My daughter was married standing on the lodge patio one beautiful October day in 2011. The reception was held in "The Garland Great Room". This was a destination wedding; so cons...
equently all of our guests stayed at Garland in the various log room options. The food was amazing, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and as for the casual elegance of this beautiful venue...even the photos can't do it true justice.
It has been a couple of years since the wedding, and yet I still get compliments from friends and family. I love hearing people share their memories of "Mother Natures" backdrop at the ceremony. It still makes me smile when I am reminded of the quality of the dining options we offered to our guests. Hearing that families loved the many rooming options, the golf courses, in addition to the wedding event itself ... is all the mother of the bride can ask for!
The Garland staff assisted me in every step of the wedding planning process. They made sure our vision became reality. No regrets!!!!

guests raved about the food, the destination and the atmosphere. We had our ceremony outdoors, which was perfect- and the reception was indoors/outdoors in the Great Room. It was beyond perfect and we highly recommend them as a wedding venue and place to get married! We will have many fond memories of having our wedding weekend at garland!!
Beautiful properties!
Guest reservations were made confusing by the staff. Serving staff at reception was sub par. Overall I would rate it ok at best.
