The courses are world class. Rooms were immaculate and the staff was fantastic. The only feedback I’d offer would be:
- there are many blind shots. Seems a good enhancement would GPS trackers on carts so you can see where the group in front ...
of you is to avoid hitting into them.
- Danny Boy restaurant menu and food quality were just OK. Not bad, but didn’t blow our minds.
- please build a 3rd 18 hole course!!

sign and setup. The restrooms at that location were not serviced enough however. They were a mess at 9am in the morning and in the same condition later in afternoon. The buffet got a 7 out of 10 the night we had the prime rib...that was not good, full of fat, more fat then eatable meat. The room was spectacular. Please put an end table between the chairs on deck to set a glass on, there was no table out there. Front desk staff is always great along with shuttle cart drivers. Wasn't real impressed with your new course, however hoping you have things figured out before booking our next annual trip. Thank you for a great weekend!

played the Sands Course twice and Scarecrow once, and both offer something unique while still sharing that signature Gamble design. The Sands Course makes golf fun for everyone, while the new Scarecrow course is a bit more demanding — and once it matures over the next few seasons, it’s going to be a true shot-maker’s paradise.
The entire facility is world-class, and the staff match that standard. Every single person I interacted with showed exceptional customer service. A special shoutout to Kyle in the pro shop and Albert, the starter on the first tee — both went above and beyond to make my visit memorable.
I highly recommend visiting Gamble Sands. I’ll definitely be back in a few years once Scarecrow has had time to mature. Well done, Gamble team!

Loved the lodging and its amenities of heated pool, huge putting course outside the back door and the gorgeous view of the landscape.
Loved Gamble Sands. Could play that course over and over again.
Did not love the prices of green fees for Scar...
ecrow and for hotel lodging. Both were overpriced. Scarecrow course was opened way too early, which was the feel of other golfers I talked to and even some staff. Save your time and money for it in 2027. Hotel lodging was great, but $400 a night..? Wild, yo…
