t email inquiry got missed, and after scheduling my discovery call, they rescheduled in twice. After all that, I still decided to continue with them since they seemed really nice. My trial took almost 2 weeks to schedule. Upon arriving to the salon, it was a completely different address than their main office. It was not clearly marked and it was difficult to find the artist’s salon. The makeup artist showed up a few minutes late as well.
My hair ended up gorgeous and exactly how I asked (Thank you Michele). However, I have never been more disappointed in my makeup. A few days before I was sent a survey to detail exactly what I was going for. I spent over an hour compiling inspo images and detailing the look I wanted. Day of the trial neither of the artist had received my survey. So I had to explain day of. I was wanting a full coverage, full glam look with glitter. I received the most minimal amount of makeup I had ever worn and was legitimately in shock after. I looked like a bridesmaid, not a bride. If you are looking for a natural makeup look, then this may be the place for you. However, I was given a skin tint that you could see my natural skin under, no eyeliner, uneven lip liner, and the makeup settled so poorly that you could see every pore. I could not recommend this place less.

she spent most of the time complaining about previous clients she had who didn't like her work, and had asked other artists at the events to fix what she did. This felt like a red flag, and after my trial I understood why. Twice during the trial I told her I wasn't thrilled with what she was doing to my hair, and she continued on anyway. Once she attempted to tighten a twist I wasn't a fan of, left it super loose, and said she fixed it. Luckily GAD sent out a form in which I could detail how the trial went. Chanel encouraged me to be super detailed down to the minute on that form, and I was glad I did! I made a point to say I didn't like the trial, and on the day of I presented a different inspo picture to Joanne in hopes she would get what I wanted. She still did what she originally wanted, but tightened the pieces more this time so it was closer to what I wanted. Chanel was last to show up on the morning of (which was FINE! because we had not even all arrived yet) and Joanne was being so rude about it, complaining to the other artists with me in the room. Me being the bride, she should never be talking bad about her fellow artists, especially in such a way that she might make me panic thinking things will run off-track. They of course did not because Chanel is wonderful, but it didn't sit right with me that Joanne was so openly mean about her peer but then nice to her face once she arrived. I also felt the company did not communicate very well with me when it came to the trial, and my contract. I was very clear with what time I could start in the morning, and when I needed to be done. They allowed me to sign a contract that detailed that. And still, they sent me a final timeline that started an hour early with no extra artist. I emailed them about this right away, she never answered, simply just sent a new timeline. Thankfully the timeline was now correct and she added an extra artist to accommodate the time, but not communicating about this made me worry unnecessarily and I even had my wedding planner involved. They also were not helpful when it came to scheduling trial, because they said I could schedule it whenever I wanted but then told me I wasn't allowed to do it within the time frame I wanted. She told me I had to wait till closer, even though booking the trial earlier would have made it more true to the hair length I had and it would have secured lead artists sooner. If I was able to have the trial sooner, maybe I wouldn't have had Joanne, and the trial wouldn't have been off because I wasn't forced to do it when my hair was much shorter than when it was for wedding day. All in all the day went smoothly and my looks were wonderful, I just wish I had the foresight to request someone other than Joanne and insist on my trial timeline.

Tatiana took the time to call me and discuss these things on the phone with me. She listened to all my questions and helped me to understand how things could work. Her taking the time to do that spoke volumes to me about how she would treat me as a bride.
In addition, her skill/talent is top notch! She took her time on my hair/makeup trial and created a look that was both what i wanted, and also what suited me best.
On wedding day, we replicated that and let me tell you, I've never felt more me, but also more bride. My hair and makeup lasted ALL NIGHT. My bridesmaids also all looked gorgeous all night long.

I have long, thick, straightened for over 10 years, hair and she managed to curl it and have the curls stay all day and even over night in my sleep. I still had gorgeous curls when I woke up the next morning. She even did my makeup sharp enough for me to feel like a princess but didnt over do it to the point of me feeling plastic and it lasted alllllll day

took to get enough artists to make my timeline work smoothly. I was a little hesitant about going with GAD because most of the pictures I saw online had more neutral/natural makeup and I wanted something more dramatic for my Hindu ceremony but Kaitlin did not disappoint!!! I decided to go with GAD after speaking with Tatiana on the phone. She was the most accommodating of all the hair and makeup vendors I spoke to in regards to my unique situation and schedule. She also gave me an extremely reasonable bundled price. Kaitlin did such an amazing job with my makeup that I decided to keep it for the Christian ceremony as well. She has done Indian weddings before and was familiar with the tikka and had ways of keeping it secure. She also made sure my hair was very secure as well. Both my hair and makeup lasted really well. Kaitlin adjusted well to the things I wanted fixed between the trial run and actual day. She also did her homework! I had showed her a picture on pinterest of what I wanted for makeup and she wasn't quite able to get the look at the trial. She came back having done research though and made my makeup look even better than the picture on pinterest. She also created a blended mauve lip color at the trial that I absolutely loved and sealed the deal!!! Also, my husband got a touch up in the morning and ended up taking a shower before the second ceremony. One of the artists doing my bridesmaids' makeup was kind enough to go over to his groom suite and redo his touch up. All in all, I would highly recommend GAD for their professionalism, accommodating nature, reasonable price, and amazing hair and makeup!!!

hey wanted to make sure I got everything I wanted. They were professional, on time, and flexible on the day of if changes needed to be made. Not only did our pratice session go great but on our wedding day, my hair and makeup came out ten times better. Plus it lasted all night long. The only thing I would recommend is that the touch-up kits be better personalized. Once the ladies were gone, my bridesmaids looked at their touch-up kits and the lip colors were completely different than what they were wearing, so they weren’t able to use them unfortunately. Some knew EXACTLY what they wanted and others had never had professional services before and just wanted them to use their best judgment. No matter the preference, Tatiana and her gals handled it all so well.
My only regret is that I wasn't more vocal with my hair and makeup choices. Don't get me wrong, Tatiana did exactly what I asked. However, looking back at my photos now, I wish my hair and been a different style and my eyes not so dark. Again, this is in no fault to Tatiana. She asked me how I liked it after it was over, and I told her it was great! And I meant it. She did a fantastic job. However, knowing my natural style and how I like my hair and makeup in my everyday look, I wish I would have stuck more true to that. That would be my only advice for other brides! Don't go for a dramatic look, that is vastly different from your normal style. You know what looks good on you, and my only wish is that I would have done more of that in my wedding look. I would have liked my hair looser/wavier, and my eyes lighter rather than a dramatic smokey. So, long story short...go with your gut!
