John was a FABULOUS DJ and made our day run exceptionally smooth, kept the dance floor PACKED, and took requests like a true champion. We could not reccomend him enough
DJ John Garland was such an amazing choice for our wedding! From start to finish he was kind, passionate about his work, and fun! We had THREE different setup locations at the venu...
e and he had a setup for each one and moved between them seamlessly. He played every song we wanted with impeccable timing and got the crowd going during the reception with a wide range of music genres. John was flexible and ensured that the final product was exactly as we envisioned it. Our guests agree that we couldn't have made a better choice. Thank you John for an unforgettable night!
John was absolutely wonderful for our day. He was punctual, very communicative, and very accommodating to our requests. We loved him!
John was an excellent partner for our wedding! He gave us a helpful worksheet that gave him an idea of what we wanted, plus also made sure to work in the requests from our guests t...
hat we provided ahead of time (we did not want any surprises the day of), including making sure they were played at the appropriate time (cocktail hour vs. dinner vs. dancing). We gave him a tongue-in-cheek guidance to not play anything newer than 2016, and he went the extra mile to played the perfect songs that resonated with both us and our guests. He somehow got to know our tastes extremely well with limited info! I was also impressed day of with some of the audibles we had to call on timing, announcements, passing around microphones, etc. He handled everything perfectly without us even needing to get involved! Would highly recommend for excellent service and peace of mind leading up to and during the wedding day.
He was so awesome! I gave him a list of songs I wanted played at the reception and he put them in a playlist that fit so well. I've gotten so many compliments on the music at our w...

We are still recovering from all the fun we had at our wedding!! John was a great DJ and awesome MC. He was spot on with all of our announcements/speeches/toasts throughout the nig...
ht. We provided John with a list of song requests for both the cocktail hour and reception. He played every single thing we wanted and helped to fill in the gaps as well while very clearly paying close attention to what kind of music we like based on our prior song requests. He totally nailed it. Our dance floor stayed packed all night and we can’t recommend John enough! Thank you John!

part of our wedding day. He did a lovely job with our ceremony music and introductions. He kept the party going on the dance floor all night! All of our guests loved him! I highly recommend working with him.
John is amazing. He knows how to emcee well, he is extremely professional, and he plays great music. We were so thrilled! Thank you, John!
John did a great job entertaining a well rounded group of people at our wedding. He was well in-tuned with the mood and kept the music up to speed with the crowd. Everyone had a gr...
eat time and enjoyed themselves. He also was very flexible ad helpful with it came to announcements and introductions.
John was extremely great to work with and very open to any ideas we had! The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because I had a few moments where I think things could have played o...
ut better. For instance, there was maybe a couple of people on the dance floor for a song, and then he would put on something that would bring a huge crowd up, but then the immediate next song would be something so different that everyone went back to their tables and none of those people stayed on the floor to dance. It wouldn't be so bad, except that it happened more than once. The DJ role is really important at a wedding and if you get a crowd you have to be able to keep the crowd. Otherwise, like I said above, he was really sweet and incredibly responsive to our emails.
John Garland is a fantastic choice for a DJ, especially for a wedding reception, which is what I hired him for. I picked him for my reception on the strength of my venue’s recommen...
dation and felt lucky he was available. I loved the fact that he still uses CDs since my family had a few songs (off of CDs) for the party. Mr. Garland cherry picked from our suggestions to add into the stuff he had prepared and set the perfect mood all night long (classical over dinner, 80’s/90’s dance on the open dance floor). I was impressed with his upbeat style, versatility, and affable personality. He was easy to work with, too. I appreciated his prompt responses, thorough nature, attention to detail, willingness to accommodate, and professionalism. The final result: my guests LOVED him. The dance floor was packed all night. Guests booed when he announced the shuttles would be leaving at the end of the night. A few guests even asked for his business card. What can I say? He was perfect.
