A little over a month before our wedding, our original photographer completely ghosted us, and we were left scrambling to figure out what we were going to do. Ryan and Holly stepped in with barely any time to prepare, and what started as a really stressful situation ended up being one of the biggest blessings in disguise.
From the very beginning, they made us feel so comfortable and reassured. They were so kind, easy to work with, and genuinely excited to be part of our day. And the photos?! Absolutely STUNNING. 🤩 They somehow captured everything — the big moments, the little details, the emotions, and so many moments we didn’t even realize were happening. Looking through our gallery honestly feels like getting to relive our wedding day all over again.
Not to mention we had a sneak peek the day after the wedding, before we even woke up, and our full gallery back while we were on our honeymoon. It took us two hours to go through all of the photos from our wedding. We laughed, we cried, and saw our magical day captured perfectly.
We are so incredibly grateful that things worked out the way they did because we truly could not imagine anyone else capturing our wedding. They went above and beyond, and we will forever be thankful that they came into the picture (literally 😂) when we needed them most.

We cannot say enough amazing things about Ryan Gauper Photography! Ryan and his wife photographed my sister’s wedding, and I remember thinking her photos turned out absolutely phenomenal. When it was time for us to choose our photographer, we knew we wanted Ryan to capture our day, and he was worth every single penny.
One thing I loved about working with Ryan is how flexible he was and how well he matched our energy. We were not looking for a day filled with staged, posed photos. We wanted the focus to be on the real moments, the laughs, the emotions, and the people we love. Aside from family photos, we only did a few posed shots, and they turned out incredible. Ryan was able to adjust to our preferences and capture our day exactly how it felt.
We booked Ryan for 8 hours, and he was absolutely worth it. He showed up on time, was professional, personable, and did a great job directing us and the wedding party when needed. He captured so many amazing candid moments throughout the day, including our guests laughing, celebrating, and enjoying every part of the wedding. He also did a fantastic job capturing guest couples and those fun, genuine moments that you cannot recreate.
You truly get what you pay for when it comes to wedding photography, and choosing a photographer is not something I would recommend cutting corners on. These are the memories you get to keep forever, and having someone who knows how to capture the little moments is priceless.

Nervous couples relax, families stop stiffening up, and somewhere along the way the camera stops feeling like a camera. Moms and grandmas adore him. The feeling is mutual. Give him any lighting situation, any venue, any chaos. Couples have called him a ninja, a calm in the storm, and the best decision they ever made. Four hundred weddings in and he still shows up like it's the most important day of his life. Because to him, it is. It didn't start with weddings. It started in Hawaii with a camera he'd never owned before and a sudden realization that what he really wanted to photograph wasn't sunsets, it was people. The joy. The relationships. The way someone's whole life shows up on their face when they're surrounded by everyone they love. A year later he shot his first wedding and never really looked back. Life has taught Ryan a lot about what marriage actually means. He and Holly have been through enough together to know that love is less about infatuation and more about choosing each other every day. That understanding lives in his work, in the way he photographs a couple, in the weight he gives to the vows, in the way father-daughter moments still get to him every single time. He has two little girls of his own. He knows exactly how fast it goes. He has what people who know him would call a servant's heart. It's not a strategy, It's just who he is. Everything in his life exists to give him opportunities to serve others. At home he's outnumbered by ladies, deeply loved by a Bengal cat named Duma, and the owner of a Lego car collection he's quietly very proud of. He makes dinner every night so Holly can edit. He treats his daughters with the same quiet patience he brings to every wedding day. He's exactly who you want at your wedding.
