Tim and Caitlin are amazing! Hiring them was one of the best decisions we ever made. They are warm, wonderful people who are fantastic at what they do. They somehow manage to be super professional and create amazing photographs while also making you feel like you’re just hanging out with friends. We had a blast doing our engagement shoot with them, and when we had to reschedule our wedding because of the pandemic they were very understanding. They worked with us to make sure they could photograph our elopement and our rescheduled wedding. They do such a wonderful job at making everyone comfortable during portraits and blending into the background during important moments. They are also very helpful during the planning process and gave timely responses to all my questions. AND they take gorgeous photos! We are in love with all the photos they’ve taken for us - they will help us relieve this special time in our lives forever. We really wanted to hire photographers who would ensure both a great experience and amazing photos, and that’s exactly what we got with Tim and Caitlin. Tim & Caitlin are two of my favorite people. We interviewed 3 wedding photographers in late 2018/ early 2019 for our 2020 wedding. When we met Tim & Caitlin we knew they were the ones. From our amazing engagement photos in 2019 to their flexibility and professionalism in 2020, they were phenomenal. We aren't big picture takers, but it was very important to me for our photos to feel natural and not overly posed. Caitlin always has the right thing to say to make you laugh and bring out every person's natural glow and beauty. They truly care about their clients and tend to make lifelong friendships with so many of them. Eventually we'll have some kiddos, and like many of their other clients, Tim & Caitlin will be our go-to family photographer as well. They are simply wonderful humans that make the most incredible photos.

I cannot say enough great things about Tim and Caitlin. They are simply AMAZING humans and photographers. The duo made us feel so comfortable during our engagement session and on our wedding day between all of our nerves and excitement. Tim and Caitlin are so personable and a complete pleasure to work with. They are so talented and really know how to bring out your personality and relationship through their photos. They were also SO quick at delivering our engagement session photos and wedding photos! We couldn't imagine working with anyone else for our wedding and plan to go to Tim and Caitlin for as many future photo session needs as we possibly can!

Caitlin not only did my family photos last Christmas and did a PHENOMENAL job, but she and her husband were willing to help me out in a terrible bind with my wedding. Two weeks before my wedding when I couldn't get ahold of my original wedding photographer, I reached out to them and they were so kind and willing to bend over backwards to help me out! They responded quickly, and gave me all the information I needed. I can't tell you the stress relief I felt. I am so thankful for them, and their willingness to help. Book them and you will absolutely not be disappointed.

The BEST choice we made for our wedding was to hire the Gallivans! They were extremely professional, amazing at their craft and hands-down my favorite people to work with! They made my husband and I feel very comfortable in front of the camera and helped guide us into natural looking poses. Even my bridesmaids could not stop raving about how great they were! Not being local to the area, I was having a tough time choosing the right vendors - until I met Caitlin and Tim! They were very responsive to my questions, and went above and beyond to help me find the right vendors. Not only are they amazing at what they do, but they are well connected in the industry. They knew my venue was a little darker, and were fully prepared with the right gear to capture every moment! They even hiked in the rain with me to get the perfect shot! Talk about full service! This is the team you want capturing your big day. They are wonderful. You will not regret it!

Gallivan Photo crushed our wedding day photography! I have work experience in both the photography and weddings industries, so I knew that a great photographer was the first thing to lock down once our venue was chosen. Photos are the most tangible lasting memory of your wedding day, so it's important to pick someone whose style of photography you love, and whose personality works well with yours. We loved Tim and Caitlin's vibe from the first time we chatted (like, let's be friends IRL). They are professional but fun, and when behind the lens they know how to capture a great shot while also making their subjects feel at ease. Throughout the planning process, they were communicative and quick to respond, and Caitlin was a great resource to bounce ideas off of (whether photography related or not). As bride and groom, the day goes by in a blur, and the only moments we had “alone” together were being captured by Caitlin and Tim. We truly enjoyed having them around all day – they knew when to take charge and when to recede into the shadows. My mom applauded their organization and ability to herd all of our relatives together for formal family photos. Seriously, they helped keep our entire day fun and running smoothly! Last but not least, the photos speak for themselves. They are beautiful. Caitlin and Tim were wonderful to work with, so fun to hang out with, and we will treasure these photographs the rest of our lives. THANK YOU!!

Five stars is certainly not enough. Tim and Caitlin were the photographers for our wedding in central Oregon in May. Our photos from our wedding and our engagement session as well are stunning - I had no idea how much I would love our photos! Tim and Caitlin are professional and so, so kind. They offered great recommendations for local vendors (we were coming from out of state) and were always willing to help and give advice heading up to the event. During the event they were prompt, on schedule, and clearly experts at what they do. We also received our gallery from the wedding in what must be record time! If you are looking for a photographer, I simply can not recommend Gallivan Photo enough.

My husband and I were referred to Tim and Caitlin by the photographer we were hoping to hire (a new Mum, unsure she'd be able to commit to our day). Living across the country from them and our venue, we met them via conference call and immediately felt at ease. It was clear they knew what they were doing and that they wanted to create a personalized experience for us. We did look at three or four other photographers but they all seemed a bit cookie cutterish for us and were far more expensive. On our big day, they were a breath of fresh air. They had a fun and funny dynamic that helped set a relaxed tone that enhanced our day. They were minimally invasive during the more intimate moments. They provided a sneak peek early on, a gorgeous slide show and then the full gallery before we expected it. The pictures are breathtaking and captured our day so well. We are over the moon and have received many compliments on them. Our only regret is that we didn't book them for longer. We didn't get photos for the latter part of the reception or when we were leaving and wish we would have. (Don't try to save cash when it comes to your photos.) Absolutely recommend this awesome team!

We could not have been happier choosing Gallivan Photo as our wedding photographers. Tim and Caitlin really go above and beyond for their clients. We loved getting to know them at our engagement session, they made us feel at ease and made us look so great even though we felt so awkward having our pictures taken. We LOVED our engagement photos and have received so many compliments on them. They were great at communicating through the entire planning process and really took the stress out of the photography aspect of our wedding. They were so great during the wedding day too! Our guests said they were everywhere at the reception taking all kinds of pictures and blending in. They made our bridal party photos so easy and were such troopers during our super long family photo shot list. They left us a beautiful box with our names and wedding date engraved and little gifts. The best part was 30 preview photos of our day that we got to look at that night. We are so excited to see the rest of the photos! They made us look so wonderful! Tim and Caitlin are so talented and fun to work with! I would recommend them to any couple planning a wedding who is looking for a photographer that does amazing work and they will feel 100% comfortable with.

We booked Gallivan for our wedding at Brasada in November and from the moment we met them on FaceTime (we were coming from Portland), we knew they were perfect. They are down to earth, approachable, genuine, hilarious and made us feel totally at ease. They offered direction when needed, but the rest of the time let us do our thing and captured the most genuine special moments. In retrospect, for our wedding, we asked them to capture photos in every light/background and the whole album was INCREDIBLE - we did our first look at Smith Rock and the photos/background were STUNNING. Family photos in 30-degree weather, everyone looked great. Our ceremony was at sunset with the sun setting behind us and they captured the most PERFECT lighting. And of course, the pics captured during reception indoors later were just GORGEOUS. Oh and we did our engagement photos in front of the Portland cityscape on an overcast rainy day and they were so cool! So, Gallivan does it all, and they do it while being the kindest couple of photographers you’ll ever meet.

Tim and Caitlin are extremely talented. Their pictures are absolutely gorgeous. Beyond this, they are so easy to be around and can make even the most awkward person (like myself) feel completely natural in front of a camera. Tim and Caitlin have given us the most amazing gift, when we see our wedding pictures we get to relive the best day of our lives. I find myself looking at my wedding pictures very often just because I am so in love with them. Choosing Tim and Caitlin for our wedding photographers was the best decision we have ever made.

Photography was one our top priorities for our wedding day, and its budget. We loved that Gallivan was a husband and wife team with two primary photographers taking their own images. They captured the joy we felt on our best day, and we're so thankful we'll have those images forever. Easy and fun to work with, made us feel like our best selves in front of the camera. Caitlin and Tim were a huge reason why our wedding day was so perfect. They were super responsive from the start. They made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot and wedding day (Caitlin is SO good at making you laugh and not feel so awkward). Finding Tim and Caitlin was probably the best thing that happened in our wedding planning! I fell in love with their beautiful photos online, and knew from the second we spoke that they were exactly the people we needed to document our intimate day. They are well-prepared and professional, yet incredibly charming and warm. They captured the most special candid moments of the day, created beautiful portraits, and found us the most stunning backdrops. They also made us, two people who readily admit we look awful in most photos, feel comfortable and natural which translated into beautiful photos. Our photos perfectly represent the essence of us, our families, and our story. We are so thankful to have these photos to look back on for the rest of our lives.

We couldn’t have asked for better wedding photographers than Gallivan Photography! Tim + Caitlin had everything, and I mean everything under control, and on lock. From wrangling people for family portraits, to finding the most breathtaking view of the Cascade Mountain Range for our bridal portraits, as well as photographing the venue before guests arrived, AND keeping us calm and laughing to boot! Tim + Caitlin were able to capture our nine year romance perfectly. Tim even used his cellphone (we didn’t have one on us!) to call concierge to see what cabin we were in, as we got lost on the way there! They not only care about capturing your love perfectly, but also that your day runs as smoothly as possible—they are phenomenal human beings, as well as photographers!

Your wedding photos are the most important keepsake from your day. You are fine messing up a lot of decisions or having things go wrong, but do NOT mess up by not hiring Tim and Caitlin. Seriously, they were the perfect mix of professional and fun to help my husband and I have an engagement photo experience, rehearsal dinner candids, and beautiful wedding photos that are so us (and look like our best selves). You will get great communication, collaboration, and photos to cherish when you work with Tim and Caitlin!

You would be hard-pressed to find a photographer with their sense of calm, skill and enthusiasm. Tim and Caitlin are incredible and they took the most beautiful photos from our elopement in Oregon. They didn't bat an eye when we told them the venue would be a hike to a waterfall--no worries, they'd been there before! And they didn't pressure us for any specific photos or ideas, they simply documented our day and kept it about us and our vows. We had an incredible time with them and the photos were stunning (and delivered pretty quickly). My husband and I have received wonderful feedback from friends and family. Literally we have NO COMPLAINTS or wishes for something else. They delivered incredible services and results from start to finish. We adored working with them and know you will, too.

We can’t put into words how happy we are with our photos from Tim and Caitlin. ALL of our photos are simply breathtaking. Tim and Caitlin were able to capture the most real and raw moments during both our wedding ceremony and engagement session. Tim + Caitlin were amazing to work with! Their photos are absolutely gorgeous! They really put us at ease, as both of us were extremely nervous and awkward. They made the whole process a lot of fun and they have a fantastic eye for candid photos. They had to work with some unfavorable lighting conditions (extremely sunny day) during our wedding and the pictures they produced are absolutely amazing. We highly recommend working with them!

I researched for a while before I ended up booking Tim and Caitlin for our photos. I loved the style of their work and I am so happy I chose them to shoot our wedding! Heath and I are not used to taking pictures together in this way but Tim made it really comfortable during our engagement pictures. I'm really glad we did the engagement pictures first because we got to know Tim a bit and he is a great guy! We didn't meet Caitlin until our wedding day but she is super sweet as well! They made the whole process really easy and they were great to work with! I am so happy with all of our pictures and how they turned out! Tim was extremely flexible with our schedule and location. We didn't have a set location until about a month before our wedding and we actually changed it up on him a few times during the planning process. Whenever we contacted him about a change, he would reply immediately to let us know that it was doable. Our wedding was extremely intimate and he was able to capture all of our favorite moments. Tim and Caitlin were our photographers for our wedding on 9/10/2016. They were amazing! We are so happy we used them and are very happy with how our photos turned out. They are very personable, professional and down the earth! I would recommend them to anyone!!!

Caitlin and Tim did our engagement photos out at the Painted Hills in Oregon, and they turned out AMAZING!! My fiancé and I aren't super comfortable in front of the camera, but they did such a fantastic job of making us feel comfortable and like ourselves that you couldn't see our awkwardness show through in the pictures AT ALL. We brought our pup (William), who is a member of the family, and he responded SO well to them! He is always overly hyper and hard to make stay for any picture at all, but somehow, Caitlin and Tim had the touch because William sat perfectly in our pictures. We could not have asked for a better engagement shoot! They were SUPER timely with getting us in their schedule, we are incredibly grateful and will definitely be looking into setting up a 'day after' shoot.

Tim and Caitlin were the perfect photographers for our engagement photo session! Not only do they take gorgeous pictures, they are also just cool people to be around! We consider them friends now :) I had mentioned to them that we would like pictures in front of some mountains, and Tim and Caitlin knew of the perfect 'secret spot' for an amazing setting. They are professional but fun to shoot with. We love them so much, and plan on using them to capture our life events in the future!

After some stressful weeks of wedding planning, my husband and I decided we'd forgo the formal wedding ceremony we originally had in mind. My biggest priority, however, was still photography and I wanted the very best photographers I could find to capture our memories. Tim and Caitlin went above and beyond my expectations! Because we didn't have that traditional "big day," I wanted our photos to be what we cherished forever, and as I look around our house, now full of our breathtaking engagement and wedding photos, I am so thankful we had the perfect people to capture our happiness together. Working with Tim and Caitlin feels more like working with two friends. They make it that comfortable and fun! Ultimately they want what you want, and they will make your photography dreams a reality--whether it's those precious, candid moments caught on camera, that look your fiancé gives you when you're completely unaware, the smiles and joy of family and friends, or the beautiful scenery surrounding you, Tim and Caitlin will capture it! What other photographers would happily travel hours to drive down a steep, rocky, riveted "road" only to help you carefully carry wedding attire down dirty slopes in order to get THE best, most memorable pictures imaginable? These guys! Book them before someone else does. It'll be the second most important "I do" you say!

Gallivan Photo exceeded our expectations in pretty much every way. Because we were friends, it was easy to let Tim and Caitlin be part of our preparations and events. But they are both easy going and would probably seem at ease in almost any setting. I never felt like our photo team was intruding on our event, but the resulting pictures showed that they were clearly not afraid to get into the action and capture many great moments. The final delivery of images was nicely packaged, and we love being able to share the public web gallery that they provided.

These guys are rock stars! Tim and Caitlin started shooting at 9 a.m., splitting up to cover the preparations for both sides of the bridal party, and they kept shooting long into the night. Tim was able to stay invisible most of the day, with the exception of the portraits, and the photos he has sent me so far have been incredible and candid. Might have something to do with a journalism background. Photos of dancing and other action are great. We also used Tim for our engagement shoot, which was an incredible experience. He was down for any kind of adventure, driving up to Portland to race the setting sun and capture the murals of the city. He helped us realize our vision and create a unique series that we have cherished for months. Thanks, Tim and Caitlin, for a fun day. We hope you guys had a great time. We love you both.
