Brie is such a professional! I love her photo-journalism style, and her expertise really shows both in her execution and in the final product. Throughout the day, whenever a special moment was occurring (whether planned or unplanned), Brie was right there, always knowing the exact place to be. Even better, she is able to do it in a way that doesn't impede on your event - she truly captures the moment and the day without forcing things. I had so many compliments from the guests and especially the wedding party about how non-obtrusive she was, and they felt they could truly enjoy themselves and be in the moment rather than constantly stopping to grin at the camera. I can't say enough about the final photographs - they are such an amazing gift to ourselves to be able to look back at all of the special moments throughout the day. Gabrielle flew to Austin, TX to photograph my October wedding. She was phenomenal! Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made. My photographs are just magical and get right to the heart of the day with all details covered. Gabrielle was prepared for the event, timely with editing and delivery, and thorough in every way. I'm so glad I was particular about this detail because at the end of a wedding this has been the most cherished token we and our families have of the day. I was recommended her work from a friend. Gabrielle's website is clean and the unique moments I saw she had captured for other weddings and events was a great indicator to me that she would be a beautiful fit for us. Leading up to the wedding she was careful to find out about both my husband and I's taste and styles, how we live and work, what kind of wedding we were planning and specifics about the location. She had not seen the space so we gave her all the information we could so she could prepare to photograph. Though I am particular, she never made me feel my requests were unreasonable. Gabrielle had us list out all the specific family and formal shots we wanted ahead of time which made the day go super smooth for us. Photography is of utmost importance to me. It meant the world to me that she was meticulous to capture all the formal shots my family members and I wanted. She also recorded the magic of the day in a more subtle documentary style. We spent less then an hour getting all the formal photographs we wanted for a very large family with many intricate requests. This was critical as our wedding venue time with friends and family was only five hours and the times flies. In addition to the wedding itself, Gabrielle was with us all day to capture the process of getting ready and all of the special family moments that happen in that time. Gabrielle was professional and intuitive about how and when to shoot. Our photos were finished and ready for presentation before the first major holiday where I saw my family again. This was wonderful because of course they were all very eager to see them. Viewing the photos was easy and easy to share. Gabrielle sent archival files for us to keep. Fantastic! Her artistic eye and attention to detail exceeded all of my expectations. Her ability to capture beauty in so many candid shots amazed me.
