Gary Kelley really helped make our day very very special! From start to finish, he was professional, timely, super nice man, and very knowledgeable and helpful not to mention funny! We definitely highly recommend Gary for any couples special day. It was a pure pleasure having Gary do the honors of marrying us.
We hired Gary to officiate the celebration of life for a dear relative. Gary was very efficient, kind, caring, thorough and respectful. He showed app on time, he showed up a little early, in fact, which was perfect. He touched base throughout the process to make sure everything was being included and was being pronounced correctly. He made everyone feel like he was part of the family. I would highly recommend Gary!

For more than four decades, Gary has connected with audiences across San Diego through radio, television, live events, weddings, and personal celebrations. Many couples — and often their parents — recognize him from his years on iconic San Diego radio stations including KCBQ, B100, KPRI, and KSON, as well as his work on ABC 10News and CW6.
Long before becoming a wedding officiant, Gary spent years helping couples celebrate some of the biggest moments of their lives through his San Diego entertainment company, providing music and hosting for thousands of weddings and special events. Throughout his broadcasting career, he introduced legendary artists and entertainers including The Beach Boys, The Doobie Brothers, Kenny Loggins, Robin Williams, and Adam Sandler at venues ranging from Jack Murphy Stadium to the San Diego Sports Arena.
Over the years, Gary has learned that the most meaningful ceremonies are never really about scripts or formalities — they're about connection. He begins by listening. By understanding each couple's story, personalities, and vision for their wedding day, he helps create ceremonies that feel natural, meaningful, and uniquely theirs.
Some couples want something heartfelt and emotional. Others prefer light, joyful, and relaxed. Some include personal vows, readings, faith elements, or family traditions. Others prefer something simple and elegant. Gary believes there are no wrong choices — only the choices that feel true to the couple standing in front of him.

Outside of weddings and minister services, Gary continues hosting Grown-Up Radio, a music station created for the often-forgotten 55+ generation, celebrating the soundtrack of people's lives.

Whether you're planning an intimate elopement, a beach wedding, or a celebration surrounded by family and friends, my goal is to create a ceremony that feels authentic, heartfelt, and unmistakably yours—not one that could have been written for anyone else.
I've had the privilege of connecting with San Diego audiences through Weddings, Radio, Television, Live events, and now wedding ceremonies. Those experiences taught me how to help people feel comfortable, relaxed, and fully present during life's biggest moments.
My role isn't to be the center of attention. It's to tell your story with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care, so your family and friends leave saying, "That ceremony was so them."
From our first conversation through the completion of your marriage license, I strive to make the entire experience simple and stress-free. After your ceremony, I'll ensure your marriage license is completed correctly, mail it to the County Clerk within 24 hours, and send you the tracking number so you'll know it's safely on its way.
