I can't say enough wonderful things about Joy and Garden by the Gate Floral Design. We were lucky enough to have Joy design not only our incredible wedding flowers, but also our Rehearsal dinner florals as well at Gervasi Vineyard in June. The time, knowledge and expertise that Joy has is unlike any other wedding florist I know. I showed Joy tons of inspiration photos/ideas and she knew every single flower and knew off the top of her head if it would be in season/what colors it came in and exactly how much everything would cost. She is very professional and our guests could not comment enough how beautiful her work was being the most beautiful arrangements/florals they had ever seen ( I could not agree more, everything was stunning!). Joy and her amazing talent MADE our wedding an absolute dream. At the end of the evening, one of the Gervasi staff members said "Out of all the weddings that have been in this Pavilion, we have never seen it look more beautiful and Elegant as it did today". Joy made our day a dream! Trust Joy and hire her for your wedding/event. You will not regret it !

Joy was absolutely wonderful to work with. She understood our vision and color palette which then allowed her to create the most beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres. We gave her creative control to create our florals and she exceeded our expectations! We have received countless compliments on how stunning our florals were!

Joy was absolutely incredible! I would give her 100 stars if I could. All of our phone calls and meetings prior to our wedding day were great and she was so easy and so much fun to work with. She had great ideas and truly brought our unique vision to life. She really thought outside the box and exceeded our expectations of what our final wedding day would look like. I had all different color bridesmaid dresses and she matched the flowers perfectly - to the point that our guests asked if we picked the dresses based off the flower colors! Her and her team did an excellent job with my bridal bouquet, the boutonnieres, the arch florals were incredible, the centerpieces, and all of the extra little touches she added in. I could not recommend Joy and Garden by the Gate enough!!!!

Joy did a wonderful job with my daughter’s wedding flowers. Bouquets, table centerpieces and the arch were just what we wanted. She was easy to work with and stayed within our budget.

I had Garden By The Gate as my wedding florist and would highly recommend them! Joy was fantastic to work with and met all of my wishes for my wedding flowers! The flowers turned out beautiful and were just what I envisioned and more! The only reason I rated a 4 was because of a few communication bumps but everything was perfect on the wedding day so they really didn’t even matter. Highly recommend!!

We are beyond pleased with the service we received from Garden by the Gate! We got married during the Pandemic of 2020 (in October) so we first had a phone meeting during the shut down where she asked us a lot of questions to get an idea of what we were looking for. Later on, we met with her in person outside with masks on and she showed us what she had put together! She delivered mine and my Bridesmaids bouquets to the hotel we were getting ready at so we would all have them for our pictures! She then delivered the rest to the guys at the venue and help set up the flowers in various locations we decided on. She went with the flow since plans had to change due to the weather and she was very accommodating. She was very friendly and the flowers were absolutely perfect!! I HIGHLY recommend!!

Joy is an amazing florist. She came impressively prepared with slides of options for our first consultation. Her ideas are so helpful, creative, and gorgeous. Due to the pandemic, we made a few changes to our wedding and Joy was right there to help. Our backyard wedding was beautiful and the flowers were absolutely stunning. As I write this review a week later, my house is still full of all the beautiful flowers that still look good and smell sweet. I highly recommend Garden by the Gate and would choose her again and again for any floral need.

Joy was wonderful to work with and designed the bouquet, wedding flowers and table arrangements exactly as I would have imagined. She was familiar with the wedding venue from prior work, which made it much easier to choose the best arrangements. I highly recommend her services. You will be thrilled with her designs.

Beautiful bouquets!

Joy did a wonderful job with our flowers! I had a vision for our flowers and she went above and beyond! We had special golf boutonnières because my husband loves golf and they were a huge hit, we had tons of compliments.

All I can say is WOW. Joy blew me away with the absolutely amazing bouquets and boutonnieres she created. I had an outdoor wedding in the woods and I really wanted the flowers to look natural and reflect the setting. Joy is truly an artist and she not only listened to my vision, but she also put together flowers that were even better than I had imagined! If you're looking for an awesome florist, look no further than Garden by the Gate. You will not be disappointed!

Joy and Nan were absolutely amazing to work with!! We started planning over a year ahead of our wedding, and they were there every step of the way. I was struggling to envision what I wanted, and they were able to put together slides of pictures and arrangements, along with a personalized Pinterest page that I could add ideas too!! We highly recommend them to anyone looking for wedding flowers (or really, any event)!! You will not be disappointed with anything - our flowers were sooo highly complimented!!
