Gaie Lea

Gaie Lea is a magical venue. There are stunning views, quiet corners, and a timeless feel. The venue staff were accommodating and helpful. We loved being able to stay on location for the weekend. The view from the pool is a highlight, and the big oak tree was a perfect location for the ceremony. The pavilion is great too and the lake was sparkly at sundown. You may need to rent a tent, tables, and chairs, depending on how large your wedding is.

My husband and I got married at the Pavilion at Bells Lane on Oct. 19, 2019. The Pavilion is part of Gaie Lea, and it’s available for rental separately from the grounds and the house. Renting just the Pavilion for the weekend was such a great choice to have! It was an economical and beautiful option. Most of our closest guests were within driving distance or had family and friends to stay with, so we didn’t need the house. However, the house and grounds are spectacular and if you have the means and need to have more space, I would highly recommend utilizing them. The staff provides tables and chairs, a working stone fireplace and fire pit with wood for both, and pretty much all the freedom to decorate as you see fit. We had a local Caribbean restaurant bring their pit smoker for our catering, and the venue was totally fine with that. We had a live band, strung lights up all over the place - all good. This is a gorgeous local venue with lots of space and lovely views. The only hiccup was the toilet trailer backed up in the ladies’. I will say that this is a pretty DIY venue, and you will be responsible for cleaning up after - including cleaning the bathrooms and floors. We hired a very affordable local cleaning service for this and it was pretty easy. We loved it. Thank you, Becky and everyone else at Gaie Lea!
