About this vendor
For 25 years, Donita, the owner's mom, delighted couples with her wedding cakes. Now, we carry on her legacy, offering exquisite wedding cakes and a variety of delectable dessert tables. She taught us everything we needed to start about stressful deliveries, tiered cakes, gumpaste flowers, and artistry. We've since added our own nearly decade of experience, making us local wedding industry experts and building our offerings around what people are currently looking for.
We've made ourselves experts in dessert table spreads as well as cakes, offering a wide variety that you get to choose to build your dream dessert table. Everything from cookies to dessert shooters to cheesecakes to whoopie pies to macarons! We will handle all the variety, the display, and of course a cake for you to cut that fits the vibe of the wedding.
At Gable House Bakery, we blend tradition with innovation to create unforgettable sweet experiences for the couples who trust us with the sweetest part of their day.

We used Gable House for our wedding and it was such a great experience. What drew me to this bakery was being able to do a really fun dessert bar with handheld items at a reasonabl...
e cost. The addition of the small cake included in this package created the perfect set up and allowed us to still have a cake cutting experience without having to order a massive cake.
Jenna was so helpful and sweet while we made all of our dessert decisions. The tasting was a lot of fun to experience and they were very accommodating when it came to various options and the overall display. The best part of our wedding desserts was being able to incorporate our dog into the small cake. It was such a fun touch and he was definitely the star of the dessert table. He unfortunately was not able to be at the wedding so being able to see him on the cake brought a huge smile to our faces.
The final sweet touch from Gable House was discovering that they put together a little Bride and Groom sample box of all of the desserts we chose and left it for us in our suite. It was a really nice surprise and made us happy since we were not able to try everything during the reception.
We had Gable House cater our wedding of 85 people- having the dessert bar and wedding cake- and cannot express how PERFECT & DELICIOUS it all was!! They are very prompt replying to...
emails, answering all the questions I had and setting up a tasting. I had a Pinterest floral piece to go around my dessert stand and they assured me the cake and desserts would work and it looked stunning on the day of! They delivered and set up the cake/desserts during our reception so I didn't have to stress about a thing! Our guests could not stop raving about all the dessert options we had. There was plenty of flavors to choose from, the chocolate mousse dessert shooters, pb/chocolate and strawberry swirl cheesecake bites being the most popular! We also had 3 flavors of macarons and 3 flavors of cake pops decorated to match our color theme instead of guests eating cake. We had a small red velvet and cream cheese icing smaller cake for us to cut/eat for pictures and take home. They will also make us a 1 year anniversary cake next year so we literally left no crumbs of ours or have to worry about it getting freezer burnt by next year so it's greatly appreciated! I cannot recommend Gable House Bakery enough for their amazing team, beautiful wedding desserts and stopping in for a sweet treat

ur wedding colors. We both loved how our cake turned out and also how delicious everything tasted - our parents were asking for leftovers to take home! Jenna and the staff were great to work with and always responded back to us quickly when we had questions. There are so many cake, filling, and icing options that we had a hard time deciding what we wanted since everything tasted so good! Definitely recommend Gable House for any of your bakery needs!!

u can imagine my shock at the end of the night when I go to grab some cookies and they are all gone!! We got a massive dessert selection and a cake and they were such a hit, so much so that none of them made it home with us at the end of the night. Not only did everything taste delicious, but it looked stunning and was delivered and set up beautifully at our venue. Gable House Bakery was so easy and pleasant to work with and has so many amazing options for a wedding. We were so pleased with our experience from start to finish and cannot wait to get a cake for our one year anniversary. We will absolutely be coming back for some goodies whenever we find ourselves in the area again!

work with, we changed our mind on flavors a few weeks before the wedding and they had no problem making that work. Our families are still raving about all the desserts two months later.
Very good food but part of the order was wrong even after explicitly covering it at the tasting. We wanted black icing made with chocolate buttercream and decided upon this after ...
working directly with the owner to achieve the proper ingredient combination. We had a tasting with 3 icing options and the owner even wrote down exactly which one we wanted so they had a record of it when the time to make the actual cake came. Picked up the cake and the icing was made with white buttercream instead which is not what we stated we wanted and not what the bakery agreed to make. It tasted good and kept well, but the fact that the order was slightly wrong after so much work went into getting it right is a negative. Overall, I would still recommend the bakery to anyone but would advise being extra careful with making sure it is correctly made.
Loved using Gable House for our wedding! We live about three hours from their bakery and our venue and they were so easy to work with. I love that they have an online payment link ...
