Gareth Patterson Photos

ny questions we have about editing. Gareth was a champ during our ceremony-- there was an unexpected thunderstorm with bad lightning right at the start of my outdoor ceremony and Gareth did a fantastic job of helping coordinate the guests and wedding party to a new location. We ended up having to change a lot of the wedding schedule-- including for how long and where we took pictures with family-- and Gareth made sure we still got wonderful photos. He's definitely a professional and will make sure you get quality photos and a huge selection to choose from. Even though so much of my ceremony changed RIGHT before I walked down the aisle, Gareth made sure I got photos I love and he was absolutely integral at making sure the ceremony proceeded smoothly. With Gareth, you get great support for the couple the day of, beautiful photos, and a calm presence for any unexpected obstacles. Highly recommend!

and would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a photographer. Our pictures turned out amazing!

aken at a wedding. Our daughter's wedding was a very special occasion for us and Gareth understood that. He and Jett didn't make us feel that it was just another wedding for them to photograph. It was a day of memories that was captured through the photographs and a day we will always cherish.

his settings on his camera, and looking through the photos, I am blown away by them all! Thank you Gareth! :)

ound great locations for photos, and helped me keep everything on time. Loved his energy and recommend him wholeheartedly!

appiness of the couple with all our family and friends. We couldn't have been more pleased with his work and would recommend him to anyone ! Thank you Gareth !!!

ng his style of pictures, we completely fell in love with his more natural approach to photography and his ability to capture the beauty in a moment and not so worried or focused on those more "posed" creative photos. With the package that we bought, he was with us the whole journey. He photographed our engagements, my bridal session, and then the big day itself. I had a vision of what I wanted in my pictures of places that meant something to me, and he met me at every place no matter how far it was from his location with a smile (and a coffee) every time! It is hard to put in to words how blown away we were by his work throughout our early journey together. There were so many incredible and special moments that he was able to capture, so perfectly, and so naturally, which is just what I was looking for. I didn't have to instruct him at what to do, and he wasn't afraid to tell me his thoughts on photos and whether or not they would have the look that I was wanting. I have really lost count of all of my family and friends who commented on how amazing he was. He was seen dancing at my wedding and just being a true guest and not just someone I had hired to photograph our wedding. He was able to direct our families together in taking our pictures and did it so effortlessly that everything that day went according to schedule. His passion and enthusiasm to capture every moment was evident in what was produced and every time I look at our photos I just want to cry because it is like I get to relive the moment every time I look at them. I haven't even been able to post them yet for still being emotional almost a year after! We couldn't have wished for anything more and I would recommend Gareth 100 times over. There isn't enough thanks I could give to Gareth!

ly eight weeks to plan it. Not only was Gareth able to fit us in with three weeks notice to photograph our Friday evening ceremony and Saturday night reception the weekend before Christmas, the amount of time and attention he gave to us felt as though we were a couple he'd been working with for six months that were getting married on a non-holiday weekend. Gareth was able to make the entire experience not only enjoyable, but fun as well. At times he took complete control and at others we never even noticed him in the room which led to some incredible candid moments he was able to capture. I would highly recommend Gareth to anyone needing a photographer for not only a wedding but any special moments in life you want captured. My wife and I can't imagine having used anyone else and never will from here forward!

break your wedding- she was right. I can't imagine having a different photographer to capture our special day. Gareth is one of the most fun yet professional individuals I've ever met. The attention to detail and pride he takes in his work were apparent from the get go. From communicating with us thoroughly up to the day of our wedding to being not just punctual but early to making all participants incredibly comfortable to communicating thoroughly post wedding, Gareth encompasses every quality you would want in a photographer. I even found myself joking a few times that Gareth is the best Maid of Honor a girl could ask for! I can confidently say that I will never use another photographer for any important moments that we want to capture. Gareth made us feel that our wedding was just as important to him as it was to us- I'm thrilled to be able to say that Gareth was not only our photographer, but someone we now consider a friend.

all the planning. From the first time I spoke with Gareth, I was completely comfortable that he was very professional and interested in what was important to us. Before the actual day, Gareth kept in contact by sending timely emails and texts; and, showed up early the day of the wedding! Gareth made everyone in the wedding party feel most comfortable. In addition to all the traditional photos, he was very creative in capturing special moments of enjoyment and joy! Gareth genuinely made us feel that my daughter’s wedding was as important to him as it was to us! Once we saw the proofs it was so apparent that he is an artist! All the photographs are beautiful! Gareth makes the process so easy, yet it is so difficult to select the best shots because they all are wonderful! Gareth’s talent has captured memories which is a gift we will forever treasure!

vent and kept us on schedule. The proofs are absolutely beautiful and his eye for details really shows. He’s easy to talk to and work with - he immediately puts you at ease and it shows in the lovely pictures he takes. I am definitely planning on using Gareth again.

as captured beautifully. We will cherish these photos forever and can't thank him enough for his hard work!

thin a week. He was incredibly prompt answering emails, and was available to have a brief conversation on the phone to insure that we were on the same page about the type of photos my fiance and I wanted. On the day of, we had two shoot locations (indoor and out) and Gareth was incredibly fun to work with. He made me super comfortable throughout the entire process despite the fact that I don't love having my picture taken. Our shoot was in the morning and by that evening we had our proofs, despite the fact that we took nearly 500 photos. It took us a day or two to narrow it down to 75 photos, but once we decided, we had our final photos with 24 hours. Great service and a super reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Gareth if you're looking for wedding and/or engagement photos in Arkansas!

just can't say enough nice things.

ry calm way. It was exactly what we needed. The photos are fantastic, I can’t stop looking at them! He worked with our families and the wedding party that was helping coordinate the wedding to capture everything! I don’t know how he can be so many places at once or capture so many special moments. I could honestly go on and on about how easy to work with and talented he is and his photos speak for themselves. This will be one more piece of your wedding that you can stop stressing about and add to the complete checklist because Gareth will make sure it is taken care of!

and captured so many candid moments! He completely ran the show the day of my wedding and everyone is still talking about his warm personality and how great he was, even a month after the wedding. He made my rainy wedding day even more special than I could have imagined. Gareth truly has a gift of making everyone feel at ease and capturing the sweetest moments so you can always remember your special day. He is the BEST choice to make for any engagement sessions or weddings without a doubt! We are forever grateful for his talent and love for photography, and we cannot wait to use him again in the future!

or even the small details! He captured the days events perfectly!

Now for the important matters--his photos were outstanding! He has quite an artistic flair and a wonderful sense of lighting, shadows, etc. He exceeded all of our expectations, starting with the Bridal Portraits two months before the wedding. They were breathtakingly beautiful because of the backdrop and settings that he chose. You will not be disappointed in Gareth.

that because Gareth had excellent communication skills which really put as at ease. On the day of the wedding, he was punctual and prepared with a second shooter. He knew all the best poses for my husband and I, and he made us feel extremely comfortable, which reflected in the natural, breezy feel of our photos. He got our proofs back to us within a few weeks, and our edited photos a week later - so we had our images 3 weeks after our wedding! We were extremely pleased with his quick turn around time. I would definitely recommend Gareth to future brides as he is an excellent communicator, an outstanding photographer, and a great guy!

, but by the end of the evening, I felt as though he was part of the family. Not only was Gareth punctual, but he was extremely professional as well. He was dressed as though he could have been in the wedding himself. We had several rules to follow at the venue, and Gareth worked with those rules very respectfully. Our plans to have several outside pictures failed due to weather, but Gareth was very creative in finding many other areas of the venue to use as backgrounds. His outgoing personality made an impact on everyone that met him. He connected with everyone, and made us feel so comfortable and special. I have worked with several photographers in the past for various occasions, but none compare. Gareth is truly a gifted photographer, and I would highly recommend him for any occasion. We will most definitely use him again in the future!

which resulted in great natural looking photos! Our photo album from Gareth is a tangible treasured memory of our wedding that we will always be grateful for!

ing both engagement and wedding photos, my now husband and I were able to laugh and enjoy the moments together without having to worry about how the photos would turn out! We felt so comfortable with Gareth as our photographer because he provided us with direction in photos while also capturing our candid moments. Gareth captured so many wonderful memories between my husband and I as well as with our family and friends. We have several of our wedding and engagement photos around our home because they bring us so much joy! I would recommend Gareth to anyone for their wedding, engagement, etc. photography.

ectly evident through the quality of his photos that he is a master at both editing and behind-the-camera skills. My favorite part was when we took our couple photos immediately following the ceremony. Gareth was adept in creating the classy, timeless shots we desired as well as making the experience personal and unique to us. I was also so pleased at how well Gareth captured every single part of the big day. I realized later after seeing all of his photos that I had missed some of those beautiful little moments since I was so caught up in the excitement. It is so important to have a photographer you can trust to capture all of those details, and we are definitely pleased in Gareth's skill in doing this. (It should also be noted that Gareth's second shooter was also very talented; I was very pleased with the quality of all photos taken!) Additionally, Gareth is fantastic communicator. Throughout the whole engagement he was available to discuss scheduling, and as the big day drew nearer, he was very accommodating when it came to developing timelines. It is evident through his work that Gareth has a special gift for photographing weddings. In a world where the industry sets an incredibly high standard, he goes above and beyond it. I would absolutely recommend Gareth to anyone!

unique pictures of the wedding, our family, and the reception. I just can't say enough about how wonderful he was to work with. I would highly recommend Gareth Patterson for any photo needs. We will definitely be using him again for family photos, as well as our other two daughter's weddings. Sincerely, Stacey Strickland (mother of the bride)

anyone else to capture everything so perfectly. Even then, Gareth exceeded our expectations! He was so responsive throughout the entire process, and even traveled 6 hours round trip to take our engagement photos and never made it seem like an inconvenience. My now husband is so awkward in photos, but Gareth laughed right along with us and still got in amazing shots! At our wedding, Gareth was very organized and prepared, while still staying relaxed and calm. He was able to direct everyone to where they needed to go and when. I've been to so many weddings where the wedding party and family pictures took forever because things were a mess and the photographer wasn't directive enough- I was so thankful to have a much more positive experience with Gareth. We were able to get the family pictures finished quickly and get to our reception and to the fun much faster! He captured all of our special moments, and I never had to worry about anything being missed. After the wedding, we got several preview photos within a couple days, which was so fun and exciting! And then he got the rest of the photos to us really quickly as well, kept us updated the entire time, and was willing to answer any questions we had. We ended up ordering a beautiful photo album from him too, and will treasure these photos for the rest of our lives!

little bit that our day, and the moments we live for, would be captured as we deserve. Gareth’s photography process is easy and clear. We definitely recommend Gareth Patterson Photos to anyone!

y special and our photos completely unique to us as a couple.

in the moment experiencing every special detail as it unfolds. That is only possible when you have a trusted and talented photographer--someone who comes to know the couple well enough to understand the essence of who they are together and as individuals and is responsive to what is important to them and what they want to be able to revisit through photos from their wedding day. Gareth Patterson did that for our family! The wedding photos will allow us to reminisce as we bring the full presence of our memories from that special day for Lauren and Elika. Thank you, Gareth!

one to fit every budget.

with -- and operated smoothly and efficiently.

preciated his quick responses whilst communicating throughout the planning process. He answered my many questions diligently. His prices are fair, and even during the holiday season our proofs were back to us very quickly which was absolutely amazing!

wait to see all of the photos.

nsure the photos included every magical moment of the day. When Gareth arrived at the venue, his calm and cooperative attitude was balanced by creative suggestions and directions that made taking photos efficient and fun! We are thrilled with the images - treasured memories for a lifetime!

his team made sure to meet ALL of our needs, and even went above and beyond. We were so impressed at how easy and smooth the process was to work with Gareth. He was reliable, punctual, and captured our day better than we ever imagined. So pleased! 5 months later and my background of my phone and computer are still Gareth's photos (and will be for a very long time). :)

ted eye and really awesome camera gear! The result was quick work that felt like ballet allowing more time for so many priceless memories to be captured for all time. My favorite Gareth memory is him bouncy up to me with a giant smile on his face to show me the beautiful photos he had just taken of my daughter and son-in-law!. Who does that? Gareth does!

! I also loved that he showed us previews of our pics immediately after he took them, which was so fun! Thank you Gareth for making Joshua and I's wedding pics so amazing!

s you comfortable and laugh and he's so patient with a bride who's not so great at taking pictures. The turn around time for proofs was faster than I even thought possible. I whole heartedly and enthusiastically recommend him. Thank you for your hard work.

as such a talent for finding the best pose, angle and lighting and did an incredible job of capturing our personalities. After being 45 minutes late to shoot my bridals because of traffic and road closures, Gareth assured me, despite my stress, that we had more than enough time to get them done. He was a blast to work with but more importantly, his top priority to ensure the moments we wanted to remember forever were beautifully captured!

th clients on the wedding day is a huge bonus. After the wedding, I had multiple wedding guests rave about him. He and his wife were willing to do anything to keep stress low and the day going smoothly--from helping groomsmen tie bow ties, to keeping everyone on track with the photo schedule, to joining in the dance party to get the best shots. He was amazing to work with--timely, talented, and we are so happy we chose to work with him for both our wedding and engagement photos.

photos were quick and easy. We hardly noticed him in the events, which was a breath of fresh air. The photos were beautiful and natural - I can't wait to show them to our kids and grandkids someday!

de sure to take the time to answer all of my questions and to give me answers to questions I hadn't even thought to ask. He was so patient with me as I looked through his packages and continued to ask questions. It was SO nice to know he just wanted me to have everything I wanted and could afford in my budget. He helped me walk through forming a timeline and planning out pictures to take within my timeframe. I was SO impressed with his patience and devotion to making the wedding day easy and fun. His wife was a wonderful help and they work so well together! We just received our pictures and they are ABSOLUTELY breathtaking! PLEASE pick Gareth Patterson if you are searching for a photographer. You will NOT be disappointed! Thanks Gareth for all you did for us!! We are so thankful for you and your wife!
