John & the Gabbelli Studios team we fantastic! We did both our engagement shoot and wedding with them, and I cannot rave enough about our experience. The attention to detail & planning for the day put my husband and I at ease that each special moment we were hoping for was captured. The photos came out absolutely beautiful, and we could not be happier with our experience in working with them.

We chose Gabelli for our wedding photography and we are 100% grateful for this decision. John, along with his team, Jim, Josh, and Patrick, were absolutely amazing and so professional! They tailored to our individual needs and dynamics and knew exactly what photos to take and when. They used all of their available surroundings to get shots that were one of a kind. All of them were super friendly and went above and beyond! They made sure all the details were perfect. They helped us create a timeline for our day and it was perfect, and we were not rushed at all. They beautifully captured our entire wedding night. All of the photos produced by Gabelli are absolutely stunning! We would highly recommend Gabelli studios for your wedding photos. Gabelli Studios was an absolute dream to work with!! We communicated with Gabby to coordinate meetings and schedule with the day of - she was extremely helpful throughout the process and quick to respond! We worked with Jim for our engagement shoot and worked with him and Jason for our wedding day along with their assistant Ben. They were the absolute best - we cannot say enough about them. John’s attention to detail was spectacular and you can just trust in the fact that he is getting the perfect shot. Josh killed it with our social media and we had an amazing reel up on instagram just a few days after our special day. Choosing a photographer is always a big ask because you know they will spend the day with you and really set the tone and schedule, and my husband and I are so grateful to have had Gabelli capture the memories from our wedding day that will last a lifetime!

John and his crew, Jim , Josh and Tab on video with Nik were just terrific. Not only were they easy to work with the day of the wedding.... they were SO helpful with guiding us along the way. We hadnt been thru the weddng process before and we had MANY questions and Gabby and John had patiences and very very informative. Helped with a timeline which was extremely useful. I cannot BEGIN to explain how amazing John and the team were! Working with the team from Gabelli studios was so much fun! It felt like we were working with friends. Our bridal party could not believe how easy going and fun it was to take pictures. The guests had so much fun interacting with the team and cannot stop talking about it. They were all simply wonderful. Usually photographers and videographers fall to the background and are rarely noticed, but the team truly made our wedding so much fun by the way they interacted with the guests. They did not just capture beautiful memories but also helped to make them! John shot our engagement session, and with how breathtaking those photos were, I can only imagine how beautiful our wedding photos will be! I cannot fail to mention Gabby. She was so responsive, pleasant and wonderful to work with! She always responded to my emails right away and was always ready to help! Although she was more “behind the scenes”, this experience would not have been as amazing without her!

We chose Gabelli for our wedding photography for the more natural “real life” photography style and not only do they have the eye, but the team was also wonderful to work with from start to finish! Jim is amazing, his light-hearted demeanor is a pleasure to be around and makes you feel comfortable instantly. His team day of the wedding was just as lovely – professional, agile, and easy-going. Goes without saying that Gabby was also a pleasure - accessible, organized and collaborative throughout the entire process. Great energy all around - from the planning to the engagement shoot through the wedding. We look forward to using them for the next big life moments!

John and Jim were both beyond professional and a pleasure to work with on our wedding day! They had photographed my brother in law's wedding as well, and came highly recommended from them - and I know why...they made timing seamless! They knew their way around the grounds (Pleasantdale Chateau) and were beyond efficient. They gave us great insight on pictures we should take, and helped to ensure we had a smooth day from start to finish! They were not only professional, but fun and energetic! I am a pretty awkward person sometimes, and they made me feel like a princess! They also moved my body and told me how to pose for optimal angels...this in itself made the world of difference to me because I felt like they cared, not just snapping pictures.. can't recommend them enough!

Photography and videography were on the top of mine and Nick’s list of vendors to book, we wanted lots of photos to look back, and a video we could watch with our future children one day. Needless to say this was definitely an important decision to make. Because of the distance we met John through a zoom call for our initial meeting. His personality alone sold us on booking him. He and his team, yes Gabby I’m talking about you too, we’re so responsive and helpful at every turn. Every detail was meticulously planned out before our wedding. Day of our wedding John and his teams showed up A few minutes early to set up, and take pictures of the details in each of the houses we were in. John promptly came and introduced himself to me while I was getting my make up done and continue taking pictures of the girls at my house until I was ready to get ready ready with him. John was absolutely amazing! My veil was extra long, and everywhere we went he held both my train and Val making sure it always looks great and it wasn’t falling out every 10 minutes. He did a fabulous job with my huge family. He was patient with all of my aunts uncles and cousins as well as nicks family coming in and out so we can get all of our family portraits. He even got close to 80 people in one picture for my side. I was so amazed at everything that he did! The rest of the weekend the only thing my family and friends wanted to talk about was how amazing and fun and funny our photographer and videographers were! Even with my family being amateur photographers and videographers themselves, our professional team allowed them to take their pictures and videos, and they had fun together! I would recommend John and his team to Annie soon to be bride!

We met John when my Husband and I were visiting/touring The Park Savoy during our wedding planning process. Melanie at The Park Savoy, who was giving us the tour of the venue, had nothing but wonderful things to say about John and when we met him that day we could understand why. John and his staff are extremely professional, punctual, and so much fun to work with. The studio has so much to offer with their photography packages and their photographs are absolutely stunning!! Personally, I was looking for a very classic look when it came to my engagement and wedding pictures rather than something more trendy because these are moments we will look back on for the rest of our lives and that is exactly what we got. Our pictures are breathtaking and you receive SO many photographs to look back on-- it's really amazing how much was captured during our entire engagement and on our wedding day. My wedding day was so special and it really helps having photographers who make you feel comfortable, beautiful, and bring a lot of joy in these special moments. My wedding party, family, and friends loved all of the photographers. There is something to be said when you feel like you've know a group of people your whole life after only knowing them for a short period of time-- you definitely want this feeling for your day. Definitely book with Gabelli Studio, they were our very first vendor we booked after the venue and it was our best decision by far!

COVID times have been difficult but that just made working with John and his staff even that much more amazing. Gabby was my main contact in the office and answered all my questions plus more. John was so accomodating with our COVID requests as my husband and I decided to have 2 ceremonies (a small one on our intended date and a large one with everyone when COVID "improved"). Jim was our second photographer during the larger wedding and kept us laughing as well. I could not have asked for better and would recommend to anyone looking for a photographer!

The moment I met with John, I knew we were going to use him for our wedding, we didn't even meet with any other photographers!! John is the BEST! He made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We haven't seen all of our wedding photos yet, but from the sneak peeks and engagement photos we did receive, I know they are going to be amazing! We postponed our wedding 4 times, and every time we moved the date, Gabelli Studio’s made the process so easy! We were so lucky John was available on our 4th date, because to be honest, if he wasn't, we probably would've moved our wedding to a date he was available, that's how amazing he is!! Leading up to the wedding, John and Gabby were both super responsive and answered all of my questions. The day of, John and his team (we booked both photo and video), made everything so easy and fun. They made sure to capture all our moments and knew exactly where to get the best shots. John is the best of the best there is, and I would HIGHLY recommend booking him ASAP.

From the moment we had our first meeting with Jim we knew we were going with Gabelli for our wedding photography. We couldn’t be more pleased with Jim, John, Louis and Gabby for all their hard work leading up to and on the day of our wedding. They made everything so easy and fun. I can’t recommend them enough and hope to work with them again in the future for other life milestones!

We were so happy with Gabelli on our wedding day. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, and they could not have been more flexible and responsive with us through the process. The photographers and videographers made everything so easy the day of the wedding. They had great visions and we’re super organized. We cannot wait to see all of the videos and pictures!

I remember when I was the future bride scrutinizing through reviews to pick our wedding photographer. I'll be honest, we didn't initially go with Gabelli because we were being frugal and convinced ourselves that photos weren't important. A pandemic and 3 rescheduled wedding dates later, and we are SO incredibly relieved to have ditched our original photographer and go with Gabelli! If I'd had known how great my wedding day would flow because of John Bacolo & his team, we probably would have gone with a more expensive package!!! Your wedding photos and videos are going to be the only things that you have to look back on. The wedding day flies by and you'll want those memories materialized and immortalized. I can't wait for our photos and videos to come back, but it's great having faith that you know they will be amazing, that you can relax on your day knowing they're capturing everything meaningful, and you'll have months and years of hard work & planning symbolized in photos to prove it! So seriously...stop stressing yourself out & do yourself a favor and go with Gabelli Studio!!! P.S. Coordinating with Gabby leading up to the wedding day (7/25/21) was extremely helpful. Not only do you need a great photo & video team, but you need someone who will respond to your questions and call you back when you have concerns. They're the best. HANDS DOWN! I am so happy that my husband and I chose Gabelli Studio for our wedding photography and videography! They were recommended by our catering hall il Tulipano and could not have been more amazing. Jim, Sal, Tab and the entire team were fantastic to work with. The photographer and his team is right by your side the entire wedding, they are with you during the most intimate moments of the wedding, and it was important to my husband and I that we were comfortable with whoever we chose. When we met John at a vendor showcase, we instantly knew that we had found or photographer. John and his team were attentive, had great suggestions leading up to the wedding, and were a joy to work with. On our wedding day, we did not have a wedding photographer.. instead we had a friend and a camera. Our photos came out beautifully and are a great reminder of those magical moments.

Not only was Gabelli studio one of the preferred vendors at the Park Savoy, but they were also the photographer for my brother and sister in laws wedding 10 years ago! We hired Gabelli Studios to be our wedding photographer for our wedding at the Park Savoy. We looked at another vendor but both my husband and I immediately clicked with Jim. They say that you need to feel comfortable with the photographer, since he will be with you all day. And that’s what we felt with Jim. Comfortable and at ease. Jim has a great sense of humor and a calming, relaxing energy. Plus, he knows the Park Savoy, inside out. He took my husband and I to all the perfect spots at the perfect times. My parents and my bridal party also loved him! Prior to our wedding, we did our engagement shoot with him (and our 2 dogs). After seeing those gorgeous pictures and the way he captured us and our pups, we were certain Gabelli Studios was the choice for us! The day of the wedding, Jim arrived with a second photographer, Sal and assistant Terri. They were wonderful from start to finish. Jim stayed with me, while Sal photographed the guys down in the man cave. I wanted specific kids of shots (think flying veil) and Jim did not forget! He took so many pictures and so many natural ones, not just posed. So many pictures on the dance floor and I never even saw him! He was perfect at blending in and I was never really aware of the camera being on me! We incorporated our dogs again, and Jim was so patient and easy going with the pups! He knew how important that was to my husband and I and so he made it important to him. We saw a few shots and needless to say they looked amazing! I cannot wait to design our albums. My only fear is that Jim and Sal may have taken too many amazing shots…how will I choose? Gabelli Studios was a pleasure to work with and they do amazing work. Also, Gabby the manager is just awesome to work with! She is kind, patient and so easy to work with! Book Gabelli Studios!! You will not be disappointed!

It helps when you have an amazing photographer so that you have stunning pictures to remember that special day - but it helps even more when that photographer is one of kindest, personable and one of the most professional people you have ever met. John Bacolo from Gabelli Studio is nothing short of amazing and is truly a sweetheart. I knew that we were in good hands and it was just one less thing to worry about during the already stressful wedding process. Before the wedding he made sure his studio knew what our needs were , what we were looking for, and met every single one of them. Even when my original videographer had fallen through, John and his studio were able to step up and save the day (insert Superman anthem) a mere 3 weeks before the wedding. On top of this amazing eye as a photographer and skills, he is just one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He goes out of his way to say "hi" and make everything personable for his clients. When I went to go pick up my photos with my cousin (and bridesmaid) he not only came out to greet us but remembered my cousin and acknowledged her as well. He's truly that awesome. My friend used Gabelli Studio's for her wedding 2 years prior to me getting engaged. Once I got engaged, I knew their fabulous work and that I wanted to book their company. John is the absolute best in the field! He is personable, professional and so sweet. From our engagement pictures to our wedding day he made us feel comfortable and we had some great laughs with him. We recently just received our wedding flash-drive ( the coolest presentation of a flash drive) and out of the 3,000 pictures, we literally could not find one photo we did not like. Having seen John’s work for years I knew he was the only photographer I wanted to work with for our wedding. John and team were professional and great to work with. John knows exactly what to do to make you look and feel beautiful and comfortable on your wedding day. Once the Reception started the team was around but let us enjoy our time with our guests while still getting great shots. We couldn’t be happier with our photos.

I am so happy we chose Gabelli Studio as our photographer and videographer- John and his team were wonderful! John had arrived earlier than anticipated which was great because he was able to get the small pictures out of the way (pictures of my shoes, bouquet, jewelry, etc.) This also helped out later on when I was running a bit late to the church- John calmed me down and reassured me that everything would be fine. John is calm, cool and collected, but can also be assertive to keep the day running on schedule, especially when you have a bridal party of 30 people! He was able to rally the troops and take incredible photos at Liberty State Park and the hall. He took all the pictures that I wanted (and more!) of myself, husband, family and friends. The same day edit was also a great addition- it was a movie-quality video everyone kept telling us how amazing it came out! It was a nice clip to play at the reception for everyone to get a recap of our wedding. I kept telling John throughout the day how happy I was to have him there, and I truly meant it! 10/10 would recommend Gabelli Studio to any bride getting married in the tri-state area! John truly understands how important a couple’s wedding photos and videos are.

We booked Gabelli Studio for our wedding at Pleasantdale Chateau earlier in June 2019. Gabelli was one of the preferred vendors and based on my research on their portfolio of work, I could definitely see why it was a preferred vendor! I loved the quality, content, and context of their photos. Gabelli does an amazing job in capturing the most important moments and elements of a wedding day, whether the moments are planned or sporadic. The photography capture the essence of human emotion in all its joy for the bride and groom and their guests. After our first meeting with Christina, who was so sweet and informative, we knew we wanted to book with Gabelli. Gabby was also so sweet to work with and answered all my questions promptly. We met with John, the lead photographer, a couple weeks before the wedding to go through the day of details, itinerary and timing, etc. John was super accommodating to the schedule and activities we had in mind and provided some suggestions as well based on his expertise and experience. On the day of the wedding, John, Jim, and Lou did an amazing job capturing all the big moments of the day and identifying amazing places to take pictures of us, our parents, and our bridal party. I'd like to specifically highlight how accommodating and flexible they were in meeting our requests. I asked for additional and specific photos to be taken in different areas of our venue and they accommodated every single request. It goes to show how much they care about their couples and capturing all the public and intimate moments of the special day. Beyond their skills as photographers, John, Jim, and Lou are so personable and have a great sense of humor, which is always such a positive when it comes to weddings as the day can be stressful for couples. How can we even express how AMAZING John & his team are. Honestly, there isn’t a review that will do them justice, but we will try our best! John was the first photographer my husband and I met with. We were greeted with a warm and inviting smile in his immaculate and beautifully decorated office. Our conversation was instantly organic; we bonded over getting married in March, our love for Nashville and Jersey delicacies. My husband and I were not only in awe of John’s personality and professionalism, but his talent and true passion for wedding photography. When we were driving back to our home in CT, my husband (who is not comfortable in front of a camera) looked at me and said “We’re done. We have to book him. I would feel comfortable having him take my picture all day.” MUSIC TO MY EARS! We both admitted that if we waited to long and lost John to another commitment we would be devastated. We booked John the next day and all our initial instincts we’re correct - he was the best decision we made. From the day we booked with Gabelli Studio to our wedding day, John treated us like family. Being an out-of-state couple, John and his team were overly communicative with us and whenever (which was often) we had questions or needed guidance, John would pick up the phone and call. We talked through timelines and shot lists together – he never let us feel alone in the process, he was on our team and was invested in making our dream wedding come true. On the day of our wedding, John/Jim/Tab/Lou showed up prompt and excited, as if they were just as excited for our day as we were. They made us laugh, cry (happy tears!) and feel so comfortable with each click. When John and his team saw a moment to be captured outside the shot list, my husband and I never hesitated and followed suit. We knew they were capturing our dream wedding in our photos that would last forever. If we've said it once, we’ve said it a million times since our wedding, John and Gabelli Studio were the MVP’s of our wedding. John and Jim are simply wonderful! They are nice, professional, easy to work with. They kept me calm during weather issues on our big day and were available during the reception for any shot we needed taken. We cannot wait to see our pictures!!!

We cannot say enough good things about Gabelli studios, from the moment you walk in their door to meet them you know they take their jobs very seriously, you know that they care about their customers. We got married on October 13th. 2018 and Jim,sal and the videographer and assistants were amazing to work with. They handled all requests we had and were able to calm me down when i was nervous. They were such a pleasure to work with. Our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without the help of Gabelli studios. Christina who works in the office is also such a sweetheart. We can’t thank them enough for all they did for us.

My wedding was 8/9/18 and we are in awe of how our day went. A lot of that we attribute to John & his team. From start to finish, John & Christina were prompt in responding to our questions/emails. We have gotten so many compliments in service since our wedding day and we haven't even seen the photos yet! From start to finish working with Gabelli team has been great. There are a lot of awkward photographers out there and we were not impressed by any, but as soon as we met with John our minds were put at ease. He did our engagement photos in Central Park and made us feel very comfortable. Photography is the most important aspect/detail of a wedding to invest in so I suggest that you don't cut corners with this one and go with Gabelli, you won't be disappointed!

We have loved working with Gabelli’s since the moment we walked in to their studio. From our first meeting telling jokes with Jim, to the ease of our wedding day with Jim Alex and Michael, and then to the logistics and album creation with Christina and Deena they have been top notch. They made the process extremely easy and their product speaks for itself. We look at our photos and video almost daily and are still receiving compliments on how beautifully everything was captured. We would love to find any excuse to work with them again (dog shoot, family photos, etc)!

Absolutely the best! My photos came out exactly as I wanted them and Jon made the big day as easy as possible! He even noticed I was super nervous before entering the church and took a moment to calm me down, definitely above and beyond the call of duty! The staff there is also great, very quick to answer emails and calls.

John and the entire staff is amazing. John did both our engagement and wedding photos. Our engagement photos came out perfect and I cannot wait to see our wedding photos. Christina helped us design our save the date cards and they came out beautifully. They turned out exactly the way I pictured. Christina was also really responsive to all emails and answered any questions we had along the way. From the moment we met John my husband and I felt really comfortable with him and knew we did not want anyone else to capture our wedding.

My (now) husband and I were married on June 24, 2018 and I cannot even begin to put into words how much we are in love with how Gabelli Studio went above and beyond for our wedding. Me and the girls had John as our photographer while the guys had Jim for theirs before they ended up working together after our first look. John made us girls feel so comfortable and really took his time to make sure the shots were exactly how we wanted them to look and kept us laughing all morning. The guys would not stop raving about Jim all night, he's definitely a 'man's man' and made plenty of jokes with the rowdy crew of cops that my husband had as groomsmen. We were able to see a few of the photos straight off the camera lens that day and were in awe!!! Prior to our wedding day, we had John & Christina involved in every step of our process. My (then) fiance had reached out and had John there during the proposal for photos (gorgeous) and we also had him for our engagement shoot (stunning). Christina was there for every question that we had and always had an answer in my inbox within moments (okay not actually moments don't get too excited but you know what I mean). Deena was there to edit the proposal & engagement shoot photos to perfection and tweaked anything I asked for! We cannot wait to see what she makes happen for our wedding photos! To be real: John had never been to our engagement shoot location and neither John nor Jim had been to our wedding venue prior to our wedding, which made us a little nervous - this did not cause a ripple in any bit of their photography! They acted as if they knew every corner of each place and where to get the best lighting for the photo. They showed up on time and ready to work, and then worked up until the last moment - John was taking photos basically as he was walking out the door! The Gabelli Studio family welcomes you with open arms from the moment you step through the studio doors. We got married in Asbury park and I know taking pictures on a busy boardwalk is chaotic, but Gabelli made it look easy. We are both on cloud nine and cannot wait to see the shots!

Gabelli did the most amazing job photographing our wedding. They caught so many amazing moments without us even being aware and the quality of photos we got back are truly off the charts. They were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. Christina, in the office, is so helpful, kind and responsive. John and Dan photographed our wedding, they worked seamlessly with everyone and when our wedding was delayed due to rain, Dan stayed far later than he needed to and was able to get so many memorable shots toward the end of the night. There are truly not enough stars to rate the work of Gabelli Studio/Cinema! They are the ultimate dream team! My husband and I heard about Gabelli through our venue, Pleasantdale Chateau (most beautiful venue in the world). We knew Gabelli is amazing since they were recommended to us by Pleasantdale. We contacted Gabelli to inquire about wedding photography and videography and set up a meeting with Christina, studio manager. Christina is a pleasure to work with! She discussed photography and videography package options with us, and showed us what is truly work of art. We saw the most beautiful albums and framed photos we have ever seen and ever will see. We were truly blown away by what we saw. Christina was very attentive to our needs and desires, and made sure that we were happy with our choices. For example, there are a lot of video options, all which are great choices. Christina made arrangements for my husband and I to view various videos so that we could have a better idea of how awesome our video can be. We decided to book our wedding photography and videography with Gabelli and we are beyond thrilled that we did! We decided to include an engagement shoot in our package. We thought it would be fun to get to know John (our primary photographer) a bit before our big day. What better way to do this than to have an engagement shoot with him? Our engagement shoot was so much fun! John is a pleasure to work with! He's fun, charismatic, funny, sweet, and the absolute best photographer! A lot of people think they have the best photographer ever, but I know I had the best photographer ever! Consider photography and videography one of your areas to splurge. For example, at one point John asked us if we would like to take a little break for water, wine, snack, restroom, etc. I decided to have a glass of water and John poured me a glass of water before my bridal attendant could have a chance to. It was an absolute pleasure to work with John and the rest of the crew at Gabelli. He was able to get to know us from the engagement shoot, which made the day of the wedding comfortable, fun, and easy. John took the time to learn all of the names of the bridal party so they felt comfortable with him as well. He remembered all of the must have pictures and through out the night made sure that we got them all. We wouldn't have chosen or trusted anyone else for our special day.

We used Gabelli Studio for our wedding and cannot express how amazing the whole team was to work with. We are so grateful we chose them as they went above and beyond to work closely with our venue to make sure everything went perfectly. Christina always responded to emails and calls quickly, answering any questions or concerns in detail and organizing our schedule for the day. She made the whole process go so smoothly! The day of our wedding, John and Jim made sure the whole wedding party was relaxed and had fun while taking our pictures throughout the entire day. Everyone was personable and accommodating as our wedding party was quite large! Many of the bridesmaids and groomsmen have been in multiple weddings and couldn’t get over how easy the Gabelli team was to work with. We cannot thank you enough for capturing our special day and for the memories we will have for years to come.

Our wedding was only 2 weeks ago and I couldn't wait to review Gabelli! The team is amazing!!! Jim is so friendly and so easy to work with. They all had us laughing the whole day which made taking 100000 pictures so much easier! We didn't even know they were at the wedding reception because not one time were they in our faces. No one even knew we had a photographer! We had our engagement photos with Jim and they came out amazing - I can only imagine how wonderful our wedding photos will be. The team was great to work with during the whole planning process!! We love Gabelli!

I wish I could upload my photos to this review!! They really speak for themselves. Gabelli Studio was beyond easy to work with and I love that they really take the time to listen to our needs. I have a HUGE family and our wedding had over 350 guests. Needless to say there was a lot going on. Gabelli knew I desperately wanted photos of my moms side and my fathers side before the cocktail hour. It was like herding cats but they made sure they helped me get it done! I am forever thankful that I will have these photos for generations to come! The photographers themselves were fun, warm, and professional. My bridesmaids absolutely loved them.. maybe too much! Thanks to their upbeat attitude it wasn't hard to have impromptu moments of laughter which made for perfect photos. Moreover, my husband has never been a fan of taking pictures. Yet they were able to really make him feel comfortable and boy does he look great!! The only downside to working with Gabelli is that you will absolutely love ALL OF THE PHOTOS!!! I would trust them to pick out the photos for you because once you see them all you will want them all. They have great tastes and they will make you an amazing album. I was in the middle of moving and couldn't get to them to go through the photos together so I decided to go through thousands of pictures myself. Big mistake. They were all great!!! Trust Gabelli to make your bridal party and family comfortable and to make you a wedding album you will want to look at every day for the next 70 years!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about John and his team. His work is stunning and he went above and beyond to keep us happy, calm, and on schedule on our big day! If you are looking for quality and excellent service Gabelli is the best choice!
