n several Champaign stations and so he has endless music lists on his computer. If one of my songs wasn't on his lists, we downloaded it and cut it to the right version I wanted. He also let me play my own personal Spotify during the cocktail hour, which was a special list of songs I created.
I recommend meeting with them a week or two before your big day; that's what Jason and I did and that was when he asked me what kind of music I wanted during the reception(pop, show tunes, club, country), how I wanted transitions to work, uplighting, microphones for various people, and so forth. It's just a great time for them to get to know your personality and style.
Overall I had a terrific experience with this company. You don't really want your guests to even notice your dj until after dinner at the reception, and that's exactly what Jason did. He was flawless.
