My husband and I were married in Aruba this past July and could not have been more pleased with the experience. From the onset Meghan made us feel completely at ease, which says a lot when you're dealing with two people who are anything but comfortable in front of a camera. We decided to also hire a videographer for our special day which we're sure made it more difficult for her to operate, but she adapted seamlessly. She arrived a few days early to scout potential locations and found the most wonderfully picturesque backgrounds. Her knowledge of lighting and timing are what you would expect from a professional photographer, but were still impressed with the amount of research she did to make sure we were at the perfect spot at the exact right moment for our sunset pictures on the beach. We received the finish in product in a timely manner and were blown away by the results. You can't go wrong with Gathering Light Photography, they were consummate professionals from start to finish.

We could not be happier with our pictures from Gathering Light Photography! Meghan did such an amazing job taking control of my quite rowdy bridal party and made us feel so special during our first look photos. We can't say enough wonderful things about Meghan. Our engagement and wedding photographs are absolutely beautiful. She captured all of the special moments of our big day and has given photos we will treasure forever. We received our photos back from our wedding two weeks after our big day - you never hear of that ! She was wonderful to work with through the planning process and on our wedding day. Her and husband were so wonderful with our guests and our bridal party, especially our nervous and camera shy flower girls. They braved the cold and snow and gave up their New Years Eve for us. I've already recommended her to three of my friends getting married and will continue to spread the word about her her incredible talent. Thank you Meghan for amazing pics!

Meghan photographed our wedding last August, and we couldn't be happier with the way the photos turned out. Meghan was so friendly and great to work with. We met with her ahead of time to talk about what we were looking for, and she and her assistant were there from start to finish on our big day, capturing every detail. They had a great eye for what would make a good shot - from candid shots of our guests, to posed portrait shots, to wide shots of the ceremony, to little details around the room that told the story of the whole day, in a mix of black and white and color. But what I appreciated most was how Meghan made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and was able to tell us just what to do and how to stand to make a perfect picture! We ended up with some gorgeous shots of my now-husband and I that we will always treasure, several of which we will be framing and hanging on our wall. I highly recommend working with Gathering Light Photography!

Meghan was a joy to work with and our pictures are stunning. Her packages include unlimited time and two photographers!!!! The only thing I wished was that we had told her that we wanted her to arrive earlier so we had more getting ready pictures by a professional.

Six months before our wedding I reached out to our photographer to set up our engagement session and what I got back was a reply stating they couldn't honor their contract due their friends wedding that was out of state and the day before ours. Of course this was the last thing we wanted to hear or even deal with. So, we were on the hunt to find a photographer who could capture our big day, it was stressful but worth it because in the end we found Meghan at Gathering Light. Meghan is extremely friendly, professional and fun. The moment we met with her we knew all would be ok and things happen for a reason. She offered great suggestions on our engagement session and was so flexible with our wedding day. Our engagement session was fun and stress free. We loved how she was able to capture us in the moment of happiness while getting all the vibrant colors around us. There isn’t anything Meghan can’t do and we are excited to see our wedding pictures. We know she was able to capture us, our joy and our family having a wonderful time. Everyone at the wedding loved working with her and I can’t wait to work with her again.

Gathering Light Photography was a true gem! I was actually looking for a photographer in the Big Sky, MT area & had ran across Gathering Light in an older bridal guide and had contacted Meghan not knowing they had moved to Colorado! But Meghan was still willing to travel to Montana & I am so thankful she did! Her style is one of a kind and her pictures are stunning! We weren't confined to a specific amount of hours and had unlimited time to cover everything! She even met me first in Bozeman for my hair/make up & then traveled to Big Sky for the ceremony & reception. She was super friendly and also brought a 2nd photographer with her and didn't even stop taking pictures when it started to hail! Don't know what we would have done without her!

Gathering Light Photography did an amazing job for us at our wedding. Meghan Hoff, the owner, made us feel so comfortable and at ease from the minute we met her. We first met her for our engagement shoot in Morrison. It was SO windy that day but she still got some wonderful shots and captured some amazing moments between my fiance and I. We later did another engagement shoot in downtown Denver which again had so many wonderful photos of my fiance and I...it was hard to decide on what to print when we received them back! On our wedding day Megan and her assistant captured the entire wedding from 2 different angles and they are all exquisite. Meghan also offers a photo booth which everyone should use! Our guests LOVED the photo booth and had so much fun with it! Meghan's photo journalistic approach is so real raw...you really feel like you are the one there as you see her photos. Her work is amazing and we would highly recommend Gathering Light Photography to anyone. We look forward to working with Meghan again in the future!

I could not have asked for a better photographer! Gathering Light Photography was so easy to work with and I absolutely love all of my pictures. They did a great job of capturing all of the emotions and events of the evening.

Meghan was great to work with from the get-go. She was very responsive to emails and spent time answering my questions. Themain reasons I booked with Gathering Light was because they offered 2 of the things I was looking for: multiple photographers and unlimited hours. There were at least two photographers shooting the whole time and they came to shoot getting ready through the bulk of the reception, all for the regular fee. The photographs turned out just beautifully - we look like ourselves but romantic and timeless which is exactly what we wanted. We got a ton of family photos which I'm sure was a challenge as there were a ton of children to get in, but they looked great.
