Gallo's Bakery

The cake was excellent! It was fresh, tasty, and everyone brought home a slice. Even better: it looked as good as it tasted. They did an excellent job and I would definitely use them again.

Our wedding cake was perfect! Not only was the cake design itself beautiful, but it tasted even better. We had a three layer cake and every layer was delicious. Our guests commented especially on how good the chocolate with peanut butter filling layer was. I definitely recommend using Gallos!

Our cake didn't look exactly how I imagined but it made up for it in taste! The white sponge with vanilla butter cream was absolutely delicious, people were asking for seconds!

We hired Gallos through our venue (Indian Springs Country Club aka Marco's Banquet)and they made the most delicious cake ever. They had so many flavors and gorgeous designs. I can't even count the number of compliments we got on our cake.

Our wedding cake came out beautifully and everyone kept commenting on the amazing taste they wouldn't expect from a wedding cake!

My husband and I were not particularly interested in having a cake, but after much grief from our families we chose to get a small one for our wedding. We chose Gallo's because they are well known in our area as having great cakes. Most importantly, their website listed pumpkin as a seasonal cake flavor! Unfortunately, we weren't able to try our cake before our actual wedding. I was adamant about not using real flowers, but looking back I wish I hadn't been. The sugar flowers lost their shape throughout the night.

Everyone raved about the cupcakes we had at our wedding. We had Chocolate, Vanilla, Reese's and Carrot cake - all were enjoyed! Our cake on top was awesome! We had asked for a red and white checkerboard look to go along with our BBQ wedding theme - and this just brought it all together! It was great!

Since I was a little girl, I had always wanted cup cakes at my wedding instead of a regular cake. I thought they were too boring. Gallo's was able to make my dream come true. We had 3 types of cupcakes and a beautiful small cake we can use for our 1st anniversary. They were also able to bake a cake for my maid of honor's birthday and decorate the carrot cake to match our theme. Truly special.

Our cake from Gallo's was part of our catering package, but it was a great choice to luck into. The design was nothing fancy (though they would have gone all out if we'd asked), but the cake was DELICIOUS. The only complaints we heard were that people wished they'd known to try more flavors! We took a bunch of leftovers on our honeymoon, and ate a little all week. We can't wait for our first anniversary to see how the top layer did in the freezer!

We had our reception at Lakeside Manor/McFaddens in Gibbsboro, NJ. They gave a choice of 3 bakeries to get a free standard cake, Diane’s La Patisserie, Country Sweets in Woodbury, and Gallo Bakery. My fiancé (now husband) wanted a custom design. First, we went to Diane, whose samples were okay, not the tastiest, but okay. She seemed friendly in a stuck-up sort of way. She was going to charge us an additional $125 for the custom design. Because of the price, we decided to try the next bakery. Country Sweets in Woodbury = Yuck. Oh, the designs on the cakes are fabulous – but at the expense of taste. The frosting is almost pure lard, and the pound cake was super DRY (he told us that’s the way pound cake is supposed to be). Whatever. He was going to charge $100. Since we saw on Gallo Bakery’s website that their cakes don’t look professional-professional, I emailed Diane and told her we’d go with her. She emailed back and told me she decided to charge an additional $100 after she had written down a quoted price of $125. Whatever. We then decided to try Gallo’s Bakery in Mt. Laurel. Wow! The pound cake tasted SO GOOD and moist! The frosting was made with mostly butter, too, so even the frosting tasted good. When we asked her how much more for the custom design, she said it was FREE. At the reception, we noticed that the design wasn’t the greatest… but, all the guests raved how GREAT and TASTY the cake was. There were NO pieces of cake left! I want to go back there for every one of our anniversaries and get a small pound cake with that frosting!

I have had many cakes done here and my wedding cake was no exception. I love the cakes at Gallos and the designer is so easy to work with! I gave her a photo and my cake was perfect! Every year on our anniversary I plan to have them make a small replica for us :)

My cake was so good cute and had me speechless. Everyone loved the cake and are still talking about the cake. it was so good my husband and i could not save the top part for a year. we ate it a week after the wedding

Our wedding cake was delicious and looked beautiful. The only thing issue we had with Gallo's was the consultant we dealt with. She didn't have much of a personality and wasn't very helpful when I asked for suggestions on the décor of my cake. She actually seemed irritated that I was unsure of exactly what I wanted when I walked in. She also spoke about the problems their company was having with my venue which ended up stressing me out, and left my husband and I worried that something would go wrong. In the end the cake turned out beautifully and was delicious. Their customer service just needs a little work.

Gallo's did an outstanding job on our wedding cake. It was exactly what I asked for and it was delicious. They were very nice to work with also.

We chose Gallo's bakery because The Mansion included the cake, we had to pick between 3 bakery's. The cake was amazing. The baker had my design down. The one down fall I had was that she did not use the right sugar flowers on the cake that we paid for. We chose pink star gazer lilies to match the centerpieces and to bring in the pink from the wedding color. The rest of the cake was white. The cake was pretty but not what I wanted. The flowers were wrong. She used calla lilies but they were not pink. She called me on the Thursday before sounding confused and I reminded her we paid for the star gazer lilies and she went through her paperwork and found it. I do beleive she never ordered the correct flowers and instead of being upfront with me on that phone call she didn't say anything. And I was a little shocked when I saw the cake. The taste and all was good. I just wish she would have been up front with me about the incorrect flowers being on the cake.

We got married at Lakeside Manor in Gibbsboro, NJ and they had three bakeries that you can choose from if you go with their wedding package that includes a wedding cake. We are glad that we chose Gallo's! We had rave reviews about the cake although we didn't get to eat any LOL. The cake was moist and we chose a strawberry custard filling that was divine! We also had handmade sugar flowers added to the cake which made it look amazing! Overall, a job well done!

Delicious, they were able to make the cake based on multiple pictures I put together and it was perfect.
