Gas South Convention Center and the Hudgens Center for the Arts are located on the Gas South District campus in lovely, Duluth, GA, just 30 minutes north of downtown Atlanta. This versatile campus can accommodate weddings from small and intimate to large, international weddings. There are an array of indoor and outdoor settings to choose from, allowing you to create and customize your unforgettable romantic experience. Facilities and Capacity The Gas South District 118-acre campus will give couples various venues to create their vision. The Grand Ballroom has 21,000 square feet of space, which acts as a blank canvas for you to create your nuptial vision. With a capacity of up to 1,000 guests, this event space is ideal for planning an extravagant celebration. The interior features an interesting, geometric-style ceiling to add a chic touch to your reception, and custom uplighting can easily help create your desired mood. An elevated stage area is available, and the Grand Ballroom is complemented by a pre-function gallery, which gives you 10,000 square feet of space, with a lakefront view for your cocktail hour. Smaller meeting rooms are also on-site to serve as dressing suites or rehearsal dinner venues. For larger, international weddings, the 50,000 SF Exhibit Hall can be designed to accommodate 2,000 plus guests, and your vision is only limited by your budget! On the east end of the campus, The Hudgens Center for the Arts offers an indoor/outdoor experience, ideal for those hoping for a cozy garden wedding. The outdoor Sculpture Garden is flush with native plants, trees, outdoor sculptures, lily pads, and a cozy courtyard. A small waterfall and koi fish pond will add to your peaceful atmosphere in this open-air space. The interior Hudgens venue offers a Grand Hall, which can accommodate 100 guests, who will be surrounded by local, regional, and national art on display in a fresh, modern venue. Services Offered The Gas South District is run by dedicated, welcoming staff ready to accommodate your unique needs. Tables, chairs, and linens will be provided. Your onsite event coordinators will be present on your special day, to ensure everything goes smoothly. The in-house catering team is Atlanta's award-winning Proof of the Pudding, which will happily curate your menu with professional flair, offering mouth-watering creations and menus to meet a range of budgets.
