About this vendor
Hey hey! My name is Gaby, and I'm a portrait and wedding photographer serving the DFW + San Antonio areas!
Taking pictures can be awkward...I totally get it! I aim to ease the stress of engagement sessions and wedding days by always giving clear direction when it comes to posing, leading with a calm approach during your portrait time, and creating a comfortable shooting environment (usually I do this by playing your favorite tunes in the background. Top 2000's Pop Hits anyone?!)! I got you!
Wedding days are just a few hours, a marriage is forever. If you're married to your best friend at the end of the day, then I'd consider that a success!
Everything else is just a bonus.

We had the absolute JOY of working with Gaby for both our engagement pictures and our wedding day.
From the first time we met with Gaby for our initial meeting, I immediately kne...
w I had made the right decision booking with her. She is extremely organized and thorough. She sends out emails full of all of the important information needed for photo sessions, tips and tricks, etc. Wedding planning is stressful, but Gaby made it SO much easier with her consistent communication and knowledge of the industry. She never made me feel like a bother with my countless questions that came up throughout the wedding planning process. One of my favorite parts about working with Gaby was the timeline she provided for us. We were able to combine her photography timeline with my wedding planner's timeline to make sure we had a seamless plan for the wedding day and make sure everyone is on the same page.
We had so much fun at our engagement session. My husband and I are not used to being in front of the camera, but Gaby worked her magic and helped make us feel comfortable right away. She coached us through the session and captured beautiful photos that were natural and candid. We actually left the session saying how much fun it was! The photos were absolutely stunning! Everything I could have ever asked for and more - capturing our love, the nature around us, plenty of natural light.
For our wedding photos, I didn't think they could be any more beautiful than our engagement pictures, but Gaby proved us wrong! She captured so many sweet moments, laughs, tears, and so many sweet memories from the day. We had so much fun working with her and her second shooter. They had us laughing throughout the day and made it so much fun for us. We've enjoyed going through all of our photos, and I've struggled to pick out our top favorites to post to social media because there are TOO many! I'm so glad we will have these memories to look back on forever.
I can't wait to work with Gaby again in the future!
Gaby did both our engagement and wedding photos and we could not have asked for a better experience! We spent weeks painstakingly trying to decide on a photographer and I'm so glad...
we went with our gut and chose Gaby. I could tell from our first phone call that she was genuine and organized. During our engagement session, she quickly helped us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. On our wedding day, Gaby did a great job of guiding us through the day. She was prompt and professional while being fun and flexible when necessary. On a day that can be overwhelming, she kept a pulse on how we were feeling and helped us stay centered. Many of our friends and family also noted that she was wonderful to be around on the wedding day. And on top of being great to work with, she is incredibly talented and her product is high quality and timeless. She delivered more photos than we expected and was quick with getting us previews and our full gallery. We will cherish Gaby's work forever and we are thankful she captured our day!

e consultation, I could tell she had a ton of experience in the wedding industry and was dedicated to her clients. On our wedding day, she captured the fun and excitement so well. I am so happy we booked with Gaby!
Gaby is the best photographer around and was the vendor I knew I was hiring even before I got engaged. After seeing her work at a friend’s wedding (where my husband was a vendor), ...
I knew I liked her personality and I liked her work! She is very organized and professional, but still friendly and easy to talk to. I would (and likely will) hire Gaby again in the future!

ndness. She photographed both our engagement session and our actual wedding day and was punctual and prepared each time. She was timely in returning galleries and was so generous with sneak peeks! She put a significant amount of effort into not just capturing the landmark events of the wedding day but capturing all the small moments that made our day uniquely “us”. Gaby is laid back and makes it so easy to feel at ease in front of the camera. Multiple of my other vendors spoke to me at great lengths about how much they loved working with Gaby. I will never stop recommending Gaby Caskey to anyone and everyone!

phers. Gaby stands out amongst them with her professionalism and ways to put people at ease. My husband is not a fan of taking pictures, yet Gaby was able to make him feel comfortable and made a deal with him to get pictures done as fast as possible so we could have time to enjoy part of the cocktail hour with our guests. Her style of editing is timeless and I’m so glad we will have the pictures she took to cherish forever. We loved Gaby’s pictures so much that we had her take our family portraits this year too!

ting way out of the park (she seriously captured our day in the most beautiful way possible), but she is also a true help throughout the whole wedding process! She is constantly sharing helpful things through direct communication, as well as through her instagram. She shares lots of great ideas, and really goes above and beyond to make the wedding day and planning go smoothly. She created my entire wedding timeline which was a godsend, and communicated this with all of my other vendors. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and really took the time to get to know us! She even sent us an anniversary gift personalized to activities that we enjoy as a couple. She invests in her clients and I cannot express enough how glad I am that we chose her!

lso super quick on providing super high quality work. She did our engagement shoot on a Saturday & we had the pictures in our inbox the next day. On the day of the wedding, super professional and efficient doesn't even describe how awesome she was. We got every picture we wanted but never felt like photography was in the way of anything we were doing. During the ceremony, didn't even notice them being there but they got everything we could have wanted. Would recommend Gaby to anyone and everyone!
There truly aren't enough AMAZING things I can say about Gaby! She shot our engagement photos and beautifully captured the love between my fiancé and I. She was always responsive, ...
on time to the shoot, so easy to get long with, provided a lot of direction without making the photos feel forced or unnatural, and got our full gallery back to us in absolute record time. I would recommend Gaby to every bride or individual looking to receive stunning photos at the end of a perfectly simple, seamless process! 20/10 stars.

s within 24hrs and our photos were sent to us 8 days later. Superfast! I was able to use them for our save the dates! We had never gotten professional photos taken before and she made it so easy. My fiance and I have been together for 8 years and will be getting married this year in December; we can be very shy people, but with Gaby, it was like taking photos with a family friend. She captured every perfect moment that I could have asked for. She had so many ideas and coached us through everything. Our photos were so beautiful! I would highly recommend her for any of your photography needs!!

ures, I studied different photographer's websites very carefully before contacting them. I knew pretty quickly that Gaby was the photographer I wanted to document our special day and she did not disappoint! She made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera (which is not an easy task!), she responded very promptly when we had questions, but most importantly, she captured our wedding day beautifully. Just as everyone says, the day FLIES by- and now all we have is the pictures - and I'm not kidding when I say I look at them almost every day. The photographer is someone who spends your big day with you- you want it to be someone as sweet and calm as Gaby!

e, professional, fun and most importantly, she put everyone at ease while taking amazing pictures! The wedding was Saturday and she already sent us some sneak peek pictures and we are in LOVE! I can't recommend her enough!

we also were able to use during our wedding day to help get more pictures faster. She edited and delivered our pictures within just a few weeks. She was so fun to hang out with and did a great job of organizing my larger family and my husband’s more complicated family for our family formal pictures. I would highly recommend Gaby!!!

gether and she made us feel at ease in front of the camera. This transitioned to our wedding day. She made sure to get every shot and reached out a few weeks ahead of time to ensure she knew what family groupings we wanted so it was super easy to coordinate the day of. She and her second shooter were super accommodating to meet us at our getting ready location to get shots in before heading to our venue. She also convinced us to do a first look so that we could have time together alone and so that we could get extra shots before it got dark - highly recommend! She let us pick the music to play on a speaker while we were taking our couples shots. Gaby even had a preview of our photos for us after dinner to show us on her laptop!!! She texted us those pictures right after so we had them to look at on our honeymoon. She had our blog post with tons of photos to share with friends and family prepared before we got home and sent us our wedding gallery 2 days after - which was about 2 weeks after our wedding. I was blown away at her professionalism and attention to detail throughout the whole process. She literally thought of everything. We and our families both love our photos so much and look forward to having her take our pictures in the future. HIGHLY recommend booking Gaby!! She is the BEST.

he was in touch the whole week before the wedding with helpful documents to keep us on track for the big day. On the day of, she was nothing short of incredible. She moved quickly, she was fun, she kept us engaged, she snapped all of the photos I could think of and many more. We had asked her if she could do videography as well, and she admitted she hadn't done a video, but she'd be willing to try for us and let me tell you, it was perfect! My whole family cried when they watched it and had no clue it was her first video. She answered any and all questions we had and she was a lot of fun to work with. I would highly recommend working with Gaby!!

all of the information was laid out really clearly. Our engagement session felt like a date night because she made us feel special and comfortable even though it was freezing :) I was so genuinely excited to see her on our wedding day--she was so excited for us, helped us soak in our day and I FULLY trusted her with capturing our day. I really felt like this trust paid off, because she NAILED our pictures. She sweetly surprised us by setting up a laptop with previews of our wedding day pics at the reception, which our guests (and us!) loved! We had previews sent to us that night, too, which was so kind of her to send. I was floored by her promptness in getting our pictures back. We have been married for 4 months now and I still have people coming to me saying how wonderful our photographer was-- from family to coworkers of people in our wedding parties, compliments for her keep pouring in. I LOVE Gaby, her heart and her talent. Hire her!

menal job!
When taking the engagement photos, I hate being in front of the camera and get extremely awkward, but she made the whole session easy, fun and relaxing. She made us laugh, played our favorite songs in the background, gave us different prompts, and helped us with our inexperienced posing to where everything felt so natural. I got teary eyed when I saw the images. I'm SO excited for the wedding and I have complete peace in my perfectionist, OCD heart knowing she's going to be the one to capture all of the love and memories on our big day. Do NOT hesitate to book her!
