He played every song we wanted with impeccable timing and got the crowd going during the reception with a wide range of music genres. John was flexible and ensured that the final product was exactly as we envisioned it. Our guests agree that we couldn't have made a better choice. Thank you John for an unforgettable night!

hat we provided ahead of time (we did not want any surprises the day of), including making sure they were played at the appropriate time (cocktail hour vs. dinner vs. dancing). We gave him a tongue-in-cheek guidance to not play anything newer than 2016, and he went the extra mile to played the perfect songs that resonated with both us and our guests. He somehow got to know our tastes extremely well with limited info! I was also impressed day of with some of the audibles we had to call on timing, announcements, passing around microphones, etc. He handled everything perfectly without us even needing to get involved! Would highly recommend for excellent service and peace of mind leading up to and during the wedding day.

He played every single thing we wanted and helped to fill in the gaps as well while very clearly paying close attention to what kind of music we like based on our prior song requests. For instance, there was maybe a couple of people on the dance floor for a song, and then he would put on something that would bring a huge crowd up, but then the immediate next song would be something so different that everyone went back to their tables and none of those people stayed on the floor to dance. It wouldn't be so bad, except that it happened more than once. The DJ role is really important at a wedding and if you get a crowd you have to be able to keep the crowd. Otherwise, like I said above, he was really sweet and incredibly responsive to our emails.

dation and felt lucky he was available. I loved the fact that he still uses CDs since my family had a few songs (off of CDs) for the party. Mr. Garland cherry picked from our suggestions to add into the stuff he had prepared and set the perfect mood all night long (classical over dinner, 80’s/90’s dance on the open dance floor). I was impressed with his upbeat style, versatility, and affable personality. He was easy to work with, too. I appreciated his prompt responses, thorough nature, attention to detail, willingness to accommodate, and professionalism. The final result: my guests LOVED him. The dance floor was packed all night. Guests booed when he announced the shuttles would be leaving at the end of the night. A few guests even asked for his business card. What can I say? He was perfect.
