The owners truly go above and beyond to ensure that every couple feels special and valued. Their passion for wanting to make your day unforgettable is evident. They are not about upselling, but about warm and genuine hospitality.
In a world where wedding venues have become expensive and strict with what they allow, it was amazing to have had such a different experience. The onsite photographer option is a must! She is incredible.

This venue made all of my wedding dreams a reality. It is absolutely stunning. Every time I’ve visited The Gathering Porch I’m left speechless. I went for a tour and immediately knew there was no way I’d be able to get married anywhere else. It was exactly the perfect fit for me and my husband. The hosts Doug and Lori are so warm and inviting and genuinely are committed to providing couples with the start to their future that they dream of. The venue is a stunning woodsy setting with a beautiful log cabin rested on a gorgeous 10 acres. There is yard games and play features for kids, places to take a private hike, or as we did a private dance in the snow, the ceremony area is breathtaking large enough to accommodate a big group but doesn’t feel empty with a smaller group like mine at 40 guests. Inside the cabin all of the touches on this home are beautiful, the attention to detail is incredible. Each little thing you come across is magical at this property and you would be doing yourself an injustice to not stay a weekend. As for the wedding itself I wouldn’t have changed a thing it was truly the most beautiful perfect day.
Got to attend a family wedding and spend the night at this beautiful venue! The hosts are so kind, welcoming and helpful. The indoor space is perfect for a small, intimate wedding or event- so cozy in the winter!! Outdoor space is also beautiful for photos and bigger events. The accommodations were very comfortable- well stocked full kitchen, comfortable beds, and a clean, nicely decorated space. Highly recommend!
Gathering porch
In March of 2024 my husband and I held an indoor event at this venue. Honestly everything was a dream come true! The aesthetic on the property was exactly what we were looking for. The log home provided ample space for our 40 some guests.
Myself and a few friends stayed the night prior to our event to get some food prepped and some decorations arranged. I was so grateful for the very large kitchen this home had. It made food prep easy and fun! The rooms we stayed in were incredibly spacious but still offered a lovely cozy vibe. Oh and the beds were a 10 out of 10!
Day of our event it happened to snow which added a perfect whimsical touch! The hosts of this venue were so helpful and fun to work with. My husband and I can’t wait to plan our next large event here because we know we will be taken care of from start to finish.
