a vision in my head that I could not find in pictures to share with her. All Samantha had to go on was my fumbling descriptions and items for centerpieces that I had purchased and brought to her. I was very nervous that I wasn't adequately describing the look that I was going for, but Samantha absolutely nailed it! I was blown away on my wedding day when I saw her bring all of my ideas to life! Every single bouquet, boutonniere, ceremony piece, and centerpiece was executed flawlessly with amazing attention to detail. I had given Samantha a ton of geometric terrariums of varying shapes and sizes for the ceremony and centerpieces, and she arranged them perfectly together, with every single one looking unique but cohesive. My mom had given me pieces of her wedding dress as my "something old", and Samantha incorporated that along with a few other sentimental pieces into my bouquet beautifully. I tend to be a very Type A and high strung person, and Samantha's quiet confidence and calming demeanor was a perfect balance in our meetings and emails that let me know we were in good hands. As for price, we were very pleased with the quantity of flowers/greenery and the high quality of work for the amount that we paid. I would absolutely recommend Samantha to any bride!

Her first iteration of my bouquet wasn't exactly what I was going for so I sent her some thoughts and a photo. Well, on my wedding day as I was getting my hair done and she came in with my bouquet, I was floored with how beautiful it came out. The bouquets for my bridesmaids were also perfect. Samantha was also very helpful in figuring out my centerpieces since I wanted to do something a little different with candles and greenery. She even recommended a place to purchase candles ourselves to help us cut costs a bit! We received so many compliments. I would definitely recommend Gardenias!!

We have heard from many family and friends that the flowers were the most beautiful wedding flowers they have ever seen. Samantha is not only talented, but she helped make our desire to donate our wedding flowers possible. While we took half to an assisted living near our home, she took the other half, broke down all the centerpieces into small bouquets and delivered them to a hospital and hospice home; MANY got to enjoy the gorgeous flowers because of her. ich flowers would work best for us. My husband and I don’t like traditional weddings so we absolutely didn’t want the typical wedding flowers. We also don’t know much about flowers so I was not able to tell her which flowers I would like. Instead I told her we wanted it to look more as though we were picking flowers in a field and spontaneously threw a wedding. After writing everything down, she went over and picked some flowers and put an unprompted bouquet together. Even though my husband wasn’t there, I was confident that Samantha would do an amazing job so I went ahead and hired her. My husband came with me for our second visit where we got to preview our centerpiece and we were both ecstatic. It’s like she was in our head and saw exactly what our vision was. The day of the wedding, her team delivered the bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages to the hotel and then delivered the centerpieces to the reception site. Everything looked absolutely beautiful. Samantha knows what she’s doing and can make anyone’s vision come to life.

All our bouquets were delivered to me the morning of the wedding, in time for photos, in the most beautiful vases were our names on each of them. She found jasmine flowers (!) for me to have in my hair, a rare find in our area. And she transformed our wedding venue with the most gorgeous centerpieces. I can't recommend them enough!

Everything was organized and labeled on the wedding day when delivered to the respective locations. The bouquets were delivered in vases to keep them fresh and lasting longer. Samantha helped to fulfill the vision and make the wedding day extra special. Highly recommend to others for gorgeous arrangements and wedding decor.

She showed me pictures and offered flower suggestions (really good ones) based on the colors and the look I wanted - succulents with light greens, mauve, white, purple. My BM dresses were mint so I was kind of particular about the shade of green in the arrangements. She was so patient with my roundabout descriptions and when the flowers arrived at my house the morning of the wedding I was SOO HAPPY!! Everyone was so impressed with them and all of my girls were taking pictures of their bouquets when they arrived. Gardenia's incorporated my "something olds" so beautifully into the bouquets and wrapped all of the bouquets in matching colors of ribbon for the BM dresses and my dress. Weeks after the wedding I still had the dried flowers that I just did not want to throw away. (My wedding was in June 2016 and I still have them - not sure if that is gross but I loved them so much.) Samantha was knowledgeable, responsive to emails, worked with me on pricing, and just all around great to work with. Plus their flower shop is ADORABLE and smells so good! Hands down would go with Gardenia's.

: I knew I liked a lot of texture, and I knew we wanted burgundy dahlias. In that first meeting, she helped walk us through all of our options and to suss out a style and made perfect suggestions for color combinations. She is stoic and clear, totally focused on the consult, but I peeked at her notes while we were talking about the overall style of the wedding and realized that she had written out precisely what flowers she wanted to use in each bouquet, including some that I knew and loved but hadn't even thought to mention. It was clear to me that she already knew just what she would create for us, and I was already excited to see it! From seeing examples of her work online, I honestly expected Gardenias to be out of our price range. I was so surprised and relieved when I saw the estimate and knew we didn't need to meet with anyone else. Samantha is flexible, talented, AND an incredible value. My mom & I had collected mercury glass, candles, table #s, which we dropped off the week before the wedding and I knew we could trust that it would be amazing. My husband wanted copper wire wrapped around his boutonniere, and she wrapped the same copper wire and ribbon around my bouquet - he is still holding onto his bout, he loved it so much! She also, by request, left me an extra piece of wire to attach my grandfather's ring. My bridesmaids loved that their bouquets arrived in vases with our names - it makes you feel special. Our venue coordinator even told us when we arrived that the table arrangements were her favorite decor she'd seen in the space yet. I am still totally enamored with our flowers and the service from Gardenias, and am so glad that we found them!

made our budget very flexible for us. I wasn't sure how my bouquet would look like, but on the day of the sampling it was something I was looking for. It was gorgeous. They delivered our flowers in a timely manner. They even helped us with our aisle decor and our arch even when we were last minute. Everything turned out beautiful and I would highly recommend them.

t first I only planned on doing bouquets and boutonnieres from Gardenias because I didn’t need any floral decor, but I ended up using them for centerpieces as well. One thing I really like about Gardenias is that they’re a small local store in Metuchen, NJ and all of my meetings were with Samantha Monday, one of the owners. I showed Samantha some ideas I found on Pinterest, told her my color scheme and what kind of flowers I did/didn’t like and she and her team created amazing bouquets and centerpieces. Something else I really liked is that I got to have a preview meeting to go in and see a preview of my bouquet so that if I wanted to change anything I could and I got to see what the finished product would look like before the wedding day. My wedding was in August so I was worried about the bouquets and boutonnieres wilting, but they looked amazing for the entire day! I was very happy with my experience and will definitely use Gardenias for any floral needs in the future.

After speaking with 4 other florists who said they weren't able to get peonies for our May wedding, Samantha told us she would be able to get them, and at an extremely reasonable price within my budget!! She also offered a bouquet sample for the bridesmaids bouquet which was such a great idea because I changed my mind after seeing my ideas in person. Samantha is so easy to work with, extremely professional, and does AMAZING work. I highly, highly, highly recommend Gardenias Floral! I wish I could give them 10 stars!

! I'm lucky to know the difference between a dandelion and a rose. I tried describing what The exact visualization was in my head, bysaying something to effect of, "I want biggish flowers with little ones accenting it. Oh, and purple" I don't know how she did it, but she went to the flower refrigerator and pulled out a bunch of flowers, and said "like this?" It's like she knew exactly what the picture was in my head. I knew right then and there, she was our florist!! She took the time to meet with us a couple times prior to our wedding, answered all our questions, and was so accommodating, given my husband's crazy work schedule. The day of the wedding when our flowers were delivered, I was moved to tears. The bouquets were delivered in individual vases with everyone's name on them. They were everything I expected and more. Not one detail was missed, right down to the charms on my bouquet with my grandparents wedding pictures. At the end of the night, everyone was eager to take the centerpieces home. And those that were able to were amazed that a week later the flowers were still just as beautiful as the night of our wedding.

I saw wedding photos of another bride I knew and was instantly attracted to the look and feel of her bouquet and the bouquets of her bridal party which were created by Gardenias Floral. I shared that vision with Samantha during our initial meeting and she made it happen. She is a true professional. My bouquet complimented me perfectly and looks fresh and contemporary in the photos. Gardenias also provided bows and flowers for the church and innovative centerpieces for our cocktail reception. And all of this was provided by gardenias for an affordable and fair price. I cannot recommend Samantha and Gardenias enough!

This did not bode well for my meeting. The owner, Samantha, went thru her checklist with me more as a chore. There was no interest shown whatsoever. She gave me an overall price for things and said she would follow up with the exact pricing for my centerpieces because her vendor was not open. Even though I left the meeting with a pit in my stomach, I still followed up with a thank you email and inquired about the final centerpiece price that Monday. I never received a reply nor follow up call. I double checked to see if I had spelled the email wrong and no. It was correct as shown on their Google+. As a professional interior designer, I understand that you get many inquiries and sometimes not all meetings pan out. However, there is such a thing as courteousness and professionalism. If you do not have time for meetings, don't take them. If you feel a client is not going to give you enough business, you ask about budgeting from the beginning. But acting cold and aloof is plain rude. I've read in other reviews that people are discounted if the owner doesn't take a liking to you. I would take this seriously if you don't have time to waste nor patience for egos.

inspiration photos. There were a few details I changed a couple of times, but she was willing to re-write our contract until it was correct. The bouquets and centerpieces were beautiful. And the flowers for the cake were just like the inspiration photo I gave her (which was good because the cake itself from the bakery wasn't quite what I had wanted). The only thing was I didn't even notice that they had come to drop off the flowers since they were so quiet.. we had to find the boutonnieres when we needed them.

She never told me no to anything I asked of her, and she was always prompt in getting back to me with my ridiculous questions.
