I genuinely wish there was an option for more than five stars. Garden & Garnish catered our wedding on 11/2/24 and we've received countless compliments from our guests in the week ...
after. Chef Brian and his staff were maybe the best part of our wedding - professional, flexible, knowledgeable, and kind. We so appreciated his expertise and input. Garden & Garnish accommodated allergies and last minute changes with ease. I've already sent two thank you notes and would send more if it didn't make me seem like a stalker.

ery responsive to my millions of questions! Brian put together a custom menu for our wedding and the food was amazing. It was also plated beautifully and all of our guests complimented the food at our wedding. Brian took the time to do multiple venue walk throughs, come up with ways for us to maximize our budget and was just generally fun to work with the entire time! We highly recommend Garden and Garnish!

Brian Schmidt and Garden and Garnish did an outstanding job for our early October, Eastern Shore wedding. I heard nothing but praises about the food from the appetizers to the ent...
rees. G&G was a full-service, professional, outstanding catering company. We chose crab cakes, stuffed mushrooms, grilled cheese with tomato dipping sauce, and bruschetta as our appetizers. They were plentiful and delicious and continued to be passed for the entirety of cocktail hour. We chose to do a buffet style dinner and everything was pipping hot and wonderful. The servers were quick and because Brian set up 3 different stations, no one waited in line for their dinner. We had basil balsamic chicken, beef tenderloin, asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, buttermilk biscuits, salad, and wedding cake. Everything was perfect. Brian even decorated the wedding cake beautifully with seasonal berries. We had brought the rest of the desserts ourselves and G&G plated and displayed them beautifully along with coffee and tea after dinner. My highest praises! Wonderful job done by all the G&G staff!
We thank our lucky stars we found chef Brian Schmidt. We live in NYC, and most of our guests were coming down from the city and had never experienced the splendors of the Eastern ...
Shore, so we wanted to make it very special for them. Brian worked with us to create a gorgeous menu of traditional and local foods that were perfectly in tune with the late summer season. He has his own garden and only uses local vendors (from the crab to the cheese to the extra vegetables). Most importantly, the groom is vegetarian, and rather than suggesting “pasta salad” like every other vendor, he presented us with roasted fennel stuffed with rosemary polenta, pinenuts and portobello mushrooms; fresh garden tomatoes stuffed and roasted with dill-seasoned sweet corn; bulgur wheat with sautéed mushrooms and roasted red peppers, green pea shoots; and orange, apple and raspberry salad with mint. Not only did we hear from everyone that it was the “best wedding food I’ve ever had,” but we also heard people say that it was simply some of the best FOOD they’ve ever had. The crab cakes were unbelievably good.
Beyond the food, Brian is flexible, creative, helpful and also provided delicious salads and a vegetarian option for our crab feast rehearsal dinner. He also has his own tables, chairs, linens and dishes, which are not only lovely, but helped keep overall costs low. His staff were thoughtful and attentive.
A wonderful, wonderful value for perfect food. A++!
