I would like to say at the outset of this review it will be long. When my wife and I had our first call with Matt and Lesley, we knew we had a good feeling about these photographers. I don’t think good is quite strong enough to express our gratitude and appreciation for everything they did to make our wedding day unforgettable. Matt put in tremendous effort in overlooking our photo schedule and ensuring that everything was covered. He also provided great suggestions on specific shots as well. He was very easy to work with and very transparent so everything was seamless on the day of the wedding. The best recommendation that Matt gave was to have two photographers and he was truly brilliant for saying that. The additional views to get people’s reactions was truly genius at capturing the raw emotion on our wedding day. The photos, oh the photos!! simply put they are gorgeous and masterfully taken. The quality of the lighting, the excellent placements of the groups at the location, working with the sunlight exposure, this is expertise you can see! If you are in need of engagement photos, family photos, wedding photo please book Matt and Lesley they are quite simply excellent in every way. In closing, Matt and Lesley you were probably the best vendors we booked for our wedding, hands down! Your level of detail, your expertise in providing us beautiful photos. Our friends and family were truly grateful on how stunning the photos turned out. Matt was spectacular for a first look shoot with my grandparents who can’t make the wedding. Amazing photos and got them back so quickly. I see why Gelfman photography has 5 stars across the board!!! So happy I went with them!!

This is going to be long but it is severely overdue, so bear with me! First off, I am SO grateful to have stumbled upon Gelfman Photography. Matt was one of the only photographers I reached out to from the app Thumbtack. I was nervous about the experience because I've never hired a professional for media and I'm not great with technology and communication in general (which is obvious from the from the fact that we were married September 2021 and I'm posting in May of 2022). Matt was super patient with me, adjusting schedules and pricing when I realized I had no idea what I was doing. I also had never personally met with him before our wedding because of the Covid timing so I was leery about that as well. Matt showed up with his partner, Lesley the afternoon of our wedding and I had nothing to give them. We had no bridal attendants (and a really casual schedule) because we put together an intimate gathering at a non-venue location, so I gave them a lot more work than they probably intended. I also met them an hour and a half before our vows in tears, having a mental breakdown and they were so patient. It was honestly like I had known them my whole life; they knew what I wanted to see in my photos and they walked me through the day. They were on the ball with things I completely forgot about (down to Lesley reminding me to take my hair rubber band off for my Father's First Looks photos; thank you Lesley!!!) They also compliment each other beautifully; they bounced ideas off of each like they shared a brain, which was fun to watch. The turn-around on their work was wild. I remember a time where jobs like this would take months to come back to you. We had highlights in our inbox two weeks later. They were absolutely gorgeous, like you were still there that day! And literally one calendar month later, we had EVERY single photo Matt and Lesley took the day off our wedding, including a personalized website we could share with our guests AND a USB drive with all the files for our own use at our fingertips. I went to school for photography, and having these photos was a very big deal to me. They worked expediently, with SO much care, to give us these memories for the rest of our lives. The details captured were impeccable. My mom and I spoke about the photos after I received them and it was almost like Matt and Lesley knew what THEY would want to see in photos they'd pay for, and did that for us. I am endlessly grateful to have met this pair by chance and I cannot wait to hire them for every future shoot I want to hang on my walls. (I also apologize for how long this took me to get out!) Matt and Lesley were amazing, they were very accommodating and understanding throughout the day. Everyone from the bridal party was impressed with their professionalism and their attention to detail. We got the photos back within 3 weeks which was amazing and we got so many beautiful shots to choose from. They did not miss a moment! I also had some quick photoshop requests that were completed the same day, Matt and Lesley did not disappoint and we are so happy we had them capture our wedding day - 100% recommend them!

Matt was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Do not sleep on hiring this guy! He captured every magical moment. From every small detail to all the craziness my family brings along. He is so truly gifted on his photography skills as well as editing. He is such a kind and thoughtful person, he really made sure he ticked off all the boxes of all the shots he knew I wanted done. I’ve experienced photographers who charge insane prices and then give you a small amount of photos. Matt gave us so many amazing photos that were all so beautiful and captured PERFECTLY. His prices were also so reasonable! If I ever have the chance to hire Matt again, I would do it in a heartbeat. Thank you so much again Matt, I know I told you at the ceremony and the reception, but Patrick and I are so grateful for you. We really struggled finding an amazing photographer that was personable and in our budget. Thank you for capturing everything we wanted and being flexible for our 2 separate dates for our ceremony and reception. You are so talented! (Y’all need to hire this guy if you haven’t already, what are you doing??)

SEARCH NO FURTHER. MATT AND LESLIE IS YOUR TEAM!!.They just did my wedding and everything from the start went seamless. Every question answered, every pose requested was fulfilled. They are incredibly talented and possibly the best people you will meet on this planet!. From our DJ to our guests, they all agree that they work very well together and captured every perfect moment. Thank you so much for making our night and being apart of our wedding.

From the very beginning, Matt was professional, responsive, and accommodating when booking a photographer for our wedding day. He was timely, and made everything run so smooth. He was able to get us our images VERY QUICKLY and each picture was more beautiful than the last. He captured so many important people and moments throughout the night, I don't know how he was able to do it all! We are so so thankful and happy that we chose Matt to capture our big day.
