We were extremely fortunate to have Donna Sager at Garden Laurels provide floral arrangements for our July 2022 wedding ceremony and reception; she went above and beyond, and we ho...
nestly couldn’t possibly imagine a better florist for our big day. She did such fantastic work on the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, flower crown and all of the other ceremony and reception arrangements, and she was very collaborative and creative when it came to the centerpieces. The result was absolutely breathtaking, really transforming the venue into a magical scene. Donna has tremendous depth of knowledge regarding all types of flowers and greenery, and knows how to create artful, beautiful arrangements that perfectly complement the venue. She is deeply familiar with some of the more nuanced aspects, such as how to best preserve the vitality of the bouquets and arrangements throughout a hot summer day. She was extremely gracious and accommodating in the months leading up to the wedding, great at communicating her valuable insights and recommendations. Donna went absolutely above and beyond both when it came to listening to our ideas & what mattered to us and in terms of the product she delivered. When we mentioned a specific type of flower that we loved but knew might not quite be in season yet, Donna made a special effort to begin a few plantings early as well as to connect with a local grower who would be more likely to have what we were looking for. When we described some very special and personal connections between a few other types of flowers and their respective maternal grandmothers (neither of whom are still alive but who nonetheless we wanted to commemorate and honor on our special day), Donna suggested ways to incorporate them into the bouquets, arrangements, and cake decorations. Throughout the entire process we felt we were connecting with a friend who truly took our wishes to heart and cared about our happiness with the finished product. Everything was coordinated perfectly in the final days and hours leading up to the wedding. We would definitely recommend her!
My husband and I loved working with Donna at Garden Laurels. We don’t know a lot about flowers and therefore gave Donna substantial discretion, and we were thrilled with the result...
s. Her arrangements were beautiful and took advantage of flowers that were in season for our early June wedding. They were elegant, colorful and festive. She met with us twice in person in advance at the hotel, and each time she asked good questions, listened to our answers and took notes. She also exercised good budgetary judgment, and there were no surprises in her invoice. Go with Donna - you’ll be very happy.

responsive throughout the wedding planning process (and postponement) and on the day of as well. All of the flowers were absolutely stunning on my wedding day, everyone raved about the flowers. I loved my bridal bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets were equally gorgeous. On top of everything, the budget for what we got was extremely reasonable. Thank you Donna, I will definitely be recommending others getting married in the Madison area to you as well!

rsages were absolutely gorgeous - the perfect color scheme and style for what we were going for. Donna thought outside of the box when it came to helping us create center pieces that we could afford and made us the perfect table accents. The flowers were gorgeous and the price was right. She is also very knowledgeable, punctual, and professional. She's clearly a wedding veteran and gave us great tips for other vendors and decor ideas as well. I highly recommend.

She was so easy to work with and the results were flawless. I can't imagine be any happier with a florist.

t to me, so I did not want to spend a huge amount on them. Donna helped me select low-cost, yet BEAUTIFUL flowers for our centerpieces and then I splurged a bit on my and my bridesmaid bouquets. We got tons of compliments on our centerpieces and bouquets from our guests. I am so glad I chose to go with Donna for our wedding flowers--she is so easy and friendly to work with and really makes the process easy for someone who has never done it before. Thank you!!

ony/reception to make our floral dreams come true! We had very different decor for both days and she nailed both looks. I especially loved the flowers she did on the arbor that my dad built for our wedding day. It blew guests away and made it so special to get married underneath of. She also did an incredible aisle of hydrangeas lining the ceremony path to the arbor. The pictures of the flowers made the day look so regal and we just love the way everything came together. We were even able to re-use the flowers for our Sunday brunch and they still looking so beautiful. I would highly recommend Donna for any events without hesitation!

incredibly talented, creative, and professional. She made the planning process so fun for us, and she was very easy to get ahold of. My jaw literally dropped when I saw our reception venue after she set everything up. My husband and I could not be happier that we chose Garden Laurels. A big thank you to Donna (and her extremely innovative son!) for all of their hard work.

kes so she could really understand my vision for the reception, and even asked for photos of my daughter's wedding dress so she could make sure the flowers fit with the vibe of the occasion. As a gardener who really loves flowers, it was fantastic to work with someone who really speaks the language of flowers. She worked with our very tight deadlines, and created absolutely stunning arrangements that were perfect for our event and were far above and beyond what we were expecting. She bent over backwards to be accommodating, even sending us home with a preservative to make sure everything held up well in the heat and humidity. The end result was just astonishing, all of the arrangements, boutonnière and corsages held up amazingly and everyone was talking about them, we got so many compliments on how beautiful the flowers were and how perfectly they fit the vision we had. I can't recommend Donna highly enough, she's an artist who works with flowers and was so helpful and accommodating.

ing pretty arrangements; she knows a lot about botany and the science behind flowers, too.
The arrangements she made for our ceremony and reception were simply stunning. We admittedly don't know much about flowers, so we gave her the colors we were interested in and she did beautifully. We did both high and low centerpieces, plus bouquets for myself and our bridesmaids, a few arrangements for the church and florals for the men, mothers and grandmother. She arrived to our hotel on time with everything she'd promised, and the flowers lasted well into Sunday (we re-used them for our post-wedding brunch). She's such an interesting person, and truly a professional.
The flowers for our wedding were beyond beautiful. I can not count the number of compliments we received.
