ngagement shoot as I am not one to typically like photos, but Matt and Lesley made the experience a breeze and so fun with their prompts and conversation. The photos were beautiful and looked natural. We were even more impressed by the wedding gallery, which captured a perfect balance of elegance and fun. They captured all the big moments of the day and the emotions along with them. The wedding portraits were gorgeous, but it was so cool to see how they captured the little moments too, from the cocktail hour conversations and dance floor moments, to the reactions we couldn’t see live the day of. Smiled the whole time looking at the photos as they emanated all of the joy, love, and laughter of the day. Highly recommend if you are looking for a wedding photographer! Thank you Matt and Lesley!

I reached out to from the app Thumbtack. I was nervous about the experience because I've never hired a professional for media and I'm not great with technology and communication in general (which is obvious from the from the fact that we were married September 2021 and I'm posting in May of 2022). Matt was super patient with me, adjusting schedules and pricing when I realized I had no idea what I was doing. I also had never personally met with him before our wedding because of the Covid timing so I was leery about that as well. Matt showed up with his partner, Lesley the afternoon of our wedding and I had nothing to give them. We had no bridal attendants (and a really casual schedule) because we put together an intimate gathering at a non-venue location, so I gave them a lot more work than they probably intended. I also met them an hour and a half before our vows in tears, having a mental breakdown and they were so patient. It was honestly like I had known them my whole life; they knew what I wanted to see in my photos and they walked me through the day. They were on the ball with things I completely forgot about (down to Lesley reminding me to take my hair rubber band off for my Father's First Looks photos; thank you Lesley!!!) They also compliment each other beautifully; they bounced ideas off of each like they shared a brain, which was fun to watch. The turn-around on their work was wild. I remember a time where jobs like this would take months to come back to you. We had highlights in our inbox two weeks later. They were absolutely gorgeous, like you were still there that day! And literally one calendar month later, we had EVERY single photo Matt and Lesley took the day off our wedding, including a personalized website we could share with our guests AND a USB drive with all the files for our own use at our fingertips. I went to school for photography, and having these photos was a very big deal to me. They worked expediently, with SO much care, to give us these memories for the rest of our lives. The details captured were impeccable. My mom and I spoke about the photos after I received them and it was almost like Matt and Lesley knew what THEY would want to see in photos they'd pay for, and did that for us. I am endlessly grateful to have met this pair by chance and I cannot wait to hire them for every future shoot I want to hang on my walls. (I also apologize for how long this took me to get out!)
