r safety and the safety of our belongings was definitely compromised. And when I tried to reach out I was not responded to with good customer service. GEM had a good price for their service at least. However, when we left the bus to visit a bar, the driver admittedly left the bus unattended to run a personal errand. While this happened the bus window was shattered and we then had to keep using the bus, AS GLASS WAS FALLING, to get to the wedding reception. There was no apology made when I tried to communicate with GEM afterwards. Thankfully nothing was stolen and no one was hurt as the glass kept falling. We were cold too. The service purchased was not well provided.

g. Would definitely recommend. The only thing that we didn't really like was paying for the 4 hour minimum when we only needed them for 2 hours. I understand why they do it, just a bit too pricey for 2 hours.

hour reservation, our trolley broke down on the side of highway 40. The company was unable to tell us how long it would be for another bus to pick us up. We waited for 20-30 minutes. Therefore, our 30 person bridal party paid out of their own pockets to take Ubers to forest park. GEM did send a bus to transport us from forest park to our venue. However, it did not arrive until 2 hours after our trolley broke down. In the heat of June, everyone was sweating and uncomfortable and our beautiful flowers wilted, negatively affecting our pictures and table center pieces. These things happen, and it is not because this all happened that I am rating GEM 1 star. It is because when we requested a refund, the company denied us and offered 50% back. After my husband made many phone calls and requested to speak to management (it was told to us that there aren't managers?), the best offer the woman would give us is 75% back. We also waited multiple days, multiple times for her to return our phone calls. We felt that not only did we get our trolley for 10 minutes out of the 4 hours that we paid for, our bridal party paid for their own transportation. We did not appreciate the lack of customer service and felt that we were treated very poorly. I would not recommend GEM to anyone. Again, things like this happen and a trolley breaking down was likely out of the company's control; but you absolutely have control over how you compensate and treat your customers.

ay! I would encourage any perspective customer to consider using GEM, call them and express any concerns you may have. My fiancé and I approached GEM with some concerns we had read in others’ reviews. GEM was amazingly professional and addressed every one of our concerns. Throughout the entire process GEM always was very courteous, they responded to phone calls and emails very quickly! We had a car take myself (the bride) and my 4 bridesmaids to the church. The car arrived early, the driver was great and we couldn’t have asked for more! After our service we had a limo bus take us from the church to photos by the arch and then drop us off at the reception. The bus arrived early, and the driver was great! The inside was amazing! GEM surprised us with complimentary champagne and allowed us to use their glasses for no extra charge; what a great touch! The bus driver was great, even when a few of our groomsmen got very obnoxious, he maintained a great composure and professional attitude. The driver kept us on schedule, knew exactly where to go and was just amazing. What we got for what we paid for far exceeded our greatest expectations! We are so happy we booked with GEM. We would strongly recommend using GEM to any bride to be. We will be referring all of our friends to them!

s. Our chauffeur was Martey, and he was great. Very friendly and he knew where he was going. I would totatlly use GEM again.

to hang out. When we were done with our pictures I asked the driver to just drive around downtown St. Louis and let my wedding party relax and enjoy it, and she did just that! We got to our reception on time and enjoyed riding around St. Louis having fun.

, he had NO CLUE, seriously, NO CLUE how to get anywhere. My husband and I didn't get to sit by eachother because he was up front the entire time giving the driver step by step directions. Here's the kicker.... the heat didn't work, not kidding, it never got above 40 degrees that day, it was pouring down rain, and we had ZERO HEAT! YOU COULD SEE EVERYONES BREATH!! The poor flower girl was almost blue she was so cold. On top of that, the Trolley leaked. The entire back of the Trolley wasn't usable because it was soaked. It was horrible, seriously miserable. The only redeeming factor was when I called to complain they ended up not charging us. They kept the deposit ($150)but didn't charge us the balance. I guess they knew it was bad!

nother question. He just knew where to go and that was great, so I didn't have to give directions! Only downfall was the speakers sounded blown and scratchy and we weren't able to crank up the music! :(

imo itself was somewhat dated and very loud inside. The price was one of the lower prices we saw and this showed. Our wedding was held on a major prom weekend so other limo companies had unfair pricing and 7-8 hour minimums. GEM limos did not do this so this was one of the major reasons we went with them.

stops. We were running a half hour behind and he didn't even say anything when I apologized for being late! He just smiled and told me to enjoy my day. The trolley was beautifully decorated with white tulle and a "Congratulations" banner. The A/C was amazing because it was a surprisingly warm day for October. I would definitely use them again.

r the time in between the ceremony and the reception. The trolley showed up exactly on time and was where it was supposed to be. They allowed coolers and food on the trolley which is definitely a plus. We went to different places around St. Louis to take pictures with the wedding party. In order to go into Forest Park, you have to have a special permit. You can purchase this through them for $7...totally worth it. They also decorated the trolley for free with wedding decorations. You can even send them ribbon with your wedding colors and incorporate it with the decorations. We had it for 6 hours and it was $600...a little pricey, but totally worth it! Oh yeah...and tip was included in the price!
