Garnet Dahlia Photography

talented and always seems to find the perfect lighting. Our engagement shoot was the first time my husband and I were ever professionally photographed together. She also made us feel so relaxed. Her direction felt very natural. We received our sneak peek the night of our wedding and we can’t wait to see the full gallery. I would recommend Vicki to anyone that is looking for a photographer. We are already planning to book her again for our anniversary shoot!!!

see her work her magic for the day that we spent so much time and love planning. The day of the wedding, Vickie was much more than a photographer. She was there to help us through hiccups, helping us tie ties, and just being so helpful overall. Later in our wedding night, we already had some photos to swoon over and when we got our wedding photos back we were just floored. It was like reliving our wedding day all over again. We cannot wait to blow these bad boys up all over our house. Vickie, we cannot thank you enough for simply being you. If you’re ever ever questioning if Vickie is the photographer for you, just stop thinking, and book her.

ak peeks the next day which is perfect when you're itching to see some!

gagement and wedding pictures and I'm obsessed with both photo galleries. Vicki made the whole process so easy and comfortable and had great communication throughout the entire planning process. When it came to the wedding day it felt like her and the second photographer Heidi went the extra mile to capture everything that was important to us - down to all our eccentric decor which included a customized furby and a Nic Cage cardboard cutout! She didn't even blink when our ceremony ended with our officiant strapping on some dinosaur claws and jazz-handing behind our first kiss - she just perfectly caught the moment. The whole day it felt like we could be ourselves and that shines through in all our photos! Not to mention the photos themselves are just gorgeous, they're all of such high quality and the colors she achieves are just to die for! Our walls will soon be covered in wedding pictures! I would 1000% recommend her to anyone, she was worth every penny.

r. I was always amazed by her work but somehow she just blew me away even more when she sent us our own wedding gallery. On a day where time seems to go by in the blink of an eye, seeing our photos brought all of the days moments back to memory, where we can now cherish them forever. I feel all of the excitement that I had that day, again, when looking through our photos, and that is so special to me. OH, and I didn’t mention she traveled with us all the way to Las Vegas, NV! She made the Little White Chapel look classy & elegant through her photos, and the pictures she took of us at Red Rocks Canyon are absolutely dreamy. Vicki’s website and planning processes are so professional and she fit right in with our friends and family during our day. I couldn’t say enough wonderful things about her. I am so grateful she was my wedding photographer and you will be too if you choose her!

d took stunning photos. I can't wait to see other pictures they have taken for the event! She is very quick to respond and answered any questions I had.

n a magazine. My husband and I feel so fortunate to have had Vicki capture our special day. We will cherish her work for the rest of our lives.

her. I didn’t care the distance or cost - her photos were that stunning and that different - I absolutely needed her. We had a virtual meet and greet and we just clicked from the start. She got my vibe. And I’d like to think we fit her vibe! Little fact not many people know, we picked our wedding based on Vicki’s availability! We quickly booked her and scheduled our engagement shoot. She traveled all the way from Lebanon PA to asbury park NJ for this shoot! We had such a fun time with Vicki, she made us comfortable and let us act like ourselves. The photos we got back were gorgeous yet moody - just what I was looking for. She nailed. Fast forward to the wedding, her and her assistant were phenomenal. I trusted vicki so much based on what I’ve seen her do, that I gave her absolutely no direction. She took the wheel and did her thing. She even went out of her way and captured moments of our children that were just so incredible. Literally the cutest thing you will ever see. Everything she did, everything she took were beyond my expectations. The look and feel of my photos is so unique, no other photographer can successfully do what she does. I wish Vicki lived closer so we can use her for all our little milestones! We may have to her for something in the future! Vicki was everything and gave us something unique to look at to always remember our day. Photos are your memories, theyre something you will have forever. You want a master of their craft to be there on your big day. Vicki was that. Snatch her up quick. You won’t regret it! Thank you vicki!

at wasn't the case at all! Vicki was such a pleasure to work with and made it easy and fun to have our photo taken, especially with her more candid style rather than formal/posed. We highly recommend her!

me through and absolutely crushed it. I could not possibly recommend her more.

ly fell in love with her photos but kept an open mind while searching other photographers in the area and I couldn't find anyone who could compare! On top of her beautiful and ethereal photography style, Vicki herself was so kind, helpful and really knew how to make us feel so comfy with doing our shoots. We never did anything with a photographer before and she made us feel like pros and it shows through her work! If you are still shopping around and weighing your options - just know that Garnet Dhalia is your right choice.

ry and so beautifully capture the memories associated with each moment in time. She somehow maintains her ‘style’ while uniquely capturing each couple she shoots as well, and is always prompt with returning photos (she actually gave us our full gallery from our elopement within a week of the ceremony). She photographed our elopement ceremony in April with our immediate family only, as well as our engagement shoot last October and our large wedding reception this October - we’re hopeful that we will be able to fill our home with her work not only from our engagement and wedding, but also from other important life moments in the future. Would truly recommend her to anyone!!

oughout the whole process raves about her whenever she’d pop up on his instagram feed! The day of, I was so nervous, and she helped keep me composed. We received a large sneak peek gallery, which far exceeded our expectations. I still ugly cry looking at them haha! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being apart of the biggest day of our lives, but also capturing all the love that went into it. I highly recommend Vicki, and I hope I have the opportunity to work with her again in the future! Nothing but love for you Vicki! ♥️

to the wedding was almost immediate, every single time. Our wedding day went fast, very fast, and Vicky and her second shooter (Ryan) did not miss a single beat. They arrived early, they stayed late. They got every little detail that my wife lost sleep crafting, and captured endless candids we never got to see. She hyped us up constantly, made a freaking preview-post that very night, and delivered an overwhelming amount photos THE. NEXT. DAY. That was obviously not expected, and probably not normal, but to get to download and share so many breathtaking photos before we even boarded our honeymoon flight, was a moment we will never forget. Her style is so unique, and her work is some of the best I’ve ever seen. We feel SO lucky that we get say that about OUR wedding photos! We truly cannot recommend Vicki enough.

ils, the little moments between guests and us as a couple, the beauty of the church and mass, the energy and fun of the reception, and the most precious family and couple portraits. We felt so comfortable with her which made it easy to trust her creative vision and we have the most beautiful photos of our entire day. Even in the 90+ degree heat she helped us capture priceless moments that will live on through photographs for a lifetime. She communicates quickly and effectively and delivers previews and galleries quickly. We highly recommend Vicki for your big day, you will be glad you did!!

new venue that was literally in the same plaza as a Hobby Lobby. Vicki managed to get the most beautiful shots anyways and unless you were there, you would have no idea there was an entire parking lot behind us. Vicki was wonderful to work with every step of the way. Our photos turned out amazing and will be something our family treasures always.

review we were blown away at how amazing they came out!! She’s truly an artist and so talented. Thank you so so much, we will keep you in our thoughts for any upcoming events!

er imagined. I am obsessed with my photos. She makes you feel comfortable and confident. She pays attention to detail, is patient with everyone, and checks in to make sure you get everything you want. Vicki captured moments that I wouldn’t have thought were important until I looked at my photos. She is worth every penny and more.

apture our love. We didn't know what to expect going into our engagement session - but Vicki guided us along throughout the shoot and made us feel at home. After that, I knew she was the photographer for us and our big day! Leading up to our wedding she created photo timelines and set time aside to talk with us about our "must have" pictures and any other concerns we had. She also came out to our venue to do a walkthrough AND came to our rehearsal to scope out the area where we were getting ready and eventually where we would have our wedding day pictures. She went above and BEYOND on our wedding day (NYE, 12/31/21). She stayed with us from 12noon until 1AM!!!! The entire time she was with us she paid close attention to every single detail, was super laid back and did anything to get the perfect shot (including getting sprayed in champagne just so we could have a great photo). After the wedding, she sent me a few "sneak peaks" at 4AM (WOW!!!) and then another "sneak peak" gallery at 1PM the following day. The gallery from the next day literally had 50+ pictures. I was in tears looking at them. You could feel the emotion, happiness, love & excitement seeping from the photos. We are going to need a bigger house because I am filling up every single wall with these pictures!!!! We cannot thank Vicki enough. She is incredibly talented and we can't wait to have her capture the rest of our life milestones.

os, and made us feel so comfortable! My husband and I had never taken professional photos before and were so awkward going into our engagement shoot, but Vicki made us feel comfortable and just let us have fun and be weird together! She was so committed to us that she continued shooting pictures while a random dog was jumping all over her! We got the engagement photos returned, and my jaw dropped. She made us look like models. Feeling excited for our wedding photos is a massive understatement. I knew going into the end of the year Vicki would be swamped and it would take a while to receive our photos - I was wrong. She literally had sneak peek photos to us the NEXT MORNING. And when I say sneak peek, I mean like 50+ photos. It was way more than a sneak peek. She stayed in touch during the whole process, made everything so easy for me and my husband, and the end results; breathtaking. It was such a pleasure working with Vicki, and honestly, I'm sad it's all over!

al day of our lives, and I know for sure these photos are going to be ones that we look at year after year. Literally crying while writing this because they captured the smallest of moments that I will cherish forever.

nd I have the same taste for dark, dramatic and moody situations and events. I knew that there was no better photographer to capture me, my husband, my day and my aesthetic as soon as I found her instagram. She captured my wedding day with ease and perfection. Every picture is beautiful, shows our love for each other and tells our story. She changed everything for me and now she's stuck with us for life. I can't wait for her to capture more of our moments, our love and our memories. Book her - it'll be the best thing you do.

o beautiful, we based our entire wedding off of her style. Vicki is committed to getting the shot! For our engagement photos, she drove out to meet us in Lewes Delaware and by the end of the shoot we had the most amazing shots and Vicki had soaked sneakers! Her kindness is not unnoticed and willing to go the extra mile to make sure the photos are a reflection of you and your relationship. On the wedding day, we knew that it was an added benefit to have a photographer familiar with the venue, other vendors and a resume that’s jaw dropping. But what we were unprepared for was the joy it was to be around her on the big day. She was as much a part of creating memories at our wedding as she was in capturing them.

so unique which is what I love about her. You can feel the emotion in her photographs. Not only is she an amazing photographer but she is probably the nicest human on the planet. Working with her was such a breeze, from booking her, to filling out her forms and making payments it was effortless. I will hire her for everything and you should too!! I wish I could post my whole album on here.

us and then went above and beyond on the day. She arrived early and stayed late and captured all these beautiful little moments I hadn't even thought of photographing and I'm so grateful we have those pictures forever now. All the photos turned out so beautifully and I couldn't be happier with the result. I definitely can't sing her praises enough, highly, highly recommend!

apher over the summer. We ran across Garnet Dahlia on Instagram and immediately reached out for a quote. She was by far the most fairly priced in the area and the quality of her photos stood out among the rest. We quickly decided on her for our wedding and then she offered to include an engagement session. Like who is that nice?! We got engagement photos in September 2020 and knew we made the right choice. She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed during the session. Sometimes photographers can be so high energy trying to get you to be comfortable that it actually does the opposite, however, she was so calm and natural that it made us feel that way too. That evening she was able to give us access to so many preview photos and then delivered all the shots just a week or two later. Then a few months later she reached out to us asking if we wanted to do a styled shoot with other vendors, which we of course said yes! So we had a whole other session with her before our wedding, which was so fun. Then our wedding day came around in March 2021 and she blew us away again. It was a small house wedding with not a lot of space to work with. We also had a mirror hanging up at the alter that was covering a tv mount (living room wedding problems) and she was still able to adapt to that challenge. She captured all these tiny details from that day that we will cherish forever. Also, it needs to be said that she gave us a 1,500 photo gallery in UNDER two weeks. Try to find that somewhere else, go ahead, I dare you. Thank you x100000 Vickie, can't wait to use her services for other life milestones!

ally made a hard decision so much easier. She took our engagement photos and we were just blown away. The actual shoot was amazing- she made us feel so comfortable and made it so much fun- she captured us perfectly. She also got our photos back to us SO quickly. Her photos are unique and beautiful, and her style really sets her apart from other photographers. I really can't recommend her enough!

to us with in hours of us inquiring. Our first set of pictures were our engagement pictures. Everyone when getting I’m sure might feel uncomfortable but Vikki did not make us feel that’s way at all! We had so much and felt like we were hanging out with one of our friends. We got our gallery back within a couple of weeks. Next was our wedding photos. On the day of Vikki was on time and came prepared! When we got our wedding gallery back we were so impressed by how wonderful the gallery and how she made us look and feel so beautiful. She really captured every moment and shows how much fun us and our guest really had. Hiring Vikki is on of the best decisions we made when it came to our wedding and we are so grateful for her.

n love. I knew I had to have her as my wedding photographer- we even changed our date just to fit her schedule, that’s how much we knew we needed her lol. When it came time for engagement pictures, Vicki made the entire process so easy and fun! She helped us pick a location that fit our vibe and guided us through tons of different poses for pictures. I was so nervous the pictures would not turn out great because it was like 100% humidity, my hair was frizzing big time, and my fiancé sprayed champagne all on my outfit and in my hair. But leave it to Vicki, the pictures turned out more amazing than we could have ever wished for! Still on the verge of tears every time I view our gallery - which is at least once a week lol. If you’re looking for a photographer for a wedding or engagement, Vicki is your girl! You will not regret it one bit!!

ery client and her amazing attention to detail. Vicki’s ability to capture the perfect moody, romantic and emotional photographs is incredible. She took our engagement photos last summer and 5 months later, I’m still looking at them ALL the time. Vicki also took beautiful photos of my fiancé’s family on their property/farm and they are also just as incredible. We are so happy to have her photograph our wedding in May and can’t wait to relive our wedding each day because of her ability to capture such raw and passionate moments. She’s the best of the best! BOOK HER NOW! You won’t regret it!

of her work and knew I NEEDED to get pictures taken by her. Her moody, romantic vibe that comes through her photos is what drew me in. Vicki is truly the best of the best & there was no doubt in my mind that she would be the one photographing my wedding before I even knew there was going to be a wedding! Vicki is so comfortable to work with, very easy going & just makes it a fun and exciting experience. She also knows of the coolest spots for sessions. If you are looking for a photographer, you WANT Vicki!!! I am so excited that she will be photographing my wedding in October!

sy. Lucky for us, our wedding was right in the midst of COVID-19 (what a disaster), but Vicki was a complete GEM! She was so thoughtful, responsive, and accommodating during the entire process which made planning, and re-planning, and re-planning again a breeze. Since we postponed our wedding to 2021, we decided to have a small ceremony to get legally married in my in-law’s backyard. She captured the day beautifully and I could not be more in love with the photos. She posted a preview for us that night and had the entire gallery ready within days. A M A Z I N G work!!!! Thank you so much for everything Vicki!

o rest. There is no one better to capture your love story. Vicki has an eye for natural moments and taking breath taking photos full of emotion. She makes you feel so comfortable and doesn’t bat and eye at any request big or small. Looking at the sneak peaks from our wedding I can feel the laughter and love, I can hear our song playing in the background and taste the piece of wedding cake. The biggest day of your life may only last hours but Vicki is able to Capture the moments so you can share them for a lifetime. So honored to have had the privilege of working with her. Can’t wait to see the rest of the photos!

postponing this heart could handle. We were lucky enough to get Vicki a few weeks before the ceremony and she was so helpful, flexible, and very communicative (made me wonder if this girl sleeps..??). The vendors I ended up hiring were all recommendations from her, and everyone was FANTASTIC. She had an engagement shoot afterwards, but somehow she gave us sneak peeks THE NIGHT OF... And the pics were beyyyyond.. and I can't wait to see the full album!!! In conclusion, I would 1000000% recommend her, and if you want pictures that look better than your wildest dreams..... you should most definitely nab her.. like now.

dding photos as she absolutely killed our engagement pictures. I can’t tell you how hard it was to decide what picture we liked the best (since we loved them all). Our families were also impressed with the photos. We received a few of our wedding photos back awhile and they were all beautiful and we cannot wait to see the rest! These pictures are ones you are going to look at for many years to come so it is important to pick the right person for them. I would recommend Vicki to absolutely anybody. I promise you will not regret it!!! 💕

y I knew I wanted her as our photographer! She worked so well with us and I LOVE her style! She also was super awesome to work with during our reschedule due to the pandemic. 10/10 would 100% recommend!

styled shoot she did. I’m all about a moody vibe so I had to see if I could book her. Lucky for us she was available for our big day! She really won me over at our engagement session. We asked about location suggestions and she was ready with several options. We ended up going to two locations and she timed it just right to get some photos during the most beautiful sunset. Now my husband is not a photo person, but even he had fun and felt comfortable in front of the camera. That’s the result of a truly talented photographer! Our wedding photos were just as perfect. Vicki was ready for all the hectic and goofy ideas we had that day without hesitation. We also opted for the photo booth which was a big hit! We honestly are so thankful for the wonderful memories Vicki captured for us and would highly recommend her for your big day!

is always on time, always gets your pictures back pretty quick, AND always an absolute pleasure to be around!

n through all the chaos, she and her team were able to capture all the perfect moments throughout our wedding day. i'm totally in LOVE with all our photos! <3 Words can't relay how fantastic her work is. If she is available, I would tell you BOOK HER!

we had she trusted to do the job well. Let me just say they did an amazing job, they were so friendly and very professional. Vicki did everything I wanted as far as editing and making sure I got all the shots I wanted. She comes HIGHLY recommended from me and I will definitely be a return customer! Thanks Vicki!

work with and made the whole experience stress free. Would definitely use her again!

ement session to the wedding photographs they are all phenomenal. Vicki even helped my husband and his groomsmen pin their boutonnieres lol! She made everyone feel completely comfortable . I will recommend her to everyone I know!

ible to work with. She made my wedding day so special and way less hectic. She was also able to work with me with moving my wedding date up by 4 months. I’m so in love with all my wedding photos and can’t wait to have her photograph all my future life events ❤️

ck by how lucky I felt that I had these images and would have such beautiful and intimate pictures for the rest of my life. Vicki gave me 250 photos from our engagement shoot and I tried narrowing down my favorites and ended up with 140 I wanted hard copies of. The photos are so aesthetically beautiful but I also felt like really captured my fiancé and me. I had been following Vicki on Instagram for a long time, and seeing an endless stream of beautiful photos really put me at ease. During the shoot, we were sweating, I thought my makeup was running, we got really wet at one point (intentionally) and I didn’t know how my hair looked, all of things that would have taken me out of the moment usually, wondering if looked OK. But then I remembered how great everyone looks in Vicki’s photos and I put it all out of my head and was able to relax. And I was right, all of the photos were still beautiful. Putting my trust in her was the best thing I could have done. Vicki was also exceedingly easy to work with and the shoot was a lot more fun than me or my fiancé were expecting. I expected a lot prompts and guidance on how to pose for the photos, which in hindsight actually would have been more distracting. Vicki gave us just the right amount of prompts without it feeling overly styled or forced and so we felt comfortable that there was really no right or wrong way. Even my fiancé, like most I’m sure, wasn’t sure what to expect and he was surprisingly comfortable and I think that had a lot to do with Vicki’s demeanor. All of friends and family were blown away by the pictures and I’m considering gifting an engagement shoot with Vicki now to friends and family. I think it’s safe to say I would 100% recommend Vicki and I hope I can use her again for something else in the future.

n! All of our pictures turned out great! The gallery she gives is easy to use and definitely user friendly. Vicki is great at what she does and I would definitely recommend her to future brides, we couldn't be happier.
