with how stunning the footage is and how beautifully it was put together. It is definitely worth it. They were also super awesome to work with - they were fun and although we are a little camera shy, they made us feel very natural. They also worked so well with our photographers, they seemed like such a natural team working together and helping each other get the best shots. I 100% recommend them! Having great vendors like Fyvie films makes your wedding day even more special!
Leann is such an incredible artist and so sweet and professional. The minute we saw her work, we knew we wanted to work with her. She’s located in the Saratoga area, so we had only had email/phone exchanges with her leading up to the wedding, but she was always responsive and easy to work with. She was also wonderful and proactive throughout the Covid uncertainty.
Her work is breathtaking and she was able to capture our whole day without being even slightly intrusive. She allowed our photographer to get done what was necessary and then easily captured the moment alongside.
We had extremely high expectations after seeing her work and she still managed to blow us away. When she sent our 10 minute highlight over, I was immediately crying happy tears within the first minute (and so were many of our friends and family). I truly don't know the words for how talented she is. She captured the day and the emotions SO WELL and picked music choices that fit us perfectly. I get so sad in the last few minutes of the videos because I don't want them to ever end! She also magically captured so many moments that I was worried were lost to memory only. The video is something we will treasure so greatly for the rest of our lives.
Asking Leann Fyvie to video our wedding was the best decision we made in all of our wedding planning. The first time we spoke, I knew she understood what we were hoping for; she connects so easily and not only listens, but immerse’s herself in her clients’ vision. Leann is not a videographer but a moving photographer and incredible story teller. She works in movement, sensing every emotion “in motion,” and captures those precious moments exquisitely. She gave us the soft romantic images we were looking for, and did not miss any detail of our wedding day, capturing every special moment. The videos she produced are a storybook romance, and with every angle, ray of light, and soft shadow, we have never looked or felt better. She knows exactly what she’s doing. And her arial photos are spectacular! We also had the great pleasure of working with Sophie who could not have been kinder, sweeter, or more professional. The two of them together are a power team! Maybe most importantly, Leann was such a calming presence on our wedding day, and her grace and elegance were a tremendous influence. She was so warm and gracious with our family and friends, and brought so much love and light to our wedding. Leann is a true artist; a composer of love; and is as talented and brilliant as she is beautiful, inside and out. Wait till you see her videos!!! 😍🔥❤️🔥🥰
I fell in love with Fyvie Films/Leann’s videos a few years ago – before I was even engaged or had a wedding to plan! So needless to say, I was thrilled when we had the opportunity to book her as our wedding videographer. Leann has an easygoing and positive vibe about her – something you naturally look for in a vendor, but especially when planning a wedding during a pandemic. Her passion for what she does genuinely shines through when speaking with her, working with her day-of, and it absolutely overflows in each one of her uniquely crafted videos that are truly works of art! Leann is one of a kind in the best way – she will do WHATEVER it takes for her clients and indeed puts her body on the line to get THE shot! Leann is a true professional with the kindest soul. If you’re looking for a videographer, she is the best.
I cannot say enough to describe how communicative, professional, and talented Leann is. Prior to the big day, her calm, upbeat personality shined through - she was kind and relatable, which is one of the reasons we decided to choose her, even if it was slightly out of our budget. And can I just add, hiring Leann was the best decision we made, worth every penny and then some! She learned our personalities as well as anything that was really important to us to have shot for our best day. When the day came, she blended into the background perfectly, found the most creative angles and shots, and ran around the entire property getting the best angles, but in a way that you didn’t even notice she was there. Any questions we had she answered immediately and with kindness. My fiancée is camera shy but she made him feel very comfortable! If you are on the fence, know there is no one better - book Leann! It was the best decision we made!
We knew Leann was incredibly talented, but we just received our wedding videos and were totally blown away. We can’t express how grateful we are to have such beautiful films to look back on, and feel like we are right back in that moment on our special day. She made us feel at ease in front of the camera and captured everything we hoped for so beautifully. She kept us updated through the editing process and sent us the most incredible films of our day - we can’t emphasize enough how much you need Leann to capture your wedding day!
Leann's work is absolutely incredible. We hired her for our small (40ish people) wedding on 10/1/21 and she also accompanied us to the top of Whiteface Mountain for portraits. The footage she took is STUNNING. There are no other words to describe it. The highlight and teaser we received captured all of the important moments and Leann created a beautiful story out of our day. So many people told me not to hire a videographer and I'm happy that I didn't listen to any of them. I am in love with the pictures our photographer gave us but nothing compares to having the video footage. The wedding was such a blur that I barely remembered the ceremony or toasts, and it's so special to get to watch these back whenever I'd like.
Aside from the beautiful work Leann does, she was also really friendly and outgoing. She made us feel at ease the entire time and kept things light and fun. She's very organized and was prompt with all communications leading up to the wedding. She was flexible with us when I changed plans from a sunrise hike to instead spending more time at Whiteface Mountain. I can't recommend her enough. Don't let anyone tell you that you don't need a videographer. You do, and you need Leann.
Cannot say enough good things about Leann! We initially weren't sure if we were going to hire a videographer and we are SO glad we did! Her work is STUNNING, and what a great person to work with! Our wedding was filled with all sorts of plot twists, including the on and off rain. Leann did not let the rain stop her, all with a huge smile and such positive energy! She was Rob and I's biggest cheerleader and captured every single emotional moment so perfectly, and boy were there a lot of those. We've only gotten the teaser back so far and we've all been watching it daily whilst sobbing. Just the most stunning work, done by a person who really understands the emotion and magnitude of all!
Hiring Fyvie Films was an excellent decision for our wedding day! Leading up to our wedding day, Leann made sure she had a sense for who we were as a couple, what our style was, and what we were looking for in a wedding video. On the day of our wedding, my husband and I felt a little apprehensive about being in front of cameras all day. Leann made us feel comfortable and relaxed in her presence, which came across in our wedding video. Leann was incredibly professional, punctual, and detail-oriented on the day of our wedding. She worked in sync beautifully with our photographer and they made a great team. We recently received our wedding video, and we could not be happier with it! Leann put so much thought and care into creating our video and including small, special moments from the entire day. Several people have teared up watching it. Our video is the perfect amount of sweet and sentimental, mixed with upbeat and fun! There is something so special about seeing the memories from the day in her video. We love reliving our special day through Leann’s lens and it is a keepsake we will treasure forever.
My husband knew Leann prior to booking her as our videographer from other work she has done in the sports community. He said her work was amazing and at the time 2 years ago when we booked her I had high hopes just from the brief clips shared on her social media… but she shattered every expectation in the best possible way!! Hiring Leanne to take video of our wedding was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. My husband and I had a small ceremony (just us and our two sons from previous marriages) at The Sagamore in July 2020 and wanted video so our family and friends could see it. She was so wonderful to work with and the videos she produced are like amazing movies. She captured perfectly the fun and romantic spirit of our ceremony, first dance, time with the boys, everything. Leann has incredible energy and is everything you want in a videographer. Her attention to detail is unmatched and you can tell she loves what she does. We hired Fyvie Films for our wedding and have enjoyed working with Leann since day one. Leann took the time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple to tailor her approach to our joint vision for how we wanted our wedding captured. We absolutely fell in love with her teasers and videos on her website. During our wedding, she captured every little detail and was invisible at the same time. She was able to push out a teaser in under three days for us and we are anxiously awaiting our videos which we already know will be amazing. The teaser was perfect, it highlighted key parts of the night, was the exact vibe we wanted, and beautiful. We highly recommend Fyvie Films!

Leanne and her assistant were amazing on our special day! They arrived early so they could take pictures and videos of our dress's and stayed until our sparkler send off. She showed us a clip of our day on the day of and we were amazed at the quality and what she captured without us even thinking of it! She shared a teaser on social media a day or two after and it is amazing and I cannot wait t see the full video! There is no one better!

We are so happy we booked Leann for videography at our wedding. The #1 thing we heard from other married couples is that they wish they had video from their day. We're so happy to have those moments to relive in the years to come. We received our videos the week after our wedding! We shared our highlight film (3 1/2 minutes) on Facebook and had so many compliments! I watched it over and over again. Our full film was 48 minutes long and was set to music and covered our first look through dancing at the reception. We're so lucky to have booked Leann!
I cannot express how happy we are to have hired Leann and her assistant for our wedding. We had a long day - it was New Year’s Eve, on the coldest night ever in Lake George, the wedding was at 3 then reception starting at 6:30pm. She showed up early, getting the most beautiful shots, and had a huge smile on her face all day long. My grandfather passed away 5 days before our event, and I had a terrible winter cold - she made it her mission to brighten our week as much as possible and I will never forget the kindness she showed me. My husband was so nervous to have a videographer- didn’t want to be recorded LOL and now he is so happy we did it. No one at the reception knew it was a video, which made it so much more authentic. Leann, thank you for being you - you are a true talent!!! If you’re on the fence and don’t know if you want to hire Leann, just do it! You will not regret it!!
I knew when I got married that I'd have to have a videographer. In my search after becoming engaged, I started to find that most are very expensive and the quality is sometimes lacking. When I found Leann, saw her work and pricing, it was like a weight had been lifted. Leann is so welcoming and was so easy to work with!! She really spoke to my husband and I, and got to know us a bit in order to produce the most amazing videos (feature, highlight, etc.). Leann made herself available all hours of the day/night and from multiple communication avenues (email, FB messenger, mail and call/text!!). BONUS: Leann worked so well with my photographer - jumping out of his way so that he could capture his shots, jumping in to get hers, also catching his attention to capture certain shots when he was busy taking other shots. Such a dynamic duo and it shows through the work created! I received my video within a couple of months of my wedding, which I felt like was pretty quick turnaround! Some of my guests didn't even realize I had a videographer - which speaks numbers in the sense that Leann blended into the crowd and didn't get in the way of the days' proceedings. I couldn't be happier with my choice to work with Leann and recommend her to all brides :)
I don’t even know how to express how much my husband and I love our wedding video! Leann was an absolute pleasure to work with. She made the planning easy-no stress-which when planning a wedding, is a dream! On the day of, she was everywhere at once. She caught moments that I didn’t realize were happening and when she put them together, made a stunning video that captured the love that we were celebrating. I would absolutely and without a doubt recommend Leann to anyone who wants their day captured by someone who sees all the nuances and important moments celebrating your love.
Choosing to work with Leann was one of the best decisions we had made! Scott and I weren't sure if a videographer was going to be in our budget for our wedding. However, if I have one recommendation now it's DO NOT miss out on this detail! Leann has many different packages available for your special day and all are VERY reasonably priced, especially for the quality that you will receive and the details that are captured. We can not express how grateful we are to have this memory forever to share with our families. The day zooms by so fast that when we were able to watch our video we were able relive the moment and realize just how perfect it was (rain drops and all)! We were glad to have Leann and her team to be apart of our day, she is kind, creative, and has a very genuine soul. You will not be disappointed with the product you receive. Leann was an AMAZING videographer! She and her assistant worked so hard throughout our wedding day to capture all our special moments, and the end results – our “trailer” and 30 minute long video – was truly spectacular. The video captures the essence of my husband and me; it’s upbeat and shows how much fun everyone had throughout the day! Watching it, we feel like movie stars. I would pick Leann again and again! She was extremely friendly, professional, flexible, and made my wedding feel like a priority throughout the planning process, even though she just had a baby! I think this shows her dedication and passion to her craft and her clients. Deciding to have a videographer was a great decision, as we will not just be able to see our wedding highlights like in photos, but also hear the voices and see the smiles of our friends and family for years to come; however choosing Leann as our videographer was the best decision!
I can't even put into words how grateful I am to Leann for capturing every detail and special moment of our wedding day! Someone very special and important to me wasn't able to be there and I requested that she capture the day so that when are able to be together again, we could watch her video together and he could experience it with me. Needless to say, her work went above and beyond all the expectations I requested, and trust me, it wasn't a small request. Everything from the short video to the extended video (which is my most cherished possession that I can't wait to share with my loved one), are absolutely everything I hoped they would be, and more, in every way!
To all future brides... when people tell you that the day will come and go quicker than you can imagine, listen to them- it's the truth! If you have any doubts as to if you should hire a videographer or not (and I struggled with the same decisions, wedding planning on a budget is difficult), it's the best decision you will ever make. And Leann is the best, hands down!
