Gabrielle's Bride and Occasion Salon

I found my dream dress at Gabrielle's! This salon definitely has the classiest dresses I found in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. This was the last place I went to, after visiting five or six salons previously. I was the only person in the salon, so I had the attention of all the stylist and the seamstress. The seamstress made my dress a one-of-a-kind with all the alterations I wanted. I felt like a princess and these lovely ladies made my dream come true.

I can't say enough good things about Gabrielle's. The ladies here are fantastic to work with, and really care about your experience and finding you the perfect gown. Cathy was so sweet, and even sent me a handwritten note after I made my choice. The shop is pretty quiet and you're likely to have it to yourself. Ms. Helen, the owner, did my alterations and took such care to make sure everything was perfect, down to carrying my dress into the car so it wouldn't wrinkle. They have a beautiful selection of gowns as well. I would recommend this shop to any bride!

Beautiful experience. This was my only stop when I went out looking for a dress. They are an intimate boutique so I felt like I had all the attention I needed to pick my dress. Ms. Kathy was such a sweetheart trying to keep my mind calm and clear. Ms. Helen, the woman of all trades, swooped in to help me recognize my perfect dress and then made my vision happen! She didn't stop until it was perfect for me. I'd pick here over and over again instead of a big commercial store

I found my wedding dress at Gabrielle's and it was everything I was looking for. I found my dream dress and they made it all so easy! Megan is amazing and so helpful. I had to order my dress in a bigger size so that it would arrive on time. A lot of alterations had to be done because it was too large on me, and they pulled it off quickly and perfectly. My dress fit perfect and it was gorgeous. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much!

Ahh, where to start. These ladies were an absolute joy to work with. Ms. Beth was very attentive when I went to first appointment. I only tried on three dresses total and fell in love with my second dress! Returned to get my bridesmaids dresses from here, love that they open on a Sunday with an appointment, as it was the only day I could get all my girls together. Used them for alterations and preserving my dress! It was an amazing experience.

I purchased my gown at a charity event, but went to Gabrielle's for my fittings. Helen and Beth were professional, courteous, and helpful. You can tell they've been in the business a long time, they know their stuff! I loved my gown when I bought it but after their alterations I never wanted to take it off! It made me look and feel more beautiful than I ever have before! The fittings were easy, they were available to answer questions and were wonderful to work with. The quality of the work on my dress was fantastic!

Gabrielle's wasn't somewhere we had initially planned on shopping at, but after an incredibly disappointing experience elsewhere, we found Gabrielle's close by and decided to drop in. Joan was so sweet, and listened to what I was looking for. They had a great selection to choose from. I did find a dress that I loved there, but I found one elsewhere that I loved just a LITTLE bit more, so unfortunately, I didn't wind up purchasing from here. I would definitely recommend stopping in and seeing these super sweet ladies!

I went to Gabrielle's after visiting 3 other dress shops and not being able to commit to a dress. I found my dress that day. Helen was so helpful! They have a great selection of bridesmaid and mothers dresses as well!

I had already purchased my dress at another vendor. I purchased my veil from Gabrielle's. The staff is amazing to work with. You never have to call and wonder where your items are because they keep you up to date throughout the whole process. Wonderful ladies; I would recommend them to anyone.

Gabrielle's was the 4th dress shop I went to and they were the sweetest! I walked in and instantly fell in love with a dress. Once I said "yes to the dress" everyone in the store clapped and cried. I felt like I was in a movie. They were very easy to work with! And the tailor can work magic! I decided to go with a non-traditional bustle which I had to describe to the seamstress and she made it even better than I imagined. The women there remember your name and make you feel like the most beautiful bride! And the prices are reasonable!! Can't beat that!

I got the wedding dress of my dreams here! All of the ladies who work here are so nice and helpful. Mrs. Helen (owner) helped me find exactly what I was looking for and was even able to have the bustline of the dress change to a sweetheart for me (they do alterations in-shop)! So if you want an amazing wedding dress (or MOB, bridesmaids dresses, etc) go check them out!

These ladies are the best! Very, very easy to work with. They provide candid feedback on how a dress TRULY looks on you. I completely trusted their opinions & suggestions.

The ladies at Gabrielle's were so helpful and sweet!! It's not as crowded as some of the other shops, which makes for a very pleasant experience each time you go in.The staff makes you feel like you're the only bride they have! Gabrielle's does a 15% deal if you buy 3 items. I was able to get my dress, a veil, and earrings all from Gabrielle's and received 15% each item!

From day one of dress shopping to walking out with my dress shortly before the wedding, I always felt welcomed here. Everyone has an amazing personality and is super sweet. I fell in love with a beautiful Justin Alexander dress here and I'm glad I did. The ladies always inquired about the details of my wedding each visit and even recommnded a custom jeweler for my bridal jewelry. Thank you ladies for tolerating my numerous phone calls and being such joys to work with!

I purchased my bridal gown and selected my bridesmaid dresses from this boutique. The ladies of Gabrielle's were like a family and welcoming to me and my family. The selection was very thorough and prices were very reasonable. I had several alterations on my dress and my matron of honor who was 9 months pregnant also had alterations done through them. They made it all work and allowed us both to have a great fit in our dresses!

After checking ~5 places around town, I found two of my top gowns, and ultimately THE dress, at Gabrielle's. The quality of the dresses at Gabrielle's was FAR superior to chain vendors like Alfred Angelo and David's Bridal. Also, the variety of dresses was better, and the prices were very reasonable, especially if you can wait for a sale. I wanted my dress to cost <$1k, and I got it for ~$700! Loved it! Also, Gabrielle's does all of their own tailoring, and they did a perfect job. It was easy to schedule appointment. The ladies there are so helpful, not pushy like some of the chain stores. I felt like I was being catering to when I was there, and the prices were reasonable. The tailoring, including bustling, was about $350 for some large alternations. Overall, I spent right around $1000 for the dress + alternations!

I did not hear about Gabrielle's before I bought my dress so I bought it else where. But the shop I purchased it from did not offer alterations and did not even have a reommendation on where to go. A friend recommended I go to Gabrielle's and I'm so glad I did!! They did sucha beautiful job on my very difficult dress! Two days before the wedding, I tried my dress on and due to wedding stress weight loss, the dress was too big. I called Gabrielle's in a panic and they happilly took me in and re altered it in one day. I am so thankful for their friendly staff and amazing alteration skills!!

I loved my experience here. They made me feel so comfortable and they were so patient. Even my mom was trying on mother of the bride dresses. This place rocks

Loved my dress, but had some not-so-pleasant experiences with Gabrielle's. They mean well, they really do. I arrived at two scheduled appointments that we had to reschedule because they were not prepared for my appointment. (I was never called prior to my appointments and asked to reschedule, which would have been the right thing to do.) Things were delayed, things were improperly ordered, and there is sometimes tension between staff. I would probably advise my friends to go elsewhere.

Helen and her staff are phenomenal! I had purchased a wedding gown over 10 years ago and it was in a preservation box. It had never been worn. Gabrielle's worked fast and hard to update my dress, for a more modern look, and altered it to fit the me perfectly. They're a bit pricey, but it is worth every dime! Great job ladies!

I bought my dress from Gabrielle's. I went looking one day hoping to find a dress. I chose a few that I thought I'd love and the consultant chose a few for me as well. I fell in love with one of the ones that she chose. It's something I would have never chosen on my own. My mom encouraged me to still keep looking. I never felt pressured to buy so I left without the dress. As most brides do, I ended up going back and buying that dress! I enjoyed my experience with the ladies at Gabrielle's. I will say that the owner can be quite pushy and short in her tone of voice but luckily I had such great experiences with everyone else that it didn't really bother me. I also bought a veil and accessories so she was willing to work out a deal with us which really helped!

Gabirielle's bridal salon provided exceptional service and quality that I couldn't find anywhere else! They made sure I was happy. Everything I asked for and wanted done to my dress was accomplished and it was done with perfection! They are dress magicians! The most important aspect of Gabrielle's that I loved was that they made me feel like I was the only bride in the store. They catered to every concern I had with a smile. I had my final dress fitting two weeks before my wedding and I was concerned about the bust line being too low, so Helen came up with a plan. She made a personal phone call and ordered the exact french lace to add to the bust line. The lace didn't arrive until 3 days before my wedding! Not only did they get the alterations finished in time, but they had it pressed, steamed, and ready for my wedding day at 10am that morning. The dress was magnificent!!! I had nothing but complete trust in them and that was very important to me. I can't thank them enough for making me look and feel absolutely beautiful on the most important day of my life!

Great selection of dresses and easy to work with. I picked out the bridesmaids dresses from here. I wish I would have found my dress here too.
