TL;DR - Overall it was a fantastic experience. Becca and Mike were the perfect mix of professional and fun, relaxed but focused. Day felt very fluid and it wasn't exhausting because it wasn't arrange and smile, arrange and smile; there was real laughter and fun. Sneak peeks came quick! And the full album was both enormous and gorgeous. Very LGBTQ+ friendly; ours was a polyamorous wedding. Cannot recommend them enough. Working with Becca and Mike was a fantastic experience, everything we wanted and more. Becca and Mike were both very easy to work with; they quickly felt more like friends than strictly photographers and it made photos so much more fun. Becca has a way of coaxing real laughter and smiles out of people by playing them off each other, like "tell him something that will make him blush," and the genuine reactions she captures in those moments are priceless. No fake smiles with her. They worked really well with the space given for each part of the day, finding great spots for photos outside, finding spots to be during the ceremony without blocking any views, blending into the crowd at the reception--I don't even remember seeing them at the reception. And the angles for all the photos came out great. The day went so smoothly; schedule was followed, we never ran over time. They arrived right on time and ready to work, slipped right into the day. We actually finished family photos in half the time we allotted and ended up attending our own cocktail hour. The whole thing felt fluid; it wasn't exhausting because you didn't feel like you'd been posing for hours. They kept everything moving from group to group; they followed the notes I gave them and captured all the groups we asked for. Overall, this is the best experience I've ever had with wedding photography, and I'm so glad it was our wedding! The final photographs are shockingly gorgeous and the gallery is enormous. We could not have asked for anything more. Quite literally, my only regret is not hiring them for an extra two hours to capture the end of the night. I highly recommend Garone Photography. Photography is part of the wedding experience, and Becca made it fun, fluid, and delivered beautiful photographs. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

We could not have been more thrilled to work with Becca and Mike on our big day. They were incredibly accommodating over the phone in answering our questions and providing advice for the day-of logistics. They also worked with us to customize our package within our budget. Even though we didn't have an engagement session with them prior to our wedding day, they were so easy to click with on the day of. They were incredible working with our large families and were able to direct everyone without us having to think at all. We didn't realize how much time we would spend with the photographers, but it turned our to be one of the highlights of our day. Our pictures turned out beautiful and have been a wonderful memorabilia to look back on!

I can’t recommend Becca and Mike enough! Leading up to the big day, they were communicative and asked great questions to ensure the day-of went smoothly. They showed up early to scope out the location (it was a private residence) and were so fun to be around! They made everyone comfortable during family photos/portraits and captured each precious candid moment. I can’t imagine having selected anyone else!

Rebecca and her husband did such an amazing job with our engagement AND wedding photos! They were wonderful to work with and new exactly how to bring our wedding to life on film. True professionals through and through. I am happy to recommend them and give them 5 stars!

Becca and Mike were THE BEST to work with on our wedding day. My husband and I are awkward people by nature, and the Garone's made us feel so natural in front of the camera. We did an engagement photo session with them to get more comfortable working with their style, and though the photos are amazing and so much fun to take, we didn't take long at all to warm up to them!! Becca and Mike chat with you the entire time so you feel comfortable with your picture being taken. They really want the pictures to look like you, not like the posed version of yourself. From the time Becca and Mike arrived on our wedding day, we were laughing. They would do anything to get a great shot, and even found a beautiful shady spot to do a majority of our wedding party pictures (we had a cloudless 90+ degree day without a breeze). They encourage you to talk and interact with one another so that you get the best photos that truly capture how you are feeling. They worked with our requests and did so much innovative work on their own, we couldn't wait to see all the pictures. One of the best things that we found when we got all of our wedding pictures back was that they went around and got photos of almost all (if not all) of our guests which was amazing to look at!! Don't even hesitate to book the Garones. We will be booking with them for all our future events that we want captured. To Becca and Mike - thank you so so so much, from the bottom of both of our hearts for giving us these amazing images to remember our day by.

Wow, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rebecca and Mike. First of all, our wedding pictures came out AMAZING. They really captured how happy and in love we were on our wedding day! We had spent some time looking at some of the events they had photographed at our venue, and had a pretty good idea of what we were looking for. However, our pictures ended up surpassing our wildest expectations! We also planned our wedding from out of state, and did not actually meet Rebecca and Mike until the day of our wedding. However, I had spoken to Rebecca several times on the phone leading up to our event, and I had absolute faith that she was the right one for us. When we did meet Rebecca and Mike, they were warm and hysterical and turned my typically camera shy husband into a total ham in front of the camera. Rebecca also really helped quell my nerves as we were getting ready for the ceremony and stuck to our timeline like a champ. We were extremely lucky with all of our vendors, but we are beyond grateful we chose Garone Photography to capture our special day!

Mike and Rebecca Garone photographed my wedding in July of 2017. The quality of the photos is unbelievable and they capture every laugh and dance move at exactly the right moment. Even better is that they are experts at the entire wedding day, really. Mike even bustled my dress! They have a calming presence and are very professional every step of the way. My guests are all asking me for their contact info because my pictures came out incredible.

When I saw a friend's wedding photos a couple years ago, I told myself when I got married that would be my photographer. I stuck to my guns and hired Garone Photography for my wedding. From the very beginning, Garone Photography was there every step of the way in the wedding planning process, giving best tips and practices and sending helpful reminders of things that we often forget, especially when wedding planning and having so much going on. Becca and Mike make the most amazing team and are so easy to work with. They capture the most beautiful moments... the unexpected, genuine moments that are so much more than just the people in the photos. Every time I look at our photos (which I cannot stop doing) I am in awe of how beautiful they are! They are more than I even hoped for and I love reliving the best day of our lives through our photos everyday.

I'm reviewing from a vendor standpoint- but after working in the wedding industry for nearly 12 years, we have had our experience with different photographers. I can say, without a doubt or any hesitation at all, that Becca and Mike are truly the ENTIRE package. They are super fun to work with, they care about every one of their couples more than anyone I have seen, they are organized, and perhaps the most talented photographers I have ever worked with. They hold an honorary PhD in communication and planning from Awesomeness University- well maybe not officially, but they should be recognized for how accessible they are for their clients and the vendors they work with. The best part of hiring Garone? Every single other vendor (venue, DJ, videographers, you name it) raves about working with them. They set the bar high- but in all honesty, wedding photographers are an investment in your lives from day 1 of your marriage. These are what you have for eternity. And the bar should be set high. So do yourselves a favor and invest in the best. You won't be disappointed!!

Where do I even begin? Not only does Garone take AMAZING pictures, they are GREAT to work with. Rebecca and Mike are so easy going and join right in on the run and laughter of the day. It is so nice to work with a team that not only takes great pictures, but are easy to work with. They have personality along with artistic vision. They were able to capture my dream wedding picture- night shot with the snow falling. Spectacular! You won't regret booking them- worth every penny and then some.

Becca and Mike shot our wedding on Aug. 23, 2015 and they were PHENOMENAL! Months later, my husband and I still keep talking about how of all the vendors we hired, they were the absolute best. When we met Becca over Skype last year (we planned our Maine wedding from New York), we liked her immediately. I had seen their work when our venue posted some of their photos on Facebook, and I was drawn to their almost journalistic style of photography. Those first photos I saw were taken on a very rainy day, and I thought if these are this stunning, imagine what they pull off on a beautiful day! If you're looking to really capture the moments of your wedding day (rather than just a lot of portraits, but of course they'll do those too), hire the Garones! Becca was so easy to work with during the planning process. For example, she was happy to send me links to three full weddings they'd shot, before we even hired them. She was pretty easy to get in touch with by both email and phone, and during one of our phone meetings about a month before the wedding day, she spent over an hour of her time with us just chit-chatting. It was obvious she made an effort to get to know us. On the wedding day, they could not have been a better team! They are truly great together. It felt like they were running the day almost as much as our planner, since we were with them for so much of it, and they made everything go so smoothly. They were so sweet and fun, and such a calming influence during some of the intense/emotional parts of the day. Becca even bustled my dress :) My husband and I were blown away by the fact that she texted us about 10 photos the morning after the wedding. What an amazing surprise! And we didn't have to wait long at all to see our online gallery and receive our flash drive with photos in the mail. On top of it all, our photos are so amazing I can hardly believe they're of us :) These two are truly the best in the business!

Absolutely Amazing!! I can't not say enough wonderful things about Rebecca and Mike to encompass how wonderful they were! They were helpful from the very beginning of the planning process all the way through the wedding day. They helped us set up timing and a schedule for the wedding day and help us come up with a Rain Plan when we realized it might hurricane the day of the wedding! They never seemed annoyed at the crazy amount of email I sent filled with questions about timing, dates, weather, and pricing and replied immediately. The day of the wedding they were flexible and rolled with the punches. We were running late, but when we got there they moved everything along smoothly so we got back on track without rushing through any of those beautiful First Look moments. During the shoots they were friendly and fun making all the photos in a chilly air no problem at all. They work together so naturally, knowing what the other is thinking without having to say it which leads to absolutely amazing photos. They made my husband and I feel so comfortable during the shoots. They also went along with our crazy, outgoing wedding party and turned it into some wonderful and funny photos! During the reception they graciously stayed an extra hour and were so flexible when we decided to add some formal portraits of family and friends. They were always around to capture some amazing moments on the dance floor, by the photo booth, and at the tables yet didn't seem like they were intruding at all. I can not recommend them enough! I don't know how we would have gotten through the day so smoothly if not for them! Thank you so much Rebecca and Mike!

Becca and Mike were absolutely amazing to work with. From our very first meeting until the day the photo drive arrived in the mail, I have not once been disappointed. They were so professional, yet fun on our wedding day and made taking all of our photos so easy and enjoyable. My husband and I booked Garone Photography 16 months in advance because as soon as I saw their work, I knew I just had to have them! Becca and her husband Mike are seriously a dream team. They are just good people and their personalities make you feel at ease and incredibly comfortable. From our engagement session to our wedding day, it has been nothing but a pleasure working with them. Becca is quick to answer emails and any questions you may have- even if you think they are silly, she treats every question as if it were important and answers honestly and friendly. The payment structure and process is so worth the money! It is above average but the pictures are nothing short of incredible. It's hard to find the words to describe just how incredible Rebecca and Mike were. They were amazing to work with and my wedding photos are just stunning. I tried to make a favorites folder out of the almost 800 images I received and I couldn't get below 700...they're just THAT good. Figuring out which ones I want to print is going to be impossible. They pulled us away to take photos throughout the night which was essential for me and my husband to spend time alone during the wedding. It gave us a way to decompress, smooch by ourselves for a while and take it all in - and we got amazing photos out of it! My photos look like they belong in a magazine. My wedding felt like a fairy tale and all of my photos made me look like a princess. I'm stunned! The price might seem steep up front, but honestly I would have paid twice as much for the quality of the photos and for how easy it was to work with this PERFECT vendor. Even my husband who is very frugal (even to the point where he didn't even want to get a photographer) agrees. We were both crying looking at the photos when we got them back. I know that we'll be able to look at these photos 50 years from now and be brought right back to the moment. Amazing!

The work that was done for us from beginning to end was FABULOUS!!!! Our engagement shoot was last year and we still have friends asking who took our photos... Communication with Rebecca and Mike was so seamless. We were never left in the dark and had all of our questions and concerns answered right away. We have many friends that will be married in the next couple of years and they did not hesitate to approach the Garones for their business cards.. We are extremely appreciative for all the tips, hints and direction we received from them...THANK YOU GUYS!!!

Garone Photography was definitely an improvement from our first go with Classic Photography. Rebecca Garone was who we initially wanted but decided to try to save money and go with a less expensive option. However, we learned you get what you pay for. Rebecca had initially agreed to shoot our wedding when we cancelled our first photographer, then told us something else came up that she couldn't turn down and offered her new photographer, David Lane. We chose to go with him and he was absolutely fantastic for our engagement photos. He spent about 3 hours outside with us and we had so much fun with him. We were incredibly happy with the results. The wedding day, however was OK. I think that if we had done a "first look" and did most of our photos prior to the ceremony (which he was willing to do for no extra cost) he would have done a much more complete job. Instead, we were rushed due to time between the ceremony and reception. He got mad when the wedding coordinator stole us for a minute to show us the ballroom before they allowed anyone else to enter. That was a little unsettling. He seemed fine the rest of the time. I am overall pleased with the photos, but we def missed out on some family and wedding party shots that would have been fun to get. He also never posted our wedding photos on his blog, so he must know it wasn't his best work as well.

Dave Lane from Garone Photography photographed our engagement session and our wedding. He responded to our emails and calls in a timely manner and was punctual! He instantly made us feel at ease during our engagement session, which made us feel really comfortable the day of the wedding. Dave was really enthusiastic the day of the wedding, making sure we got some nice shots during our quick stop on the way to the reception and at the reception venue. He was also very diligent in working down the list of many family photos I wanted the day of the wedding. The guestbook, which was comprised of photos from our engagement session, came out awesome and was put together like a story! We are anxiously awaiting the wedding photos! :) My only negative was that the owner claimed she sent us a second proof of our guestbook cover that we did not receive it and she also did not notify us when the guestbook was completed. So, if you do not hear about items in a timely fashion, definitely reach out to her first.

I new I wanted Garone to photograph my wedding the month after I got engaged. They were amazing!! Answered any questions we had right away. Her and her husband were so much fun to work with on our wedding day, they really did capture the most amazing moments of our special day so I would recommend Garone to anyone!! :)

Dave Lane and his associate Bruce were excellent! They were on top of every shot and took the time to get what was really important to us! Dave made the decision to take us from the reception for some sunset shots and boy did he deliver! We received pictures online within only 2 weeks of our wedding. Prices were reasonable and TOTALLY worth the cost! I highly recommend them to anyone needing a photographer!

Mike and Rebecca are AMAZING! They are fun to be around and the quality of their pictures are wonderful. They have GREAT ideas and also took the time to listen to our ideas and incorporate them into the wedding. They responded to my calls/e-mails very quickly and set up meeting with us whenever necessary. By the time the wedding came around I felt like they were family. We could not have asked for better photographers.

I can't recommend Garone Photography enough! Rebecca did both our engagement and wedding photos. Right before our wedding we found out there was going to be an enormous festival right in the middle of town. Rebecca went above and beyond to help us find not only locations for the pictures, but the best travel routes for our guests! She is so calm and professional, that my husband and I felt very comfortable during the events. She and her husband did a fantastic job at wedding ceremony and reception! Everyone has been very impressed with the quality of our photos, and the amazing way she uses light and the sky to enhance the photos.

Rebecca Garone is by far the most amazing photographer! She was so easy to get ahold of leading up to and after the wedding. She doesn't come cheap... but she is WELL worth the price that she charges. If you want photos that you'll be drooling over for a lifetime, I HIGHLY recommend her. I just had my "viewing party" for my photos two weeks ago and I am completely shocked at the quality. Every other photo that came up nearly brought me to tears, I couldn't help but smile the entire time. She gives a CD with all the digital copies as well as a folder filled with "facebook" photos. They are all edited with her watermark (so she gets credit) and sized to upload easily. My photos have been posted on my facebook for two weeks now and I still get dozens of comments on them daily saying how breathtaking they are. Another perk of highering Rebecca... her husband comes as a second photographer for free! There were dozens of photos that I had a second perspective of because he walks around taking photos as well. They work great as a team and you almost never realize they are there. They never get in the way... they are like photography ninjas! I assure you... you will not regret highering Garone Photography!

If you are looking for a photographer,look no further! Garone is THE BEST around! Rebecca and her husband Mike are amazing! Not only as photographers, but amazing people! I never dreamed of anyone capturing our day the way they did. Photos weren't just photos...they were moments captured and each one tells a story. From the first time we met to having a blast during our engagement shoot to the wedding...simply amazing. They weren't just our wedding photographer - they have become our friends and we are anxious for the next phase of our life so they can capture that too.

Garone was a great team. The day of our wedding went very easy because they were able to assist us in were to go and what to do as well as capture every moment of the day.

I met several photographers at an Expo but the one that stood out the most was Mike Garone from Garone Photography. When I talked with him I loved how he said that they may shoot the same venues throughout the year but that they always try to select different areas for each bride to make their experience and photo’s unique to them. I loved their style of photography. They were a little out of my price range, but I am a firm believer of you get what you pay for and they were so worth the price! My husband and I decided to get married at 3pm on 9-24-11 at the MGM in CT. Jason and I had fun with the engagement shoot and we were excited to get the pictures back. We got our engagement pictures in a few short weeks and LOVED them!! We knew that we had made the right choice for our wedding. We decided to do the Guest Sign in book and used our engagement pictures for it. We had so many compliments at the wedding about the Photo Guest book!! People loved the idea that they could write something personal to us. On the day of the wedding we had our pictures done before the ceremony. Jason and I decided to have “us” time before the craziness of the day began, so we took a limo with Mike and Rebecca to the Harkness Park in CT. They both made us feel so comfortable and we felt like we had known them for years. Once we got back to the MGM we started the wedding party pictures and Mike and Rebecca were very organized and quick with the photos. Rebecca and Mike helped me out so much throughout the day, Jay and I both feel that they went above and beyond. They even suggested jumping into the pool at the end of the reception. The end of the night I was so hot from wearing my gown and dancing that I decided to do it. Mike and Rebecca went and contacted the hotel management to unlock the pool area and turn on the lights for us so that the whole wedding party could jump in the pool. Rebecca was shoulders deep in the pool water with all her clothes so she could capture the moment, it was AWESOME! We had so much fun!! We had so many people come up to us at throughout the wedding and after the wedding praising Rebecca and Mike for the amazing job that they did. People could not believe that they got into the pool water to take pictures of us jumping in. We are so thankful that we could share our day with Rebecca and Mike and we are looking forward to seeing our pictures!!

Worth every penny! I am a picky bride since I am an art major and my biggest thing was the photography. They not only met but exceeded my expectations! They were so friendly and I am so happy with the photos I have gotten.

What an absolutely gorgeous way to remember our day! Rebecca and Mike go above and beyond and take some of the most memorable photos ever! We were so excited to see them and couldn't have been more pleased! Cost included 6 hours, a mid res disk and an album that we're very excited to put together!
