Holds ceremonies and receptions
Everyone thought the space was beautiful and the dance floor was filled all night! Angela at the garden house was very professional and accomadating for our early-January wedding. Typically, Look Park has a Santa's Trains event at this venue, which is not cleaned up and removed until it reopens after the holidays. I did not want Christmas decor at our Jan 3 wedding, and Angela was willing to break down Santa's trains EARLY on Jan 2 so we could come in on the afternoon of the 2nd and decorate! On the 2nd Angela was very flexible, stayed late to give us enough time to decorate, and allowed us to decorate the cake in the professional kitchen. During the wedding the staff was great and cleanup was easy and quick. Overall, this is a five-star venue.
My only notes for future brides would be the dance floor was a little small for our110-ish person wedding. However, I think if we held this in summer folks would have spilled out onto the outdoor patio and it would have been fine.

Unfortunately due to some last minute rain we weren't able to have our ceremony at the Pines Theater but the site coordinator Angela was able to arrange for us to still have a beautiful ceremony under the tent next to the Garden house.
And speaking of Angela, she was AMAZING, gave us great vendor recommendations, worked with us every step of the way and went out of her way to make sure we had an amazing night. We truly felt that she was invested in our wedding as we were.
The prices are very fair for what you get - this is a beautiful venue in a beautiful park - and go towards supporting a great non-profit. Would highly recommend getting married at the Garden House, and if you're not in the market to get married then still come to Look Park, it's a beautiful highlight of the Florence community.

She is fantastic and even sent a golf cart to go pickup my husband’s cousin who was playing live music at their Fall Festival. The only thing I gave 4 stars for was that I wish there was a little more communication prior to the wedding as I like to plan things in advance and we ended up deciding on a lot of details at the rehearsal which made me nervous but it all turned out beautiful in the end so I was very pleased with how quick the staff works! I would recommend this venue to anyone!

l indoor & outdoor spaces, it is a non-profit park, and the wonderful event manager Angela. We were lucky with beautiful weather and got married outside at the Sanctuary at Willow Lake, a gorgeous outdoor space with a unique wooden structure and pond. There are backup options for poor wedding, including a large event tent (with sides that can be added) or doing the event in the Garden House itself. We held cocktail hour outside under the tent, then moved into the Garden House for the reception. All the spaces were lovely, and Angela is very attentive to detail. She made sure that everything was just the way we wanted, and she was there to assist we were rehearsing, getting ready, and for the event itself. Angela was also quite helpful during the planning process. She listened to our ideas carefully, then suggested vendors who were in our price range and met our goals (e.g., local musicians, nearby florists). I credit most of the wedding's success to our awesome vendor team, and Angela was instrumental in helping us build this group. The prices were reasonable, and cheaper than other "event venues" in the area. We loved knowing that the money went towards a non-profit park. I highly recommend the Garden House / Look Park for an indoor/outdoor wedding venue

As for the venue- Look Park and the Garden House is absolutely beautiful, straight out of a fairy tale. Our ceremony was at the Pines Theater- it looked like something from the renaissance or Shakespearean era. The perfect location. The Garden House looked beautiful as well for the cocktail hour under a tent surrounded by plants and flowers. The lights inside the venue were great too.
If you aren't sure where to have your wedding but you know you want somewhere beautiful, lush, and laid-back, this is your location!!! All of our guests loved Northampton and loved Look Park.

It was so easy working with Angela and Kayla for our event, they helped everything run smoothly. They collaborated well with all of our vendors. been better. IT was a GORGOUS day at the Pines due to the wonderful maintenance staff and Angela Otis who worked with us from start to finish!! We didn't lift a finger as Angela and the rest of the staff did there part to make sure the tables were set, the flowers were perfect, and the guest knew where they were going. , so planning out of state was a bit tricky. Jill provided us with her list of recommended vendors in any category you could think of, which greatly helped us plan our whole wedding day. Throughout the entire process, Jill was incredibly responsive and organized, and I never once worried about anything going wrong on our wedding day. The grounds of Look Park are GORGEOUS and provided stunning backdrops for our wedding photos. The room felt large with our 140 guests, bar service was phenomenal, and day-of coordination was seamless. We cannot recommend this venue more!

special. The Garden House is a beautiful space, and all our guests were impressed and comfortable. Though our circumstances didn't allow it, it was nice that we had the option to take photos anywhere in the park that day. We had our event on a Thursday in October, so the rental fee was pretty affordable. One of my favorite parts about the venue as a whole is, as a non-profit, all proceeds from the event go back into supporting Look Park. Overall, we are very happy with our choice in venue and would definitely recommend it!

who work well together happen naturally. We were able to bring everything in the night before, which made the day of less stressful. We were able to decide the night before if we wanted to keep the Pine's Theater or move into a tent, in case of rain. Not a lot of places have a good rain backup, but Look Park totally does.
The reception hall is only a short walk away in the Garden House. BEAUTIFUL and really affordable. It was picture perfect, and I definitely recommend Look Park.
On a side note, some random older man came into our private event. We don't know who he was or why he was there, but the Look Park manager Angela handled it SO QUICKLY and really relieved any worries I may have had about him. Great staff, great coordinators.

s the built in rain contingency plan - which we took advantage of! We moved the ceremony the night before from The Pines Theater to the large tent outside the Garden House due to weather but it ended up being the best decision we made, the tent is beautiful and the courtyard surrounding was nicely landscaped. I cannot say enough great things about the staff from the first meeting through the end of the reception - Jil knows this place in and out and was very easy to work with. During the ceremony and reception, Jil and Beth kept us on schedule and were on hand getting the wedding party drinks and making sure everyone was comfortable. Every time I turned around they would be clearing tables or helping guests - it meant a lot to us and felt like they cared about making our wedding a success! A couple things to note: the bridal suite is a little small and does not have a bathroom. We had 15 round tables (with 8-10 ppl each) and a sweetheart table - the room felt full but not crowded and people were still able to move around. The initial floorplan included 19 tables for 175 ppl, I'm not sure how this would be possible without everyone being on top of each other so it was the perfect space for our quantity of guests.

was great because that gave us our rain option. Jillian was great to work with and make sure that our last minute details (such as needing an extra chair for the musicians) was taken care of. The reception was fun and it was nice to have the indoor/outdoor component as the weather was great.
We did our ceremony at the Sanctuary, but decided to turn it around and have the public facing the lake, with the ceremony happening on the boardwalk. The only problem we had was that the benches were placed a bit far from the boardwalk, and not everybody was able to hear the ceremony very well.

pful, professional and courteous. She made sure everything was perfect for our day, always answering my emails and phone calls promptly and meeting with us a month before to make sure all the little details were right. Her day-of coordinator, Terri, was also very professional and was just around the corner whenever I needed her for anything. Both the sanctuary and the garden house looked great and I couldn't be happier.
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that Terri approached me shortly into the night at the reception that the lights weren't dimming (the dimmer was broken). She had called Jilian who offered free champagne for us and anything we might want, which was nice, but it was unfortunate that the lights were so bright the whole night- guests did comment on it.
Other than that, everything was great!

fall, the fireplace lit, the cold air outside, it was warm, inviting, intimate and just wonderful on our wedding day. Jill (the GH manager) was fantastic from day 1, very organized (you can tell she's done this a few times before) and her coordinator was on spot on that day. Everything was perfect. Great space, beautiful, warm and inviting, and not that expensive in the end. Worth every cent. (Plus we had our actual ceremony there too, so guests got to hang, eat, drink and relax in the gorgeous warm atmosphere the entire time - they all loved it). It really was perfect.
