I met Garren for the first time at my sister’s wedding 5 years ago, and I knew from that moment that I wanted him to be my wedding photographer. So, that I did, and it was the absolute BEST decision! Starting out with our engagement photos, Garren makes everything feel fun and natural, especially if you’ve never gotten professional pictures taken before. Garren was a tremendous photographer and person to work with throughout this entire process - he even visited me at work when he was nearby! He was flexible with our engagement shoot when rain interrupted us, and was prepared for anything that might happen. Leading up to the wedding, he was always easy to reach and was a reassuring voice when needed. Gabby and Garren captured everything we could've wanted - and more - throughout the entire wedding day, and had the gallery delivered to us as promised. The photos are tremendous, and Garren and Gabby were fun to be with throughout the whole wedding day. On top of everything else, when glass was broken on the dance floor, he had the bride off the floor before she cut her feet and had the broom in hand to clean up the glass. Truly a great person to work with and would recommend to anyone looking for a photographer.

From the time my husband and I met Garren, we were infatuated. His attention to detail and creativity make him stand out above the rest. We spent a week in Vermont where Garren hand selected the perfect location for us to take engagement photos. We used his photos on our save the dates, invitations, and now thank you notes. Garren started as a vendor and ended as a friend. We are so appreciative and will forever be grateful for the time we spent with him. Thank you Garren, we love you!

There simply are not enough words to describe how fantastic Garren and Gabby did on our big day. From the minute we first reached out to Garren at the recommendation of MANY vendors and our venue, he was a rock star. Garren spent a ton of time focusing on the details, getting to know us, and planning for the big day. When the big day came, him and Gabby made it so flawless and FUN. They got the best shots, had everyone laughing the whole time, and were so efficient. We're not the most photogenic or creative but that doesn't matter when you have this all start team on your side. Garren got all the little kids laughing and smiling and they didn't miss a single shot. We're not planning on having to get married again but we'll be calling Garren anytime we need any other photos taken. If you're planning a wedding or other photo shoot, you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't call these rockstars.

We hired Garren for our engagement photos and wedding. He was unbelievable!! From the day we booked with him to even the days after the wedding, he was very responsive, flexible, and just so easy to work with. It was truly impressive how creative he is and how good he is with the camera. He really knows how to work with his settings and orchestrate so many different shots in such short time or busy moments. His personality makes it so fun. He keeps you entertained and comfortable the whole time. Not only us, but everyone was blown away. Weeks after the wedding and he was still the topic of conversation when we reminisced on our big day with family and friends. Our parents and wedding party were especially so impressed. Garren was an incredible photographer and an invaluable part of our wedding day. We've had so many compliments on our photos. Our weather did not cooperate, but we still wound out with a host of beautiful photos to remember the day by. Do yourself a favor and book him!

We truly cannot say enough good things about Garren. First, his pictures are stunning- he really knows what he's doing and we could not be happier with how they came out. Garren does a great mix of traditional shots with creative shots which really gave us a great mix of beautiful pictures. Maybe more importantly though Garren and his team are phenomenal to work with and go above and beyond. Garren makes the day so easy as he is organized and coordinates everything. He does the little things like keeping track of our first look cards before and after to even getting us drinks. Garren does this all without even realizing he is there for all the candid shots. Besides picking each other, hiring Garren as our wedding photographer was the single best decision we made for our wedding! He was able to immediately connect with both of us and our wedding party, making everybody feel relaxed and at ease. While his incredible picture speak for themselves, what really deserves mentioning is how essential he was during our wedding day always keeping us on time and organized. He was willing to do anything to get the shot that he wanted, and anything for us - at times even getting us drinks and clearing our plates after dinner. Four years later as my son taking nap on me I’m finally writing my review !!! Well life gets busy but it’s never too late. Garren just the perfect photographer from the moment you have a phone chat with him to engagement photo shoot and finally wedding day! Professional, easy going and funny! You just feel comfortable around him which will makes you look your best on your special day. And the most important it’s not just one day job for him . Four years later he still wishes us happy birthday every year , happy anniversary or just hello. He just randomly tag you into his post and remind you of that special time you married your significant other!

Garren is the best photographer we could have asked for. What can I say that can accurately convey how amazing Garren is. We met via Zoom months ago when we were interviewing photographers for our wedding and we had an instant connection with him on that first meeting and knew we had to hire him. We met months later for our engagement shoot and had SO much fun taking shots all around Boston. Finally our wedding day in Vermont arrived and to no surprise - Garren absolutely CRUSHED it! He is truly an artist. His photography is original and unique and unlike any standard wedding photography that you're used too. We fell in love with his style and his vibe and knew we had to hire him upon that first Zoom meeting. Not only is he a phenomenal photographer, but he is also so kind and fun and made the whole experience so enjoyable. He will dance around with you and joke and just make you feel at ease. Where do I even begin?! We were concerned about finding a local photographer because our wedding was five hours away from our hometown, but we knew we couldn't have made a better choice for our wedding day the moment we met Garren at our engagement session. He truly is the reason our wedding was perfect. The groomsmen, family, friends, and bridesmaids all had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. Garren was on top of everything, so I don't even think we needed to hire a wedding coordinator! He is really personable, hilarious, and professional, and he really gets the crowd going. Because of how much my family adores him, my sister hired him for her wedding and even traveled to Arizona to shoot with him. We're all so excited to spend the day with him yet again! The amount of people that said my wedding pictures could be in a magazine, proves how amazing this man is. I could go on forever, we love you Garren!!!

Astonishing how great he is. Recently he was hired for my son's wedding and it's difficult to describe how wonderful he was. The creativity is effortless to him, he is friendly and funny and energetic and its really hard to get your mind around how lucky you feel to have hired him. His photos are unlike other photographers work but he also get the perfect gorgeous shots you are expecting and even having watched him work, we still are in disbelief how many creative and dramatic and fantastic shots he achieved. I've been to lots of weddings, worked in the beauty industry for my career and I've never seen a photographer like him and never seen anyone deliver the photos he delivered. They appear to have been set up for hours for a magazine advertisement but having watched him work tirelessly shoot the wedding and instantaneously assess the situation and surroundings and then garner a shot that can easily be framed art, it was a true true pleasure to have had the opportunity to work with him. Again, we all feel so lucky to have found him and so lucky to have hired him. He is a true artist and his friendly and accommodating attitude come across with sincerity and his technical abilities are absolutely superb.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Garren. When reviewing photographers for our wedding we immediately fell in love with his style. From our first Zoom introductory call he was kind and professional, and when we met him in-person for the first time at our engagement photoshoot we knew we made the right choice in hiring him; he was so flexible, knew all the great spots for a wide variety of photos, considered the time of day, sunset, etc. Leading up to the wedding he called & texted asking if we needed anything and kept the wedding party on-schedule when getting ready the day-of. Once he arrived that morning when hair & makeup was going on, that’s the moment it all started to feel real to me…he was a kind and calming presence. Even our wedding party, families, and all the guests told us what a nice, fun, dedicated, and talented guy he is. I get chills when I look at our photos; he truly captured the magic of that day. Garren is a true artist and his work speaks for itself. Don’t sleep on the decision to hire him!!!

Form the second we viewed Garren's photos on Instagram, we knew his style was exactly what we were looking for. We could not have asked for a better experience working with Garren. He picked the perfect location for our engagement photos and we were blown away with how they came out. On our wedding day, Garren was integral in ensuring we were on track with our timeline and kept us laughing the whole time. He is SO creative and talented, we can't emphasize enough how lucky we are that Garren was available to capture out special day!

We had Garren photograph our 11/13/21 wedding at Lake Bomoseen lodge and tap room in Vermont. I chose him off a list of preferred vendors as we are from MA and did not know much around the area, well that was the best decision we ever made for our wedding. Garren is amazing! Our pictures came out stunning even with it torrentially down-pouring all day. He was so fun and happy and positive. Even now when our wedding is brought up anyone there says how amazing was your photographer?! He truly was the best and I could never recommend him enough!!!

My FIL told us after the wedding that he didn’t realize that we had hired “the Michael Jordan of wedding photographers,” which perfectly sums up our experience with Garren! Though he’s “based” in the NE/Vermont, he comes to AZ every year. We did our engagement shoot at Lost Dutchman and there were no less than 20 other couples and photographers doing the exact same thing lol. But Garren was notably the only photographer with a full lighting set up, getting us to hike laps around other couples up and down the mountain to get truly artistic shots - we may have gotten some looks! At the reception, multiple guests witnessed Garren sprinting across the dance floor to capture our flower girls running down a hill, which ended up being some of our favorite photos. After both shoots, we received sneak peaks that night and our full galleries in just a few weeks - so much faster than other friends’ experiences with their photographers. My husband and I are not fond of pictures, but Garren kept us and our loved ones relaxed, laughing, AND on time. Literally the GOAT! If you’re looking for a completely bespoke, professional experience with magazine-quality photos that will continue to wow for years, look no further than Garren. He’s an awesome and talented human, and we’re so grateful and lucky to now call him a good friend!

I came across Garren’s work through a past co-worker of mine and right away I said ‘I have to have him!’ Our first conversation we realized we had some mutual family/friend connections and I guess you could say the rest was history! Garren calls himself a NE Photographer and was willing to make the trek from VT to MA no problem. He was even more flexible when we had to make changes not only our date but location due to c*vid. His work speaks for itself, but in the moment he makes you feel so comfortable (I think we needed a bit of coaching haha) he’s talented, funny, he managed to wrangle our entire 30+ person wedding party with no issues. He’s not afraid to get in there to fulfill his vision AND yours - like laying on the ground or being a stealthy ninja and snagging your veil blowing just right in the wind with your husband smiling in to your eyes. He surprised us with a handful of teasers the very next day and they were breathtaking. So look no further, Garren is your guy!

Words can not express our level of appreciation and gratitude towards Garren and our experience with him on our wedding day! He was the consummate professional. In addition to being an extremely talented, kind, and light-hearted individual, he is amazing at what he does! Photographs were at the top of our list and we couldn’t have been more excited to work with Garren. If you are trying to decide if you should hire Garren to photograph your wedding, stop what you're doing and contact him immediately. It's the best decision you will ever make. We were lucky enough to do engagement photos, our elopement, and wedding celebration with Garren, and each time, he proved just how special of a person, and photographer, he is. Garren does FAR more than just take photos. I joked with my bridesmaids this year that I call him my Fairy Godmother, but it's the truth. During our elopement last year, Garren was the one keeping me company while I got ready, Garren put my veil in my hair, Garren checked the weather and noticed a storm rolling in, so we got started earlier to avoid the rain. And when we got rained on, he captured some of the most epic pictures I've ever seen. This year, while there were more people involved in the day, Garren still made a huge impact, wrangling numerous family members and kids, making sure we were on schedule (even early in some cases), and answering all of my questions, many of which were not at all photography related. Long story short, Garren is both an incredible photographer, and human. I would recommend him to anyone, anywhere!

Garren is incredibly talented! For our engagement session he was open to us getting some photos at a brewery and made us comfortable right away. He knows so many great locations in Vermont to get amazing shots. He is creative and was able to capture so many photos for us within our 2 hour shoot. We hired him for our rehearsal dinner and wedding day as well. When an emergency came up he informed us as soon as possible and had his second shooter Gabby come for the rehearsal dinner photos. She was just as amazing and was able to capture so many photos of our family and friends on such a special night. Garren and Gabby were both there on the wedding day and were punctual as well as reassuring that the weather wouldn’t be an issue (since we did have rain in the forecast)! Garren and Gabby once again made us all feel comfortable and made all our photos so much fun. From just getting our sneak peaks back I’m already so in love with our photos. The talent, flexibility, and creativity are unmatched with this team – highly highly recommend!!

Garren is absolutely amazing! He is extremely talented and personable. He shot our wedding in June of 2021 and was incredible. He is so easy to talk to and work with. He is very organized and knew exactly where to be at what time. Every single picture came out amazing and we got SO many compliments on them. We hired Garren in 2018 for our 2020 wedding, which due to COVID, turned into a 2021 wedding, and he was amazing to work with! With many changes to our plan and dates Garren was always great with communication and was very responsive and helpful! We are so glad that in addition to our wedding day Garren also did our engagement photos which was a great opportunity to get to know him! All of our family and friends loved how energetic and enthusiastic he was through out our whole wedding! He was very efficient with our first look and family photos and made everyone feel natural and not posed. Garren makes sure that there is a great amount of variety in the types of photos that he takes. His work is amazing and I would highly recommend working with him!

Garren is simply the G.O.A.T of photographers! We had a blast hiking around the Killington area on a beautiful winters day for our engagement photos. His calm and humorous demeanor made it easy to be comfortable in front of the camera and he had no problem trudging through the snow to get the perfect shot. He even offered us his AAA membership to assist us when our car got stuck! On our wedding day, he managed to keep 10+ women in the bridal suite calm, comfortable and to the timeline. He caught every shot and moment of us getting ready and his second photographer Abi was able to do the same with the men. With the absolute perfect fall day, colorful trees down low, a snow frosted Mt. Mansfield as the backdrop. Garren made sure to take full advantage of the incredible scenery. Throughout the ceremony, and the many family/party photos we requested post ceremony, Garren was professional, efficient and the definition of service with a smile. After the family/party photos were wrapped up, we hopped in Garrens vehicle for our next adventure. He took us to the most beautiful and quaint covered bridge by the river just down the road from our venue and again was able to get some truly incredible shots! After getting through all the introductions, dances etc... Garren was super accommodating with any other shots we requested throughout the night and even the ones we didn't. He was super resourceful and creative whether it was the perfect lighting outside or a unique prop/opportunity inside. Garren was getting down on the dance floor as well and got some genuine shots of us and our guests truly enjoying the moment. Finally, after long days work, Garren came to say goodbye. Being so personable, funny and kind, Garren makes you forget that he's there to do a job and we were sad to see him go. We were super happy with all the photo's when we received them some weeks later. To sum it all up, if you don't book Garren as your photographer you're truly missing out. We hope to keep in touch for any of our next ventures and could not recommend him enough for yours!

Garren shot our engagement and wedding photos and was absolutely incredible. I’ve never felt so comfortable or had so much fun being photographed (trust me, I’m an awkward photo rookie). He fit in seamlessly with our guests, he got all our photos done soooo quickly so we wouldn’t miss one bit of our wedding, and all of our guests were obsessed with him. He is an absolute pro at rallying the troops, posing people and making sure everyone knows what to do. And he knew every single spot at and around the Grafton Inn. Garren is beyond professional, easy to communicate with (and always made himself available for questions!) and just a gem of a human overall. you should book garren!! he 100 percent was our favorite person in attendance at our wedding. he instantly immersed himself in capturing me getting ready, and literally had to navigate my awkwardness of never being photographed in my life...and acted like it was a breeze. he made me feel so at ease and cozy; he was funny and unintrusive and not annoying too! i had heard the photography of your wedding day can be exhausting and irritating, but garren made it fun and not invasive...actually joyful! he had a way of making my family excited to be involved in the photo-taking, and guests sought him out. i am so excited to see the album, but all the shots he let me sneak-peep are actually dream snaps. i can't believe it's me and my husband, i can't believe that day was so beautiful, and i can't believe garren captured it so incredibly. i am so grateful for him and everything he did to make our wedding day my favorite day on earth.

There's so many good things to say about Garren and his work it's hard to write a quick review. My husband and I aren't exactly the first to jump in front of a camera, I believe we had about 10 pictures of us prior to getting married. Needless to say the thought of posing for a billion pictures was less than exciting. All I can say is Garren was a rockstar. He was so understanding and also a true professional. We honestly forgot the camera was there after the first few minutes. He was thoughtful about capturing us as a couple as well as our friends and family. Garren's eye and expertise captured our day perfectly. He was easy to work with, we would work with him again in a heartbeat!

Garren met and exceeded all of our expectations! It is clear that he enjoys what he does for a living and this shows in his work. Words can't even explain how unbelievable Garrentee Photography is! Garren and his staff are amazing!!! We booked with Garren as soon as we were engaged and could not be happier. Because we had an "engagement" baby, we were unable to do an engagement shoot so Garren came to our rehearsal dinner and got some great shots of us with family and friends. He is probably the most down to earth person there is and made us feel so comfortable the entire time. He is beyond creative and ran the show when he was there. The day of our wedding he arrived ahead of time and got so many detailed shots. The other vendors could not stop talking about how great he was. Him and his assistant were on point during everything. They directed us during formal pictures yet let us be natural so it didn't feel forced. He knew exactly what we wanted and kept us right on track during the entire day. We shot all of our formal pictures before the ceremony so we could be a part of cocktail hour. We managed to greet and thank our guests in that hour while Garren still snuck us away for breathtaking sunset shots. He was there without being up in our faces which made it really nice to enjoy the wedding and get a lot of candid shots. During the reception he uploaded a few pictures from the day onto his iPad and put it on display. Our guests cannot stop talking about how talented he is. Again, there are no words for how truly talented he is. We booked a photographer and made a forever friend in the process. Please if you're looking for the best in New England, with more than reasonable prices and someone who knows what they're doing, pay him a visit! You will NOT be disappointed. Sheer genius!! Picking a wedding photographer can be overwhelming. But it doesn't need to be. Garren Poirier is an incredible talent and he is as far as you need to search. I am not one who enjoys having my picture taken nor do I usually like pictures of myself. But in his presence I felt so comfortable and truly enjoyed the experience not to mention I love how I look in the photos he took of both our engagement and wedding. They're not even photos, they are works of art. Our wedding was in Lake Placid and he took photos like he had lived there all his life. He is truly brilliant. From knowing just what angle I looked best at to what time of day the lighting would be perfect. And he's more than a photographer. He's your personal bride counselor so that when you're losing your mind over the stress of the wedding he will find it for you and put it back in your head. Even people at my wedding were talking about how wonderful he was! He missed nothing. No moment went uncaptured in just the most flattering and thoughtful way possible. He took a photo of me and my mother that brought tears to peoples' eyes, many of them strangers. My husband and I could not be more thrilled with having chosen Garren as our photographer. My husband and I hired Garren to photograph our Vermont wedding in July of 2016. He came recommended by our wedding planner and he did not disappoint! He is professional, friendly, and has a great attitude and sense of humor that made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. He met with us on multiple occasions to make sure that we were all on the same page. He also drove to Boston for our engagement shoot, which allowed us to get to know him better. On the day of the wedding, Garren didn't miss a beat. I have seen formals taken at other weddings that were very chaotic and drawn out, but Garren took control and got through our formals very quickly. This allowed us to enjoy some of cocktail hour and spend time with our guests. We loved all of the wedding detail shots, such as our rings, the dress, the table settings, and the decorations around the inn. He also had a second shooter, which between the two of them, were able to capture every shot that we could have wanted. He stayed until the very end of the wedding, finishing the night with lots of fun dancing pictures and a sparkler send-off. We highly recommend Garren to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding or special event!

I met Garren one bright and sunny morning in Killington at a well-known breakfast place on the Killington access road with 20 of my closest friends approximately 3 weeks before the wedding. Luckily, he was still available. We immediately hit it off! His spirit, style, ideas and attitude fit well with myself and friends. I knew his work would be a success and I was right! Garren Poirier was exceptional in both professionalism and cost for the services provided. He included the engagement shoot as well as full day service the day of the wedding. He hired a 2nd photographer as accomplished as himself for the day's events. Garren was personable and approachable during our meetings as well as guided us to what to expect. He was unobtrusive during the ceremony and got all the shots of the the couple and friends and family that we asked for. His final photos were artistic and captured the mood of the day. I would recommend him highly.
