ded by the venue. Assistance with simple tasks like setting up table numbers, seating charts, and small décor would have made a big difference. The only other thing I was dissatisfied with was how long it took to schedule our food tasting. The delay was consistently attributed to the Bucks’ playoff schedule, but it’s hard to believe that those dates weren’t known in advance. A bit more proactive planning or communication around this would have made the experience smoother. I know this seems nitpicky, but these are a few things I wish I would have known doing into things. Knowing what I know now I still would have booked the same venue! Ultimately everything turned out perfect.

For the “simple tasks,” we intentionally limit these so our team can stay focused on preparing the venue and ensuring excellent food service and quality throughout your event. That said, we completely understand how those small details can make a big difference, and we’ll keep this in mind as we continue to enhance our wedding experience. Regarding tastings, we sincerely apologize for any frustration around scheduling. Because the NBA playoff dates aren’t finalized until about a week in advance, we try to avoid tastings during that time to prevent any last-minute changes that could inconvenience our couples. To help with this, we host a wonderful tasting event each January where couples can sample many of our menu offerings and meet the team. We’re so glad to know that everything turned out perfectly in the end, and we’re honored you chose us to be part of such an important day. Not only is the space itself beautiful + modern, but the location truly can't be beat with multiple hotels less than a 5-minute walk away, Fiserv Forum right next door + countless restaurants nearby. With so many of our guests traveling from out of town, GATHER gave them the perfect opportunity to experience Milwaukee, the city we love so much! From the initial tour all the way through our reception day, Parker + Mali were amazing to work with. Mali was especially helpful in brainstorming ways to make our menu unique, which our guests absolutely loved. On the day of our wedding, the staff went above + beyond by answering questions, making sure everything ran smoothly + taking great care of our guests. We probably visited the venue three or four times from when we booked the space, and they were always incredibly accommodating and eager to help. Guests raved about the glass windows and outdoor patio, and we were able to make the space our own through flowers, lights, and rentals. We’re so glad we picked Gather for our wedding venue!

The staff went above and beyond to make our day special, especially Mali, who was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and patient with all my questions (and there were a lot!). Thanks to their organization and attention to detail, everything ran smoothly, leaving us to simply enjoy the day. One of the most thoughtful touches was when they made sure my husband and I got to try all the appetizers and desserts by preparing special plates for us and placing them at our seats—something we’ll always remember. The venue itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of Milwaukee and the Deer District through its expansive windows. It provided the perfect backdrop for such an important day, and it’s something our guests are still talking about. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with top-notch service, this is it. ent coordinator, was extremely helpful and very patient with our multitude of questions! Mali helped oversee our food accommodations and helped us navigate the ordering process. The flow of the days leading up to the wedding to the day itself went much smoother than we thought, and that was largely due to the incredible help of the GATHER staff. During the actual wedding itself, we were overcome with joy at how beautiful the space turned out - from the gorgeous views of the floor to ceiling windows to the huge balcony utilized for getting some air during the reception, we know that we chose the right spot. I'm so glad we found GATHER and would recommend to any couples in the Milwaukee area!

ized and professional Gather was as it was a far better experience we had with the previous owners. Sarah was incredibly organized and easy to work with in the planning process. Eric and the other day-of coordinator were organized, kind, and professional with staff that was the same. We got many compliments on how kind the staff was. They even packed up our centerpieces at the end of the night, which we were supposed to do. The food was tasty and many guests told us it was their favorite wedding food they'd had (short ribs and chicken were our choices). We love the industrial space and atmosphere of Deer District as it was inviting and fun for our guests. If that's the environment you're wanting, we highly recommend Gather.
