If you're a bride on a budget but still dreaming of beautiful real flowers, I highly recommend Garden State Floral Design! We were married at the Days Hotel by Wyndham in Toms River, NJ, and Erika, the florist, who is based in Freehold, personally delivered all of our flowers to my bridal suite on the morning of our wedding. That thoughtful touch made the morning so much easier and gave our photographer and videographer the chance to capture all of the beautiful floral details while we were getting ready.
We had a set floral budget, and Erika was able to create stunning designs without exceeding it. She provided my bridal bouquet, my Matron of Honor's bouquet, boutonnieres, corsages, and gorgeous freestanding floral arrangements for our ceremony. My bouquet, with its dusty blue, soft pink, and coral flowers, was absolutely breathtaking and one of my favorite details from the day.
There was one small misunderstanding toward the end of the planning process about the color palette. Erika initially thought I wanted brighter colors, while I was envisioning softer pastels. After I sent her photos of the DIY wood flower arrangements we had made to help save money, she immediately understood the look I was going for and adjusted the fresh florals, which was amazing since it was also Mother's Day weekend 2026. I'm so glad she did because the final arrangements were absolutely gorgeous and complemented everything perfectly.
One of the best decisions we made was using the freestanding floral pieces. After the ceremony, we repurposed them to frame our sweetheart table, which made it look elegant, romantic, and far more expensive than our budget would suggest. Those are some of my favorite photos from our reception!
The flowers stayed fresh and beautiful throughout the entire day and even afterward. I loved my bouquet so much that I sent it to be professionally preserved, and I can't wait to enjoy it as a keepsake for years to come.
Erika delivered beautiful work, stayed within our budget, and was willing to make adjustments to ensure the flowers matched our vision. I truly appreciated that she cared about getting everything right. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Garden State Floral Design again and would absolutely recommend Erika to any couple looking for gorgeous wedding flowers at a fair price.

We also ordered low centerpieces with a mix of greenery and white flowers, along with tall purple phalaenopsis orchids in white ceramic pots for each table and all of our guests agreed that they looked gorgeous! On the day of our wedding, Erika was there helping to set everything up and even made an above-and-beyond emergency run to grab a few more boutonnieres for our groomsmen. 21. Erika was BEYOND amazing for both of our dates, she is extremely talented. We couldn’t have been any more in love with our flowers. She made the postponement process so easy, during such a stressful time, and we really are so thankful for her. A couple of months before our date, we met with Erika to go over our vision of what we were looking for. She really went above and beyond, the flowers were absolutely beautiful. I specifically remember seeing them for the first time, and standing there in awe of how stunning everything turned out (TWICE!) they were literally breathtaking for both dates. She brought our vision to life even more than we could have ever imagined. don't think she gets enough credit for all her hard work. First, Erika is very professional and responsive. She gave such creative suggestions and advice from her years of experience during my wedding planning. When I had to postpone my wedding due to the pandemic and reschedule my wedding four months later, she was so sweet and compassionate.
She worked so well with me and my vendors. She took my ideas with placement and decor and made them into more than I could fathom. Most importantly, when things ran chaotic, she was there orchestrating everyone like a pro with a smile on her face. I *attempted* to explain what I imagined and somehow she knew what I was thinking and envisioned the design for me. She did a rough sketch and found a picture or two for inspiration to present to my husband and the rest is history. With her deep knowledge of flowers and greenery, she created masterpieces that would last even in the warm July weather. (It ended up being the hottest weekend of the year, 101 degrees + humidity) Many of our guests raved about our centerpieces, whether it was the beautiful flower assortment or simply the concept of the centerpiece - it was more like a gorgeous art installation! I would definitely recommend Garden State Floral Design, as Erika and her team are true Artists who deserve all the credit as they are genuinely skilled in all varieties of arrangements they create. Their creative ideas are limitless, which lends them to keep pushing the envelope between what is possible and impossible - even if gravity comes to play.

I never knew how important flowers would be to me but GSFD brought that to life. I cannot say enough about how absolutely gorgeous my bridal bouquet, my mother and mother in law's bouquets, the corsage for my grandmother, and all the men's boutonnieres looked for our special day. People were raving about unique, stunning, and full everything was. Everything was fresh, delivered promptly, and well cared for and maintained. There was impeccable customer service and I am working on preserving our gorgeous wedding flowers as we speak!! GSFD even suggested taking out some of the succulents and re-rooting them so I can always have them in my home and remember my special day! le with making the many changes that I suggested as my vision continued to change in the months leading up to my wedding. Erika was always so kind (both on the phone and through email) and accommodating, and always responded very promptly, which was greatly appreciated. I was so happy with the way our centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, and garlands for our card box/signs came out. Erika's team weaved strands of lights that I purchased throughout our garlands, using clear hooks on the back that were not noticeable, but helped everything to stay together well. We received many compliments on our set-up! Erika was knowledgeable on our venue (Pleasantdale Chateau) and without additional charge, sent two increments of deliveries (bouquets and boutonnieres early for pictures, centerpieces and candles later- since our venue does not light candles, they were sure to make this delivery shortly before cocktail hour so the candles remained lit all night). I would definitely use Garden State Floral Design for future events, and would recommend them to anyone shopping for their wedding flowers! Thank you, Erika!!

ts and really preferred a natural looking bouquet with a lot of greenery and white, luscious flowers. Not to mention she was so affordable and truly did anything she could to ensure we stayed within our budget, without lacking quality. My flowers looked healthy for 2 weeks after my wedding! She absolutely nailed it and was such a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend and will, withou a doubt, use Erika again for future floral needs!

as floating around and was pretty indecisive. I turned to Erika for a lot of advice and had a lot of email correspondence with her. She was very responsive and always willing to answer my 1000 questions and help me out with all of my changes, additions and ideas. We had also had big ideas and champagne dreams- with a medium sized budget, which she helped with us as well. The flowers were all perfect and beautiful and so much better and more amazing then I could have even imagined. Wedding planning can be so overwhelming and stressful, but working with Erika and Garden State Floral Design was an easy, stressfree, and wonderful experience.

I met with her mon...
ths prior to the wedding and she sat with my mother and I and helped me decide on the flowers that would really stand out on my special day. When the flowers arrived the morning of the wedding, my jaw dropped. I knew that the flowers were going to be made of calla lillies, roses, and blue orchids but when I finally saw them they literally took my breath away.
The blue orchids really looked amazing with my white dress and blue shoes and it made me feel so beautiful to carry them! I had two memorial pendants of my grandmothers made, and Erika wove them into the ribbons of my bouquet to beautifully so I could carry them down the aisle with me.
I plan to dry and preserve these flowers and put them in a shadow box to hang on the wall in my house, so I can keep this special memento forever. Thank you Erika for the hard work you did making these flowers everything I dreamed they would be!
