I was introduced to Jimmy Grizzley from a friend who got married a year ago. He was very memorable from her wedding and he did such a great job with emcee and music mixing that I was very impressed. My family is Hispanic and he is bilingual which is important to make guests feel welcome. He did a great job with our wedding and everyone danced all night. Very professional, highly recommend!!

Luis was our DJ. He did a wonderful job. Very prepared and ready to mix all of the music we wanted. We had a very diverse crowd and he was able to help with the back in forth between my hispanic family and white coworkers LOL! We had a great time, thanks Luis!

Jimmy came highly recommended to me from our venue (Hotel Del Coronado). I read reviews and listened to some of his mixes. When we met he was super helpful in explaining many aspects of DJing I did not understand. He is very detail oriented and that helps me since I am a bit of a scatter brain. It was important that my partner and I picked a DJ who was LGBTQ friendly and had experience with our communities style. I spoke with Jimmy and he was very understanding and welcoming and discussed some of his prior work with our community. He told me how he DJ'd at Rich's nightclub in Hillcrest before so I was sold. He was very professional, a wonderful MC and he stuck with our playlist and added some gems of his own. Dancing and awesome music was truly the only thing I cared about for my wedding. I met Jimmy at the Bridal Bazar and we connected when talking about music and I listened to some of his mixes. I wanted mostly hip hop at my wedding. DJ Jimmy Grizzley was recommended to us because he is a turntableist and a "real deal" DJ. He sent us some of his mixes (which were dope) and then we had a call. He has a great voice, which is awesome for a DJ. We gave him a list of songs and artists we love and he told us he would fill in the rest. He mixed in some dope old school R&B classics which had my relatives moving and grooving. Bottom line he was professional and crushed it. Smooth dresser and although he is white, that brotha has soul!

Picking a DJ was difficult, and we did our homework as we new that there is such a difference between the different companies that are out there. My husband and I are big time festival people and we wanted someone who could mix that energy level and had experience with that type of music, but we were concerned about MC styles as well. We connected with Luis of GE Productions and he ended up sharing with us about his background and his other reviews were great. We were very specific about the music and he stuck to it. George worked with him as the MC and what a wonderful tag team they were. I had a very specific vision for our big day and they brought it to life! Luis was our DJ for our wedding. We had a small wedding (less than 50 guests). It was really nice to see how engaged Luis was and even though we might not have been as big as some of his other clients he made us feel really important. He constantly checked in with us on updates and kept on us about a few things we were slacking on. On our wedding day he did an excellent job in all the aspects and the music playlist we had worked on was everything that we had hoped for. We love to dance and Luis had the dancefloor rocking. I met Mike Zee at a fundraising event I attended and he told me he also did weddings. I really enjoyed his style of mixing and I knew we wanted Latin vibes at our wedding. After seeing his information and the GE Productions website and our consultation we booked Mike. He was very easy to work with, super responsive and even helped to answer many of my "dumb" questions. Our wedding was huge, and he had extra sound for my massive Hispanic family. Mike crushed the playlist and we danced until midnight. All my familia had such a great time and still talk about how great the music was. Thanks for being so awesome!!

We had DJ Jimmy Grizzley as our DJ. We had met him at the bridal bazar in Del Mar and we could tell he was all business from how he was dressed. He made a great first impression with us and after we had a phone consultation we booked his services. He has a very easy system to work with regarding music selections and he even helped provide us with some guidance. He was in communication with our coordinator and they were on the same page for all the details of our wedding. When our big day rolled around we definitely had some things we were worried about however he was not one of them. My family is all about partying and dancing, and we have a diverse group. Jimmy crushed it with the grand entrance and as soon as the key moments were done, we were ready to party. He straight up crushed it. He played the majority or our list and worked in a few surprise tracks and even some Latin ones for my hispanic people! Bottom line was it was lit, and his mixing skills are off the chart. Hire this man if you want the wedding of a life time!

We had our wedding at the Hotel Del Coronado. Our coordinator Korie highly reccomended Jimmy for our wedding. From our first phone call, we could tell he was a total professional. He walked us through the music selection process and it was super easy and used friendly. He went over all the key moments to confirm them with us. On our wedding day everything looked clean and professional and he was a great emcee. Then the music!!! Freaking fire!! He has some really cool remixes and music with awesome energy. He kept the flow going and bounced through many of the genres we asked for. My parents were really impressed and they are music snobbs. Un freaking believeable!!! The ONLY thing that truly mattered to me at my wedding was the DJ! I can't state how much music means to me and how I did not want a "typical" "basic" DJ. Jimmy Grizz is a legit DJ, who knows how to mix and transition. After listening to his mixes and speaking with him I could tell how detail oriented he was and was anticipating out big day. We went over genres and songs we wanted and also did not want. He absolutely killed it. All of my guests kept saying how dope he was and the dancefloor was packed. He even mixed in some cool remixes of older classics so my parents could get down with us. What an epic night!! Thank you a million times over Jimmy!!

From start till finish, nothing but professionalism! Jimmy Grizz came highly recommended to us and we could tell from our initial call he knows his craft, clients, and how to do business. I am in sales and I like how he shot it straight and wasn't trying to sell me on each optional service. I have a VERY DIVERSE family and friend group, so I needed a DJ who could play it all! Thats what he does, he knows his older stuff and classics, but has his finger on the needle with the newer music since he still plays in the clubs. He worked with us to curate our specific playlist and go over our must plays and our do not plays. He was on top of us about our key moment songs and then executed them come our big day. All of our guests had an amazing time and they all raved about how good the DJ was ..... I mean we did give him a great list of choices but he definitely crushed it. My wife wanted to handle everything but the DJ. She knows how important music is to me and how I wanted to search out and vet our DJ for our big day. We got married at the Hotel Del Coronado and they have a list of vendors that they pre approved and I found GE Productions there. I had a phone consultation with Jimmy Grizzley and he was extremely personable and very informative about things that I had not even thought of. We talked about music and music style and he sent me a few mixes of his work. He was a cut above the rest of the other DJs I spoke with so it was an easy choice. We worked together on building a playlist and we were set for his big day. The dance floor was full the entire night and I really loved his advanced lighting and how it filled the room, All of our guested had such great things to say about the music and it made our dreams come true. IF you can and he's available get Jimmy as your DJ!

Jimmy Grizzley is the king! We were referred to him by our coordinator Sara with Clink & Cake. She spoke highly about him and we can see why! This man takes his craft seriously. He has been DJing for decades, but is not an old dried out DJ! He has a ton of awesome remixes and transitions and new how to work the crowd. We played some classics in the beginning and then worked up to our newer and current stuff at the later portion of the night. He is a great Emcee and also a very snazzy dresser, which just adds to the overall package. Hire him if you want an epic wedding!

A big shout out to our guy Mike Zee! Mike crushed it. We wanted a more clubby type vibe to our wedding as reggaeton and Latin music was the majority of our playlist. Mike explained that he had serious club experience and helped work with us on curating our playlist. He is a bad man on the turntables and our guests had the time of their lives. Everything he took care of was on time and on point. He is a true professional and highly recommended!!

We booked Luis after we met him at the Bridal Bazar. He was very nice to talk to and went over his experience and way that he worked weddings and we were really impressed. Leading up to the wedding he was in constant communication with our coordinator Bobby Ann. We really had no doubt that everything was going to be amazing and come our big day it was next level. Our guests raved about how good the music was...... of course we picked out a lot of the music and he even took some requests the day of (He also made sure we gave him permission to do so). Bottom line he is thoughtful, attentive, communicative and a bad ass DJ! Lastly my sister works at a hotel as event staff and has worked at least 100 weddings and she saiid he was one of the best DJs she ever heard at a wedding!! Thank you Luis!

He was very responsive and asked lots of questions, so we could tell he takes his craft seriously. I hired DJ Jimmy Grizzley for our wedding as my coordinator Korie at Bliss Events highly recommended him. We expressed to her that an amazing DJ was the most important part of our wedding plan and she literally said "This guy is a legend." Jimmy was so easy to talk to, fun and charismatic. It was so refreshing being able to feel like he was one of us! We had several calls and went through his lists to work on our music selections for the big day. Every part of our musical experience from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception were exactly what we had hoped for. DJ Mike Zee (Miguel) was our DJ for our wedding. We had a majority of Latin guests and need a bilingual DJ. Mike came highly recommended. He was really helpful with suggestions and music choices and he worked directly with our coordinator Flora on the timeline. Our wedding day was kinda crazy, but I expected that with my massive family. Both he and my coordinator made some last minute changes we needed and adapted to our needs. The dance floor was magical and full the other night. I can't say enough and I recommend him to anyone in need of a killer DJ!

I met Luis at the Bridal Bazar in 2022. He seemed very personable and honest and just like a real person. Many of the other DJs and companies felt like they were just trying to sell me everything under the sun. We wet up a phone call and went over everything and booked him! He connected with our coordinator and worked hand in hand with us using his "system" for music selection which was super easy. Come the big day we had no worries and boy did he deliver. Sweat sweat sweat ...... the dancefloor was covered in sweat because everyone was dancing their A@$$es off! I knew we had good taste in music, but the way the Elephunk mixes the tracks and some of the remixes he had were next freaking level! I am a huge music person and it takes talent to know when to play certain songs etc. Bottom line is if music is important to you and you want an epic dance party at your wedding hie Luis.... AKA Elephunk ...... you'll be blown away!!

We worked with Bryce for both our ceremony music/microphones, the event music, as well as uplights and a Gobo projection. He was professional throughout the process and made sure to let us have as much or as little input as we wanted to provide. We didn't give him much guidance until the day before the wedding, but he came through with everything we asked for. Great ambiance, fun music, and a pleasure to work with.

As a wedding planner, I've worked with GE Productions on countless weddings for years. He consistently delivers professional, customized service and cares for each of his clients. In his planning process, DJ Jimmy Grizzley is incredibly thorough regarding song selection for the most important moments of the wedding day. During the event, he will never push play on a playlist and step away from his DJ station. He curates music and actively mixes it together on site keeping energy high and your guests on the dance floor. He works well with other vendors following timelines meticulously. As the coordinator hired for Alex M's wedding (see below), I'm confused by the disappointment expressed. Alex's guests danced the entire reception. The cake cutting was both announced, staged, documented, and well-attended. He played their special song during the process as well. These clients were challenging, but DJ Jimmy Grizzley knocked it out of the park as usual!

Definitely would recommend GE Productions, true professional and really helped with the tone and flow of the whole night! Elevated our wedding with uplighting and the Photo Booth! So many guests complimented those small details and Jimmy Grizzley’s DJing. Really responsive and a great with planning toasts, key moments and overall organization of the reception. He also made a few suggestions/recommendations that made the experience even better (like suggesting the temp be turned down in the venue) and started the party that lasted through the night! People (who don’t usually dance) were on the dance floor the whole night! Very competitive and reasonable pricing for the quality and value of his services! The only note I would add is he did not really play our reception playlist that we created, so if that is important to you make sure you communicate that and tell him your must plays, we did not really do that and left it more to his discretion.

Absolutely phenomenal. Could not be happier with our DJ, Nathan. They stuck with us throughout the pandemic and 3 postponements. We had a last minute change from another DJ to Nathan and it was totally seamless. Nathan did a great job of keeping guests out on the dance floor. He also was very spot on with following the day of timeline ans announcements. Very thankful! Thanks again Nathan!

While planning our (large) wedding we knew we needed good music and a fun emcee for our family and friends who expected to dance/party all night! Everything from the planning process, to finalizing details was smooth and professional. The dance floor as NEVER empty and we had the best time. We knew from the beginning one of the most important aspects of our wedding, if not THE most important, was the music and Im so glad we went with GE Productions and had Peter aka Jimmy Grizzly as our DJ. I was between a bigger known company with a plethora of DJs and GE Productions. In the end, the other company was no match for GE Productions’ professionalism and organization as well as music and production knowledge that would lead us to have an amazing reception. What sold me was when Peter let us know they don’t overbook their DJs in case something falls through with the scheduled one, and with the pandemic going on this REALLY put me at ease. From our first meeting with Peter, both my now husband and I vibed so well with him, we all bonded over our love for house music and the understanding of the mix of genres we wanted for our wedding. He clearly layed out the package options, pricing and add ons, and it was worth every penny. As a bride on a budget I had to pick and choose what was worth the money and GE Productions was worth every penny. He gave us time to reach our decision without pressuring us, just polite follow ups. Once hired, he stayed in contact all the way through the wedding and even after with a follow-up and congratulations. He was very responsive by both email and phone. I couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire him. He encouraged us to make playlists of what we liked/didn’t like, key moments songs, and any area we failed to pick songs for he flawlessly took care of it and I trusted him completely to ensure a fun smooth day. And, for a white guy he had no problem with Spanish name pronunciation or music selection. GE Productions has unmatched professionalism and I cannot recommend them enough. Type A people… he will make your soul happy. Our guests rave to this day about how much fun they had all the pictures and videos prove the dance floor was never empty. We hired GE Productions for the ceremony music, cocktail hour and reception and chose add ons that were well worth the price, beautiful up lighting and a Monogram of our names. I look forward to the next event I can use his services and recommend them to any and everyone who asks. I just really cant say enough good things about Peter and GE Productions. P.S. Don’t let their website intimated you, I did find it a tad overwhelming, it is VERY detailed and technical.

I'm not the biggest dancer, however I do know how important dancing is to my wife and music in general. I wanted an all star DJ to handle this for my wedding and DJ Jimmy Grizzley came highly recommended. He is a class act professional and really knows his craft. He exceeded my expectations and had our guests on the floor all night long!!

Jimmy Grizzley straight up killed it. I saw him at a live event, and he was mixing throwback 90s n 2000s hip hop. That's what I wanted at my wedding so I got his contact information and we talked about service and it was refreshing to see how professional and organized he was vs traditional hip hop club DJs. My coordinator recommended this company as her favorite out of all the DJ companies in San Diego. I knew from our first call they were legit! The attention to detail and level of service they provide in getting to know you and your wedding vision is really cool. Come wedding day they were prepared and the set up looked great. Everything was perfectly executed and the dance floor was FREAKIN JAMMED ALL NIGHT!! My only complaint is we couldn't go any longer.
